I really wanted to like this nail salon because it is convenient and the employees were very kind, but I was disappointed in the quality of my gel manicure and will not be returning. I am not the type of person to speak up if I am unhappy or write bad reviews, but a few days later I am realizing just how bumpy the gel is and it is driving me crazy. I got a coat of polish with some fun white flecks in it so it is possible this contributed to the bumps, but if that is the case, I wish I would have been warned when picking the color because I would not have chosen it. After spending $37 (not including tip), I wish I was happier leaving the salon after being there for 2.5 hours.

The first place I was drawn to since moving to Greenville and what a pleasant surprise! Beautiful little gem. Thanks to Stefanie, Amber and Christina for pampering me and making me feel so welcome from the making appointment stage through completion of my nails. A lot of friendly banter, simple and clean. And I even ventured into a new part of town to find them! 5 stars!!! Now I need a hairdresser!

I got a spa pedicure by Bryce. She was super professional, did a great job, kept the conversation flowing, and I was extremely happy with the end result. I scheduled my follow up appointment before I left, because I will definitely be back.The salon itself was nice and clean on the inside. They had very comfortable pedicure chairs, not the cheap massage ones that never get where you want them to. The foot spas were clean individual bowls.

We moved to Greenville a few months ago and I wanted to find a nail salon similar to the one I left, and Nails on the River is my new favorite place! They do amazing work and I can’t wait to host my bridesmaids here before our wedding!

I was excited to try a new nail place and was rather disappointed after going here. The nail techs were lovely but the cuticle treatment left me with 3 bleeding cuticles. All of my fingers actually hurt for a few days after. Additionally, they did not sanitize / change the towels for 4 different clients, which is gross on a regular day but in the midst of Covid is unacceptable. They also stress the importance of timeliness and appointments, yet ran like an hour behind on our appointment. Im usually not one to complain, but after spending $96 on a manicure and a pedicure, Id expect a better experience.

Christina is amazing! I went to her a couple of weeks before my wedding to get some things figured out and get an idea of what would look best. I have been back three times since and she kills it! Even my mother in-law has been back to get some awesome nails! Love it!

My daughter and I were in town for a wedding and at the last minute decided to get a manicure and pedicure. We picked Nails on the River and were super happy with our choice! Super professional, very safety oriented (we all wore our masks the entire time), the salon was clean and comfortable. Ladies that did our nails were so nice! Mostly, our nails were amazing. Did a very good job. Highly recommend!

I had an awesome experience here. Not only are the ladies funny and caring, but they make you feel so welcomed and relaxed. Briana did my nails for my wedding and a month later I’m still getting compliments! The French tip gel job she did was immaculate. Not only was she precise while she was doing my nails, but she made casual conversation that didn’t just feel like small talk. I’m going back tomorrow and I can’t wait. If you haven’t gone to Nails on the River for a friendly but fab - no phone- relaxing appointment yet, you’re missing out.

My friends and I took a girls weekend trip to Greenville and I booked three pedicures for the same time on Saturday. When we got there we saw that they only had two pedicure chairs. This is not a huge deal but it was not mentioned on the phone when I booked pedicures for three that we would not be able to all get our services at the same time. Due to the limited time we had, we probably would have chosen to go elsewhere or one of us get a manicure. When we arrived, they acted confused as if they didn’t remember we had scheduled three pedicures. I gave them my name and they checked the schedule to confirm we had indeed booked three pedicures for 1:15. Only one of our three nail technicians even acted happy that we were there or made any conversation. The other two hurried through our services and seemed very ready to be done working for the day. We all have bad days but it didn’t make for a very relaxing experience. We booked their upgraded spa pedicure but only one of us received the full services with a massage that it was supposed to come with. Because there are not prices listed on their website, I’m unsure if we paid for the upgraded pedicures or regular price. Hardly any shaping was done to my nails specifically. My feet did feel nice and soft afterwards but that was about the only plus. One of my friends had the led light for the gel set directly on her foot several times almost burning her. They also did not appear to hold the light evenly over our feet or for long enough for the gel to properly cure. This was confirmed when myself and one other friend have had entire nails worth or polish peel off on its own only a couple of days later. With tip, I spent around $65 on my pedicure. I hate to have to leave a review like this but I hope this can help to improve other people’s experiences.

GIRLS!! Dont walk...RUN to get your mani/pedi here!! Literally the most professional, accommodating, fun nail boutique I have ever been to. I recommend every employee here and will never go anywhere else! My nails always look amazing after I leave. I always come in with cute ideas from pinterest and the ladies always bring it to life on my nails!! After going to multiple nail salons around the clemson area while in college my nails were brittle and didnt grow at all. After just a month of coming here to get my nails done they have grown and are so strong! Love this place!! Perfect for girls day, weddings, or even just a self-care day! Cant recommend this place enough!

We came to Greenville for a girls trip. We wanted to get a manicure and pedicure. They only could do 2 of us. The nail techs were very unprofessional except for one, which I assumed was the manager. She asked the other nails techs why they were just sitting there and not offering to do our nails because due to them they couldnt do all of us. I wouldnt reccomend and not worth your time.

My nails are always perfect & take almost no time to do. The aura in the salon is perfect. Christina is amazing!

The staff is well educated, and always professional! I love coming here because it is a locally owned business, I always feel safe and relaxed, and I never leave with my nails less than perfect - highly recommend!

Bryce was the sweetest! Helped me pick out the right manicure for my super flimsy nails and educated me on some great products I could use at home, she did an amazing job and everyone was super nice!

Masks were not worn and the inexperienced nail tech had very long nails and moved incredibly slow. Do not recommend.

Love love love this place! Will never go anywhere else to get my nails done from now on. The techs are professional and very sweet. And of course they do a fantastic job. I’ve always had a problem with others getting my nails even or the correct shape the way I like them but zero problems here. Highly recommend checking this place out!

Beautiful salon with great service! Everyone there is very friendly and does amazing work. The nail techs are very detailed and cared about the health of my nails, unlike most nail salons you go to. I leave happy with my nails after every appointment! I definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to get your nails and toes done.

Amanda is amazing! Always has a smile on her face and is ready to make my hands beautiful! I am extremely hard on my nails, I use them as tools to open things and smash them around, and here I am 2 weeks later without a single chip. I am impressed at the care she takes and the quality of the product used. This was my 2nd time seeing her, and I already set up my next appointment before leaving. Thank you Amanda and Christine!

Ive been to a few salons in Greenville, but this place is the best by far! Cleanest most hygienic service and the techs are very kind and accommodating. As someone who has always nervously messed with their nails, it was a breath of fresh air to not be judged or have my picking pointed out. Theres tons of styles, colors, and glitter to choose from so youll never get bored. I always walk out feeling better with a great set of nails. :) Also, parking is super easy with the garage right next to it.

Update: Raechel is no longer there, but I did have good experiences visiting her at this salon.After finding Raechels amazing Instagram (@raechelsnails) account, I knew I had to visit her. Went in for some fourth of July inspired nails and absolutely loved how they turned out. I showed her a pic of what I wanted and the rest was history. Raechel was very sweet and professional, and Megan the salon owner stopped by and was also great. Im already daydreaming about what Im getting on my next visit. One of my favorite things about this salon is being able to book online, thats always a plus for me! After such an awesome experience Ill be looking into booking my next hair appointment at their hair salon.

I went to this salon for the 1st time yesterday, Amanda did my gel fill. Amanda was a lovely woman to speak with but the experience beyond that was less than desired. I did not receive a manicure, she did what she explained to me was a “Russian Manicure”. My hands at no time rested on water, my cuticles were trimmed with a bevel. The gel manicure was curious to me as her UV light times were short compared to what I’m accustomed. I left the salon minus $41 dollars and within 3 hours had chipping. I am wish I could attach a few pictures of the state of my nails this evening as I now have 4 nails half peeled off. Again, this “Gel-manicure” was done yesterday! Steer Clear!!!!!

I am so glad I found this place. Very modern and clean. Priscilla did a wonderful job. She listened to what I wanted and asked me along the way. She was extremely detail oriented and personable! It was a little slice of nail salon heaven. It is a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for. A warning to anyone booking an appointment; once you go here, you will never want to go to another nail salon!

The ladies were nice, but my friend and I are very disappointed with the quality of service we received from Nails on the River. My friend got a regular manicure and you could see through the nail polish and it chipped after 3 days. I got a gel manicure that chipped within the week. I also had an entire nail of gel polish peel off before the week was over. I am used to having a gel manicure last at least 3 weeks and only having an issue with the nail growing out. I didnt even have this one a week after paying $35 which is higher than an average gel manicure so you would expect for it to last more than 1 week.Update- changed my rating as the owner reached out and was very nice. Explained that there was an issue with the batch that has since been replaced and that the quality we received was not normal. Because of our disappointment, she offered for us to come in for free manicures but because we don’t live in the area she instead refunded us the cost of the manicure which was much appreciated.

First time at Megan Diez Nail Salon. The location is beautiful, the atmosphere is soothing, and the salon is sharp and clean. BRIANNE did the most amazing gel pedicure! By far the best pedi I have ever had. Her attention to detail was meticulous. The gel soak was strangely awesome! My feet feel so fresh and soft. Thank you again Brianne! I will be back!

I had high hopes going into my appointment but was disappointed in the end. I left with four bleeding cuticles and an okay manicure. My nails were not trimmed or shaped and ended up uneven. After I left I notice my nails also looked dirty as well. I cant say I will return.
