The place is nice and clean. I went for a gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure service was very nice, but the gel manicure was not. The male tech use the hand tools which cut my finger and he placed an agent to stop the bleeding. He did not apologize. He did not reshape the nails or trimmed them down snd tried to do a French nail manicure. I wished I had went to one of the females. When I paid for my service, he requested his tip in cash, and I opted to put it on the card. I came in because a waiter swore by them, but I will not visit the salon again.

I went as a walk in on Labor Day which worked out great. I got a gel mani and a regular pedi. Service was fast and pretty detailed, and the gel manicure has lasted almost a week with zero issues. My pedicure got a little smudged in the salon but no big deal. Color selection left a little bit to be desired and you can only tip in cash. Prices are a little pricey compared to other places I’ve been to, but about right for the area.

I got my eyebrows waxed at glamorous nails and from the very start I emphasized to the tech to keep them big, natural and to not make them thin.When I looked in the mirror after she finished I was horrified that she completely ignored my instructions and made them super thin. I told her immediately afterwards that I was not happy at all with the result but she kept insisting that she did not remove a lotI spent $112 on services but they refused to remove $12 for the botched eyebrow job and decided to only give me a $2 discount.I called the store immediately after leaving at 6:45 on Friday 1/8/2020 and a guy answered the phone claiming to be the manager but refused to give me his name.He insisted that I was wrong for not being happy with the two dollar discount and that this was “good enough”. I explained that $2 does not make up for my botched eyebrows which I now had to grow out for the next month but he proceeded to argue with me over the $12 refund that I was asking for because according to him it was “not good” and “not fair” on my part. He also accused me of not expressing my dissatisfaction at the store which was not true (hence the $2 discount).Despite his ugly tone, I was talking to him in a respectful manner but he decided to hang up the phone in my face when I disagreed with his arguments. I called back but he sent my number to voicemail. I called a third time when he finally answered simply to let him know that he is welcome to keep the money but I’d be posting a review of my first time experience there.Their cleanliness is also not the best which is scary during covid. They don’t use disposable paper on the waxing table and the tech did not wipe it down after we used it. The little hand fans on the stations were full of dust and they don’t use bags in the pedicure bowls. They DO NOT ask you to sanitize or wash your hands upon entering the salon but dip your fingers directly into the sns powder container.I usually don’t write reviews but I had to share my experience in case it helps someone avoid this place. There are better options for sure

I have been going to Glamorous Nails Spa for years and have never had anything but wonderful service.Van has been my nail tech since I moved to this area 7 years ago and I’ll follow her anywhere she gors!Van gives a great pedicure and I love the way she does deep powder in my nail!!Every time I come here I feel extremely welcomed and taken care of. The atmosphere is relaxing and the place is very clean!If you havent been here yet, what are you waiting for?

Amazing !! Called last minute to get my pedi and gel done. They took me in and took their time to do my nails . Van was fast but she did great job, i love that it doesn’t take her too long to do nails ! She is my person to go ! Highly recommend

This place is not covid ready! No shields on the mani stations and no covers on the pedi tubs! It even has a sewerage smell when you walk in. I gave it 3 stars for the nice lady that did my nails and her service even though her uniform was not very clean.

They were so happy to help me remedy the bad nail experience that I had with another salon. They redid the decorative designs on my fingernails and redid my gel pedicure. Very thorough and professional.

Pedicure. The technician nicked the skin on two toes while trimming cuticle causing them to bleed. One toe became infected and required antibiotics. I question the sanitation practices of the tools and even the basin/water. I gave the name of the salon to the doctor I saw. I am working on reporting them to the licensing board.As far as quality goes, she didn’t dry my feet before putting oil/lotion on skin. I took the towel and dried my feet myself. The massage was very poor. It was more like light touching. I asked for callus scub. She pulled out the sharp metal file! I pulled my feet back! I didn’t finish the pedicure. They would not reduce the price. Worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I will never go back. Others should think twice about patronizing them.

If the reviews don’t make you steer clear and you choose to venture to this nail salon like i did be warned. Very poor work and extremely rude. Yesterday i was quoted one hour wait to get one nail fixed as many techs sent idle. After waiting 30 minutes they quoted me $15 for ONE nail and said they can’t guarentee it will match the other nails. I said fine I’ll pay $15 as i had a event and don’t want o be missing a nail. The tech roughly began prepping my nail and when she threw a tip on and cut it shorter then the rest i said never mind. I walked out. Why do you work at a nail shop if you don’t like doing nails or have poor customer service??? Also the lady had no clue how to put on a nail tip. I went to the nail shop in RIO right up the street and was warmly greeted right away. She charged me $5 and I tipped the tech $20 for replacing my one nail quickly and efficiently. Steer clear of this shop in downtown crown they are AWFUL!!!

I was able to walk in and get a Mani/pedi on the same day I scheduled it. I didnt have to wait, the price was reasonable and I was happy with the how my nails looked.They only accept cash top so be aware of that before going in.

I just moved to Rockville, and a colleague of mine recommended Glamorous Nails. I had a spa pedicure, gel manicure, and an eyebrow wax with Mai and she was great! She was such a perfectionist when it came to all 3 and really took her time. My nails and eyebrows look great! I will definitely be returning and seeing Mai in the future!

Sadly used to be able to give this place a 5+. Everyone was welcoming and the atmosphere bright and relaxing. However new management has taken over, it now looks messy, encumbered and unwelcoming. And worse of all the very talented Lily and most of the employees are gone! I had an appointment with Lily and nobody called to say she was gone and no one could tell me where she is. I hope to find a place like Glamorous Nails used to be.

BEST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD!I went in to get a full set with gel polish, something which Im used to costing $60 before tip. It only cost $43! The nail artist had amazing attention to detail, and Ive never loved me nails more. I made an appointment and arrived 15mins early - they got me right in and out in an hour. Everyone was very polite and kind and the salon was impeccable. I will ONLY be going here from now on!

Hands down, best nail salon in the area. Go see Lynn, she is truly the best!

Great place to get Manicures and Pedicures people are very friendly!

I’ve been here several times, and they haven’t been great but I figured i’d give them a chance since I live close. Today is the last time I will be going, it really depends on who you get. This lady messed up my order and then told me that I couldn’t get what I wanted because she “didn’t have time” If you mess up someone’s order, you’re supposed to do what the customer wanted in the first place. Also, while I was drying my nails and toenails, my purse fell on the floor and nobody cared to pick it up as they passed it several times, my nails could have been messed up. Overall, the lady that did my nails and feet was just rude, rushed, and gave me attitude. She did not do a good job.

Just got my nails done with Van and Im happy to say that I have found my new nail place!!!! The folks are really nice. Thanks Van 😁

Definitely a bad experience.They changed their rates 2x while we were sitting there. They gave us a price over the phone and when we got there they charged something completely different. 25 for a kids pedi that was supposed to be 20.00. They spent less than 3 minutes on the kids pedi. Then to make matters worse, they charged different rates for a 9 and a 7 year old. Furthermore, one of the nail technicians snap her fingers in a rude matter to get customers attention. One one nice person in there, all others rude. Save your time and money, dont go to this place.

After been going there for so many years I’m very disappointed! Ly has been my nail technicians for 5 years and just because I cancel my appointment because my son was sick now she is not answering my messages or calls! So sad

Agreed if zero stars available. Ive been going here for 2 years and today was an absolute rip off. Im that guy that gets a pedicure once a month and tips well. I wont go back. It was a 15 minutes pedi. Usually takes 45 minutes to an hour. They will shut down.

If there was 0 star, I would give 0 star for this salon. Do not waste your money and time, they are very rude and unprofessional. I got my dipping powder and asked the guy to make it natural not thick for me. After only one day most of my nail got cracked, and when I got back to fix it, they treat me very unprofessional. Never ever get back there, really disappointed 😡😡

If I could give this place zero stars I would. After following Van for years I was hung up on and asked not to return because they were using old polish that was stretched and caused bubbles in the polish on my nails. I asked for the nails to be fixed and even offered to bring my own polish and was responded to with rudeness. Van would not come to the phone and allowed the man who worked there to speak for her who indicated that it was the managers policy although there was no manager to speak to. This is not how you treat regular loyal customers who tip, follow you to a new shop and spend anywhere from 60 to 80 dollars every two weeks. Also if you are asking for the salons mistake to be fixed it should be taken care of without rudeness. Very dissapointing and as they requested I will not be returning.

Clean and friendly place that has a lovely group of technicians. They do a great job and the prices are comparable to places in the area.

I had a long day at work and wanted to treat myself. I have never had such a terrible experience getting my nails done before!! The lady made my nails uneven and gave them all sorts of ridged like edges. Not worth the money. I am never going back, words dont describe how pissed I am to have my nails look and feel this terrible. Save your money.

This was my second visit here. The first time was ok but the second time was not..#1 The lady cut my finger as soon as she started.#2 OverPriced. (50$ for a fill in)#3 The lady used nail clippers to cut down instead of the drill and cracked the acrylic on my thumb nail. 7 days later it cracked all the way and fell off.#4 Pointer finger nail was way to thin and snapped right off while I was only goin thru my purse.

People going over there be aware these people dont know how to treat customers I took my mom for her nails they cut her skin she was bleeding we waited for 55 minutes getting nothing done..the lady was not even apologetic for what she did instead arguing with me..and the owner should be in jail as he is criminal as I said this is wrong service he pushed me and told me to get out of store...people jus sitting and watching movie I dont believe and they deleted the recording while showing the officer.TAKE A DRIVE AND GO ELSEWHERE RATHER THAN GETTING IK INSULTED WITH THIS MOODY MAN..

I went the other day to get a pedicure. Since I was dressed down they treated me very different and made me feel like trash and cheap since I went with the basic pedi. The lady did an OK job with my nails but at the end she just made me sit 5 mins to air dry them and said I should be ok instead of putting me under the fan dryer. Lastly, when I gave her my credit card to pay and was handing her the signed receipt WITH the cash tip, she assumed I wasnt going to tip her and quietly said, dont forget to give me tip before she saw the cash. After she did, she changed her demeanor and thanked me profusely. Dont think Ill come back here because of the poor ways they treat customers that arent dressed up.
