I cannot recommend Lynn enough! She is a truly professional hair dresser and did wonders for my dry, older-ladys hair. The color and cut are top notch.

This was my first time visiting, and I followed my previous technician Tyler to his new location because he’s simply the best and no one can match his designs. Apart from my amazing tech Tyler, the owner is funny and personable. He’s very friendly — unlike owners in other salons who barely speak to customers. I love this place and will definitely be a returning customer!!

I went there to get my nails done and the lady at the front turned me down that they were busy when she had no customers. I made an appointment and went back, she said she gave away my appointment to someone coz I was 5 mins late and asked to reschedule again. The most unprofessional experience that Ive ever had.

This place was fantastic! Ive been to a few places in Iowa and Chicago. There is no comparison to this place. The man that worked on my nails has 16 years of experience and was a perfectionist. It was a great experience.

I have been going to Moni for years now and she has never ever disappointed. Recently, I decided to lighten my hair after repeatedly dying my hair all sorts of red and purple at home. Moni was able to lift my hair to a beautiful caramel color in one sitting. She was also super honest with me about approaching this process slowly and carefully. I had my second process recently (6 months later) and my hair feels so impossibly healthy. Im really grateful to have found such a fantastic hair expert in Moni.

They were so professional, and did all the percussion for COVID 19. They were so kind. I was so worried to go there because of COVID but I got a gift card and I wanted to use it;) there are so clean and follow the 6 feet distance that bring me relax experience.I will go back soon again.

You know when you did not get a good mani as you rush home to sit and correct it. Poor nail shaping and messy cuticles leftovers.With that, people at the salon are friendly and hardworking. Spa mani involves many layers of strong smelling substances.Still prefer to drive to DC and get a regular mani that gives the hands feeling of wellness and nails looking very fresh and young, nicely shaped. Less time, better massage, and twice cheaper.

Took my mom here to surprise her for her birthday and she’s not one easy to please. She really enjoyed the whole experience and everyone including the workers around were super friendly. Definitely a great atmosphere to be in and will return

Kentland Salon has extremely talented Nail Technicians, Cosmeticians, and Hair Color Reconstructor Specialists, and Stylists. They have the best quality products for Hair and Nails. Its one thing to have the finest products for nails and hair but to have technicians who know how to use these products to there fullest capacity is another story. The experience is great. I highly recommend this salon to anyone. There remodeling inside is awesome. Parking is great too!

I had a great experience with Tina! The salon has just opened and they are offering 20% off their services up to their grand opening next week. I saw Tina since I went to another salon last week that messed up my hair and she was able to fix it for me--and it looks fantastic! She was very nice and the salon interior is very modern and comfortable (especially the shampoo chairs). I cannot wait to go back!

My first time visiting The Nail Bar at Kentlands Salon and I am ecstatic with the amazing job Brenda did. You can tell she’s an experienced nail technician. She takes her time, makes suggestions, and does a fantastic job. I received a SNS dip powder french-manicure and a pedicure. The dip powder is not an easy manicure to do, especially a french, but Brenda has truly mastered the technique. I highly recommend Brenda and this salon. I know I won’t be going anywhere else!!

Kentlands Salon is a full service salon located in Kentlands MD. The facility is large and well lighted. It has a separate Nail Salon which helps contain strong chemical odors. The staff is friendly and excellent. My hairdresser is Tina. Highly recommend her and this salon. Free parking.

I would not give them any stars but since I have to I will give them 1 star. My husband wanted for me to have a spa day . I had a 2:30 for my nails and a 4pm with Ralph. When I walked in they took me over to the nail salon and i had my nails worked on. It was ok. So I went to the salon side and told them that I have a 4 pm appointment with Ralph and they said no. I told them 3 times and they would not listen to me. They colored my hair and when the time went off she was no where in side. She finally came over & was texting and said 5 more minutes and I said no the timer went off. After my husband said I guess that texting is more important. She took me to wash my hair & constantly hitting my head with the blow dryer. When we went to pay they wanted to up the charge. The reason I was getting my hair done was because it was my 40 year high school reunion. Save your money do not go there. Very rude.

Unfortunately I visited this salon today. I needed to color my hair and to do the nails. The nails were fine but the color...OMG. I have a brown hair and needed to color the roots. First there was someone who colored them red instead of brown. I tried to tell her that it was a wrong color but I dont think that she understood. Then the owner said that she would fix it so of course I agreed. The hair became almost black. When I came home everybody was shocked. I have never ever had to deal with something like that before. My friend said that it is always like that when people are not professional and that what makes a difference. Dont know how I will go to work on Monday looking like that. I have started to really appreciate my regular hairdresser. By the way I had to spend 3 hours at the salon because of this which totally ruined my day.

Walked into the salon, wanting to get my nails done. Two techs doing manicures, looked right at me and just ignored me. No hello, no may I help you, nothing. Another woman came from the back, looked at me; again, didnt even bother to acknowledge me. In total, 5 people looked right at me and never said a word to me. If this place doesnt want new customers, they shouldnt be in business. Dont patronize this shop... Spend your money where youll be appreciated.

Made the mistake by doing another hair trim walk in. I went there the first time and a woman (Older with black hair and glasses) totally messed up my hair, not even on both sides at all. I went in again and again she was the stylist they gave me. I asked her to trim half an inch and she cut off 2 inches. My bangs look horrible and I feel like I’ll be wearing my hair up for months until it grows out again.If this place is a serious hair business they will fire her. I would not recommend this place to anyone because of that.

The husband of the owner is sweet. My aunt and mom recently came in here and had a terrible experience (not with ms lee. or any nail tech because they opted out after that grinchy greeting!)

I looked up this salon on Google because I needed to get Olaplex treatment . I called and set up an appointment for 6:00 and unfortunately I got there at6:30 because of an accident on my way. I called and they said no problem your hair stylist will take you. I got there and was greeted by my hair stylist Tina with big smile on her face and great energy .I explained to her that my hair got damaged due to harsh chemicals applied by Saira’s salon in Arlington when they colored my hair ( I used to go to saira’s for years until she ruined my hair. I had to cut my hair to a shoulder length it was down to my waist ) Anyways Tina is fantastic she recommend Brazilian blowout application and it really did miracles . I am now committed to a once a week treatment with Tina, who’s very professional, nice and the best 😍. Today is my second visit and I’m very pleased !!!

Save yourself time and money and go somewhere else. This salon is over priced and you are not getting what you pay for. They charged $90 for a dip Mani/ regular pedi. By far the highest I have ever seen. And they didnt do the full manicure treatment. It also took over 2.5 hours. I have been able to get a dip Mani and pedi in an hour and a half and have more done such as hot stones. They also wanted to charge $5 for using the pummus stone during the pedicure... I thought that was part of a regular pedicure... If I just wanted my toe nails cut I could have done that myself. This is the second bad experience I had here. Around Christmas I came in wanted a gel manicure, green and gold. They didnt have the color I was looking for a settled for a more pastel green and sparkly white that reminded me of snow. The person doing my nails and one other woman working tried to get me to do a different color after I told them exactly what I wanted. They kept insisting and kept bringing out more iridescent glitter I made clear I didnt want. They then proceeded to argue with me that it wasnt Christmas. I shouldnt have gone back after that, but figured if give them another shot. Joining me recently was a young lady getting ready for prom and we picked out colors to match her dress. She picked a lighter color and instead of doing an extra coat to make sure the color looked nice, they simply refused to use any more than 3 coats. If the polish doesnt cover, get a better product. I will not be going back here and have advised many co-workers and friends to steer clear as well.
