Probably the best haircut experience Ive ever had! While normally I am slightly uncomfortable being in a chair and having little control over movement, I felt very relaxed today. Shantel did a phenomenal job as well as was extremely nice and caring. I will definitely back. Very calm environment, quiet, and clean. Worth every penny.

Id give it five stars but despite an appointment the stylist didnt get to me for over 30 mins late. Luckily, I had some flexibility in my schedule that afternoon. That said, the stylist did a GREAT job on my hair, even with my many cowlicks.

Very disappointed. I have been a loyal customer for many years. I bought the hair cuts in advance the package cost was $175. I believe is 6 hair cuts. I have done it before and everything was fine.Today, I took my son and they told me that the $175 transaction was not on the system. That it did not showed I bought it. I show the my bank transaction from my phone where it shows they charged me. The lady at the cashier said that it was not on her computer and She made me feel like if I was lying. It is so unjust I paid for a service and it was not honor. Besides, I felt very sad because She did not care to help me nor did give me the attention to understand me So I ended up paying $35 more plus $5 tip because Danielle was super nice I was going to give her a $10 tip but My son hair cut was too expensive now since they did not honor the package that I paid. I am sad because I liked that place but now I cannot go again with this situation. I dont know what happen why did they could not help me and believe me. If you go do not buy the haircuts in advance.

Best place I have ever gotten a hair cut. Chloe was absolutely fantastic. She was very professional, talkative, made sure to ask what you wanted and that you not liked but LOVED your hair! Absolutely great! Cant wait to go back!

Great inviting professional environment! Rachel did a great job bringing to life the haircut I had described without having any prior experience with me or my preferences. Two-step treatment was excellent and relaxing. Probably wont be returning only being that they dont offer some of the services Ive come to appreciate. However great experience overall and would feel very comfortable recommending this mens salon to anyone.

Went here for the first time and Shelby helped me, it was amazing, great haircut and I’m very picky about my hair and the massage was greatness as well!

So, I call a couple hours ago to find out about a service. I ask if walk ins can be taken. Am told yes, no problem.The website shows at least 9 or 10 names of stylists so I figure in and out.I show up. Only 2 staff working. I guy waiting. Am told almost an hour wait. So, out the door I go. Will find another place to get trimmed today..Gave em a shot.Looks like Roosters will take me. And they are even at a better rate. Off I go to Plano. So much for local. Tho I try really hard to keep it in Frisco, but Frisco businesses are a different breed than the rest of Texas.

STAY CLEAR!!! I would encourage you to NOT use Cowboy Up, since the new ownership and management has taken over (late 2019-early 2020). I had been a 5+year long, former-loyal customer and I cannot express how disappointed I am with new ownership and management. The quality of service has significantly decreased and a new RUDE, DISMISSIVE and DECEITFUL booking practice has ruined a once good place for a hair-cut. Beware that they can (and will) cancel your scheduled appointments! I spent 45-minutes in Monday evening traffic to be on-time, only to be told that their new scheduling system allowed them to cancel my scheduled appointment. They dont care about you, they dont care about customer service and the quality of their haircuts + new higher prices are not worth getting scalped over. BOYCOTT this poorly run place, Frisco is full of too many good salons with nice people who care about their customers!

Went there today and asked if they had time for a couple of walk-ins. The girl up front said that they did, no problem. Got my son in quickly and they did an OK job on his hair. It was a well-decorated and clean place with nice bathrooms and a cool theme. So far, so good. But then I guess they somehow set me up with a particular girl who was assigned to me. She took over 30 minutes cutting a kids hair and still wasnt done. There were several stylists there that werent doing anything but apparently they werent assigned to me. My sons haircut was done and there were several other clients taken back while we all patiently waited for my turn. I went to check and see why I was skipped, and was assured that it would only be about 5 minutes longer. After 45 minutes of waiting we paid for my sons haircut and left. My son liked the usual place we go to get his haircut much better and was happy when I told him he didnt have to go back to this place again. Definitely not the experience I expected after reading all the reviews...

Abbie was great. She kept the conversation going throughout, made sure to check with me about a few key details, and gave a nice cold one before I left. My haircut looks great and I can honestly say this has been my best haircut experience in Texas so far.Thanks Abbie!

The vibe in the store today was energetic and bubbly and fun which I appreciated. When I walked in everyone was friendly and helpful. So much confusion today. First I was checked in as a different person with the same first name. That person wanted similar but different services. Could you please make sure the staff knows the terminology on the service list? Beard Trim, Face Shave and Beard Shave have different price points, require different equipment and have different outcomes. When the staff uses the wrong names for services I dont know how much I am going to be charged or what is going to be done to my face. I spent a lot of time tiday clarifying my services from before I sat in the chair all the way to the end at the register. The service I selected when I booked on line was clear and did not change. The service itself was fine except that the stylist kept trying to engage in personal chat. I was not in the mood today.

Unfortunately I have been required to cheat on my regular stylist with a last minute appointment on days when she was off, but left with another great cut. I live in Dallas and have followed my stylist from the Preston Hollow location to Frisco. I am very particular about who cuts my hair because of multiple cowlicks, but have not been disappointed. Also, the girls are always willing to provide good conversation. Two thumbs up!

The first time I met Abby she let me know my beard needed work in no uncertain terms. I booked an appointment with her the next day and havent looked back. She gives a great haircut and my beard has never looked better! I trust two people to touch my beard now: my girlfriend and Abby. Guys, do your beard a favor and go see Abby as soon as possible.

Ive been Cowboy Up 3 times now and I have never been disappointed. The cuts I receive are always excellent and the staff is friendly and professional. I have been to several salons geared toward men (i.e. the gents place, the boardroom) where cuts were $50+. I first tried Cowboy Up on a lark and was extremely impressed. The $26 price plus the services that are included surprised me. Great atmosphere and great cuts for a great price. I have found my new barbershop. Great job Cowboy Up.

Had a great haircut experience here. I usually go to sport clips and found the service here to be quite a step above. My results from sport clips was always hit or miss. I only have one sample to go on at Cowboy Up, but definitely a hit. Jackie took really good care of me and definitely got my hair looking good. I really enjoyed the straight-razor neck trim.

Alexa is one of the kindest, most talented, and down-to-earth stylist Ive ever had the pleasure of meeting! Every cut Ive ever had from her has been 10/10, and I always look forward to our shop talk when I come in!!

Jackie was awesome. I forgot to write a review after my first haircut and am writing it now as I wait for my second from Jackie. The place is clean and very guy friendly. The owner responds to reviews and shows he cares about this place. And it shows in the employees and their work. I highly recommend coming here.

The haircuts are expensive, but you receive a lot of good things for the price. Did I mention they have beer on tap? They also have very pretty ladies cutting your hair. That helps.I could do without the country music, though. But I get their atmosphere and if they were playing Bruno Mars, it would be weird.Oh. And they have beer. Good beer!

I used to really like this place. Drove all the way from Grapevine up to Frisco. But lately with the price hike and poor service, I will not return again. I called the other day to schedule an appointment and after 20 minutes of being on hold I hung up. Plus the rude front desk service Ive been getting this place has become the worst.Delaney is still an awesome stylist, but besides her nobody else cares about the customers in that place.

Absolute DO NOT recommend. My husband is a working professional and they have completely ruined his hair. I wouldnt be surprised if the women working havent been certified. What ever you do, DO NOT go to Jackie. The Board Room for men may be more exspensive but its WELL WORTH IT.

Danielle cuts my hair, keeps notes to ensure consistency, she is nice, and makes sure I know her schedule so that I can get my hair cut every four weeks. The person at the front desk is always great.

Totally disappointed, discourteous service. Had an appointment for 5:20 PM. Arrived few minutes early. Was told it would be 10 minutes. Kept waiting for 20 minutes. No one bothered or had the curtesy to apologize for delay. April who has been cutting my hairs. I was told on phone doesnt work anymore. I was going to get an unknown hair dresser. People who came after me had their service started before. I would have gone with any body if given choice, instead of aimlessly sitting and wasting my time. Had to leave in the end realizing that rude behavior was not worth the wait. Will never go back again to this outfit.

VERY disappointed with our visit today. First time at this location and will not be going back. The lady that did my nephews hair did a horrible job and to top off was extremely rude and very impatient. My nephew is 4 and will obviously move, and that was never a problem with the previous times I’ve taken him to get a haircut. Do not cut a child’s hair or anyone at that if you don’t think you can handle it.Such a high price for such poor service.......

I got the best haircut of my life here, and I am more than a little picky about my hair. This place wreaks of quality and experience.Upon walking in I was offered a drink (including a beer) at no extra charge. My stylist and everyone else I interacted with were extremely nice as well as knowledgable.I will be returning to this salon for all of my haircuts for the foreseeable future.

Ive been to Floyds before this place and Im glad I changed. Appointments are easy to book online and they are always on time.

I was very disappointed with our experience today. After arriving a little early, we waited 20 minutes past our appointment time. There were no apologies for our long wait. The lady who cut my son’s hair seemed seriously annoyed that she had to cut a child’s hair. When we asked if he could sit in the child’s area to get his haircut she actually said “no, this will be better for me”. I am sorry, are you paying for this haircut? I understand that our child was small, but it doesn’t warrant the rude service. We will not be returning.

Ive taken my fiancé here several times and he loves it! His hair always looks great. Next time Im getting him the Gully Washer Facial so his skin looks as good as his hair.

Made an appointment for me and my son at 220 and 230 in Frisco. They took my son back at around 220 but didnt come for me until 255. I had to decline because now I dont have time in my schedule for the cut. Plus my son is unhappy with his cut. Wont be back.

We were EXTREMELY disappointed with the customer service at this Frisco location. As a new client, the lady assigned to cut my sons hair could not have been more un-person able. She was not friendly. She was not happy to have a new customer. There was a miscommunication in the way my son wanted his hair cut. Once we let her know, she acted like she did not care at all. The haircut she gave my son was really bad. She did not trim around his ears well and the shape of the cut when done was not good. This was one of the worst haircuts ever. Even worse, she was unfriendly and did not handle the misscommunication professionally at all. I will tell everyone I know to NOT come to this place. It was very evident they do not value their customers.

I had a similar experience as another reviewer. I was driving home from work on Lebanon road and was intrigued by the Cowboy Up signand than completely blown away by the finish out inside. Every person I dealt with a salon treated me with great respect and provided stellar customer service. I was greeted with a beer upon entry than went on to receive a fantastic haircut, facial, and a neck shave with warm cream that did nothing but confirm my good choice in entering Cowboy Up. You wont be dissappointed.

Had an appointment last Saturday for a Lone Star haircut. Got there right on time, and I was told it would be about 5 minutes. Ten minutes later, I was told again that the stylist would get to me within 5 minutes. 40 minutes after my appointment time, the stylist goes in the back...and I waited another 5 minutes and then just walked out (as I had dinner reservations).Unbelievable. Have visited this place in the past a few times...but no more.

I have been going here for nearly a year and have always had a great cut. I actually had to give the a second chane because the first girl that cut my hair fid a fair job so i chose another stylists on the next trip. Katlin did an excellent job on the last trip but i can not wait for Jordin to be back as she is my normal one to see.

I saw this place while driving down Lebanon Road one day on my way home from work. From the outside, the place looked kind of nice...rustic Texas theme, seemed clean, and didnt seem like your typical Supercuts type joint. However, I was WAY wrong. This place is exactly like the discount chains, possibly worse. The stylist I had my Lone Star haircut with worked at Great Clips the week before I got my haircut, she smelled like smoke, and gave me probably the worst haircut of my life. For $26 plus tip, this was not worth it. I can tell you that Ive spent $40+ before on my haircut at places like The Gents Place, Von Anthony and even my wifes place at Green Peridot and always had good experiences. I tried to go cheap this one time and now realize that you get exactly what you pay for.

Called up for shave but she put me for hair cut. Then refused to accommodate appointments for me to get shave. Drove half an hour to come back disappointed

Jordin is the absolute best there, she cut my hair for a year looked better than it had in years. But she had to have carpule tunnel surgery had my hair cut by someone else it was so bad went and got a buzz cut to get rid of it, was told Jordin not coming back ill look elsewhere for a stylist.
