Great shop. Great staff - everyone is very friendly - but I can mostly speak for my girl Megan: shes the all time greatest stylist Ive ever had. I honestly get stressed about moving at some point down the road and not being in a reasonable radius to this shop. Thankfully Megan is as good to talk to as she is a stylist, so I can share these concerns and feel much better when I leave with a good haircut to boot. Five stars.

Local Barber Company is a reliable barber shop. I have been going for a year. Brandon is professional barber and is always busy with clients. The front desk staff was courteous and even squeeze me in as a walk in when Brandon is super busy. I can recommend Brandon and this barber shop for men and boys haircuts.

My stylist Megan is always good for an amazing cut, beard trim, shampoo, and great conversation. But really, GET THE SHAMPOO. She is always fun to talk to and makes the time go by so quick. My family came in at 5:10 on a Sunday, because their website said Walk-In welcome! A woman with green hair looked at us peeved for waking in, “ Hey, How can I help you?” They replied, “Can you take two haircuts this evening or at least one for the kid?”She said, No, no one is going to take care of you tonight.” And went right back to sweepingWe understand if it was busy and we would have made an appointment if it was offered. Instead she gave a cold shoulder and made us feel unwelcome. Your front staff is the face of the company, need to a better job in training them if they work in human services.

Been a customer for 18 mo. I understand hiccups and have patience for minor changes. The past 4 times in have been poor. Long wait times, lost reservations, changes in stylist and on this visit, simply cancelled my reservation. I am flexible with a simple phone call, but don’t allow someone to show up to be sent back out the door. I’ve selected a new shop and will not continue to promote this one.

Meagan is literally the best! Very social, me and her have great conversations and built that barber/client relationship! I always go to her! If she’s not there.. then I literally wait for a cut till she’s there. Been to several barbers and she always kills it ever single time! No one else I trust to cut my hair! Based on the rating and number of reviews, I thought Id be fine getting a hair cut here. Instead, I got the worst hair cut of my life. They cut my hair way shorter than I asked for, and it was PATCHY! Like they straight up used clippers incorrectly. They missed entire sections. My 8-year-old niece couldve done a better job, and Im not exaggerating. I didnt notice quite how terrible the cut was until I got home and really looked in the mirror. Then it made complete sense that Samuel told me hed started working there a month ago; Im assuming it was his first month of cutting hair anywhere. Thats not okay. I went back to read the negative reviews here and saw that others have had some similar experiences. Id steer clear of this place.

I came here because of Megan. Obviously, I have been loyal due to the quality of cut and to the preference that I like. Ive followed her from place to place but this establishment has been the best so far. This place has always been clean (Id eat off the floor, not really but), friendly staff (service is oriented), music at decibel that doesnt make you yell out to your stylist, and a complimentary beer if youd like. If you didnt like your experience, there is a cafe next door to grab some carbs and a spa on the other side for a counseling session.

It is always a great experience when I walk into Local Barbershop! I found a professional hair artist there in Megan, she does an awesome job every time! Megan is a great addition to the shop due to her all around awesome personality and I always come away looking sharp and is definitely the reason I keep coming back!

Wonderful haircuts and pleasing to the eyes! I usually go to Floyd’s barbershop which is like the opposite of this. This barbershop plays music but not that loudly, their walls and decor are appropriate and give you that barbershop feel. The barbers do amazing jobs but could talk more. You go in there and you get what you pay for, a haircut. I appreciate it when my barbers talk to me so I don’t fall asleep. You can make reservations with specific people and their website is easily accessible.

I have use this location for years. Recently my stylist recently moved to another company.I still returned to this location trying to be a loyal customer. I scheduled an appt. with a new stylist and arrived 10 minutes and checked in with the front desk.After waiting 20 minutes, I was informed that I would have to wait 45 more minutes as my stylist was running behind.Clearly the guy scheduled before me showed up late because he didn’t arrive until 10 minutes after my scheduled appt.No one called to tell me the stylist was way behind, and they were not honest when they could have told me this when I first arrived.Poor scheduling, poor customer service!

Came here for the first time today and we chose Ashley due to previous reviews. She did a great job on both my sons haircuts! She was personable and they both felt comfortable with her, a big plus was when they said she didn’t cut them. We were all happy with their cuts and I’m thankful she spoke to them about how they should style their hair. They’ll definitely be going back to her!

I feel any company should strive for at least good customer service. At the prices you pay for a haircut here, they should give excellent service. I received bad service and then was told they NEVER get complaints. Well, reading the reviews here, I beg to differ.My barber (CHE) cut one side burn off even with the top of my ear.Its 1/2 shorter than the other. I said something about it when I felt it happen. He was then very adversarial, and tells me that hes going to stop the haircut right then (half done). I actually had to encourage him to finish, since I had waited 40 minutes for him and did not want to start over with someone else.I then spoke to the manager and was told that they dont have issues and that she was only getting my side of the situation. I guess the customer does NOT come first here. I will take my business elsewhere and encourage them to look at the way they train their staff.

My son had grown his hair for over a year and repeatedly told them to only trim a little off the ends. They ended up cutting 6 inches off and didn’t really understand English. So used to churning clients in snd out that they don’t really listen to clients.Front desk lady Is also rude to guests.

When i looked online it showed 0 wait time and no appointments so i drove in 35 min before closing and the lady at the front had an attitude and said they were booked for the rest of the night when their was no one waiting in the room or any other people registered online when i checked again. bad service and will not be supported again

Very good service. I went there for the first time, upgrading from franchise barbers. I really felt the value in paying slightly more. Compared to other Stand alone saloons, this one is very economical. The staff is very friendly as well, the shop was clean.

Andy did my hair and cleaned up my face, she did a great job on both. She was funny to talk to and made the time fly past. I will definitely be back and book her again.

So this was my first barber shop experience and it was terrible. I walked in and showed my stylist a picture of what I wanted, she didn’t even take a good look at it and said “ no I can’t do that, that is not your type of hair”. But I specifically looked for a picture of someone who had my type hair before I walked in. Anyways she told me she could do something better, and I let her do her thing. She gave me a high fade but by my friends and family’s reactions she did a terrible job. She didn’t blend it so it goes from bald to long without any in between. The worst part was that I had to pay 35$ for this cut which was way too overpriced. Needless to say I recommend you spend your money elsewhere. Maybe I just got a unlucky with the stylist but I hope the owners can look at this as constructive criticism and improve there customer service in the future.

I use to take him to Sharkey’s near Stonebriar Mall and when that closed down during COVID ( and they never reopened) had to find another place . Love how easy it is to schedule appointments online . We never have to wait always seen right at our appointment time. The place is always very tidy, super clean and everyone is alway super nice . Definitely recommends his place !

I was able to setup an appointment online very easily. By looking at the customers walking out. I don’t think you can get a bad one. They all did phenomenal work I went in for a local hair cut and shave. Wasn’t disappointed when I left. The hair cut was the best I’ve received since moving here a year ago. The shave was top notch and didn’t have my normal razor burn or ingrown hairs afterwards. Would recommend anyone to try them out at least once.

Local Barber brings a clean and professional atmosphere with average haircut prices but stand out with well above average barbers/stylists. Theres no wondering whether or not youll get a hack job due to the quality of the staff.In my opinion, the best feature for working professionals as myself, is the ability to book online with your favorite barber. If I need to pop in I can simply log in and find an open slot that works with my schedule and see whos available. I wont be looking for another strip mall barber as long as I live in the great city of Frisco.

Don’t go here!!!! Decent place, cool look. Not happy with service. My son got a haircut (short hair) and liked it. So, I got my hair (long hair) cut there as well. I asked for 1/4 of an inch off the bottom. He cut off 2-3 inches. Also, how he cut it made the bottoms permanently curly. I don’t have curly hair!!! I now have to get another 3-4 inches cut off to fix this mistake! I will never go here again, and will never recommend it.I will drive all the way to Irving for my regular barber who has never messed up my hair.

This is one of the best places to get anything and everything done. Larry is a great guy, very down to earth and easy going. They have some very good stylist with great friendly attitudes. My favorite is Ashley. She is very experienced and quick but still takes time to get all my needs taken care of. I never feel rushed... Always a very relaxing experience.The prices a re extremely reasonable as well.Call and make your appointment or just show up. Soon. They get very busy on the weekends so appointment is best.. I usually go during the week and can get everything done on my lunch break.

Just moved to North Texas (Little Elm/Frisco) from the Houston area (Tomball). Down there, I had one barber for 21 years. So, I was *very leery/nervous* about finding a new barber. Did a Google search for barber shops near me and found this place. Reviews were very good, so I decided to give it a go. Needless to say, I batted .1000 because I found my go-to barber shop and stylist! Thanks to Riker for a great haircut. She asked what I wanted and did an awesome job. I will return and told my 18 year old son we found our place!

Love this place! My 4 year old son and I have gone here since its been open. We get half guard fades with a hard part and a little off the top. Everytime we go we are never disappointed. Larry the owner does a great job finding quality barbers/stylist and does an excellent job of taking care of his customers. The shop has TVs to keep you occupied and music that is just at the right level giving the place great vibes. I finally caught up with my long-lost hair stylist, Michelle the other day and can’t say enough about her new digs at Local Barber Co. Place is great. Very chill and relaxing. This place is really nice and they take great care of there customers. I get my haircut by Mindy. Mindy does an amazing job and is a blast to converse with. Appointments can be made using the online portal or via phone. I have used both methods and have never had any issues. The services I have used so far are the local haircut and the nose waxing. If you are in the market for a new barber than give Mindy a try.

Read the reviews and they all seemed great. I went in today, and left with a messy fade that was taken up way too high and a chunky scissor job on top. Pretty much can’t do anything with my hair until it grows out.

I went to have a fade and had never had a cut like that before. Bri was incredible, she assessed my hair to make sure that it would be a good style for me and asked me alot of questions regarding the specific lengths etc. This allowed her to make the perfect cuts. She explained everything in detail including the best products to use in order to achieve a great look. I will be going back often as I feel like I have found a great stylist and wonderful facility. I first tried calling to book an appointment and was asked to “hold for a second.” About 4 minutes later I figured I was forgotten about so I hung up and decided to try booking online. I thought this was a pretty cool feature so I booked a barber at my desired time.I arrived 10 minutes early and checked in. About 5 minutes after my appointment the guy at the counter told my barber that he was supposed to cut my hair, and not the guy who sat in his chair. He then asked me if I wanted to wait, or if someone else could cut my hair. I said, “Sure if you’ve got someone else available I’ll go with someone else. I don’t want to mess up everyone else’s appointment.”So I got another guy and he seemed rather disinterested in cutting my hair. He was talking more to the barber at the chair next to him and I noticed him not even looking at my head while he was using his clippers. At one point he mentioned that he’s still in barbers school (maybe a joke I’m not sure, but by the job he did it’s believable.)When he was finished I looked in the mirror and wasn’t thrilled with the job he did. But at first glance wasn’t so bad that I’d complain.When I got home I told my wife that I wished my usual barber could have fit me in before my cousin’s wedding. I brushed my hand through my head to show her my haircut and I noticed that the barber totally missed cutting large parts of the right side of my head. So I got back in my car and headed back to tell them I needed someone to fix my hair.I showed the guy at the counter (maybe the manager) that the barber missed a huge section of my head. He apologized and said they will have someone fix it for me and there would not be a charge to fix and he would refund my original haircut (which is the only reason I didn’t give 1 star.)I waited a couple minutes while another lady finished up with someone. She took a look at my hair and said that yes she was going to have to fix it.She did a great job, and I’m very happy with how she cut my hair. If I had I gotten her the first time I would definitely go back, but with the inconsistency from barber to barber I will never be back.
