This may have been the worst haircut I have ever gotten. I asked for a low fade and told her I did not want to change much and leave a good amount of length. The woman who cut my hair used a one on the entire back, sides and part of the top of my hair. I asked her to taper the back because I have a cowlick and she basically just shaved my hairline on my neck off. She did not seem to care what she was doing. She blended my hair terribly. When I got home I noticed she cut my skin. Horrible horrible service. Save yourself the humiliation and go somewhere else. You could probably cut your own hair better.

I tried to set up a quick beard trim and haircut before a family vacation. I booked an appointment for 11:45 am, when I arrived on time the front desk clerk told me that it was accidentally entered into their system for 10:15 am. Rather than apologize and fit me in despite me showing email and smile text proof of an 11:45 confirmation she told me she couldnt give me another appointment until 1:30 PM. When I then pressed and asked if she was really going to make me wait or come back 2 hours later for a 15 minute appointment she simply refused to be accommodating. Do not use this barber.

Very classy feel to the place. Nice leather furniture and stained wood throughout. Get here early and grab a complimentary beer before your appointment. Amber G is the best!

Stylists were rushed constantly checking their phones/watches to see how many minutes behind schedule they were. Great atmosphere but terrible quality. I expected a straight razor shave but got a cheap and fast buzzer cut. No hot towel, no massage, just as fast as you can. Another stylist even asked mine why she was fixing my hair the previous messed up (two stylists for hair and beard trim). Dont go. Check out brass tacks instead. Men cutting mens hair there.

I have been here multiple times and for some reason my barber thought it was OK if she removed her mask... it’s NOT OK right now. Also saw other barbers without masks which made me rather uncomfortable. Bad experience.

The hairdresser was an antivaxer who cut themselves and still put her fingers in my hair. The cut WAS good, but I can in no way recommend this place for safety.

This was my second time visiting The boardroom. Not only was I welcomed with a smile, but i was offered a complimentary drink. They have water, soda, and even a beer if youd like. My stylist Joyce was amazing. Not only was she professional, but she was kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. Throughout the whole cut, we were having conversation. About whatever we could think of. She knew how to cut. She made me look 5 years younger. My girlfriend definitely approved. I will ask for Joyce again once I inevitably return.

I have been here twice now. My first experience made me not want to go back. I cant remember who the stylist was but she smelled so strongly of cigarettes and did the same haircut I can get for $20 somewhere else.Now, I tried them again only because I had an email coupon, and this experience completely changed my mind. I made an appointment with Lacee and she made the visit remarkable. I do plan on going fairly regularly now, but only if I can work with Lacee as she is the reason I enjoyed my last visit. Be sure to ask for her if you want to be taken care of, it was a truly exceptional experience! Lacee alone earned this 5 star review, otherwise it wouldve been lower due to my first visit and I wouldnt be going back.

Youd be better off going to a sports clips type place. You get the same haircut (maybe even better), its a fraction of the cost and youll be treated better. This chain has no idea what customer service is and will eventually close its doors. Id bet money on that. Then their employees can go back to sports clips, or hooters, or wherever they crawled out from.

The worst head shave, trim i ever had for a 92 usd it should be more professional well taken care of, the experiance i had is so bad that I wish there is a zero stars for the review, had to many cuts as in attached, in shaving a hot towel should sit on head for a while to ease the experiance of shaving, applying it for a couple of seconds is not enough... total disapointment

Looking at the ambience and prices, I was expecting slightly better haircut than others like Great clips. However, it turned out to be lower quality than Great Clips or others.Firstly, the lady was in rush for her closing time. (I had an appointment from 4:30) and quickly gave me a haircut and beard trim. She was reasonably professional and at first the haircut looked well as well. However, I observed inconsistencies in my hair after going home. I also realized she did not even shave back of my neck neither did she show me my hair from the back. Moreover, the beard too was not worked on with required attention and had lot of inconsistencies below my chin.At the counter, as my credit card was being swiped, I asked if there was some offer for first time customers (I had already informed them this while booking an appointment) and only then they give me a pamphlet that tells I can get an upgrade on my next hair cut. Had I not asked them about this they would have never informed that to me. Regardless, I am not sure if I should use that or just give it away.

I brought my boyfriend here to spoil him, and he recieved the best service hes ever experienced. The Boardroom Salon provides a comfortable space for all of its clients. I felt like part of a family coming in here. Joyce cut my boyfriends hair and she kept a nice lively conversation to keep us both comfortable, she listened to what he wanted and delivered more than we expected. We will be coming back soon!

I have never had a negative experience at the Boardroom. If anything, its consistently the best experience I have with hairstyling and Im a picky customer. I prefer to wear my hair longer and finding a stylist who will keep it in style while also keeping it long is hard. Believe me, Ive been to enough salons to know that some stylists dont like to be told how to style, but at the Boardroom my hairstylist is Karie who knows that I prefer a cut using scissors and a consultation on length and which parts of my hair should be shorter and which can be longer. Sound exhausting? It is and thats why Im picky because I usually go for a cut and style every three to four months, so Ive certainly had a lot of time to think about it.At the Boardroom I get the Benchmark which is a haircut and style, a wonderful shampoo with hot towel, a hand massage and paraffin wax treatment and feeling a thousand times better. Karie also recommends various products and her recommendations have yet to disappoint. Heres how much I love this salon: at my last appointment I bought all of the spiced citrus beard wash and softener. I really did. I had threatened to do so on previous visits and there was enough stock to last at least a year, maybe more and I bought all of it. So I do apologize if you wanted spiced citrus beard wash and softener, but its mine now. All mine.If you are a man and looking for a quality salon, then I would recommend the Boardroom. For the range of services offered and the experience of those services, its worth it. I want to look good and feel good and I understand that comes at a cost, but the end result is worth the price and I am a returning customer for the past three years and I will continue to be a customer. If you dont believe me, then book an appointment and see for yourself.

Typically Im a really big fan of The Boardroom. But this visit was disappointing. I arrived early but had to wait 10 minutes past my appointment time to get called back. This ended up with the stylist having to ask if I would mind skipping the shampoo and wash so she could get back on track schedule wise. If I had been really happy with the end result of the haircut, this wouldnt have been such an issue, but even that was disappointing due to fading issues and a length consistency. I dont plan on returning to this location.

Great mens salon. Atmosphere reminds you of a dentist with wood floors and poop table. Stylists are friendly and the haircut was nice. Prices are slightly high but it is worth upgrading for all the extras!!!

Great spot for a fresh haircut and relaxing experience. Karie is the best. I moved out of Frisco, but always schedule an Express Cut or Benchmark when I am back to catch up with Karie and get spoiled by her above and beyond service. Got great value out of the membership while living in Frisco.

I have been using Karie for my haircuts for over two years now. She is always fun and deleivers a great cut/style depending on what I ask for. I always ask for the Benchmark because Karie does such an incredible job of massaging hands, scalp, arms etc. it’s a great service for the price, I always feel welcome there and enjoy chatting with Michelle out front while enjoying an adult beverage 😉. Great place and do not plan to stop going anytime soon.

The environment is nice and relaxing, but the quality of cut I feel is lacking. Compared to the cuts I’ve gotten at cowboy up this place falls short. The girls are cowboy up seem more personable too. I was very disappointed as I’ve heard great things about boardroom.

I admit that the actual set up was extremely nice and perfectly tailored to the average male as far as the design goes. The Lady who cut my hair was very professional and kind. The real problem though is that I ironically paid the most money Ive ever paid for one of the worst haircuts Ive ever received and at the end of the day all of the little perks in the world doesnt make up for a failure on the primary product. I would have asked for my money back but instead Ive just decided to find another place.I had originally given them a one star review but within 48 hours they called and asked how they could help fix the situation. I have to admit thats some good service so pending my next haircut their Ive given them 3 stars. People deserve a second chance.

Im a regular at this place. They do a decent job. If youre by appt and on time you wouldnt have to wait. A lot of places give you appointment but theyre essentially meaningless.

HERE IS THE ISSUE: I have been here twice now. The first time, they cut my hair very quick and from my initial reaction, very well. HOWEVER, I went home and noticed everything that was wrong with my hair. The edges over my ears were not trimmed, there were random long pieces of hair all throughout the sides and back, and they NEVER shave your neck; which is supposedly included in the express package. I blew this experience off as a fluke and as this lady mustve not been experienced. Thats not the case. She supposedly had 20+ years.Now, today I went back to give this place another chance. This time, Tammy cut my hair. Again, did not cut around my ears, random long hairs that I had to cut myself, did not shave my neck as paid for, and proceeded to tell me I was wrong in what I wanted. THEN, after washing my hair, gave me her card like she was confident it was a good haircut.I know what you guys are thinking.. This is just one review. It cant be that bad. Well, it is. The ONLY reason I went here (past tense Will not be back) is because this place is closer than my other barbershop. But my other barbershop is done by men who actually know how to cut mens hair and it was only 20 bucks.Guys, do yourself a favor. Your wives or girlfriends can do just as good a job without paying 50+ dollars. Stay home. Dont go here.

I rarely share constructive feedback however the end result of my husbands haircut warranted the following: the last two of three haircuts @ 50.00 each have been less than adequate. On both occasions he returned with the entire back hairline crooked. We felt it may have been a mistake and I corrected the initial cut to address the unevenness. Today he returned home and once again the same exact issue.I will update the review once I receive a call back from the owner because it appears the manager can not issue a refund until discussing the failed service with him.More to come.Late Sunday afternoon we were advised the owner would be in touch to discuss the haircut and issue a refund. As of today Monday / July 16, no response or refund issued.Update to the above mentioned:The owner contacted us and provided a refund for the service. We discussed the uneven haircut and agreed the feedback may provide an opportunity for a training conversation with staff and perhaps a lesson learned.

Great location! One of my favs. Im just a huge fan. Yes its a little expensive and pricy but its so nice to go in and walk right in. No long waiting hoping youre next. They always take great care of you and give me a good haircut. Before I found Boardroom, I just got buzzed everywhere I went no matter what. Staff is always helpful and friendly too. Got to try it!

I have been to this establishment a total of 3 times. On my second trip I purchased the basic membership for 6 months, which comes out to around $400 after taxes. Today I logged in online and made my appointment for 16:15 with barber, Jeanette. I was contacted by, I guess the manager or secretary, Michelle, about an hour later and told that, after I had made my appointment, a regular had called in and requested the same barber at the same time and that I needed to choose a different barber or different time. I honestly was confused by this, then later realized that I was being told that I was less important than the other customer because I was new. When I came in a spoke to Michelle and she was incredibly disrespectful with her wording, her tone and her body language. Add to the fact that she was dressed incredibly inappropriately for a high end eataestablish. When I told Michelle that I would appreciate that I not receive calls like that and how it made me feel she told me that she was sorry I felt that way (not sorry for doing it) and that from now on she would just move me without alerting me. A question I wish I had asked was, what if there were no other open appointments at that time slot, would I be out of luck because someone else had been coming there longer and they wanted my appointment? Seinfeld said it best, thats the pojpoof the reservation!Very dissatisfied and frankly disappointed.

Tuesday would have been my 4th or 5th appointment for a beard trim. I say “would have been,” because even though I had received a confirmation by text from Rich, my stylist, the girl at the front didn’t see me on the schedule.Customer service or common courtesy is a lost art. I told her I had the confirmation, she said I wasn’t on the schedule - Period.I said, “Do you want to go ask him, he’s right there.” No offer to check with him, or even to see if anyone else could take me. Just “No.”There were other people standing around oblivious to what was happening but I’m guessing it wasn’t their job.Non-existent customer service, just like me, I didn’t exist - I wasn’t on the Schedule.

Get my benchmark and beard trim done with Shelby. Relaxing atmosphere and I got exactly what I wanted. Have returned and will continue

Arrived 8 minutes before an 11am appt for a shave and foot grooming, it was a birthday gift from my wife and I was looking forward to it. Checked in at desk and the young lady said someone would be right with me, three clients came in after me and were immediately taken back, at 11:30 I decided I would try them another day, 30 minutes past a scheduled appt is to long.
