I have been to The Hanger Clinic twice and each visit was amazing. I was treated with respect by the highly trained associates. They showed empathy and tI felt that they really wanted to help assist me with my needs, which they did, without a doubt. I have had wrist braces for carpal tunnel and this last time, an Aspen Cervical collar. The associate will measure you for a perfect fit, show you how to put the braces on, and make sure you understand. For the collar, the associate put the collar on me and showed me how to do it. He explained that I would wake up from surgery with the collar on. He even gave me his business card in case I have any questions. To top it off, Hanger Clinic shows a video of a whale that doesnt have a tail, but they made the whale a prosthetic tail! This is certainly a dedicated group of professionals!

Its going on four weeks still waiting for my shoes

I took my friend there to be fitted for her neck collar she will need after surgery in July. Location is great. Very accessible for a wheelchair. Office staff & medical staff very nice & very helpful.

After 4 months, my dad could finally get his shoes. It was lots of hassle and so stressful process to go through all the paper work and lots of waiting, too. At least, the people at the clinic were always nice and my dad got a new pair of shoes. Hopefully I can find another clinic for his next one.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------It is IMPOSSIBLE to make an appointment with them through phone. They will not pick up the phone nor let you leave a voice message. Their answering machine is FULL and still, they want you to leave a message (Really?? Tell me how!). You can speak with an operator, but they are not the people make an appontment and they will take your message, but still, there will be NO calling back.What can you do? You can walk-in to their office and ask them, and they will request your PCP to sign papers and send back to them to MAKE an appointment. Seriously, it would be lot more convenient if they can just call you back and ask to do that through phone, but unfortunately, they will not do that. I feel really bad because my dad can’t walk well and he needed to come to the office to just to make an appointment. It is hilarious they told me “you could leave a message” when that’s what I had tried for last two weeks. If I had other option, I would not come to this clinic. Seriously, I cannot believe how they can operate a clinic this way.

I am totally disappointed with this office. Dwight ordered a my mom shoes over a year ago, benefits paid but still no shoes were received. They said they contacted us and the shoes were kept in the office for a year and we never responded. That was a lie and I have been given the run around every since. Ive since then found another clinic. Its really sad how they take advantage of seniors and how your medical benefits are being charged overpriced fees and costs, for some work that could done by anyone. Heck I could have purchased the same pair of shoes online for 60$ but they charge benefits for 800$. Wow big difference. Its sickening how they line their pockets taking advantage of others and lying to the patients as of we are dumb. Never again will I give business to Hangar Downey

Staff is professional and friendly, took my needs and opinions in making my prostetic. Baboo is th BEST!

I had the same issue just trying to make an appointment. Every time I called, the answering service picked up. All I could do was leave a message. So, what I did was to go to their website & use their contact form. I voiced my concern about not being able to make an appointment for a week while sitting with a prosthetic leg I was unable to wear. Got a call back first thing the following morning. Still had to wait an additional week to be seen.Ive been a patient there for several years. Everyone there is really nice, although I was unhappy with my prosthetist. She eventually left & the guy I work with now is awesome.

They helped my son get his braces. They are nice, kind, and friendly!! We recommend ORTHODOTICS of Downey 😀😉

Just trying to get thru is impossible. The phone service answers most of the time regardless of what time it is. Horrible customer service. Kaiser should not be doing business with this company, Hanger Clinic. I rate it -1

I called twice and no one returned my calls, then finally the third time I got a hold of someone. I have to wait almost two weeks to get a walking boot, so I am suppose to just be hanging out with a broken ankle until then apparently.

This is the worst place to make an appointment, I have been call for also 3 weeks,I HAVE PLAYING PHONE TAGS, with this company….. if you don’t want my BUSINESS LET ME KNOW
