My second and last visit was on June 5th. As someone who only gets my nails done once or twice a year for special occasions, I was looking forward to pampering myself with gel nails. This appointment was deeply disappointing. I asked for a French manicur which took about two hours. The man doing my nails was friendly but kept messing up and streaking the white tips throughout my nail beds. He literally had to redo all my nails. He also switched the base polish for the top polish. When I left the white tips were already exposing my natural nail tips, making my nails look well over grown. All my fingers had smudges. It was a laughable job and I was still charged almost $40. Later I noticed the gel polish was over hanging on my skin on 2 or 3 of my nails. With my party being the following day and already wasting two hours at this nail salon I did not find it appropriate to go back. My nails are embarrassing. If I could go back in time and skip this whole experience I would.

I got my acrylics removed and just regular nail polish put on. I called as soon as they opened and took me right away when I arrived. Lee did such a beautiful job considering the condition my nails were in when I got there. He’s very personable and does a great job, thank you so much.

I adore JJ Nails.. staff is friendly, helpful, they do my nails and eyebrows nicely. Ive been going regularly 3 months now. If you dont like something, just let them know and they will fix it right away!

Literally the best set of nails Ive ever gotten! My second visit, first was just for a polish change. Took a lot of extra time, probably double what Im used to, but the finished product is beautiful. Clean shop. Friendly and family owned. Giant selection of colors. My new favorite nail salon!

I finely tried this place out and it is fantastic. Reasonable prices and the young lady who did my pedi/ man (3 times)was awesome. They definitely pamper you . My powder dip nails made it more than 2 weeks. Highly recommend!

Very friendly and funny only when theyre not busy and want your business otherwise they wont give you a second of their precious attention. I have to say that Mike had done an excellent job on my nails but when I went back he didnt bother even looking at me or talking to me to schedule something with him. The other person was actually translating for me. I felt bad for the other guy but I didnt want to give them my business so I walked out.

I went to JJ Nails to get my nails done for the first time in a long time due to the overwhelming good reviews. I am not picky and do not consider myself to be judgmental. I overlooked the fact that the nail salon is located in a rinky dinky shopping plaza and I couldn’t communicate well with the employees. All the reviews stated that the staff was super friendly. I did not find them friendly or welcoming. When I called to set up an appointment, the man on the phone sounded rushed and annoyed. I almost decided to not go just because of that. Due to the reviews, I encouraged myself to go. I wish I could go back in time! When I walked in at 2:45 pm for my 3:00 pm appointment, a woman asked me what my appointment was for. When I stated powder dip manicure, she sighed and instructed me to sit down in a chair. A minute later a man comes over and tells me to move over to his station. This man was obviously sick with a runny nose and was sneezing. He put a mask on. I SHOULD HAVE LEFT. I didn’t, “the wonderful reviews” made me stay. The station was dirty (white powder, from filing other peoples nails). The man began to use a tool that smoothed my nail bed and he picked the head of the drill from a dirty little black box filled with white powder that was obviously from other people’s nails. Great! As he was drilling, he kept touching the edge of skin that connects to my nail bed. It hurt, A LOT. He knew, he kept apologizing. He later said that I have small nails. I don’t. He cut me in 3 separate areas that made me bleed (hurt like hell when I sanitized my hands when I was finally in the safety of my car). He kept dropping his brush tool on the floor and would use his finger nails to clean my own nails of excess product. The powder dip design I asked for was French. This is the worst French I have EVER had done. Why it was a disaster: (1) the lines where the white tip met the pink were not defined and were smudgy, (2) my nail bed was rough and bumpy with AIR BUBBLES everywhere, (3) there was black debris stuck on several nails, (4) half an hour later, I can feel both thumb polishes were lifting and causing uncomfortable pressure in the entire nail bed, as I write this review 4 hours later it has worsened, and I can now feel uncomfortable pressure in ALL of my fingernails, (5) one nail had a huge white smudge (can see pictured as my ring finger) and another nail had a smudge when it was touched by the guys hand, not by me, (6) my nails had debris underneath my fingertips and my fingers looked super dry, and (7) the white tip is sheer. This mess cost me a 40-minute drive to and from home and an hour and 5 minutes of pain and helplessness due to the language barrier. The customer service was nothing to rant about. I was charged $40. The Kiara Sky Powder Dip set box cost $99.99 (the box was set right next to me, I could see the price sticker, they kept it on the ground behind the desk). The service and product was disgusting and overpriced. Please ignore these wonderful reviews. This place is not sanitary and did a terrible job on my nails. This has been a traumatizing experience!

The shop is very clean. Prices are awesome! But most important, the couple that owns it are very humble, gracious, and freaking AWESOME! That was my first time there. I felt extremely comfortable, he did my nails and she did my brows. Everything was excellent. I had to bring my daughter and he even did her nails while I was getting my brows done. He used all sterile tool fresh out of a sealed bag. I couldn’t have been happier being able to stumble on this hidden gem.

This is the third tome I walked in with a reservation only to wait another half hourWhT a waste of my time

Scheduled to open at 0900, the door was propped open at 0850 and I wandered in to see a customer already being served. Susan, immediately welcomed me and asked me what I wanted to have done. About 5 minutes later, I was in a comfortable, massage chair and my feet were submerged in nice warm, aqua blue water. The tubs are all covered in a plastic wrap and changed, and tubs cleaned for each customer. I witnessed this. Very clean nail salon, very observant and pleasant staff. At the most, there were 4 of us being worked on. Susan did my pedicure and was very nice, asked where I was from and appreciated that I was told this was the best nail salon in the area. Ill definitely return!!!

I have been coming to this family owned nail salon for over a year now. I have never been disappointed. The owners, John and Susan, go out of their way to make you feel welcome and they remember you. Susan always asks about my family. Today I had a Pedicure and Manicure and would upload pictures but cant seem to figure out how.Their son works there also and all three are skilled technicians. The salon is always clean and tools are properly maintained for cleanliness. During season they are very busy so you might want to make an appointment to avoid wait times. Walk-ins are always welcome and they do their best to give you accurate wait time. I highly recommend this business.

I have been going here for the last year and a half, so glad I found this nail salon! Everyone is extremely friendly, and you are remembered and greeted when you walk in the door. The salon is clean, they pull out a sealed packet with manicure instruments for each customer, and they maintain clean technique when they provide service. The pedicure is the best, they give you those little extra touches, sugar scrub, gel massage, warm towels and lotion massage. They have plenty of colors to choose from and types of polish. The prices are comparable to other nail salons in the area.

I love absolutely this placeMy daughter and I went here after having a bad experience in Naples... We both left very happy. Since then, I have been coming back and never left unhappy. Susan did a wonderful job on my nails. She went above and beyond to make sure they looked awesome. And because I work in a restaurant, my nail polish doesnt always hold up well, as I wash my hands ... ALOT! So she did them in a way that the color wont wear off. Not sure exactly what it was, but they look great! Id give 10 stars if I could. They always make you feel welcome here, and they remember you. To me, thats a huge plus.

So I brought my daughter to get her nails done a few weeks ago to 5 star nails and they were horrible and the girl they did her nails burned her fingers and they looked horrible and one broke as soon as she got in the car...so we went to JJ’s to fix the nails and the owner did a great job and she is very sweet. I just brought her back today to get them filled and she did a great job again and my daughter absolutely loves the job she did. I will only bring her here from now on! I have been to many of the nails salons in the area and this is the best one by far. The entire staff is super friendly and easy to work with. They are very accommodating and strive to give you exactly what you want. Ive been to other places that have shaped my nails differently than I wanted based on what was trending instead of what I requested, but the people here listen to what you want instead of assuming, which I genuinely appreciated. The prices are good and you can tell they sincerely appreciate your business. Overall the atmosphere and the work is excellent. Its rare that I have to wait but even if I did, it is always worth it.

Clean, polite and reasonable

I love coming here. They are so friendly. There is always a steady stream of clients but I never feel like I am waiting for long. They have done some of the best shaped nails I have had in a long time. Also.. You will find all the latest trends in polish design and dips.. I am currently sporting the Tigerseye polish.. People just stop and take my hand to look.. I feel special while I am there.. And even after I leave.. 5 stars! I will post pics on Google maps.. My go to Salon from now on!

Best hidden secret in NFM. Went there last night and had the best experience ever. Had my nails done by the husband and the wife did my brows. Very affordable prices and again I can’t tell you how wonderful they were. I came in a 6 and they didn’t turn me down, knowing that what I wanted would be done well after they close.

I am 48 years old and this is the 2nd time that I have eve had my nails done in my entire life. Never did my nails because I had them done for my wedding many years ago and I couldnt do anything with them. Hated them because they were thick. They recommended a DIP! This stuff is AWESOME!!!! Its been over 2 1/2 weeks and they are not chipping and are in excellent shape. This is impressive because I have a very physical job and use my hands constantly. I will definitely be doing this again They are thinner and I can do anything with them. They are FANTASTIC

Mani-Pedi is wonderful-I love the massage chairs, the variety of colors, the extra time spent getting those ingrown nails, the leg massage, the exfoliating of dead skin-and the attention to detail in the application of the polish. John usually does my pedicure-and I consider it a treat! Everyone there is friendly and asks after my family-and my daughter always makes time to come here when she visits me. Let me just say that yes, the mall this is located in has a little to be desired, but the staff was absolutely fantastic, positive, and joyful. I had no problem communicating with anyone and my nails came out FLAWLESS. They even helped support my breaking nails with a new half-acrylic blend that saved me all the trouble Id had with weakness for no extra charge. Price was super fair and I was treated so kindly. I have needed to get my nails done weekly from worse competiton but they listened to my issues, addressed them, and with wonderful attitudes. I am from Minnesota but any time I am ever in this area its an honor to be treated by this fantastic establishment. I have never been happier!

Just moved to Florida a little over a week ago. I researched and read reviews for local nail salons. I had the same person doing my nails in Pennsylvania for the last 10 years so I thought it was going to be hard to find someone I would like as much. Susan was great, the salon clean and the staff very friendly. JJ Nails was perfect, I have found a new home.
