Love Indulgence Salon!! Our family (myself, husband, 2 teen boys) goes to Maritza and Johanna for our hairstyle needs. I would recommend ANY of the staff. Going to the salon is a highlight of my month! Everyone is so friendly, make you feel like you are #1, as well as make you beautiful. Highly recommend giving them a try!
Best haircut of my life! Joanna was easy to talk to, and she also made it easy to just close my eyes and chill. She also gave me romantic loose curls on my wedding day. Highly recommend!
Thank you Maritza for taking good care of my wifes hair!!!!! Her hair is very thick, long, and very hard to manage, but you work miracles in her hair. There has never been a time that She was not happy when she has gotten back from your salon and She raves about you to all our family and friends. Happy wife, happy life right? Keep up the good work and from my wife and I, thank you very much Maritza and we will see you soon!
Spectacular! Exceptional service that brings me back repeatedly. The staff interaction is hilarious. Make sure to have have Jay do your wash (damn good) and Jen the cut & color - fantastic!

Maritza gave me a Deva Cut that I was absolutely happy with. She knew what she was doing, was super friendly and took care of my hair like it needed it. I highly recommend her. :)
Amazing salon with amazing workers, Ive been going to Maritza since I was in middle school and Ive seen the growth and success of this salon, every worker there is so talented and knows exactly what theyre doing. A+
Worst experience. I came in for the Keratin treatment and the woman who did my hair didnt know a damn thing about it. it was extremely uncomfortable to bear. she kept pulling on my hair that it even made my eyes tear. by the time she was finally done my hair looked like the end of a broom stick. she told me to wash it off when I arrive home. I was so embarrassed to leave the salon so I asked them to remove the product to see if it had worked. My hair didnt look any different and I was extremely upset to have had to pay for a service that was that horrible. I came back to speak with a manager a day later and they did nothing to correct it or make it right. I will never step foot in that salon again.
If you want to keep your long hair PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!I went to Indulgence Salon on a recommendation to have the DevaCut. Maritza was adorable with her short purple curls, very nice, very personable, has lots of certifications on the wall...blah blah blah. When she sat me in her chair she commented on how long my hair was, and the very first thing I said was that I dont want much of my length gone. I told her Id be OK with it being 2-3 shorter than it was, so she suggested we just trim the length and add some layers. I reiterated that I did not want my hair to be too short, and explained to her the problems Ive had in the past. I know my hair isnt easy to do, its been on my head for 35 years so Im fully aware, so being this was the first time we had met I took some time and explained it all to her. Shes no dummy, she immediately noticed the two different textures, assured me again that she was just trimming the ends and adding some layers. I felt comfortable with what she was saying and allowed her to continue. If youve never had a DevaCut (which I hadnt), you wouldnt know that youre asked to come into the salon with clean hair; meaning freshly washed and NO product. The purpose of going into the salon with NO product is so the stylist can see the natural curl pattern of the hair. I did what was asked, and when I got to the salon she proceeded to brush (with her fingers) whatever little amount of curl was in my hair into a frizzy, kinky mess. There was absolutely no possible way she could see a curl pattern, simply because there was ZERO CURL left. She proceeded to cut layers into my hair, no differently than my normal (trusted) stylist has done for years.Once the cut was done, she washed/conditioned my hair with DevaCurl products, then styled my hair with DevaCurl and Loma products. I was put under the dryer for 20ish minutes and then she diffused my hair with the DevaCurl blow dryer and hand attachment. She highly recommended the blow dryer and diffuser attachment, saying it was well worth the money ($179ish) because the hand gets into the roots and really lifts the hair. Unfortunately she never used it the way she described it, instead she held the blow dryer in one hand (not touching my hair with it) and used her other hand to move the hair around. There is NOTHING wrong with how she dried my hair, its what I always do at home, but it would have been nice to see how this product she recommended so highly actually worked. When all was said and done, she stepped back and looked at my hair. She didnt look satisfied with the way it looked, saying something about different textures, added more product, and asked if I wanted her to cut more. Ummmm...NOT A CHANCE IN HELL. My hair was easily 7 shorter than it was when I had arrived and Id lost any trust I had, so I didnt want scissors anywhere near my head. I paid my bill and left. To add insult to injury, when I got home I noticed it was UNEVEN!!!!TO BE FAIR: the purpose of the DevaSet (the wash/condition/style) is to accentuate the curls, therefore making them bounce up which will cause the hair to appear shorter. I knew this going in, but I never expected my hair to be a good 7 shorter when I walked out of that salon. In retrospect, I wish I would have had the DevaSet first, and then let her cut my hair dry. Ultimately, I think the shock of seeing my hair SO SHORT is what ruined the whole thing for me.Overall...the cut was absolutely nothing out of the ordinary, any competent stylist could have done what she did. In my opinion, just because my hair was cut while it was dry doesnt make it a special cut. YES...my hair does look healthier, and aside from it being uneven the curl does look nice, I cannot and will not deny that much.It is very possible that when I wash/condition/dry/style my hair the way I normally do, that I might be happier, and if that is the case I will add a note to this review.
The worst color/highlight Ive ever had. And they charged $60. more than any salon Ive been to.
Great work
