My manicurist has never spoke to me. He speaks in his native tongue. He laughs with them and they all speak togetherI will make a change very soonI never enjoy spending my money thereThe girls speak to clients but Kenvin does NOTTheir work is just ok
Clients expect and deserve a relaxing session during a service at a salon. My experience getting a gel fill was anything but that. Did I need to explain to the operator, Justin, who just kept SCOLDING me to relax my hands, that my son recently died or that I had just come from the hospital after a heart operation and relaxation was difficult? He continued to SCOLD me again--saying he might not do my nails again because they were giving him too much work! To add to that, his remarks in another language had his operator laughing and I felt like the butt of the joke. Throughout the session, I bit my lip to remain quiet at what was an uncomfortable experience with a rude operator. Now, just two weeks and $65 later, every single nail has begun to lift. I will not be going back to Upscale Nails again for another discourteous session with a condescending, discourteous operator.
Completely unprofessional and rude manager. Pedicure was so not worth it, didnt even touch the bottom of my feet. Everything was 10 dollars more. I asked what is included in my 25 dollar pedicure and she couldnt even answer and basically just did a nail polish change in water. Manager again is extremely rude. Dont count on a refund or an apology of any sort. Not even worth 5 dollars. Upscale, more like downscale!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Went in for full set, few misunderstandings on both sides. But the artist didnt apply the material nor nail paint fully across my nail. Lopsided doesnt look good, and they filed my sides way more in than they should have. Even after I said no to some of the grooming because it hurts me, they still insisted.
I had a neutral experience. It wasnt awful, but it wasnt relaxing in the slightest. I paid $13 to have a basic manicure with regular polish, which is what I get everywhere I go. I have natural nails and I do not like gel polish. I went on my lunchbreak and they were able to get me in and out in under an hour. Sadly, their manicure apparently does not come with the short hand massage or any lotion, so I cannot wait to get home from work and get to wash and lotion my hands. As said in previous reviews, my manicurist was yelling across the salon to coworkers. I was taking my time picking a color as I am very picky and I was rushed to hurry up. I will just spend an extra $10 from now on and go elsewhere. Not worth using my lunch break.
Phenomenal service, extremely detailed & clean
I am here on vacation and I had to get a set of nails put on. My mother gets her nails done here and just raved about Justin. Well I went today and I LOVE my gel nails. Very professional and priced reasonable
Terrible. She forced me to get gels when I asked for acrylics -no shellac then charged me $40.00 for a fill. Ill NEVER go back. A fill should be $17-$20. Shes a scammer....short dark hair, shorter in the back, long angled toward the front with highlights. She says, oh, no, no one wants to sit and let their nails dry....this dry right away Screw you....for $20 difference - Ill sit and let my nails dry
The girl who did my nails was so loud - yelling across the salon to a coworker nonstop, not relaxing at all. She was aggressive with the pedicure, cut my nails to short and hurt me throughout the entire process. Best Nails down the street is far better for your money.
Terrible quality and not worth the price. Unprofessional staff.
Im not satisfied with the quality of manicure and pedicure I received in your salon. And I want to get my money back for nail polish covering. I dont have any issues with the rest like scrubbing, cuticle cutting and massaging. But nail polish and gel!!!! Omg! Its the worst quality I ever had. It doesnt look like professional job. Sad I didnt have time to argue about that when I realized how bad it looks like. I was in a rush. The cuticles on both hands are covering with gel. Gel contours are uneven what makes it look really bad especially with light nail polish. Same to my feet but with regular nail polish. The nail polish I chose for pedi was dry and the guy had to put the acetone in it.
Have been going there for years and have always had the best service and best nails and pedicures ever. Highly recommend!!!
Because my nails came off within a week.
