Its OK for a quick meal. The cocktails seem watered down. This place was much better with live bands. Hopefully it gets back there someday.

I loved the experience the first time I went here and I had Lauren. However, this time was terrible. I had a different hairdresser that was not sociable whatsoever and was rude. When I called to place the appointment, I asked for a straightening and the woman did not ask me what kind (I was unaware of the different types of straightening, but I would have gotten the chemical if she would have asked). The hairdresser asked me what I was there for, which I thought was unusual because she should have known beforehand that I was getting my hair straightened. Then, she just used a flat iron and did not do a chemical straightening or even offer to chemically straighten my hair. Although it looks good, this straight hair wont last more than two or three days. Very disappointed.

Alex is literally THE BEST! She has been doing my hair for as long as I can remember! She is professional and very knowledgeable with her colors and products! She’s always able to answer my questions and give me good product suggestions for me hair needs! She makes me feel FLAWLESS every single time!

The stylist was running VERY late. Before we left because we were tired of waiting (my daughter stayed in the car and I finally went inside), she said she would take $25 off and we could reschedule. I told her the price I was quoted over the phone (I was very detailed in describing my daughters hair). She mentioned a price that was over double what we were quoted. She never even saw my daughters hair in person. We will never come back.

When I moved to TX about a year ago I was struggling to find a salon and stylist that I liked until I met Alex at Cloud 9. Alex is amazing! She does a great job with my hair color and cut. I always leave the salon happy with the job Alex did. Thank you!!

I lost my hairdresser a couple of years ago and since have been bouncing from one bad haircut to the next :( This time I was determined to find someone to trust. I came to Cloud 9 after I had a terrible accident with my blow dryer that resulted in major inches taken off my hair. I was referred to Danette and she did a wonderful job! My hair was past my shoulders and I needed a short cut because of my blow dryer incident. Cloud 9 is such a treat for anyone who wants to go somewhere to relax and be pampered in a beautiful atmosphere. I have always received a beautiful cut and color from anyone there. My go to person is Shelby Crawford but if I need to get an appointment immediately she is great to accommodate by either fitting me in or recommending other stylists. I love that! The products are amazing too! Especially the Blueberry Root shampoo for blondes. Nothing comes close to keeping the brassy undertones away as well as keeping your hair soft.

For the last 12 years, I have been driving from Parker County to Highland Village to continue my hair services.When I first moved to Parker County, I did try several local stylists to try to find a new hair home. While I met many great people, no one could match the quality and value I received at Cloud 9.I always receive compliments on my hair from friends and strangers after I have been to Cloud 9 when I never have after going to a local place.I have used the services of many of the stylists over the 25 years, although I see the owners Kim and Nathan most frequently. I have been going to Cloud9 for nearly 15 years now. I have mainly seen Nathan, it have also seen other stylists when scheduling mandated. In addition I trusted them to recommend one of the makeup artist in residence at Cloud9 for my wedding and Taylor was wonderful. Kim and Nathan surround themselves with wonderful people who care about their customers, charge more than fair prices, and work in a beautiful location. I still will drive 45+ minutes from Richardson for all of the reasons listed above. Trust me, I don’t stick with much for 15 years, but Cloud9 I have.

Had a last minute Saturday appointment with Paige where I wanted fresh color and a new cut. Oh my goodness, she is an artist with angel hands. I loved how she listened and worked with me to capture my “vision” (I am not a hair person but I do use Pinterest so yeah). Cloud 9 is super clean, everyone is friendly, and the services/stylists are top notch. I was nervous to look for a new stylist when I moved to the area in 2015 because I had been with the same girl all through college but Casie Epperson came highly recommended and finding her was a god-send!! She’s knowledgeable, professional, FUN, and always makes my hair look and feel wonderful. I convinced my husband to leave the Great Clips vortex of doom 2years ago to start going to Casie and his hair has never looked better. Our 3year old little girl also loves going to “Miss Casie” for her haircuts now. Seriously, I’d give Cloud 9 way more than 5 stars if possible simply for having such a great stylist like her there!! 😃

I received a Brazilian Blowout by the owner of the salon Kim Cloud Skidmore. It was a great experience, salon was exceptionally clean, respectful social distancing and mask being worn, as well as following guidelines to keep the levels of people at a safe number. On top of that my service was so enjoyable and my hair looks terrific. I also found the price extremely reasonable and felt totally pampered. I highly recommend if you are in the area (or not), give Cloud 9 a try.

I am beyond impressed with Cloud 9 Salon and Spa! I made an appointment for some much needed hair attention & color. Upon entering the salon, they provided sanitizer and did a temperature check to help ensure the safety of their stylists and guest. Even with this protocol, nothing felt uncomfortable.I was immediately taken to my stylist’s station which had been freshly sprayed and wiped down. I really loved that even though we were all wearing masks and things are obviously a bit different right now, the vibe was quite relaxing and I could still see the smiling eyes of other clients and stylists as they walked past. My stylist, Jen Coffin, brought over Kim, who is also a stylist as well as the owner, for a quick color consult. They helped me decide what would be best for my color situation and I could not be happier! The color is amazing!!! It’s exactly what I wanted! I feel like pricing is absolutely on point. I have thick and medium to long length hair so I’ve had plenty of places do significant upcharges. I was happy to pay such a reasonable price for such outstanding service, talent, and care! My stylist, Nathan, is always on time, lets me know what is new in styles, products and was even at the starting line of the feather trend, back in 2010! He takes time to consult and make recommendations about my haircut, color and length, but, more important-he does a great job and I can’t recommend Cloud 9 and Nathan enough!

Looked forward to highlight and cut at 11:30 and they called and said that the stylist was running half hour behind (Pam). I accepted later time and arrived on time and was asked to sit outside (cold and rainy). I watched 4 people leave and finally went back inside and they didn’t have any idea who I was. Receptionist checked on Pam and she was on the phone. After waiting 50 minutes for Pam (part of that time outside), I just left.DO NOT GO TO THIS SALON! Peter is fabulous! In less than 1 hour he won the business of my entire family and my friend ended up booking an appointment for the following week with him. He looks at his profession as art! He takes into consideration first the personality of the client then the face shape and skin and eye color before suggesting styles and colors to complement you and make you feel confident. He said the confidence does not necessarily come from the hair color and style that will look good on you but how comfortable you are with the change that brings about the confidence. I primarily see the salon for cut and hair color processing. They are on the cutting edge and still incredibly personal and caring. I cannot recommend enough!

Peter has been doing my cut and color for a few months now, and I’m consistently happy with everything! I first went to him for a blowout then ended up booking a future appointment as well as an appointment for my daughter. She loves the highlights he does for her! Peter listens to what we want and sometimes makes suggestions for things we might want to try. He’s fine with whatever we decide to do, and he makes sure we’re happy when we leave. So glad I found him!

I received the worst color job here I now have a LARGE spot of blonde in my hair in the back, as well as a poor haircut with it. At first I was just upset about the cut (but hair grows) but then I saw this spot at the top back of my hair while styling it and I just cant let this go unheard. Not to mention I was charged WAY more than I was expecting.. just save your money.

Tay did great making my hair look and feel fuller. She was super nice to talk to while she gave my probably my most favorite haircut ever and I received no judgement on the diy state of my hair.

I just have to give props to Brittany Brewer as she is such a great stylist. She has done my hair for years and she takes her time to listen to what you want. She also is so knowledgeable about hair products and what works best for your hair texture. My experience at Cloud 9 Salon with Brittany Brewer was completely terrible and uncomfortable. Honestly, i would not recommend her unless you want to be treated like a complete inconvenience to HER time (even though I scheduled an appointment and she rescheduled for more time to do what I wanted to be done to my hair). I felt so uncomfortable with her from the moment I sat in her chair and she was glaring at me and trying to talk me out of what I wanted to do to my hair. She even kept raising the price, I guess hoping I would say thats too much and leave. The whole time was completely uncomfortable and her attitude was terrible to the point of being mean and rude to the customer, since I wanted to proceed regardless of cost. She rushed through my hair and got upset when I told her I wanted to her to redo it and fix it. Tired to even blame me. She doesnt know her colors or how they will mix or react with hair, even though I called and asked for the most experienced and knowledgeable in these types of hair colors. They recommended me to her, then when I got nervous and ask her how many she had done, she replied back with a few. To top it all off, she didnt even finish her job, sent me home in a hair net with dye still in my hair to wash out when I got home. And thanks, after that I spend the next two days bleaching my bathtub. She didnt even finish her job or offer to have someone finish it for her since she was so concerned with the time....terrible customer service. I felt as though I was being punished and treated badly because I wanted to do something fun for me and my hair and it inconvenienced her because she didnt want to do it, even though we had an appointment to do this.

I had a wonderful experience when April Linex cut and highlighted my hair. Ive always had thin, baby fine hair and never really knew what cut would be best for me. Not only did she give me a cut that made my hair feel and look thicker, she recommended products that work great for my hair type. The highlights were spot on and I recommend anyone whos needing a new stylist to go to Cloud 9 Salon and ask for her. You wont be disappointed.

I drive from southwest Fort Worth to see my stylist Patti L. Im always pleased with the color and cut that she provides. At my last appointment, we tried a new process on my hair called Glycolic by Keratin Complex. I have frizzy hair and Patti recommended the treatment to help control the frizz in my curls. I love it!!!! It has been about six weeks and my hair is still responding to the treatment. I highly recommend this salon and I definitely recommend my stylist Patti.

The location is very well organized, offering an array of different services and gifts. The hairstylists are all independent contractors, and are able to determine and set their own prices for their work. My hairstylist, Dixie, was very friendly and knowledgeable, I would visit again.

I LOVE my stylist, I even followed her from another salon. However, I feel the front desk here could use some improvement. I am rarely greeted when I arrive, and have to stand at the desk and stare at one of the people there to get acknowledged. Some of the ladies are a bit unfriendly. Once they never even told my stylist I was there after i checked in. Now, I dont even bother trying, I just text my stylist when I arrive. I like to think Im a valued customer; fortunately my stylist treats me that way.

I have been going to Cloud 9 for over 2 years now...Brittany Brewer has been doing my hair since day one there and I have never had a bad haircut or color. I have referred SEVERAL people to her, including my daughter (she thinks Brit walks on water). Some time ago, one of my students gave me a $200 gift card to another salon in Highland Village, so I finally used it - the other salon was overpriced and my haircolor was short lasting. The cut was just OK. Already looking forward to going back to Brittany, where I always walk out feeling fantastic. Bonus - shes just a great person!!!
