Clean Gym showers and restrooms the management is a lot better then beforei have seen a lot of improvement with painting and repairs as well as new soap dispensers in the restroomsNew dumb bell set yoga mats and jump ropesAlso the guy who cleans at night is always making sure everything is stocked upif he is not cleaning something or shampooing the carpet he is fixing something around the gym i saw him last week fixing the water fountain the filter light was not working for a long time.He is not much of a talker but is very nice and will answer you if you have any questions.Other then that i love this Anytime fitness and the Friendly staff

Gym is well kept, very clean, and obviously well-managed. I have had the use of this gym for a one month period. it was a very positive experience. Only a little bit of grunting and weight slamming but otherwise courteous and thoughtful clientele.

A nice Anytime Fitness. I have been to over 100 locations. I appreciate the Olympic lifting platform and how much floor space the gym has. I appreciate the options to do dips also. They could have soap in the shower room because the floor will get wet as those of us who forgot to bring it will undoubtedly go to the sink dispenser mid-shower to get suds. But they do have a generous water heater that dispense HOT water. Flagstaff you’ve got a solid anytime fitness!

Top Notch is an understatement! Jimmy has this place shining and ready for yall to workout .. 💪 I travel the country and this is my favorite club of all Ive been to. Stop in burn some calories and be amazed how clean this place is.. Great classes offered too.. Overall A+ guys great gym 🏋

It’s a nice gym for a starter. I have lifted for some time and NOT to say it’s poorly equipped it’s just small. When rush hour hits it gets crowded. I’ve never had any problems with the equipment I just prefer bigger gyms with a lot more available plates “45s”. It’s been kept clean to say the least.

Great basic gym. No frills, but I’m ok with that. I like that I can come in anytime and it’s not busy.

Good gym. Costs 5x as much as Planet Fitness across town. Is it 5x better? In my opinion, yes.

Horrible customer service - Been trying to contact for over a month, leaving about 6 messages for a call back with no response. Was told to send in my key fob with a written request to cancel my membership. Key fob sent but membership is still active and staff will not call back. Now I received an email saying that my home club was changed to San Tan Valley location and dues still being withdrawn. Should not have happened if canceled as requested. Cant get a response from Flagstaff staff to resolve.

Tried to contact office for weeks to get out of membership. Contacting corporate didnt do anything either. Ended up canceling my bank account.

Classic AF experience. Machines, free weights, cardio. On the smaller side, but thats about what I expect out of these gyms.

I would not recommend this gym to anyone. If you ever have an issue with your account, you will not be able to get in contact with anyone who works at the club. I have been trying to get an issue with my account resolved for over two weeks with no response from the club. I have called, I have left messages and I have emailed. No one cares to respond. Very disappointing customer service.

Theyve sent me to debt collectors twice for a cancelled membership. Dont go here. Ever.

Honestly do not waste your time or money here. I have been billed twice during this pandemic for months that the gym was closed for and their facilities were inaccessible. I just went into the store during their specified business time, and there was not one staff member to help me quit my number ship, since this has to be done in person and cannot he done over the phone or e-mail. Not that that would be much of a help, i have called numerous times now, and each time i get the voicemail from I’m assuming the owner, but after his speech is given, there is no voice tone or “beep” to leave any kind ofMessage at all. Nor do they answer their emails. Extremely disappointing. I’m not one to leave negative reviews, but seriously, if you’re thinking about joining, don’t. It’s not worth the hassle.

The customer service at this Anytime Fitness is horrible! I understand they are closed due to the pandemic, but you cant even leave a voicemail. I emailed about a billing issue complaint. They took a week to get back to me. Said they would look into it and get back to me. Havent heard anything in 3 weeks. Twice now they have billed me during the pandemic when I have only had access to the club for 2-5 of my billing cycle. I would be okay if they charged me a prorated amount of the monthly dues, but I cant even talk to anyone about it. When our contract says we get access to the club 24/7, 365, they should not be charging for the entire month when you only get access to the club for 2 days. Maybe Im wrong and they can. But once again their customer service is absolutely HORRIBLE!

This place is not clean, at all. Being so close to campus, I gave the free week membership a shot...I went once. The bathrooms are disgusting, there is no ventilation and it’s not clean. The sanitizing spray bottles have just water in them for christ sake...I don’t feel like getting Covid, so no thanks.

Pretty decent anytime fitness overall. Lately however it seems that a lot of the machines are out of order. Staff is friendly and willing to help. They offer a variety of great classes for free. Price isnt too bad per month

I emailed Anytime Fitness to cancel my membership. During this process, I had to follow-up a couple of times to recieve confirmation that my membership was canceled. Very recently, I noticed that I was charged for a membership fee, even though I recieved by email that my membership was canceled. I called the main company that collects the membership fees, and was informed that they were not notified my membership was canceled, and I would have to work with the local Anytime Fitness gym to make sure my account is closed, and to refund my money. I never thought this would be such an ongoing process that its becoming frustrating.

Used to be great. But Management has changed multiple times in the last 2 years. This club is now not responding to any form of communication.

My boyfriend and I stopped in today to get information about what the gym offers and monthly fees. Once we walked in, the manager yelled out “I’ll be there in a minute!”. He was on the phone so we waited patiently in the designated waiting area. After standing there for 15 minutes I looked back in the office and the manager was off the phone, just sitting there chit-chatting with another employee, laughing and joking around. We waited another 5 minutes with that going on. Finally, we got fed up waiting a total of 20 minutes and asked if we should just come back another time. The manager said, “Yeah, maybe come back tomorrow?”.There is no reason for it to take that long, and if the manager was that busy, then he should have sent his employee out to help us. Horrible customer service. Really judgy atmosphere. Would not recommend.

This is the second gym in flagstaff that I have had a membership at, and thus far I have enjoyed my time at this gym. I really value having space to do my own thing and not feel over crowded. If you come during busy hours you do get a lot of younger people and those are the hours I tend to avoid but during the slower hours you get a more diverse crowd which for me is so much better. I live out of town and having showers available is definitely a bonus as well as being able to do yoga at the same place. Over all its a decent place and I would recommend trying it out.

We stopped in from out of town. This gym is really clean and a lot larger than the one in our hometown. The members were really nice and welcoming. 💙

Great gym! Yes anytime does mean anything which is the reason why this is my gym. With 4am workout that fit my schedule best this is the best gym for me.

This gym doesnt require people to wear masks while in the gym. Theres a hand written note on the door that says wear a mask while entering and exiting but nobody wears a mask at anytime. Plus there isnt any staff to enforce this. This goes against the AZ regulations and when they find out Im sure this gym will be closed again. Find another gym soon.

The gym itself has a great vibe! Since I joined I have never seen it dirty and it has all the equipment I need. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. Its got a great little yoga room, a tanning bed, and free classes for members! Easily worth the 39 bucks a month.

This place is small and can get busy but it has everything you need. I like this place because with my insurance it is affordable and conveniently close to where I live and work. Most equipment is new and in good condition. I would suggest this place to anyone

I enjoy this gym. It’s not huge but it definitely has plenty of equipment. Whenever I go it’s not super busy either so it all works out. My only suggestions would be AC but I understand that’s not a big thing in flagstaff. Overall a good gym!

Probably the worst gym I have had to use. My first complaint I have is i got charged $50 for bringing people into the gym. Yes I am at fault for not seeing the sign posted on the front door, but I honestly never saw it until I was notified about it. 2. My gym membership was also suspended without notice and I showed up to the gym on multiple occasions not allowed in the gym. Not until I contacted them did I find out what was wrong with the gym key card. 3. The owner of the gym made me give a 5 star reviews on the google and yelp page in order to get my membership back and I still got charged $50. I also got the people who I took to the gym to sign up for the gym anyway and they still wouldnt give me my $50 back and they also never gave me the money for the referral fee. This gym is absolutely over priced for its amenities. The recently took out the tanning booth and the gym is not worth it over the other gym in Flagstaff now. This gym has NO SAUNA, NO POOL, NO STEAM ROOM, NO TANNING ROOM, AND NO HYDRO MASSAGE. this is what you would get at most other gyms for less than $40 a month. If you are looking for a gym go to the flagstaff athletic club NOT ANYTIME FITNESS. I also Travel and the gyms in San Diego are so small and not in a convenient location. So with this being said I cancelled my membership and go to a new gym now and couldnt be happier that I never have to use these gyms again.

Check your accounts this local Anytime Fitness has been charging us the yearly club fee of $35 every month ontop of are membership fee. This location and its owners have always had billing issues. This was the last straw.......

Gym is never clean, and way too overcrowded with equipment! Smallest Anytime Fitness Ive ever seen. The mirrors are always dirty; some baseboards are missing; floor thresholds are coming off. Its unsafe with so little space in between squat racks. I only go during off hours so I dont have to wait for someone next to me to finish their exercise before I can add or remove weights. There are too many treadmills for such a little gym. Ive been waiting for things to improve the last couple months with the new manager, but I dont see any good changes.

Reading some of the other reviews, Im a bit shocked. Im going on my second year working out at this location and have had nothing but a great experience. Theres been a few changes in employees, but they are just as friendly and helpful as the others were. Equipment is awesome and only on a few occasions has it been so busy I had to wait to use equipment. For the price per month (around 35 doll hairs) I think this place is great! Of the other gyms in Flagstaff I would recommend this one for sure!

Anytime fitness serves as a great escape from the crowds of NAUs health and learning center. the machines are usually open, (unless you go right after the working day) the facility is clean, and they even have a tanning booth if you want to get some dark. Its awesome to be able to go any time of the day and workout, a big step up from other gyms that close at certain times.

Terrible customer service. Might want to check your bank statements as these guys are still charging you while everything is shut down. Trying to get my money back or freeze my account has been so unbelievably difficult.

Ive been going to the Anytime Fitness in Flagstaff, AZ for a few years and this is by far the best gym in Flagstaff. Their prices are reasonable considering the gym is literally open 24/7 and theyve been adding new equipment to accommodate for everyones fitness goals. The staff is very friendly and they always make a point to say hello when you walk through the door. They make it a comfortable environment to work out in and can always answer any questions you may have. Ive been to other gyms before and I really like the direction this gym is heading. This will continue to be the best gym in Flagstaff.

Talked to Laurie on the phone a few times and she was very helpful. Had to cancel awhile back due to moving but happy to come back to this gym. Amy (hope its spelled correctly!) helped me with the sign up. Easiest gym decision. You guys rock.

I like this gym because its always clean (especially the bathrooms) and has a good selection of workout machines and free weights. The gym appears to be managed well I highly recommend it.

Love the management! Equipment is up to date and very clean!! However it is very small and crowded! Most people go for chit chat which can make newbies uncomfortable. I reccomend going as early or late in the day as possible 5-7 is NOT the time to go.Again, management is fabulous!

Honestly just a good solid gym. Yea, its busy during peak hours, but so is literally everywhere else. Employees are knowledgeable and enjoy helping out. I recently had to abruptly leave the area so I had to cancel my membership and even that process was full of understanding and help. Ill miss this gym for sure.

Visiting from Minneapolis. The gym is medium in size for an Anytime. Shower/bath room facilities are generous in size but could use more hooks and maybe a shelf. One of the faucet was broken. Hot water didnt work in one of the showers. Studio floor needed sweeping bad. Overall I was happy to have an Anytime in town and despite a few issues, the gym was overall nice.

Nobody is ever there. Ive been trying to cancel my membership for months because well COVID-19, and I am still getting charged monthly. Terrible service.

Best 24 hour gym in flagstaff. I say this because they have the most useful equipment there and thats all I need. They also have extras such as a tanning bed and showers.

Decent selection, and overpriced. I asked the manager to cancel my membership and she sent the cancelation letter, but when I sent it back over there was no reply. I didnt even go this gym but once or twice in the last years that I had the membership. I was charged 3 times after I had already called to cancel. Do not sign up here.

I would like to update this to 4 star after my experience with Laurie. As soon as she got my concern it was dealt with in professionalism I know wasn’t there before and speed so thank you. I have tried calling again and someone did answer so I can say with confidence things are different and always liked the facility. I have been calling and trying to get ahold of someone there for a month now. I have left messages I only call between 10am-3pm multiple times and have not reached anyone or received a phone call back. Don’t waste your time with bad customer service!!!!

The yoga on tuesdays and saturdays with Ed is the best part! He is amazing and knows what hes doing. Super motivating.Otherwise the staff is friendly enough. Pretty standard gym

24 hour fitness what more can you want? When Im visiting in town I come here and get some workouts. I pay $30 a month my son and I. Not too bad well worth it if you make the commitments.

Gym is always crowded and far too small. Also I cancelled my membership back in October (turned the key in and everything) and found out today that I have been charged $45 for a membership I no longer use and a facility I don’t even have access to. I called during their open hours but I’m not holding my breath for a call back, as nobody seems to be able to get ahold of them. I’ll be back in town next week and I’ll be sure to make it clear how disappointing my experience has been. :)

Clean gym, clean showers/toilets and friendly staff

I have been going to this place for about 2 years now and it’s been great. The people are nice and having a gym 24 hours works great with my school schedule.

Im currently a member and Im glad they have all the equipment I want to use But there are numerous problems with this gym. First it doesnt seem to have air conditioning or a window that opens. So it is always hot, humid, and smells of 3 years worth of sweat. Also equipment will be broken for months and the staff does nothing about.Currently the multipurpose room is under construction. 70% of my workout consists of free weights and I now no longer have a place to do my workouts. Finally, I took advantage of my free training session. As nice as the trainer was it seemed he cared more about making the sale, rather than on the exercises I was asking him about. I also told him multiple times a $400 training package was not something I could afford, but he kept trying to get me to buy a training package. Overall this place is fairly mediocre. It has everything you want, but nothing you actually need.

For being a professional business, the professionalism is severely lacking. I recently moved and wanted to cancel my membership but it turned out to be the worst nightmare I ever imagined. I have been calling them and e-mailing them for about three months now to cancel and I never had a call returned back to me until today over three months later where something was finally done. I couldnt go in and do it in person because I moved too soon so I had no choice but to do it over the phone and e-mail.Ive called them numerous times during business hours but the phone just rings until it goes to voicemail. What do they do the entire day not answer their phones or e-mails? When I finally got someone on the phone, she was rude and in such a hurry to get off the phone. For three months of trying to get into contact with them I wasted so much money. I will never visit this gym or any other Anytime Fitness gym again.

Visiting from Wisconsin and stopped in for a quick workout. This is the least desirable Anytime Fitness Ive ever been to. Most equipment is outdated, heavily worn out, or too close together so youre always in someones way with free weights. It was very muggy in the gym and smelled like BO. It is a gym so it is somewhat expected, but I felt like it was excessive.I could tell they were remodeling a room, but I feel like the entire place needs it. I feel bad for the people up here because the next closest Anytime Fitness is over an hour and a half away. Ill be happy when I get back to my regular gym.

I went in recently to get a membership, after not being able to find the pricing online. The cost of the membership came out to $36.99 a month and a $50 activation fee for the card.Although expensive I did consider it, until the staff began to show their true character. The lady at the desk was very condescending and did not treat customers as they should be treated. The gentleman there was very nice but was off in his own world.Unfortunately, this gym has lost my business for the aforementioned reasons.

Worst gym experience ever. Signed up at a different location and loved it, then moved here and now I have to deal with this place. Gives Anytime Fitness a bad name, which is sad, cause most facilities are very nice. If I had moved here and wasnt in a contract, I wouldnt have chosen this place.

The staff is friendly and the gym is just right for me and my wife. It is a little stinky and stuffy but eh its also a gym. I am a serious gym advocate and would recommend this to others.

I was offered a membership at Anytime Fitness for $32 per month, this seemed like a good deal so I joined. I ended up paying $82 for the first month because they charge $50 extra for the door key.The 2nd month, the manager lost my credit card info and had to call me, I was charged $52 instead of $32, so I complained and had this reversed.The 3rd month I was charged $52 again, and this time they would not refund the overcharge, and claimed my card was not working so they charged me an extra $20 fee. WHAT? And for insult I was also charged an Extra $10 service fee a few days later, which they claim was in the contract. (Total of $62 for this month)They also charge a fee to Cancel your membership, ridiculous!

I tried calling during their staffed hours a few times, because I hate leaving messages at places like that and have never gotten a call back anyway. Was thinking about driving over and talking to someone, but then they called me. I didnt understand what she had said at first, and still didnt catch her name the second time. When I asked her to repeat what she had said, this was the response, This is (whatever her name was), from Anytime Fitness, you called like 3 times. I found that extremely rude. Then I said that I was just calling about rate information, which I was then told that I had to tour the facility first. I only want a summer plan, since my school charges me for the summer if I want to use the rec center on campus. So this chick says, well, that wont be worth it to you then, blah blah $50 access card activation, And they basically wanted to charge me 100 for the first month and then 50 next month. Not worth it I think, try YMCA.

Carina will tell you whatever you want to hear to get you into a contract. After you have basically signed your life away she will act like she has never seen you before and whatever issues you have will become irrelevant. The actual gym has mediocre equipment at best, no ventilation, and is an all around uncomfortable place to workout in.

Worst gym I’ve ever been too. Laurie S the manager is the rudest manager I’ve ever dealt with in my entire life, when she couldn’t find my brothers membership she opened every anytime fitness members account and information for me to look through and find. Equipment is very old and broken. The air conditioning is broken and leaks over every machine. The weights are always missing from racks and machines. Don’t waste your time on this dump.

Was trying to make an appointment today to possibly join again. Just wanted to memberships so i have on each side of town. Wish Snap fitness had another location but it is the best place. Then i tryed to call and the phone is temporarily disconnected. How shady. Then I was reading reviews, wow some really bad ones. I think I will stick with snap fitness. Wasnt going to leave just wanted somthing on the other side of town. Customer service is outstanding. Place is always clean and doesnt smell like a gym at all like the reviews say how sticky and dirty it is . The owner knows people by name. Walks around says hi to members sees if they need anything. Defiantly approachable. Way different than anytime fitness reviews. Go to Snap fitness you wont regret it.

This gym is filthy. Ideally it needs to be remodeled. However, if they cant remodel they should at least clean and maintain what they have. Floors and equipment are disgusting. Trash cans have crud all over them. Its gross. If I didnt also live in Phoenix where I go to the Anytime Fitness there I would not be a member.

The manager is friendly at first but once youve signed up and been a member past the initial 30-days (at which point you CANNOT cancel your membership) she is rude and cold. On top of that, she charged me fees OUTSIDE of what I agreed to in my contract and WITHOUT my permission. I disputed the charge with my bank, got my money back, and they charged again clearly in breaching the contract agreement which is an issue Im still sorting out.She also will tell you that they need you bank account and routing number within the first week of membership. This is NOT in the contract and that, while I refused to give Anytime fitness carte blanch of my bank account, should be a serious red flag pertaining to the shady practices of this business. Business is a term used lightly here considering the misleading introductions, terminology used by management, and in my experiences FALSE advertising; the term scam would be much more accurate.Be wary, newcomers. Be very wary.

Unable to access facility for a day pass during the weekend. Saturday By Appointment and Unstaffed on Sundays.I was visiting Flagstaff for a wedding and staying at a hotel next door which did not have an adequate fitness center available. I decided to visit this Anytime Fitness location as was unable to gain access due to the doors being locked and requiring a key tag for access. When I called the corporate number, I found it to be pointless, as it was just a series of hold times and ridiculous IVR menus.I ended up going over to NAUs rec center and am glad that I did. Adequate parking and a day pass for the entire facility for only $10. Very friendly staff.

Awful gym. Crowded with dumb college kids. No management in sight. And no normal stationary bikes. Disappointed.
