Doing work there not getting work done but very nice people and the cars that they were fixing were not cheap.

Had my minivan hit by a teenager who was insured by Geico, took it to Blakes and worked with Bud. He arranged a rental car to pick me up at the time of drop off, was super communicative, van looks great and was done on time. Highly recommend!

Very professional staff scheduled my appointment and were ready to help me when I arrived. The estimator answered all my questions and was very up-front about what costs might be, and what was important to know.

This place restores my faith a good number of things…..quick, efficient, affordable friendly service. Only back in Marin for a day, they were quick to take me early without an appointment and finished midday. Fernando was immediately helpful and kind as was everyone else I encountered there. They all did everything they could possibly do to accommodate. Honestly, what do I know: could have been charged 4 times as much for what they did for a bent door frame, and with $1000 deductible, I was sweatin it. I was shocked and pleased to pay $80 for the repair I was told could mean a new door. I no longer live in the area so am spreading the word here. Having often felt taken advantage of in many other situations with car repair and maintenance, this was a really cool way to come back to Marin and have a really good experience. Do it! I doubt you would ever be disappointed.

I am a repeat customer of Blakes Auto Body. Two days ago, I took my vehicle in to initiate a warranty repair, which Blakes refused. The manager (Anthony Algood), while physically inspecting my vehicle, scratched my clear coat and did not acknowledge/apologize for the damage. In refusing the repair, he provided reasoning which did not reflect the warranty repair statement listed on Blakes company website. I spoke with Mr. Algood twice, even showing him his companys warranty repair statement, to which he could not provide a clarifying response. During this interaction, Mr. Algood became negative and accusatory, and he also provided me with inaccurate information that only served to only muddle the conversation, a conversation which we both walked away from without a proper resolution.As a result of this interaction, I messaged Blakes Auto Body directly through their main contact page to provide feedback and have yet to receive a response (it has been two business days since I contacted them). Suffice it to say, I am disappointed in Blakes Auto Body, especially in light of the positive experiences Ive had with Blakes in the past. This recent experience and Blakes lack of response/responsibility is a shock and wholly unjustified.

Terrible experience with Blakes Autobody in San Rafael.Twice I made an appointment for a routine auto-body repair and twice they cancelled for no apparent reason. I suspect that this particular repair was not profitable enough, so they decided not to fix...Very frustrating experience; would not recommend this shop.
