Made an appointment and they put 2 people in front of me the A/C not working. The dude just sitting there wouldn’t even cut my hair so I walked out. What’s the point of making appointments if you can’t stick to the scheduled time. Would be one thing if they acknowledged that I was there and letMe know they were a little behind but no just left me sitting there until I asked what was going on. I will not be back.

My man Cwright blend is decent. The conservation is kool and the shop overall is clean. But his edge up of my front lining threw off for me. I did leave with with a crooked lining. We made an attempt or two to straighten it out but with that we woulda had to push my lining back further with no guarantee of getting me straight up front.So I elected to leave it as it was and let my regular barber get it worked out.

Took my son here 2 times and both men who cut his hair did a great job. Great guys

To start: worst experience I have ever had at a barbershop. I called ahead to schedule an appointment and was told to just come in. I waited 25 minutes until a barber returned from lunch to be told he had me as a customer. He was less than enthused. I asked for a half inch fade from bottom to top. I got a half inch cut to the top. I then asked for 1/2 taken off the top length, I got cut to 1/2 length on top. I got a $2 military cut for $30. What compelled me to write this review was realizing the next day that the barber had shaved HALF MY EYEBROW OFF. DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION FOR A HAIRCUT. The Barbers name was Mouse. If you find yourself in his chair, leave. Avoid this place.

Asia is very polite and professional. She cared enough to ask my opinion about MY HAIR and does an awesome job with varies of styles. The shop was very clean even though alot of the Stylist didnt speak the girl at the front desk was very kind to help me find where I was going.

Booked service had to call twice to get it confirmed drove 45 minutes for appointment plus depositand they did not show

Shawn is an awesome barber. His staff is very professional.

Waited almost two hours for my girlfriend to get her haircut and we called ahead of time. One of the barbers said “Oh it would be a good time to come in now”. So we come and they decide to let other people go in front of her even though she was there first. On top of that she only was getting an undercut. Other people were getting their beards lined, facials and their hair sprayed to make it look darker.. it was just unprofessional experience. It shouldn’t take two hours to get a hair cut that shouldn’t take no longer than twenty minutes to do. Haircut should’ve been free for as long as we waited. We only waited because we spent so much time waiting and it would’ve been a waste of time to go else where.#neveragain wack shop, no cap.

No is a good barber and the shop is always clean and everyone professional.

Terrible haircut, these guys are only skilled at doing hair fill in with spray paint hair. They could not do a straight or even line up to save their life.I had hair all over my face, and the guy cut my face both times I got a haircut from this place.Complete amateurs charging a premium price for a haircut they can never live up to.Terrible customer service, the absolute worst I’ve had in a really long time. Do not waste your time or your money with this place. Take care of your hair and go somewhere better and more professional.

It was okay. Okay cut. They seem talented. Was charged $30, which is the most Ive ever paid in my life for a haircut.Teenagers and staff playing video games in the back. Too much profanity used. Overall, lacking a professional vibe, especially for that money.I wont be back.

I was referred to this salon from a co worker when asked where should I take my daughter for a new cool stylish look. But after making multiple attempts with no luck we have found another salon. I came into the salon twice with my daughter and I was told it was too take in the evening and as asked to return at earlier time thats seem to be more convenient for the stylish has she walk out. I did what was asked and returned on a sat. morning maybe midday seeking services for my daughters and when arrived the salon doors where closed and seem to dark as if no one was even there, I dont like to feel my money isnt valued and thats the feeling this salon gave me.

I’ve been seeing Justin for my haircuts since i moved to charlotte, i actually found him on Instagram! However the shop is really nice, all of the guys in there are friendly. Justin is great and i love making my appointments on the Booksy app because it’s easy to keep up with and has accurate scheduling

The guys at 34th Design Barbershop are professional, very creative with the cuts and styles and their customer service is awesome.Shawn made us feel welcome from start to finish. You must really check out this hidden treasure in the barbering game. They are located in the university area near UNC Charlotte.Their barbering skills are top notch and trust me you won’t be sorry you stopped by for a nice cut. Customer service is trash...barbers stay in the back and on break for as long as they like and decide when they’re ready to cut. I arrived at 430 and it now 5:07 I had to ask if THEY WERE STILL CUTTING!?One barber finished a customer then sat down for a little but then left the building. I couldn’t believe no said can i help you.? Especially after i greeted at the door. I said something immediately to the other barber who finished a customer and he then said yea i’ll get to you in a minute.He waited until the other guy came back in almost 10 min later and said “yo he wants a cut.” This is prime example of why it’s hard to support your people. This was a horrible experience. My son and I both agreed we have not only a better experience with but better cuts with the Spanish dudes up the block.

I went in to get my hair cut, showed an actual picture of myself with a tapered cut on the sides and long curly hair on top. I asked for this exact cut but Barber Brandon said “nah I’ll get you fresh” and procedes to give me a fade and then took a clipper only to my bangs making them significantly shorter than the rest of my hair. In addition, he asked me to follow him on insta before even finishing the cut despite me repeatedly telling him I didn’t have one. After he finished I told him in private that my hair didn’t look like what I showed him and he said “because the picture you showed me was a bowl cut”. Seemingly flustered he shook my hand three times and told me his name multiple times. I spoke to another barber there about my distaste and he told me to “have more patience” even though I was there for an hour and a half. Still made me pay 25 and I had to get it buzzed somewhere else. Extremely disappointing.

Paid 15 $ for a line up that took less than 5 minutes and nothing more. No alcohol or product was put on afterward either. When I got home I noticed the line was crooked in the back and uneven around one ear and had to fix it myself. Last time I’ll visit.

I asked the guy in the first cgair that I feel is the owner to fix it . He told me he had me and kept putting people in his chair. I asked him when he was gonna cut me he just kept saying I gotchu. The worst part about it is they could cut hair. I asked for a mohawk and tvey gave me a fade and a sloppy fade at that. Im pissed.
