Cool routes and nice people. Staff was very active cleaning the mats and tightening holds. Looks like a great kids program, too.

Good setting. Nice mats for landing. Fairly new holds. Workout area has beastmaker 2000 hang board and other stuff. Tension board is great. If possible can we get a decline bench haha. Pretty clean also.

Best bouldering gym in town! Has a lot of different routes for beginners or those looking for more of a challenge. The staff has always been super helpful and it has a small weights area as well. They have also had a great response to Covid and have made their gym feel safe with limited capacity.

Top notch place. Im relatively new to climbing, only been at it for about 8 months, but Ive been to quite a few gyms and Beta really stands out. Friendly and welcoming environment, regularly changing routes (they always make sure to accommodate beginning and less-talented climbers like myself with routes that are very manageable) and a STELLAR STAFF. Always really nice, helpful, and accommodating. Ive sheepishly asked for advice on a route several times and they are always eager and happy to come give you tips, even demonstrating moves if it helps. More than that, theyre all nuts about climbing themselves, so half the time youre there youll end up climbing next to a staff member who is off-duty, and everything just feels like a nice little community instead of a business.Passes, especially the group ones, are absurdly affordable. Bathrooms, water, a regular gym area, and a gear section that almost certainly has what you might need rounds out this gem of a gym.The only (and I mean only; I wracked my brain trying to think of complaints) thing I would say they could work on is that some of the holds are showing their age and are quite worn down, making finding your footing difficult at times. But I imagine its expensive to replace holds all the time, so Im not holding it against them. 10/10, would and will climb again.Overall, a great place and you should absolutely come climbing with

Nice little gym for bouldering with a nice weights and stretching area. The setting was pretty good but alot of focus on strength over technique. The price is super affordable too at only $15 for a day pass. They have a drinking fountain and really friendly staff. My major complaint is with just how dirty it was. The whole gym had a thick layer of chalk on everything and half the holds have probably never been cleaned. If they just spent a day to clean the place up it would go along way. Over nice place

Fantastic gym! Great for hangs and sends! Rad employees and I felt right at home doing something that was completly new to me! I purchased the winter pass last season which lasted 5 months and I used it frequently! I really miss going as I write this. Check them out! You will be happy you did!

Great local indoor climbing/bouldering gym for Flagstaff! Would love to see a larger climbing facility in Flagstaff but there is limited commercial space and building to allow for this. For a gym this size, they try to maximize the building space and offer routes for beginners on up to advanced climbers, training areas and equipment for all levels, and they offer free classes for members such as yoga. Thank you Beta Bouldering for the kind staff too!

This is the rock gym youre looking for. It has been my home climbing gym for the past 5+ years and if youre going to pull on plastic, this is the place. Their staff actually genuinely care about both new and experienced climbers. They take customer comments to heart and frequently change up the routes/problems enough to keep things exciting. The workout areas, free yoga classes for members, and gear options are a great bonus.

Climbing primarily at focus climbing gym in phx, beta bouldering gym was a great experience. The monochromatic setup they use is extremely convenient and makes it a lot easier to see. Wish we were closer to flagstaff so we could climb here more often. Will definitely be back in the near future!

We had an extra day after backpacking in the Grand Canyon and decided to spend some time bouldering in Flagstaff. Staff was super helpful getting us some gear and getting us out there. It made for a fantastic day.

Really really cool place for kids or adults to burn off some energy. Small safe walls for the little ones and more challenging routes for beginner to expert climbers. Friendly employees too!

Needed a place to stop in for an hour or two while on vacation, and this was perfect. My upper limit is V3/V4 depending on the style of the problem, and there was more than enough to keep me busy (and tons of harder stuff that I had fun watching others tackle).Friendly staff, very clean, highly recommended. Wish it was in Michigan so I could visit more often!

Great sized gym with lots of problems to do that they reset fairly often! I like the way they grade the problems too.And the membership is the best part. When you sharing a membership with 3 other people, its only $29 a month which compared to every other kind of membership out there, is a STEAL!

Great place to climb! The prices were very reasonable and I was greeted with a huge smile when I walked in. It was my first time and I wasnt sure what size shoe to put on, and the staff was so accommodating that I will only return to this gym to continue my bouldering journey.

Awesome clean and big bouldering gym. I visited Flagstaff briefly for a conference and tried out both the Flagstaff Climbing Center downtown and Beta Bouldering. Beta is way better, yet somehow cheaper. In fact, in this case, Beta is Alpha (sorry, couldnt resist). The holds are either new or cleaned regularly, there arent 10 pieces of tape on each hold, the mats are plush and continuous (no crevices to twist an ankle in), and there is a wide range of problems. They seem to set long and often reachy problems compared to my home gym, but that could be a good or bad thing depending on who you are (and may not be the way they set always). Also, they have a foosball table!
