Mostly good experience here. The dryers are great! Except this dryer (#42) in the picture. It accepted my quarters, the time ticks down, but it doesnt start up. Not sure how to reach management. Phone call went to a voice-mail that was full.
First time there & it was clean & tidy. One of the big commercial washers ate my quarters, theres a posted phone number & the manager met me the next day to refund my quarters. Nice selection of big commercial washers and smaller top load units.
JCs is a small laundromat in the South Eugene area. Its maintained nicely and I have not had any problems with other people using the machines. The best part of this particular laundromat is that it is payrange app enabled so you dont have to bring a whole bunch of quarters you can just send the payment to the machines via your phone. Only minus I have is that there are a couple machines that say they accept the pay range but do not actually work with it.
My favorite place for laundry but if you see me there Im already taking up every washer and then every dryer. No mercy! 😜
Nice place to sit and do your laundry with all the amenities you might require in walking distance.
Very good, thank you. Our dryer broke. Needed to dry clothes. Was surprised by how clean the place and machines are kept. Until our dryer is repaired or replaced I have to come back. But I really dont mind. The cost was surprisingly low and the environment surprisingly clean and efficient. Glad to know that resource is so well maintained at this time in history......
Relatively clean laundromat (compared to others Ive used) with plenty of machines and dryers. I counted 7 extra capacity washers and 5 extra capacity dryers with 2 of the large washers out of service. I took a large dog mat to wash, the machine did a great job of washing but the spin didnt do a good job of removing excess water. The one wash with hot water was $4.75 with the option to use an app to pay instead of quarters. No bathroom, close to Dari-Mart and public transportation.
Quiet and clean... Washers and dryers never have any weird smells. Its never too busy. There are little tables and a vending machine with snacks... No drinks. No bathroom. The largest washers cost 4.25, the small front loaders are 225 and the small top loaders are 2.00..... .25 cents for 6 minutes of drying. They have nice smaller rolling basket carts and a decent folding counter. The large windows are nice. I accidently waited a few minutes too long and got ALL my laundry locked up for what I thought would be until morning. But I called and someone gladly came over and opened the door and let me grab my things without a wink or a complaint. It was very nice.
I decided to come here for the first time because it never seemed busy and now I know why. For not having a customer restroom this place sure smelled strongly of raw sewage. $3-$4 per load is way too much to pay to be washing my belongings in machines growing algae. These photos are all from different machines. Yikes! I will not be back!
Second time in a row that I found a homeless person sleeping (the same mask-less male) INSIDE the locked laundromat. I mean Cmon man this is business 101, if you cant make sure your establishment is empty before you lock the doors then you shouldnt be in business. What a shame as I must now go back to the other laundromat that I stopped using because of the mask-less homeless person smoking inside.
Very nice laundry, coin laundry and nice seating at tables, convenient for laptops lunch ect👍
Tons of washers and dryers. Their kept clean. Cost per load is pretty decent. I wish they would circulate air inside better because the smell of laundry detergent and such is overpowering and will give you a headache.
Clean appearance...small but fits the bill
Very clean. Helpful staff. Right next to a dispensary and gyros restaurant. Win win!
Disappointing to decline under new management. Many of the machines had lots of hair & debris in them, one even dog food in it. They didnt spin out as great, out 6 machines that I used only 2 spun out efficiently, so drying the other 4 loads took twice as long. Spent $22 just on washing machines that took longer to dry left me feeling jipped! Generally its not nearly as clean, floors were and ledges just below the machines are dirty. If you drop a freshly cleaned sock or pair of undies I would not consider them clean anymore, yuck!
I go here weekly since I moved into a place with out washer dryer hook ups. Best to go early morning, very safe feeling to just drop off clothes and come back later to switch. Very relaxed atmosphere where a volunteer is always in the back office or checking on the machines. $2 for smallest load plus .25cents for every 6 minutes dry time.
Nice, small, quiet and clean. close to a dairy mart. currently $2 for a small load as of today, and 25 cents for 6 minutes of drying. no customer bathroom, but public ones nearby. recommended go-to laundromat.
Honestly I was a bit worried due to the mixed reviews but it was a pleasant experience. Clean, three sets of tables with four stools, a long bar table to fold laundry.Plenty of power outlets, (not right next to tables though) like four laundry carts and a vending machine that was awesome. (Food only no drinks) no bathrooms, but right nextdoor to an organic dispensary, (mostly?)organic coffee/deli and dairymart. There were 18+ washers and a wall of dryers. Three dryers at least were large for sheets or heavy loads. Theres a quarter dispenser and if you forget soap, its a dollar for some there. (There are a few choices of soap as well)A washing was $2.75 for, I think, 23 minuets and drying was ¢25 per six minutes. (It took our load to finish drying with four quarters on normal heat then two quarters on high. There were about five pairs of thin pants, four pairs of socks, four or so shirts, two towels, a few washcloths and a few other things.)I would for sure recommend this place, nothing about it felt unsafe in any way. 24 hour security cameras, reading material, and a cork board with farming groups or dog walkers. Pretty chill.
Clean & quiet place to do your laundry
I dont usually use commercial laundromats. The washers were fine, but I did have a problem. I used one of the smallest washers and kept putting in my quarters. When it seemed like it was taking more than it should, I looked at the indicator and it said 25. So I put in still another quarter, since this indicator had been telling me how much I still had to pay. Same result - it read 25. Turns out that the indicator was now telling me how much time I had on the machine. Despite the fact that I had overpaid by several quarters, the machine did not spill out the extra payment.
This was the scariest place ever!!! I went in on a sunday afternoon...loaded 2 machines went out to my car to get rest of laundry when i came back a man was in the corner opposite my machine with my underwear. creepy enough but not the end of it. I sat close to my machines and watched the owner numerous times open the machines that had clothes in them. he even opened mine 3 times....not sure why but still creepy. I will NEVER go back to this place. Oh by the way, the owner accused someone of stealing quarters when i was there..seems to be a regular thing for him. Pretty much demoralized the person. accused him of stealing from his business. excuse me giving you a 5 for 5 in quarters where is the stealing. DO NOT GO HERE!!! there are many other places that will not be so bad.
This used to be a good laundromat. Then someone else bought it and the bathroom became owner only, then the TV usage disappeared, then the video games disappeared and the sink where you could wash your hands if you got soap on them or soiled with germs from laundry. Its barely clean, the washing machines stink all to high hell. Its a dump. I Am now going to Holiday Laundry where it is much more pleasing to sit and wait for your laundry to be done. Stay away from this place if you can.
A lack of bathrooms and other amenities makes this laundry acceptable, but nothing special. Its never been particularly busy, so theres rarely a wait. Free WiFi helps pass the time.
Theres nothing really special about this place. They have a large amount of regular washing machines but only a few large ones. If you have a lot to wash and want one of the larger machines, id recommend coming early in the morning or later in the night. The dryers are only $0.25 for 7 minutes but even in high heat, they do not dry well. After 21 minutes my clothes were all still pretty wet. I had to redry them in our apartments laundry area.Still, its not remotely the worst place in Eugene to get your laundry done.
The. machines are clean & work well but a restroom is necessary.
But rough but easy to get too
This place is horrible and I hope it goes out of business, the sooner the better. One of the dryers took a quarter and when I called the number on the wall, the owner accused me of breaking the machine. The creepy old guy that hangs out said he was a volunteer and went over to the dryer, bent down and looked at it and said, says 25 cents. Duh!? Maybe a sinkhole will open up under the building. Gutt Riddens, as we say in Navajo country.
My favorite place to wash clothes!
Have several new washing machines, and all sizes, from smaller top loaders to the largest commercial machine. I also love the giant dryers! They are excellent for large loads--careful they do get hot! (you can adjust the heat setting though) The laundromat is always clean with plenty of convenient parking in front and in back. Promptly closes at 10 pm, just get there by 8:30 to wash, dry, and fold--and you should have no problem! I am a regular at JCs! The owners are really nice too! Plus they also have FREE wi-fi internet service!
My favorite laundromat in the best neighborhood in Eugene. Dispensary next door....
Machines work, wifi, vending machine, prices are reasonable, really nice attendant
Honestly one of the better laundromats in town.
Its close and they have bigger dryers
Clean, inexpensive. nice neighborhood
Great, laid back laundromat.
Average laundry. No restroom for customers.
Clean
This place is gross- needs to be cleaned
Simple and clean
