We had a WONDERFUL experience with The Venue! We threw a successful surprise birthday party for my dad’s 70th birthday! The food was AMAZING, the staff was friendly and on time with our dinner and everyone enjoyed themselves ❤️Thank you to Oscar and the staff at The Venue for making this event so special for us and our family & friends.

I would very much like to say that my family and I very much enjoyed the services provided by the Venue management at my surprise birthday party.The ballroom is very spacious with a very nice podium area and it has ample parking directly in front.The Venue management makes it very easy for someone that is planning a get together. For example, since we recently moved to El Paso, the Venue management contacted a Mariachi group, and music disk jockey, beautifully decorated all the tables and chairs, and the delicious mea, prepared at the site, was deliciou; I just can’t say enough of the good service they provided.I highly recommend this place.

The owners Miryam and Juan are very nice, but I was very disappointed the day of the party. We asked for El Paso Chicken as our main course and they gave us a different one, the one Miryam had been suggesting. My husband brought it up to her attention and we didnt even get an apology. During the party our guests were told they could only get 4 alcoholic drinks per hour, they never discussed that with us before so we had a lot of alcohol. Some of our guests saw a bartender drinking shots from our bottles. We are not dumb we know this usually happens at these types of parties, but doing it in front of the guests shows they have no respect for their clients and its extremely unprofessional. The DJ had a lady come in towards the end and some of our guests saw her taking things from our candy buffet. We usually dont mind sharing with staff, especially if we have a lot left, but in other venues where weve had parties they have asked, not just taken. To me that is very disrespectful and it makes it seem that they take advantage of you. We paid a lot of money for this party and that is the only reason why we decided to write the review. Their excuse was always that they were busy with the restaurant they own. There are many more things we could add that they said they were going to do and they didnt, but we wont waste our time anymore. Even though the guests enjoyed the party there were many things that were not right and before you choose this venue or their other one, Cascadas, make sure that everything is on point to how you want it. With us they totally dropped the ball. Well never hire or recommend them again.

Very nice venue. The bar has pretty much all liquors. Restrooms are nice and keep clean.

Our wedding at The Venue was fantastic! Juan and Myriam were extremely attentive and professional. The venue itself was a great size and very nicely kept. All our guests enjoyed the service and had a wonderful time.

Most stressful part of my wedding was dealing with the Venue. Even the day of my event they stressed my husband and I out when their job is to help make the day run smoothly. Do your research before hiring anyone who will be involved in any part of your special events!

Not once were they on time. I have a hundred comments on the unprofessional behavior, greed, and headache these owners have caused. But I dont want to waste another minute with this place. Avoid if you do things by the book and expect exceptional service.

Great place to dance and enjoy your self, we went because of my wifes company having their Christmas party there and we enjoyed ourselves. Very clean place.

I had the pleasure of hosting my daughters Sweet 16 at The Venue. There is no amount of thank you I can give you guys. Our event staff was amazing and coordinated everything with no hiccups !!! Our family and friends had an amazing time and most importantly my daughter had a great time that will remembered for the rest of her life. Miryam and Juan, the owners, are so accommodating and great host!!

Im going to be completely honest, the venue is beautiful and we did get a decent deal for everything we chose. Our wedding went wonderfully, the DJs were EXCELLENT. That is the only reason I am giving two stars. HOWEVER the management needs ALOT of work. They were terrible with answering calls or texts from my husband and I. Another huge problem was when we were there we would take people with us to help and they would always address them and communicate with them instead of us even though it was OUR names on the contract and we were the ones paying for the venue since it was our wedding, yet they tried to convince those with us how we should do our wedding and what to buy. It was extremely disrespectful. Another issue that arose was that when we originally set up the date and put the deposit and wrote the contract they assured us that we could still change our minds and everything would be set in stone the last week before the wedding. However, when we tried to change something they would say we were complicating things and we had to stick to the contract. Every conversation we had they would change the prices on us and would not honor what they said the time before. I suggest writing EVERYTHING down. That is what we had to do for them to honor prices. There are two owners and depending who you talked to would give you different answers and prices. Extremely unprofessional behavior. I understand theyre new owners but for that reason I would expect better behavior from them towards their customers. They would even argue amongst themselves in front of us. They complained about letting us set up even though they had told us we can set up the whole week if we wanted originally, but yet again they didnt keep their word. The final straw was when we had chose the color of table cloths and they did NOT stick to what I had wanted and after having mentioned it several times was still ignored the day of the wedding!! Also, during dinner our guests all got served yet we were ignored and had to ask them to bring us food and drink several times. We were not offered wine either and when we cut the cake they took it to the back to serve and we never even got served a slice. The roof was leaking during the wedding as well and the left over alcohol was given away without even asking our permission. They were argumentative throughout and extremely rude. Beware if you choose this venue.

I would absolutely not recommend this ballroom; my experience with this business was not a good one. The owners of this hall DO NOT accommodate to their customers needs before putting up a fight. In my experience, they watched us like a hawk anytime we were in the hall, even during the actual event, making guests uncomfortable. They charged us a fee for choosing to have an outside caterer and tried to charge taxes on things they are not supposed to. They eavesdropped on several conversations and went as far as joining in on the conversations between family members. They expected us to notify them of our plans for the event...plans such as church rehearsals that, obviously didnt include the ballroom. On the day of the event, we were only given a few hours to enter and decorate etc. They claimed to open the entire week so we can go and set up whatever we may need, but didnt answer phone calls when we were ready to go to the hall. As a result, we needed more time the day of the event to set up but our time was limited to their convenience. To make matters worse, the owner stood and followed us with her stare as long as we were in the hall arranging things. She complained to me about the catering service not setting up on time (the catering services was actually setting up while we were setting up during the short time frame we were given FOR set up) and not setting up to their standards. She stood next to me and compared what the catering services did to what they wouldve done, and then went one to say that we waited until the last minute to set up (again, we were setting up during the time frame we were given for set up). I finally pointed out that we were all setting up within the time frame given to us, but she insisted this was not enough, and as a result, they would not prepare the hall the way they usually do. After that, she went on to verbalize a list of things that needed to be done for the event (for church and other purposes), which, with respect I would like to point out has nothing to do with them or the hall. Already irritated as we were trying to finish our set ups on time, I thanked her but told her my family and I had everything taken care of. At that moment, she received a phone call and in front of me went on to say that nobody was on time to set up and we were holding her back. It was very unpleasant. During the event, I walked over to the bar where the owners were hanging out. Before I could say anything, I was told in a very short and rude manner that the bar would no longer be serving alcoholic beverages until after the toast. I stated I was not there for a beverage, but was there to ask a question. The answer I was given was very short. I was also notified that the owners were very unprofessional when dealing with the catering service we hired. I was upset to know this after rhe caterer had excellent service and was always very willing to help and adjust his plans to what we needed. When the event was over, they and security personnel immediately kicked out our guests minutes after the party was over. On one occasion, some of our guests were saying goodbye when one of the owners stood right next to us and passive agressively asked security personell to ask us all to leave. It was disrespectful and embarrassing. If what you look for in a ballroom is professionalism, smooth planning, and a stress free environment, this ballroom is most definitely not the way to go.

Friendly and professional staff. The facilities are clean, modern and elegant. Highly recomended.

Excellent room, we had a fabulous experience at our event. The new owners are always super attentive, the customer service is very good. Fully recommended as a good place, good location and excellent customer service. This year we hope we can repeat our event with them.

The place is beautiful. But the service super bad. We had an even to. . First, I am very kind of contrasts and we made an opposite in which we should pay one candidate per month. We made the mistake of paying them in advance. It was our first event and we didnt know much about it. Once we paid you no longer answered calls. Buy disorganized. The cake was not as we asked. We pay in the package for police who never arrived. . thank god we had no incidents because no Hi no no police again repeat venue in the package we paid. I do not recommend it at all. They do not pay in advance. thanks
