First professional cut in about 5 years. I usually cut my own hair, because Im cheap, lol. But Ill be back here. Cool atmosphere, great barbers, and Jassiel my hair cut exactly how I wanted. Highly recommend 👍

My guy hooked it up, forgot his name but he was wearing blue jeans white button down long sleeve & cowboy hat on his desk area. Tattoos everywhere really cool guy. Fade is nice, keeps the top nice and trim. Would recommend to anyone with nappy hair.

Between the hairstylist taking a walk-in 10 minutes before your appointment and make you wait another 30 minutes or find another one and the hairstylist that just cancel your appointment 1 hour before, I think I have seen enough of this franchise. They are young guys and some a have talent but somebody need to tell them how to conduct business. These things happened to me too often over there as I am writing this review. From now on I am no longer putting my money in any of this franchises, either in Plano or Garland. People have a life, we make haircut appointment according to business appointments, events in or life or other things we have going at the time. When it happens once or twice is comprehensible but that often no. You need to redefine what idea you have of your business or find another job.

Lazy, unorganized, and inattentive. This place used to be my go-to, but idk what happened... I walked in 5 minutes prior to my appointment at 2, waited for 15 minutes until somebody asked me if I had an appointment, to which the guy said somebody would be there in 5 minutes to cut my hair. Meanwhile 3 other barbers just sitting around on their phones or vaping, not one of them asked if I wanted a cut (I told them multiple times I would take anyone I just needed a cut). After 40 minutes and 3 walk-ins were helped before me, I left and they seemed like they could care less. The barber never even showed up. Really a shame this place used to be great, but dont waste your time or money.

Come and check Rob out! I was looking for a a barber for a while since my other barber stepped away from cutting hair. I couldn’t find a good cut anywhere until I came here. Rob is very meticulous with his work and very good with my two boys. Definitely recommend coming to check him out for a cut.

This location canceled my reservation TWO different times and it was always within 1-2 hours of the appointment so it would be far too late to be able to get an appointment elsewhere. So either try walking in or dont bother making an appointment at all.

Most of the barbers or customers are not wearing a mask... and if they do they are wearing them below their chin. COVID is still here and numbers are still going up. The company needs to get that under control because that is not professional. If you don’t feel safe because of Covid, this is probably not a place to get a haircut for you.

Went here as a walk in and only waited about 15-20 minutes. Rob got us in and killed my 6 year olds fade! We will be back! Place is sharp and clean and music is dope!! We liked it a lot.

Despite the talent here I will not be returning. About 8 or so months ago I scheduled an appointment and arrived to find the barber had not arrived - it was at their opening time. They said he was just running a little late. I waited for a good 30+ minutes before finally asking for anyone who was available to cut my hair. The guy walked in about 45 minutes after my appointment time. I gave them a second chance and found another talented barber and kept returning for my haircuts. I scheduled an appointment for noon today and arrived on time to find my barber still with a customer. He may have double booked himself or something but either way I was waiting another 25 minutes when I had booked an appointment. If you don’t mind waiting a half hour with a booked time then go ahead and visit these guys...they do great work, but I find it ridiculous to wait that long, twice, with an appointment time. I’ll find somewhere else from now on.

Ive been going to see Rob at Dapper for quite a while, Im always very happy with the experience and the hair cut and shave are top notch.

The prices are pretty steep for a simple shave and I mean for just bring my hair down and lining me up. The wait times are always a coin toss, you could wait 10 minutes or 2 hours. The 2 hour wait time was on a Sunday with 3 people in front of me, I ended up walking out since I wasnt gonna get a cut anytime soon. If you do come here I recommend setting up an appointment

So I grow my hair out for as long as I can because I hate haircuts. Ever since I was little, I’ve always had cuts that left me looking rough... This made me anxious to ever cut my hair. That is, until I found this spot. I’m being 100% honest: this is the only place to ever do it right. Every haircut I get here is SO fresh and I don’t go anywhere else. Everyone here is so nice and very talented. Monique is my go to barber though and I highly recommend asking for her. She’s the best!

First time I went I had Madeline and she gave me an excellent cut, just exactly as I asked for. She wasnt available so I had another barber. I told him I wanted a light trim with a nice taper, leave the sideburns and take a little off of the top. He almost shaved me except for the top and cut that pretty short. Since i didnt have much hair on top anyway, there is not much left. He cut it just exactly the opposite of what I asked for..

They talk more than they cut hair, messed up my hair cut, couldn’t follow simple hair cutting instructions.

I have been to the Dapper Barber several times. Let me start out by saying my barber Manny does a great job. The issue for me is the lack of scheduling and administrative assistance. I have on at least 2 occasions went in for an appointment and my barber was either double booked or not there at all. In my opinion this is disrespectful and unacceptable. One time at the Plano location this happened and they put me with a stylist that literally took over 2 hours on a simple hair cut and in my opinion I looked like I had mange. I went back in and found manny who fixed it... I still paid. Later I found out that one of the owners started the shop and he was one of a couple that was not new and that there were several others with similar issues.Today I drove in for a appointment that I booked weeks in advance and found out that they switched the barber on me as mine was off today(again I booked with my barber weeks ago). To make things worse the person they booked me with (Jimmy)was not even there. I am very busy and I live 30 min away. I moved things around to make this appointment and drove there and back wasting a hour commute for absolutely no reason.If you go here make sure you call before you go to make sure you have a appointment, and if you do make sure you know who it is. There are new people working into the business like all places but like all new people you may not like the result if you take a chance.A message to Nick the owner. This is really frustrating to your customers. The minute you become to good to take care of us is the time you lose your edge. Today was not a good experience.

I enjoy coming to this place. I have been to multiple barber shops in Texas and Nebraska. I know a good barber shop when I see one and this is it. Its very clean and family friendly. All the barber are nice and professional. They do not spend their time talking and actually spend time cutting your hair. I personally get a haircut from Manny. He does a great job every time I go. Professional and courteous. Ive been going to this barber shop for almost a year. Highly recommend it and recommend it every time I get a compliment on my haircut.

I’ve been going here for years and years it used to be good until i realized none of them will do the haircut you ask them for they always do their own idea of what will be good. Fades are good here but when you ask for anything more it’s too much to ask trust me they can’t do it don’t ask. after coming home countless times in a absolute rage because of just a absolutely Hideous haircut. don’t recommend at all.

This place is awesome. They have so many barbers and its always packed. Its best if you schedule an appointment online though. My son is extremely particular about his hair and he said Jerry gave him the best cut he has ever had. I had a cut and a shave and it was nice. The main problem I have with this place is the cost. It ran me $70.00 for two haircuts. The cuts were 30 each and I gave a 10 tip. They do give extra care though and take there time and make sure you leave with a great cut. I will continue to take my son there.

If you are in the military or any other branch of military Go see him and he will make sure you are taken care of. Show your support for our troops and show your patriotism while getting a fresh cut anyone that says different is not about it. Booked an appointment for today. Received a message that they canceled my appointment, with no explanation, an hour before the appointment which had me contemplating my decision to book my appointment in the first place. So, I booked another appointment with a different barber for a later time. Chris did an awesome job on my haircut and beard trim. He took his time and made sure all the edges and lines were crisp. I liked the place so much, I went ahead and booked my next appointment.

Dapper barbershop was the first barbershop I️ went to after coming to Texas. They take really good care of their customers and also provide a great environment to be in. Needed to find a barbershop one Sunday and luckily these guys were open. Ever since then I’ve been getting cut by my guy Ivan Hernandez and he delivers every time. Very chill atmosphere and would definitely recommend Ivan if you need a clean cut.

After moving from the East coast I was skeptical about where to get a fresh hair cut from, after researching the area Dapper Barber stood out from the rest. Make your life easier by getting an appointment ahead of time, Ivan hooked me up the first day and Ive been going back to him ever since. Do not go here, the barber patilla was supposed to do a haircut I showed him but he just did his own thing and didn’t listen at all.

Love this place. You feel like they really care and they do. Trained barbers do a great job. They are friendly and even an older person feels good going in here. Best time is during the week to really enjoy the experience. Better than the franchise locations.

Another place that doesn’t care about people’s time. Please be upfront with clients and let them know they should make an appointment or otherwise they will have to wait for more than an hour just to sit a barber. Be upfront with clients, don’t just make them wait because you don’t respect their time. Tell them how long the wait time is or simply say that you encourage them to make an appointment. I’ve been here before and and I’m so disappointed at the service levels going so low. I was there at 9:50 am and only had one person in front of me, yet didn’t get any help. This place opens at 10:00am. I finally walked out at 10:49 because it is disrespectful to not be told it will take that long to get service. I highly discourage anyone from going there.

Don’t go to Ivan I went to him and he cut lines through my hair and just completely messed up my hair. I have patches of hair that are way thinner than other areas so much that you can see my scalp. The whole time I get a haircut with him he’s on his phone or talking to the other barbers and getting distracted while cutting my hair. For $30 a haircut you think their would be some consistency and professionalism but I guess not.

I scheduled an appointment as a walk-in yesterday, everybody was courteous. The vibe and ambiance are suitable for the design of the place (modern) Im a rock/metal music type of guy. There was also a guy who sells them professional scissors and I can see the look on their faces that lets you know its their passion. Jovani took care of me even though I dont know what kind of style I want for my hair. I liked the end result. Ask for him if you want a good and precise haircut!

CHRIS went out of his way to make sure he knew exactly what I wanted before starting the cut, which gave me confidence that I was going to get a top notch haircut. Chicago is the man. The atmosphere is laid back, all of the barbers are cool. The music isnt censored, but I personally prefer it that way. Definitely feels like a barbershop - the type where youre just hanging out with the guys, getting a cut. Cool place, check it out.

Ive been going to Dappers barber shop for the past year and a half with barber Melo. He has been consistently cutting my hair and leaving me presentable after I get off the barber chair. I highly recommend to go to this barber because the variety of talented barbers.

Horrible & Expensive...

I been coming here from the day they open at first I got in quick and the owner was here to keep this guys in line now man I have to wait more then a hour just to get a cut when some of them are in there phones and I ask why it’s taking so long I’m told there is only one guy doing walk in and And the rest of the guys are appointments only I’m like wow!!!! But one guy didn’t show up for his appointment and and a customer walk up to him can give me a cut and the told him yes and by pass me and when I overhear the conversation’s they have a friend comes or someone that they know that dose not have a appointment gets by pass me all the time!!! This will be my last time here I spend good money all the time when I come here with 2 of my boys and myself but it’s time to go down the street and give them a try. Other then that I did like it here but they guys do what they want and dnt give a dam about customer service!!

I will say a couple of the barbers here can cut hair very well, while others can not. I also dont like the fact that they raised their prices and act like youre getting better service than you would get anywhere else. Ive been to a lot of different barbershops, this one isnt special. The only difference that I like is that you can get in the wait line online. The prices being raised is the reason I stopped going.

I have been going to Oso at dapper for over a year now and he always gives me the perfect haircut at a reasonable price. Always is on time for everyone of his appointments and is very personal and fun to talk too! I’d highly recommend him to anyone in the DFW area

Itsm seems they treat wake in like a charity case. Absolutely disregards walkins. Front desk informs me it will be a certain wait, however you clearly see non appointment homeboys getting in front regardless of walkin waiting time. They state others are appointment, however thats BS! Regardless barbers should be designated for walkins. 2 hr wait is BS! Had me waiting 2hrs before being informed all barbers were booked for the rest of the day.

Dapper Barber in Plano is a cool spot, they even have beer while you wait. Joey Mitnick is best barber Ive ever had and now only go to him exclusively.

I get my cut here all the time. Ask for Ivan. He makes sure you get the haircut and style you ask for and also gives good advice to taking care of your hair/ beard as well. Chill and clean environment. Definitely recommend all the time to everyone.

Fish took care of me. Took his time to really ensure the lines were perfect, no missed strands. I definitely feel that the guys here will always ensure you leave looking great with the hairstyle youve requested. I live on the other side of the Dallas metroplex and will be making my way out there to get future cuts.

First 2 experiences were good, the third however was terrible. I went online and put myself on the walk in wait list at around 6:30pm. I went over to dapper and there was only one other guy waiting. I didn’t get greeted or anything when I walked in which was fine with me all I wanted was a haircut. I waited around 15 min and then another couple people came in. These people were told that they were not accepting walk ins anymore. The time was 7:20pm and their hours said they closed at 8pm . After another 5 min of waiting one of the barbers asked if I had an appointment, I explained that I had gone online and I showed him the confirmation text. He then said he didn’t have my name down or anything and went to ask a barber if he could cut my hair. That barber then came over to me and said that they had a lot of appointments and didn’t out right say it but it was implied that they would not cut my hair (it was 7:30 at this point) so I said no problem thanks and walked out to my car. Then one of the barbers came out to my car and said “one of our barbers is willing to stay and cut your hair” but at that point i felt like a nuisance to them and said no. I feel like if your hours say you close at 8pm then you shouldn’t turn people away until 8pm. I understand people want to go home but I felt like I was treated poorly for something that was not my fault. I will say that some of them give great haircuts others are inconsistent, but terrible customer service.

Great service. Clean haircuts. I live miles away but every time we go to Dallas we drive there and I make sure to take my buddies. They are also very pleased. I’ve booked with Chicago and Emme very clean fades like no other. My friends go with Magic which is also really good.

I always have a hard time finding a barber for my autistic son. My son doesn’t just trust anyone and will not stay still for barbers that he feels uncomfortable with. We have booked with Chris twice and my son loves him! He is so comfortable with him that he has conversations with him!! My son is not one to have a full on conversations with random people. My son enjoys getting his haircut with Chris!! Thank you!!

The cut was really good. However, I had suffer through stories from barber to barber about chasing after girls and getting into fights. This, on top of complaining about other clients and how their kids were so bad.They also accept card, but prefer cash. That is fine, however the barber didnt like that I didnt have cash and tried to charge me for the appointment cost instead of the walk-in cost. He then went on to tell me how they only accept cash when I come back. Well, I wont be coming back.In the end, the cut was really good, but I want a barber I can trust that wont try to dig for a dollar. It just seems that this shop is concerned about immediate 25 bucks instead of a repeat customer.
