I love this nail salon, the last time I went there, I got this beautiful acrylic set. If I had to rate this establishment, 10/10 would recommend. The nails stay on and dont pop off.

They need more training they can’t do nails I ask for something simple and can’t do that plus too 3 hours to do it. Never will I return

Previously called to check for availability and price i was told $20 for what i wanted but when it was time to pay i was charged $32 the quality is poor it’s only been 2 days and the nail polish is peeling bad already wouldn’t recommend

Been here 3 times. I must say I was very patient. I didnt expect to come in around 10:45 am and leave at 1:37 pm. Tech had issues with her fan and I knew there was gonna be an issue. ...Ok so first the fan wasnt drying there for the gel they apply to harden the nails was not drying correctly and was very bendy. They didnt dry completely and I told the tech this. But them being professionals I trusted they would get hard after I left or hell over the weekend. The nails were still flimsy and bendandle so I was very careful. The tech had to reapply the nail gel hardener. Then hours later i am noticing humps in the nail under the paint I cant explain with words (Pictures coming) So tonight I am doing laundry and I notice one of the damn nails has a split and is about to break off. I am very careful doing laundry and what not. I look down at my hand and the damn nail BROKE OFF!! I paid $72 plus left the tech a $9 tip, I am very disappointed and will be going back monday to get these redone. I was not ready to sit in that chair another 2 hours more.

I’ve been going to Nail Care for just over a year. I usually get an acrylic set with gel polish every two-three weeks. I never experience lifting or broken nails. Liyah is my girl, and she always gets me right. I have had other techs before though. Ambrosia, Vivian, her husband and daughters, and Tonya have all done my nails before, and they’re all amazing. No matter how busy they are, they make sure each customer gets their money’s worth. They really get to know their regulars.

Never been disappointed....PERIOD. The quailty of all the nail services Ive received have been surperb. I must add, the pictures are of gel polish on my natural nails!

Have always had a great experience here except onna few occasions when they were too busy for a walk-in. Last time I needed a fill and they were too busy even tho there were only 2 people working. I wish they had more techs available right now because they fill up so fast. When it wasnt covid times they were always popping but the quality for price ratio is still bomb. I highly recommend this salon to everyone!

Im editing my 5 star review from last year, only because not everyone at this place is friendly. I saw a lot of recommendationsfor Martha, but she did mine, and she wasnt friendly or personable at all. She did a fine job, but I wouldnt go there again. I will leave my previous review as it originally appeared. Ill add the pictures from this time, where I got an overlay of acrylic, sans tips......I have only ever had mediocre to terrible experiences at nail salons, but nail care at Northgate Mall is AMAZING! The guy was so nice and talkative. They also accepted my appointment at the last hour, and instead of rushing me out the door so he could close on time, he made me sit for extra nail drying time so they wouldnt get messed up. If you want to get your nails done in durham, this is the only place to go!!

Ive been going to NAIL CARE the 1st day it opened. I enjoy the atmosphere and the people of this family owned business. They are friendly and courteous and Vinny always have his patrons laughing. Vivian and her daughter Trina do beautiful nails. The other women in the establishment do great work also!! I would recommend this place for sure.

The customer service was awesome and the environment was great. My nails were terrible. I received gel polish and as you can see it was not smooth. I didn’t have time to get them done over that day so I had to reschedule a time to come in which was very inconvenient! I called and spoke with Vivian who had no problem fixing them!!

Have been going to Nail Care for several years. This is not your typical Asian nail salon. Very warm and friendly family owned business with a racially diverse staff. I always receive a quality service at a fair price... always recognized and spoken to by my first name when I walk in the door. I dont go anywhere else!!

Don’t go here.My friend told me that a medium sized length with a coffin shape was around 20 dollars.I came into the store and they tried to charge me 10 for every finger they did with the coffin shape. One nail tech was really rude (I don’t know his name but he was really rude). Don’t waste your money on here

I have known Vinny and Vivian since (at least) 2002. I have been a faithful customer because the service is impeccable, personal, and they take time to make sure your nails/waxing are satisfactory and to your liking. Helpful hints are shared in order to keep your nails healthy. Any of the nail techs are capable to handle your nail care needs. The staff are diverse and the fact that it is a family owned business that has nurtured a second generation into the fold is a testament to how this business is valued. I love you guys!!

8 min wait for eyebrow wax was only 8 dollars the lady was really nice she was wearing the burgundy scrubs she asked me how I wanted my eyebrows instead of just doing them any kind of way they came out neat but one was slightly longer I couldn’t tell until I got into the sunlight so I went home and cut 1 tiny hair off and it was fixed .Haven’t gotten my eyebrows waxed in almost 2 years I feel great and look great just in time for college

I have had gel nails for many years, but since I moved to Durham and found Vivian at Nail Care, I can truly say my nails have never looked better or lasted longer between fill-ins. The salon is family-owned and has a friendly, casual atmosphere. I have tried a couple of other salons but always come back to Nail Care.

I love love love this place... Ive been getting my nails and feet done here for years,they r very professional and friendly. Vivian is my nail tech but all of the techs produce excellent work! So if u r in the area stop by I promise u wont be disappointed!!

I showed them a picture and the looks on their faces should have told me something but I stated because I’ve been there before and they do a really good job. But this time I cried at how ugly my nails looked. First of all they didn’t have time to finish my nails because of other appointments that came after I arrived. I asked for an orange ombré look with black trim and a diamond stud on my finger they couldn’t do that but instead of telling me I’d need a whole knew set for the picture I had already showed them they proceeded and waited to tell me after that I’d need a whole new set. I wish I took a before and after picture I had to go to Zully’s to get a polish change. Long story short I’ll never return because they don’t care how you look as long as you pay.

WORST. MANICURE. EVER.Went in for a basic manicure as a treat to myself, and was told there was a half hour wait. I wasnt in a rush so I waited, even though the place reeked of acetone (if only Id just left then). After half an hour, I kept asking when they could see me and they kept saying 10 minutes, 10 minutes. I ended up waiting for AN HOUR. I finally sat down with a woman who seemed like she was totally out to lunch- it seemed like shed never done a manicure before. She worked so slowly and so poorly I almost reached over and did it myself. I kept telling her that they werent smooth and that shed missed spots, and she blamed it on the polish (even if that was the case, maybe buy new polish?). She took it all off and started again, this time with a different polish from the one Id chosen. Same story- slow and sloppy. She then asked me if I wanted her to start over again, at which point Id been at the salon for almost TWO HOURS, so I said I didnt have the time to start all over a third time. She called over a woman who Im guessing is the manager, and the manager agreed that it was a botched job and shed get someone else to paint my nails. Another girl comes over and paints my nails a third time- granted she was better than the first, but I honestly could have done the job myself just as well. I got up to go and the manager came up to me behind the counter and told me shed give me a discount aka $2 off. I wish I hadnt paid for it at all. After being in there for TWO AND A HALF HOURS, I was in such a rush to get where I was going that I ended up ruining my nails within 5 minutes of getting the manicure.Unbelievable waste of time and money. Go elsewhere

This place was wonderful. I live in Durham but have been traveling to Mebane for my pedicure. I was in desperate need of one and finally had time to go this afternoon, I initially called and they told me to come on in. My husband and I did. They were so nice. I like how the salon is set up there are 2 sets of chairs for pedicures divided by a half wall. They did a great job on both my husband and I, he was very pleased and we will be returning.

Not very clean. Strong odor throughout salon. I had my eyebrows waxed and she talked on the phone the whole time. They look like a distracted person did them. I dont need to look surprised all the time... There are better places in Durham.

This establishment is family owned and they make you feel as if you are family as well. I have never had an issue with any of the services that I have requested for the past 2.5 years. I wont let anyone else do my nails!

All of her nail techs are skilled and provide superior service. Was looking for a new nail tech I was referred by a friend to see Martha and she did an amazing job was very pleased with her work definitely worth the wait and the money !!!!

When I went to this nail salon the manager quoted me 28 dollars to do a fill in but when time to pay it was 40 cause I got gel nail an when I went home 1 of the nails had broke dew to lack of acrylic and I called the owner to tell her and she said its 10 to fix it even after I just paid 40 dollars not even 24 before and she was very Rude and told me they dont honor there fill in jobs they only honor there full set jobs and told me she dont have time to talk to me cause someone else is on the other line which is and was very rude and she has a attitude problems I wouldnt refer no one to her that I knows cause all this nail salon wants is your money no matter what the outcome was and the placewas cluttered and the sinks and mirrors an floors was nasty and there was no good customer service the girl that did my nails seems new the manager kepted watching her as if she didnt no what she was doing if so why did she let her do my nails knowing my nails wouldnt last until the next day which they didnt and my nails had bubbles in them and wasnt file right and when I told the manager this she hung up on Me which is and was rude the management is rude an all they wants is your money dont go there cause they dont honor there work they dont deserve no score from Me and nobody else and the nail polish is watered down now my other nail has chipped at the tip and my other nail is lifting again this is ridiculous now I Have to go pay another nail salon to get another fill in cause this fill in is a mess and a disaster and a disgrace and i wasted my 40 dollars dealing with this salon which something need to be done about this cause the manager told me they dont honor there fill in services please dont go here

I have been a customer for about 5 years now and I had to go to other salons because of time constraints I had. I always get gel powder nails and gel polish. Since Marta has been doing my nails, I have NEVER broken a nail! I went to unique nails and the gel polish chipped everywhere and I broke 6 different nails in the same set with ended up costing me $75 for one set of nails till I got fed up and took the gel off and cut my long nails short. I went back to Nail care and Vivian did my nails and once again my nails are strong as ever! They use quality products! You get what you pay for! I knew I never should have went to another place! I wont cheat again! I love Vivians daughters and their son is awesome too! Benny has spoiled my children by feeding them, leaving the salon to bit them big bags of candy and took my suv to fill up with has during the gas shortage while I got my nails done! They are a great family and Marta is my regular nail tech. I think they are the best and they use the best products which is important to me! They remodeled the salon and it looks beautiful!

This place is great. Its diverse, the techs hold conversations with their customers and they do an amazing overall job. I came here very doubtful they could do what I wanted bc so far no salon has been able to. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they nailed it spot on. They can do so many different types designs!! Im definitly going back when Im due for a fill. I think Ive found my new nail salon!

Vivian husband did my nails.. Charged me long length price for short nails.. And had them looking Horrible!!!! They wouldnt refund.. And he was cutting skin and exposed the pink flesh on my pinky nail to the point of burning..🤢🤢🤢🤢😷 around a year ago.

As far as the customer above, if ur husband was told that the gift certificate had an expiration date, then yes, he should have paused dnt blame nail care for ur own inability to make it beforehand. As far as Im concerned, they make sure that u get what u want and are satisfied BEFORE u pay, as they should. Great customer service here! Very unprofessional staff, Vivian and Vinny hire anybody ! Use MMA, got a fungus, nasty pedicure chairs the ladies there are all unpleasant and unprofessional except Martha she is great !

Employees are okay. Owner charged me $10 for 1 nail repair because I used pink powder. Never paid more than $3 for a nail repair regardless of powder or acrylic.
