I love Annie, she is the best! She does great nails and she is always So sweet to me. Its been a while since Ive been there, but she remembered me and my whole family. Which was nice (I go there anytime I needed my nails, toes, or eyebrows done). Nancy does amazing nails nails also, and she does designs that are amazing. Im never disappointed. ☺☺☺

Very rude very unprofessional not accommodating at all. I called for a pedicure came in and was told they could not take me the day before my vacation which is fine because their work is not good at all it was just convenient I will never come here again and I suggest you save a trip and not come as well because there are plenty of other places in the same area with professional people who will not talk about you in another language under their breath and will accommodate you accordingly.Please do not give these people your money

Despite me having grubby dirty manual labor hands, Lindsy did an amazing job on my Gel Coat with a glitter layer! Ive been here a few times now and these guys are top notch, fr. Their Deluxe pedicure is to die for as well, theyll have you feeling and looking right! Make sure to tip these guys well, they deserve it!

Had my nails done on Monday, super happy with the results! The ladies there so nice and friendly. Price was good and was done fast. Also noticed the salon is refurbished since the last time Id been and now it looks really nice. Will definitely go back

I went to get my nails on Friday, and today one of my nails came off. They didn’t want to do the designs I wanted and Ann didn’t want to do my toes yellow like I wanted to, she said “purple or pink better, I’ll pick for you” I mean I’m paying for what I want, not what you want.

This is by far the best mani/pedi experience I’ve ever had in my entire existence!!! I’m really, really looking forward to my next mani/pedi!!!!

They didn’t believe I’d pay for my service because I was black. The lady was filing my nails and the lady said do you have money I said yes and she said you pay now. And I replied with but I’m not finished then the started speaking to each other in a foreign language and the land say “you no pay” and got up. This is ridiculous.

Horrible place NEVER COME HERE! They took forever on me and my mom and on top of that it was so hot in there! I asked why the air wasnt on but they say its broke... I think they just dont wanna pay for it during this pandemic. 🤷🏽‍♀️

Ashley‘s attention to detail is why she is the only nail tech I allow to do my gel pedicure. Her warm, pleasant smile and desire to please is why I keep coming back. Her customer service is impeccable and she actually enjoys doing pedicures. I wish she could do manicures too!#teamashleyallday

Unfortunately this salon has gone down hill since Lou has left and her sister took over. I have been going here for years. Customer Service and eagerness to serve has gone out the window when Lou left. They used to be so glad to help you. But Now, It is completely different. The moral has gone down hill and it is as if you are a bother to them.Fortunately, there are other salons and it is time to move on. Especially since there is only one person that apparently knows how to do the pink and white nails, all others trained for it but cant seem to get it or do it.It is very sad. Due to the lack of business and experience they had to cut back their hours from 8:00 PM to 7:00 PM.PS: Do not accept or schedule an evening appointments for this will inconvenience them. Even if you give them a 50% tip. I am sure the other salons will appreciate my service.

Ive gone to this nail salon a few times now and I can say that each time Ive left thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the pampering and service I received. They offer a lot of services for reasonable prices and although the store isnt very modern or extravagant, its very snug and adds to the comfort. I like their new point earning system. My favorite part would probably be the complimentary massages they gave me with the pedicure! And on top of my nails looking great, I kept getting compliments from coworkers and friends on the shape, color, and design days/weeks after. I highly recommend trying SNS nails. My only complaint would have to be that although the staff are all very lovely, friendly and diligent with their work, they kept talking loudly to each other in their language the entire time. I wasnt sure if they were talking about me or other customers. As much as Ive enjoyed my results each time, the experience has been a bit of a turn off. Ill keep coming though because the work itself is really great, but I hope they change!

I really love this place! The nail technicians are friendly and attentive. I found them to be precise when working on my nails, and the cost was very reasonable. They also offer other services like waxing and facials which Im curious to try on a future visit. The building is not the most luxurious (strip mall, bright lights, news on tv, etc) but they go the extra mile to try and give you a spa experience with hot towels, massage chairs, and complimentary drinks. I would definitely return here.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR LASH EXTENSION! They applied a new set and refused my business when I returned for a fill in with no reason given other than she didn’t feel confident that she could make me happy. I would not have returned if I wasn’t satisfied with the full set and would not have paid for a full set if I would’ve known that they wouldn’t fill them in. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This was terrible customer service!

This place is so amazing! They just remolded and I absolutely love it. The owner is so sweet if they are busy she will do your nails herself. Nail Max is a must if you want a peaceful relaxing day. Can’t say it enough how much I love this place.

My mom has been coming here for the past year and loves it. I usually dont do my nails but when I needed to get them done for a wedding, I definitely followed my moms suggestion and came to Nail Max. The woman who did my nails did such a great job (and my nails were not in the best condition haha). Ill be coming back to get them done again for fun :)

Ever since I moved to Duluth, I have been trying to find a nail salon that guarantees satisfaction every time I walk out that door and I have found that with Nail Max & Spa. Their service is wonderful (especially the pampering with massages) and the nail technicians are all so friendly. Ive noticed that they get quite busy, so even though they accept walk-ins, try to schedule an appointment beforehand or go during a slow time. Although, the most I have had to wait has been 20 minutes and even then, they offered me a drink and I spent that time deciding on a nail polish color! I have taken two of my friends too and they both loved their experience here. For a great price, great business, and a great job, I am so glad that I found this place and that its now my go-to salon.

It was ok. I honestly wasnt impressed. They were nice enough. Could have used another coat on nails and toes as I can see the stroke lines but not worth going back for. I probably wouldnt go back again.Update: 2 days later theres a chip already. Would not recommend. $63 for nails and toes plus $12 tip. Waste of money.

INCREDIBLY friendly and professional service. I have been here a few times now and each time theyve paid very close attention to detail and made sure I was happy and comfortable the whole time. The massage was honestly my favorite part as they took their time to massage out my knots. My SNS nails have lasted over a month (although I think its time I get a refill). Tom did my nails, and Ann did my pedicure, and I could not recommend them more!!! Ive also made several appointments with Nancy in the past!

I am a 13 year customer at Nail Max. Anna has been doing my nails pink and white for 5 years. Yes, ownership has changed but quality of service has not. Not just a “Nail Salon”!! These ladies know me by name, they know my kids names, and they are beyond considerate of my time as I am of theirs. I can go 4 weeks between visits bc ANNA takes so much time on my nails. Her work is meticulous!! Have I mentioned the MASSAGE. It’s incredible!!!!! 15 minute neck massage w deluxe pedicure. This does not replace your foot massage...which is long and awesome. ANNE knows every knot on my neck and back. I wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. If u decide to leave, good riddance. You are opening an extra time slot for me. The ladies at Nail Max work so hard, please be RESPECTFUL of this. Don’t walk in 30 minutes before closing and expect a service that takes 2 hours. Their time is as valuable as yours. I chose to go to this nail salon right before Thanksgiving after my friend had recommended it to me and I was thoroughly satisfied with the service I received. The store itself isnt highly modernized or anything, but there is a certain homey and warm feeling to it that was accompanied by an offered cup of tea, and Christmas music in the background. I decided to get a pedicure and SNS powdered nails. The time and care as well as massages put into my nails made me feel relaxed and refreshed. The price isnt cheap, but its definitely justifiable because I can see how hard these technicians work. Everyone was really nice and it takes a lot to pamper people and clean their nails and paint them, and I really admire the service that they provide. My nails were nicely coated and cleaned around the edges and shaped beautifully. I was happy with the results and would definitely recommend this salon as I will be returning myself. And especially to anyone who needs a good massage (which I am sure is most people), definitely give this place a try!

I got eyelash extensions here and I cannot praise them enough. The technician took about 1.5 hours to do both sets while I relaxed to the soothing music around me. At first I thought the eyelashes were too much (as Ive never gotten them done before) but right when I walked out that door I got compliments on them and continued to receive them for a few weeks. My longer eyelashes made me feel more confident and beautiful! Im not from the area but this is my go-to when I am. The owner and hardworking employees make every effort to make It as relaxing as possible from start to finish. Highly recommend.

I’ve come here three times when I was on vacation visiting family in the area. Every time I have come, they have taken me without an appointment! Once it was busier and I noticed they had less people working that day so it took a little while but each time they made sure I was helped. I got SNS nails done and they lasted so long! They look great and I’m always happy with the outcome. I was able to meet the owner as well and she is so kind and tentative to helping out and making sure I was satisfied.

I drive from The mall of Georiga area to Duluth because they consistently do an amazing job on my eyebrows. Im a redhead and I virtually have no visible eyebrows if theyre left natural. Ive tried other eyebrow places and never find the same quality. 5 stars over and over.

This nail salon is fantastic. Not only is there a serene and calm atmosphere but the staff is so friendly. I came in when they were pretty busy, but the manager still greeted me and gave me a water bottle while I waited for about 5 minutes for a nail technician to help me. I had a simple mani pedi but it was so relaxing and the end product was great. The massage while my nails dried hit the right spot and I am excited to return! I definitely recommend this place if youre in the area.

I stopped to get my eyebrows waxed and the technician was extremely rough and did the job in less than 5 minutes. I was so close to shoving her off of me but I didnt not want to make a scene.

I was in search of a new nail salon because the last place messed up my nails. I saw the reviews and decided to give it a try on Monday. I walk in and mind you it’s 2:30 pm. The first thing the lady tells me is that there’s no nail technicians available, come in tomorrow. Tomorrow?? It’s 2:30 pm??? And there’s was only 2 clients. Never in my life have I ever had a nail salon tell me to come “tomorrow”. Like not even a “oh come in an hour or 2 hours” but TOMORROW. Not professional at all and a terrible first impression. Took my business some place else smhhhh.

This salon is the worst. Very unprofessional. I had a scheduled appointment for 11AM to have my eyelashes done by Nancy. At 11:10 she came out from her last appointment and had her manager inform me that she’s sorry but she was not able to do my eyelashes because she had another appointment scheduled. She did not offer to fit me in then or another time but rather suggest I try a different salon. Outdated interior and overall bad vibe. #notspalike

All in all I like the nail tech Tracy, who I often visited,my issue is the level of unsatisfactory customer service always shown to me by the owner LU. I would watch her greet other ppl and ensure that they were cared for properly and I honestly never received that same treatment even as a loyal customer who tips every single time. She is always rude and condescending, very bad atmosphere for me personally although Tracy is a wonderful tech I had to find somewhere that would appreciate my business and money spent!

This is my first review but I am so in love with the results that I just had to write a review. I got SNS nails done at Nail Max & Spa the week before thanksgiving while visiting family in Georgia, so we’re about 4 weeks out now and my nails still look great!! I have to get fill-ins of course but I’m thoroughly impressed that they’ve lasted this long. Usually when I get SNS nails done at other places, by three weeks, they start to come off at the end. For example, when I run my fingers through my hair or am trying to tie my hair up, some strands will get stuck underneath the space between the polish and my nail bed. Eventually I’ll get fed up and peel off the nail coating if I don’t have time to go to a salon go take it off, and in any case that usually just ruins my nails. But this is 4 weeks out and my nails are still intact!!! I’m so happy with the results! I wish this nail salon was up north so I could go more often and be pampered with their massages and services! Thank you Nail Max and Spa!!!

My family and I have used this nail place for years. Things changed dramatically when Lou the owner sold the place to her sister and she moved away. Customer Service and eagerness to serve customers have gone out the window with Lou.They also have a gentleman there that does nails now - never had before and he gives dirty looks to everyone and rolls his eyes behind his fake gucci mask non stop.I walked in a week ago at 5PM and asked if they had time to do a manicure and pedicure. It took a long time to get acknowledged and when they finally did - the lady said they didnt have time (they close at 8PM). I tried again the next day at 2PM and they still didnt have time.In the past they all welcomed you and immediately sat you down. I hate leaving this place but Im not giving my money to be treated like this. In contrast I went to the place in the Publix shopping center, I forgot the name, and they were so nice and did great work. The new place costs a few dollars more but I will gladly pay it to be treated with respect.Nail Max needs to realize that all the employees there take the cue from the leader/owner. Lou would jump up and help everyone in the past and did my nails several times. She acknowledged everyone and thanked all customers for their business. Not so much now.

Very nice women, they always greet you at the door. I got some horrible gel nails done somewhere else...it was over layered and just a mess. I came here to get them taking out and another gel manicure, its a little expensive but she took her time and listen to what I wanted done and it came out great. She told me how much it would be $30 before she did them. If it wasnt so expensive to me this would be my main nail salon.

I have to rate 1 star because I left Nail Max around 4pm today, it us now 10pm, I just happen to scratch my left eyebrow to feel wax, yup, wax. I feel like crying because half of my left eyebrow is now missing after I carefully removed wax w baby oil. I am not going to bother myself to call because this is what I get for trusting nail salons with my thinning brows (less on learned) Instead I will use this experience to focus on getting what little brows I had to grow back. IM PRAYING & Using Moringa Powder and Castor oil mixture!

These people burned my face with a facial wax I had done . I received my money back and when I did that the lady tried putting alcohol on it. Why would someone do that?! This was an open burn ! I went to my dr today and was told this was a second degree burn . Very unprofessional and should have never happened . This place needs to have a visit from the state board of cosmetology for this reason. Save yourself from ever having waxing done at this place. 35$ back in what I paid doesn’t solve the potential scar I could be left with on my face

I came in at 7:10 on a Monday night (open until 8!) and asked for SNS. They said the girl who does that went home and asked me to come back another day. Why remain open if you can’t provide all of your services until you close?! I won’t be back. Another place is getting my business from now on!!

So the actual nail service was fine but what wasnt fine was the fact that they made it so obvious they were talking about my friends and I the entire time we were getting our services. They couldnt even be subtle about it and made me feel quite uncomfortable to the point where I had to say something to them. Then towards the end when we were paying they ASKED for a tip in cash as if a tip was guaranteed. I would not recommend nor come back to this place in the future.

I had been going to a place in Lilburn and it was good but the gel manicures werent lasting as long as they should. So I looked for a new place and found Nail Max on Google. Went in around 11:30 on a Sunday morning I was in & out. The service was great, the nail tech was polite and my nails look GREAT. Most nail salons dont let the gel manicure polish bake for as long as it should in the uv light to make a super hard candy polish these techs do it the right way! Im def going back there.

I have used this salon several times and I have also had to return several times for corrections. I liked them because they have such an adequate number of techs, and you can always get two services done at the same time. There must be major pressure to stick and move because they work too fast and make mistakes. The nail technicians appear nice and friendly as they try to up sell you everything under the sun! Whatever happened to non pressure and relaxation at the nail shop? They were nice to me, even remembering my name until I came in with concerns about a big patch of hair missing out of my eyebrow from an eyebrow wax that took almost 6 months to grow back. They were nice until I was pressured into an up sale gel French nail polish and 2 days later the polish was chipping and cracking. The manager is always an absolute rude, disrespectful person. I spend almost $100 there including tip every 2-3 weeks and I just dont understand why there is such a change in attitude when you have a legitimate complaint. I returned to the salon 2 days after having spent $100 to show the manager the chips and cracks in my nails and she said she would take care of it. I couldnt get my nails fixed that particular day because I have a small child and I needed to arrange childcare, so I came back a few days later and the manager met me at the door with a rude attitude and said that she could only paint over the gel that was cracked and if I wanted it redone it would cost me extra money. By this time 2 nails had broken which is unusual if the gel is applied properly. Needless to say they painted over the bad gel job, and didnt apologize for my inconvenience. What happened to customer service? BTW, I have never seen them sterilize anything. I hope for the sake of this nail shop the manager gets an attitude adjustment because they will never get another penny of my money or another second of my time! They should be renamed Nail Minimum!

So I got acrylics done here. When I asked them to remove them, they did not soak them in acetone. It felt like my nail was being ripped off. If you are a nail artist or whatever, you should know to not just rip off the acrylics with gel. You have to soak it in acetone. I should not have to ask you. To be honest, going here for many years, I can tell you that the price is not equivalent to the quality.

I came here and got a gel manicure which was 30$. At first it looked very mive; however after a week they peeled off and when I went back the lady said they would not redo them. Personally I dont think it is worth 30$ for gen nails that come off after a single week. I was pretty disappointed.

Nails broke down to my skin the next day after the tech over filed them. The manager accused me of damaging them when my nails were just fine before I went there. I made them fix it for free and will not be returning.
