I called Summit Heating & A/C to put in a humidifier in my home. The customer service was outstanding! They were able to put our humidifier in the next day. Craig was very knowledgeable and friendly. AC quit on the first hot day. I called Summit Heating & A/Cat 8:20 am and their guy was at the door at 9:30 am! Other companies told us sometime next week. He is very knowledgeable and very polite. He was here 2 hours and got the system working better than it ever has - we were very impressed and definitely recommend Summit Heating & A/C.
Jake and his crew did a great job installing a tankless water heater in our house. They were professional, quick, and clear communicators, and quickly resolved a minor change requested by the inspector.The only downside of our experience was that our initial surveyor understated how intrusive the venting pipes would be. Were still happy with the solution, but it does take up more space than expected. We will gladly go to Summit Heating again, but next time well request a more precise picture of exactly what the end state will look like.
Just recently had them out installing a whole house humidifier and an air purification system. while the bid was a little bit more than other contractors I was so impressed with other work I had them do in the past that I decided to have them do this job. As I thought they did an excellent job and were very respectful of all safety protocols in my house due to the pandemic. Definitely recommend them.
We had an excellent experience working with Summit Heating and Air Conditioning. It was hard to find a company that would also install ductwork at our home and Jeremy came out promptly and spend a good amount of time looking at our property and planning where everything would go before even giving us an estimate. The price was very competitive with other estimates we received. Tanner and Jacob who came out for the install were thoughtful in wearing masks while in our home, putting down coverings to down to protect the carpets, and always left our house clean and tidy. They were extremely helpful and kind in answering all our questions and meeting our requests through the process of the install. They did an excellent job and we now have a wonderfully warm home. I cant recommend them highly enough!
Not willing to reinstall equipment I had at my shop into my new shop because of their warranty issues. Doesn’t make sense because I wasn’t asking for a warranty I was just asking for them to come reconnect and recharge my unit if there any leaks or problems with anything it would have just led to more work for the company
We had such a good experience with Summit Heating & Air Conditioning when we got a new air conditioner last summer that we turned to them again when we needed a new furnace. Technicians CRAIG and CODY did an excellent job for us. Arriving on time, wearing masks and foot covers, they laid out tarps to protect floors and carpets and proceeded to do a thorough job removing the old and installing the new furnace, and cleaning up when done. They answered any questions I had about the process and Craig did a good job explaining how to operate our new thermostat. BRIAN, who came to assess which replacement furnace would best fit our needs, also did a good job of making sure our needs were met. Based on consistently high levels of service we will continue to look to Summit for our HVAC needs.
After a construction add-on to our home Summit replaced our old furnace and A.C. units. Timely appointments and installation along with knowledgeable representatives, Jeremy, Joseph & Sal, are a trademark of Summit. We have used them for many years for annual checkups to needed repairs. No need to look anywhere else!

Had ongoing issues with an AC unit. Summit worked with us to diagnose and fix the issue. Ultimately, we needed to completely replace the AC unit, line set, and coil. Craig, Sal, and Mitch did an outstanding job. Very professional and communicative throughout the process. Willing to answer any questions or concerns. Very respectful of our home and property, even going so far as getting a different color of line hide material that blended in better with the color of the house. I am beyond pleased with Summit. From first call, to job completion everyone was pleasant, knowledgeable and friendly. We had to replace both the AC unit, and furnace. Craig and Sal showed up right on time. They were both friendly and respectful of the property. Once the project was finished, they did an amazing job cleaning up. My furnace was having small explosions that filled the basement with smoke and gas. Summit was extremely professional on the phone and came out that day. Jake and Shane were very respectful of my home and the situation and installed a new furnace the same day. Great business to work with!

When our HVAC unit met the end of its lifespan we had three different companies come out to give us quotes to have the a/c and furnace replaced. Although Summit Heating and A/C were not the cheapest, they were in my opinion the best quality and most professional. Brian, Tanner, and Jamaal were awesome! Brian had a great knowledge of HVAC systems (particularly mini-splits) and he figured out a great solution of how to install it in our 100+ year old home. Tanner and Jamaal were quick with the install, insightful by describing what they were doing, and were thorough with their work. All 3 were super friendly and were very aware of social distancing by wearing masks and shoe covers any time they came in our home. Great experience all around!
They came out quick for a no heat call. Jake was a very nice guy and fixed the problem, however, cost was $750 to replace a Honeywell VR8215S1248 Gas Valve.
We had to change our cooling system and we got so lucky with this company. We had Craig and Saul as technicians and I cannot thank them enough for such an outstanding service. They were on time, extremely polite, they laid down the sheets on the floor, wore masks and put shoe covers. I was working from home on the phone, and both of them were so respectful about the noise, Craig even rushed to close the front door when he heard to lawn mowers outside so I can have continue my call without any noise. If I could give them 10 starts, I would!
I woke up to my heater not working. I called a few places and no one had availability. I looked on google and found Summit. They were able to meet me with in a few hours. Joshua L from Summit was dispatched and met me at my house. Joshua was extremely professional. He gave me his evaluation and I agreed. The work was preformed professionally and quickly. I would recommend Joshua and Summit hands down!
Summit removed a swamp cooler and replaced an air conditioner that worked well for a year. When we started having issues this spring, they sent their best and brightest to remedy the situation. They stand by their service and hire great people that are knowledgeable. We would do business them again in heart beat.

He found the issue, explained everything to me and then provided a repair that most companys wouldnt have taken the time to deal with. I contacted Summit for an A/C check up when I first bought my home last summer and Brian came to evaluate any issues. He was great, taught me a lot about how to care for the unit and was very polite and knowledgeable. Since that time, I had a furnace issue as well---Summit responded right away and Brian came out again, repaired the problem, and again, gave me pertinent advice regarding how to care for the furnace appropriately. I went with Summit while trying to find a new HVAC company after my previous one continuously disappointed me. It was a night and day difference. I needed a quote on some work and maintenance. Jeremy arrived on time and was very helpful. He gave me some pointers on operating my Lennox A/C in cooler weather as well as taking a look at my furnace. While I wasnt charged I did ask for pricing for future maintenance and the prices were more than fair to me. Ill definitely be going with Summit for future work and was very impressed with Jeremys knowledge and helpfulness. It was also nice that I didnt have to ask him to where a mask either (infant at home) as he already had one on.
My family has been having persistent furnace issues since our most recent cold snap began. We have an annual service plan with a different HVAC company, so they were our first place to go in trying to address things. We’ve had them out three times now, and all we’ve gotten from them are quick fixes that would fail within hours and heavy sales pitches (including from the manager we asked to come review the decision of the technicians) to spend thousands of dollars with them for overly complex repairs or new furnace systems.We decided that a second opinion would be valuable before we made a multi thousand dollar decision, so we reached out to Summit. I submitted a request on Yelp and was called back within minutes - this was after 6PM on a Monday. The scheduler managed to get us an appointment on the next day (no heat situation). Our technician, Ben Andrews, called us when he was on his way and showed up at the beginning of his scheduled window. He allowed me to explain what was going on and what our previous HVAC repair technicians have told us. He then systematically dismantled our furnace in order to diagnose the problem himself while I watched. He explained what he was doing while answering any questions I asked. After persistently examining our furnace, Ben identified a significant blockage in our furnace’s condensation drain system that our previous HVAC technicians had failed to find during each of their three visits. After cleaning out the condensation the clog unleashed and vacuuming out the debris, Ben reassembled our furnace. It has been working continuously since then.Our previous HVAC technicians would “fix” our system so that it would fail within hours and tell us that we needed to pay them thousands to repair the issue. Ben listen to our problem and took an interest in actually trying to resolve it. He investigated and cleared all potential sources triggering the error. As a result, his repairs have been working for several days now. Even if our furnace is on it’s last legs and will eventually need to be replaced, it gives me piece of mind to know that Summit’s technicians will do their absolute best to honestly assess and fix the situation before suggesting costly repairs or replacements. THANK YOU Summit - and specifically Ben - I would enthusiastically recommend you to any of my friends or family.
I previously had written a 5-star review and was a big fan of Summit and am really sad to have to update my review. My first few experiences with Summit were so great (Josh and JT are amazing!). I even recommended them to several friends who became Summit customers and made major purchases with them. However I had three negative experiences in a row during the month of May and feel disrespected and not valued as a customer. The final visit in this disappointing set of three visits was with Chris, who was absolutely patronizing, dismissive and gave me the most ridiculous quotes on a system (about $7,000-10,000 higher than other companies) and couldnt even be bothered to explain the issue to me. He had come before and missed the problem entirely. Then Ben came a couple of weeks later, misdiagnosed and fixed the wrong thing and said that someone else would come to talk about options to fix or replace. When Chris came a couple of weeks later, he just went straight to telling me about the new system I needed to get. When I asked questions about fixing the issue he just stared at me and finally he said Oh, I dont know what Ben found. I didnt read his notes. Im just here to sell you a new system.I realized that my positive experiences were dependent on a couple of great technicians and apparently are not the standard across the company. So it is hit or miss. Hopefully you get one of the fantastic technicians who is kind and demonstrates the integrity that the company prides itself on. Otherwise, you may end up getting someone who misses the issues, misdiagnoses the issue, fixes the wrong thing, sells you something you dont need and that doesnt fix the problem, and then you are stuck with a broken AC and trying to get a refund like I am. I have contacted the company about refunding the membership I was sold along with the misdiagnosis and repair that didnt fix the issue. The membership made sense when having that work done but doesnt make sense when it was the incorrect fix and I will no longer be using them as my HVAC company. I have waited 12 days to hear back from them but it seems that their customer service has gotten worse, just like their technicians. Very sad and definitely makes me regret the friends I have wholeheartedly recommended (who I will be reaching out to to share this experience as well).
Wonderful people. Everyone we have been in contact with is polite and knowledgeable. And they always answer the phone. We won’t go to anyone else.I found them randomly some time ago when my children were in diapers. The A/C went out, and my house was 95 degrees. They came over and did everything they could to fix my lousy condenser. Never pressured me to get as new one, though they weren’t certain how long it would last. They ended up fixing it...even ran home to get a part.It is a good feeling to be able to trust a company.

Im a customer, and nothing more, but I feel a strong argument can be made that this is the only review you need to read. Short version: this is a company made of truly honorable and respectful people who will work to do the right thing for you and your family. If you need HVAC work, hire Summit.After a poor experience with another HVAC company, I had Summit out to diagnose and repair the AC in my Central Park home in 2016. They did a great job and did not try to upsell me on a full replacement; instead, the tech showed me clearly what was wrong (leaking AC coil) and a sales rep came out to quote replacing the failed component. Summit continued to perform routine service and inspection when I sold a few years later.Purchased a home in 2019 with a 30+ year old HVAC system. Inspection reported that is was working, but barely, and wildly inefficient for today’s standards. Reached out to a handful of companies to get quotes for (1) a complete rebuild of the existing HVAC system as well as relocating it 20 feet across the basement, (2) install of an entirely new system with new ducts in the attic for the upstairs, (3) whole home steam humidifier, & (4) tankless water heater. This was a massive project, and Summit came in with a competitive bid but our decision was influenced based on our experience with them as fair dealers and their commitment – in writing – to do it right or make it right.Lennox – Summit’s supplier of major HVAC components – made promises for a NexGen system to Summit who made those promises to our family. In short, the promise was for a single outdoor compressor unit that could variably provide the necessary heating and cooling needs to the two independent indoor systems and be controlled by the latest smart wifi enabled thermostat panels (S30).The install could not have gone better, and Craig was an absolute workhorse who refused to take any shortcuts. There were a couple of minor hitches once the system was finished, but Summit was incredibly responsive and out within a day to address each minor hiccup – completely understandable for a project of this size and scope utilizing a newly released NexGen system that many of the tech’s were unfamiliar with. Josh stayed nearly 4 hours – well into the night and well after his shift ended – trying to diagnose a programming bug on the control module from Lennox. Every tech and installer and sales person who stepped into our home treated it like their own and treated us with respect.Unfortunately, Lennox failed to develop and commercialize the promised panels for this NexGen system. And after a full year of Summit working tirelessly with Lennox to get some solution, we made the incredibly tough call to request that Summit honor their guarantee and replace the year-old system with two fully independent outdoor units (XP20). Summit did not fight us. Summit did not pull the Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde some contractors do when you draw a hard line on problems needing remedied. No good cop, bad cop. Just honor and respect. Summit simply asked for our patience while they fought hard to get Lennox to help them cover a portion of the costs of a system swap.In two weeks, Summit will – at great cost to themselves – honor their word and install two new top of the line independent compressor units. If you’re looking to find an HVAC contractor that will encounter zero issues, I can’t help you and neither can Summit. If you’re looking for one that is going to be truly top notch in every action and interaction, and, should a problem arise, own it completely and honor their word to make it right, then I simply cannot imagine a scenario where you will be unhappy if you decide to hire Summit.
EDIT 2: Disapointed. The new AC coil installed by Summit is not entirely compatible with my existing furnace after being told it would be. The result is my furnace overheating. The technicians have been great, the owner even came out to look alongside a technician only to confirm that yes, my furnace is not working properly due to the new coil. Of course I can get a new furnace (on my dime). After telling them I was told this would work, the owner said he would talk with the other owner to come up with a solution. I have not heard back.EDIT: Benjamin came by in the fall for some furnace issues and was great. Took the time to teach me how the system works and how I can maintain it to prevent problems before they even happen. Thanks again!Had AC installed in addition to my existing furnace system. Had some unique circumstances with my furnace that led to some difficulties but the entire team put in the extra effort to make sure it was running smoothly. Brian and Topher even came out on a Friday evening to make sure the settings on my thermostat were correct and Chris fixed an electrical issue on my condenser right away, running great. Definitely recommend.
Charlie came by today to do a check-up on my furnace and was amazing! He explained everything he was doing, went over how to maintain the furnace, and was very patient with all of my questions. Plus, their invoice was $800 cheaper than an estimate from one of their competitors. Thank you Charlie and Summit Heating & AC for everything! My husband and I found this company online and decided to give them a chance. We are so glad we did. Every time we have had an appointment they are always way earlier then expected which is great. And the guys they have working for them are just the best. Today we had Craig and Sal installing a new system and they were just absolutely amazing. So nice, polite and quick.
I recommend Summit Heating and AC. Great service and my new AC seems to be working fine. They spend a good amount of time up front performing a full load calculation to ensure the AC unit is properly sized. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable and well organized. I had some difficulties with the final inspection process so not giving them 5 stars; I will mention they seem to have corrected the problem with the process so hopefully it is better for you.
We recently had the A/C acting up, and after finding out that the unit was 23+- years old, and we knew the furnace was 29 years old, it didnt make sense to repair it and not replace both of them. Their price was very competitive, they were very professional, they were sure to watch our animals during the installation and clean up everything that cats look at as toys!! Joshua was great to work with - they have great employees!
Just had installed today a new furnace and air conditioner. The lead installer, Craig, was very knowledgeable, courteous, neat, etc. in short, he was terrific. The company was competitive, and honored the contract entirely. A treat to hire such pleasant and efficient people.Surprisingly, I found them through a search on Google. I had no contacts, nor allegiance anywhere. The ratings convinced me, the sales rep did a very good job.

Brian came out today and quickly got our AC back up and running. This is the fourth time Ive used Summit Heating and Air and every technician has been on time, the scheduling coordinator always calls back when I leave a message, I always get a nice courtesy call 30 minutes before they arrive and they always try to provide me the most economical solution. Im a huge fan and this is a great company. Join their Summit club its a great deal and you get prioritized service.

WOW!! I will never have a need for another heating or air conditioning company! I have had a number of bad experiences with contractors over the years: from missed appointments, to pushy salespeople, and even attempts to overcharge and overprice, but I experienced none of that with Summit Heating & AC. My experience started with a wonderful woman on the phone named Dianne. She is a hoot! Then, from the time Jeremy entered my home (with shoe covers) to provide what he called “a guaranteed proposal” with no hidden fees and a “proposed investment guarantee,” they exceeded my expectations.Jeremy spoke so highly of the company ownership and their commitment to excellence I decided I could trust them with the work I needed done. Not to mention Summit was very fairly priced compared to a number of other companies I had bid the work. A couple of companies never even followed up with me after they left or ever even got me a price!Jeremy explained every step of the process and never made me feel pressured. The installation crew showed up bright and early as promised just 3 days later. They were courteous and meticulous about the work they were doing throughout the day, even putting up with my daughter asking them a million questions! (Like “What are you doing?” “What are you doing now?” “Why is it so hot in here?” “Are you done?” “Are you done now?”) At the end, Jack set up and explained how my new thermostat would work and sync to my phone and Joseph walked the entire job with me at the end of the day. He even called me a few hours later just to check in and make sure the house had cooled down to the set temperature! If you’re looking for a wonderful, family friendly company that will treat you with respect, Summit is the right choice
Summit Heating is a very responsive company and they get back to you very quickly, which is not common these days. They fixed all our issues and both Chris and Charley were very eager to help and professional. Id recommend these guys to anyone. Especially if you have an emergency, they are on it.
My wife and I just moved into a new home and called Summit to check our furnace and A/C units. Josh came by the house and spent nearly 3 hours thoroughly checking everything. Absolutely the best HVAC experience ever! I came home on Sunday evening from the mountains to discover my AC was not working. I called about 12-15 companies and left messages with answering services. I immediately got a call back from Summit and they quickly booked me an appointment at my convenience for Monday. **side note- only 2 other companies called back Sunday night and both were light years away from the call I got from Summit. One told me I would need a new system on that call. The other said $200 trip and inspection cost and it doesn’t apply towards any labor....Really? You don’t even know what my system is. Now for the Summit experience! Brian my tech called to let me know he was on his way, which I had requested and he actually did! He was friendly, professional, and immediately assessed my AC unit and found the problem. A quick trip out to his van and the part was replaced. He checked out the rest of my system and we were done. While my system is older, he never gave the “you have to replace this whole thing” pitch. He advised of the status of the unit, made a few suggestions and we were all done. I highly recommend you call Summit for all your heating and A/C needs. Thank you Summit and thank you Brian! I hit the jackpot today when I contacted them.

I hired Summit to clean my condenser unit. Their technician showed up and only sent me an estimate for cleaning it, on top of the $100 they charged for him to simply show up - I already knew the unit needed to be cleaned, did not need to pay someone to tell me that.
Our air conditioning unit had gone out unexpectedly over the exceptionally hot July 4th weekend. After spending almost $1K in attempted repairs with another company, our air conditioning was still broken and we were left with a $4K quote for a new system. At this point, I had accepted the fact that our unit was likely beyond repair despite it being the first of 16 original units in our building to fail. For peace of mind, I decided to reach out to a few more companies for comparable bids.I contacted Summit Heating and A/C, who right away seemed far more friendly and professional than other companies I had reached out to. They provided me with several available openings and let me know the name of the technician that would be coming out. Summit emailed a reminder the day prior and Josh called ahead of time to let me know he was on his way and showed up right on time.Josh had prepared some information about the company and cooling units, but decided to take a look at our broken unit prior to diving into taking measurements and sizing for a new unit. After popping off the cover, he immediately noticed several areas of concern with the previous company’s electrical work. After grabbing his tools and a new capacitor to replace the brand new one the previous company had blown, he diligently worked on fixing multiple electrical wiring issues with the unit all while carrying on casual conversation. Within 45 minutes, he had our unit up and running, blowing cold air! He let us know a replacement would not be necessary at this time. WOW!!It’s such a rare find these days to discover a service company that’s as honest, friendly, professional, and competent as Summit Heating and A/C. I’ve already recommended them to friends, family, and neighbors and wouldn’t hesitate to reach out again when the inevitable time comes to replace our AC unit. Great job Summit and THANK YOU again!

The repairs were done with no additional cost to me, which is not the norm. Craig was so friendly and polite, as well as Sal who is an apprentice. I highly recommend Summit.

I have been a satisfied Summit Heating customer since they installed an evaporative cooler at my house 15 years ago. Summit services the cooler twice a year and checks the boiler during the October visit to close the cooler for winter. Prior to Summit, I had a series of bad experiences with furnace repair outfits. Thankfully, those days are past. I dealt with Summit owners Dean and Bill for years and now am serviced by Josh. Without fail, the Summit representative Ive dealt with is punctual, dependable, professional and pleasant. Summits work is excellent, and their price is fair. There were a few times, thankfully not recent, where my heat went out on a winter weekend. Regardless, I was always able to reach Summit and have someone come out and take care of the boiler issue.Summit has grown considerably in recent years and grown almost exponentially since my first dealings with them 15 years ago. But their personal service has not waned one bit. Summit is a very fair company that does outstanding work, a company I know I can trust.

They were prompt, neat in our house, and cleaned and inspected the furnace. They didnt charge us for anything we didnt need and clearly explained what is good and what to keep an eye on. Our furnace is 15 years old and not the best brand, but they didnt try to sell us a replacement or a bunch of work we dont need. They were very honest and I will use them again in the future - they are now our heating and air-conditioning guys! Excellent company with excellent service!Update - our old furnace finally died. Summit tried to fix it, but it just wasnt worth it, so I had them install a replacement. They did a great job and were very fair with the price, I am super happy with the new one and their work. I will continue to use their maintenance service and highly recommend them!

It would be great if this company actually responded to my calls. The first time I called, my call was answered by an answering service. They took my information down, and said to expect a call. Six days later, I called them back, same thing, their answering service took my information, and said someone would call me. I still have not heard from anyone. Granted, I called yesterday, I still expect a call back, especially since I called during business hours. On both occasions, at the start of the week. I guess they arent hurting for business. No worries. I can take my business elsewhere. UPDATE: It is now the 24th of September, and they never called.
I called Summit on a Friday morning last minute for an emergency water loss our customer had - with water going through the HVAC system. Summit listened thoroughly to the issue over the phone and sent Justin out right away to help my team and our customer. He had an inspection done and water back to hot in a short amount of time and was extremely professional and kind. Highly recommend the Summit team for any of your needs!

Joshua did a great job diagnosing an issue with both our AC and our Nest thermostat. When I provided Nest with a copy of the invoice the technician said it was the most detailed description of troubleshooting she’d ever seen and agreed to send us a new thermostat with little more effort on my part. Definitely recommend! Everything was very professional - from the first call and the lady that answered the phone to the e-mail confirmation and phone call of the technician 30 minutes out. Chris was super nice and knowledgeable and fixed the furnace quickly and without any issues.
UPDATED 10/29/19: Ive added a 5th star because of how much Summit seems to be committed to doing what is right. They have gone above and beyond in this capacity and I would recommend them to anyone.Trust is the most important factor when working with a company like this. I completely trust these guys. I trusted them regarding what work we needed. They started with a small job to try and resolve our issue, and then had to do more. Their founders were at our house several times (at no charge) to try and understand the problem. I also trusted that they would get it done right. Their crew spent days at our house making sure the work was done right and in a way that completely minimized the impact to our homes aesthetics.The only reason I had to take a star off the rating was because of communication. There was a month-long period when they were trying to diagnose our problem and getting called back or scheduled was difficult. At the end they never let us know when they were coming to finish the job and just showed up. Everything worked out fine and everyone was incredibly nice along the way.
Called up on a Saturday and the ladies that took the call were very helpful in determining what kind of visit we needed. Bill came out and diagnosed our AC problem and had one of his guys out 2 days later to take care of everything. The whole organization from top to bottom is great.
I called Summit Heating and A/C, and they had someone out to me the next day to evaluate my home for central A/C installation.Brennan was very professional and explained the proper sizing and equipment needed for this job.Two days after I decided to go with Summit, technicians were at my house and got the system installed. They were skilled and knowledgeable and did the entire job in 6 hours.I cant wait for summer so that I can finally enjoy my awesome new A/C.

I had a great experience with Summit Heating and Air. My furnace went down and I called around trying to find someone to fix it. Their prices were the most reasonable of those I had called and they were very polite and understanding over the phone. Their tech CW was very knowledgeable and had our furnace figured out and fixed very quickly. Summit made a very stressful situation much easier.
We are a 2nd time customer with Summit and are still pleased with their service. Charlie came out to fix our A/C today and was both professional and knowledgeable. My only complaint is that we were charged a significantly higher amount for the exact same thing we had done just a couple of years ago. Im aware this company has taken off and has grown a lot since the last time they came out, but the new price was still hard to digest just for adding some refrigerant. Went from a little over $100 to $330 this time. I still highly reccomend them though.
Im very pleased with work done by Summit Heating & A/C. Jeremy was non-gimmicky and very straight forward and knowledgeable. Sal, Joseph, Ian, and Ray were all kind and hard-working. They all were good to my dog and showed no-judgement with my house and various projects. Cant speak highly enough of this company.
I had a great experience working with everyone at Summit Heating & A/C. My furnace went out on Monday night and they were willing to come by that same night. I worked with Chris (very responsive, helpful and straightforward) to determine my options and I decided to replace my 17 year old furnace. The new furnace was installed and running by Thursday and I have been completely satisfied. I was lucky enough to have the two owners running the install and it was obvious they really cared about the quality of work. The installation was quick and they even made a few other extra fixes and enhancements to the furnace setup like fixing the old drain spout. From the moment Jeremy arrived (on time) to give us a bid, to the time the technicians left after the installation, we were completely impressed with Summit. Jeremy was professional, knowledgeable, and personable, taking all the time necessary to diagnose our needs with the correct product. Although the project required an extra day to install, the price quoted never varied. We would not consider doing business with any other company. If you call Summit, you will not be disappointed!
Summit Heating & AC are extremely professional. Our experience was with Brennan who I believe is no longer with the company but they backed up their work. Our furnace broke down 6 months after buying our house and Brennan was determined to find the issue. After installing a new blower, the issue persisted so I was not charged for any work after since their initial diagnosis was incorrect. They did accidentally put a hole from the basement through our would floor but it was very minor and we filled it up with putty. We also used them for a small vent leak we had in our master bathroom. Reasonable pricing and efficient work.

If you are looking for a company that genuinely cares about you, Summit Heating & A/C is the answer. After retuning from work on a sweltering summer afternoon, I saw that my thermostat was not working and my house felt like an oven. With the next 4 days projecting 95+ degrees, every company that I called didn’t seem to see the predicament I was in, and said that it would take several days, maybe even two to three weeks for a technician to come out. Then I called Summit Heating & A/C. Not only did the gal that answered the phone, Dianne, make me feel important right away, but she rearranged some things on their schedule and got a technician to my house within a couple of hours! Josh - the technician, was extremely professional, explained thoroughly what had happened to my thermostat and my system, and took care of the issue in less than an hour. After this experience, I am proud to say that I have found a company in Summit Heating & AC that I trust, and will be my soul source for my HVAC needs in the future.
We called Summit Air Conditioning after finding them on the Lennox website. Brennan came out to diagnose our A/C unit which was not working. He recommended we replace the blower motor on the furnace proactively due to age and efficiency and determined that the A/C unit outside had a leak. Due to age, we decided to replace the whole A/C unit. Brennan was professional, courteous, and did not pressure us in anyway to upgrade the equipment, but gave us all the options for repair vs. new. Summit provides their techs with a price book so that everything is transparent, easy to understand, and fairly priced.Brennan did a great job installing the unit himself and everything is working great. The new blower motor is whisper quiet.We highly recommend Brennan and Summit A/C!
Brennan came out to diagnose my inoperable air conditioning unit. He was courteous and professional; clearly reviewed what he was going to do before doing it and provided me his feedback after making his assessments. I wasnt able to afford all recommendations; however, he gave me his input on what I needed to do to my AC running within my budget. This firm is truly the best in Denver for quality and customer service...our experience has been that they will go above and beyond to ensure you are happy. JT, their new manager, personally oversaw our installation to make sure it went well (which they did an excellent job with their installers Chris and Mogan). After completion, we noticed the upstairs thermostat was not in an optimal place to properly read the temperature (the draft from downstairs was making the system upstairs feel colder than it was). Even though Summit put in the thermostat in the exact same place the old owners had it, JT immediately said they would come by to move it to a better location so we could sleep better at night. This involves opening up our wall and doing minor construction...any other company would have either charged for this or would have told you to call a contractor...instead, Summit takes full pride in ensuring you are full satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend them!
I definitely recommend Summit. They did an excellent job with my furnace install. The job included reworking some existing ducts in an old home and they handled the task confidently. They listened to my complaints about the old system and ensured the new installation addressed those problems. A furnace install isnt cheap, obviously, but its reassuring to know that your money was spent on quality.
I recently purchased a home and it desperately needed a new furnace, and I also wished to replace the swamp cooler with central AC. All in all I invested about $16k with Summit Heating & A/C to do the job to install two high efficiency units. And all in all, Im happy with the installation, have a positive feeling about all interactions with the technicians, and truly believe Summit will be there if I have any issues.So why the sub-5 star review? For me it boils down to one thing: communication breakdown. A week before the install I got a general tentative proposal date for work to start. One day before the install, this was not confirmed. I left a voicemail with my Summit project manager, who did not respond, except on the following day to tell me the techs were on their way. What?...The first day, work started and the techs were extremely nice and courteous. The furnace was not completed the first day, but HVAC is a complicated business especially for a crawl space install, so I did not mind using portable heaters for a night. However it was indicated that sufficient/appropriate parts were not brought on the first day.... perhaps yet another communication breakdown?The second and final day of the install, the furnace and AC were up and running. Again the techs were amazing and very courteous and professional. There were some issues getting the smart thermostat installed - no problem, technology is complicated and sometimes there are issues. I was told my project manager would call me to get another tech sent out to fix it.A few business days later, I called my project manager, who had no idea that the thermostat was not set up. Another communication breakdown.Several business days after that, I still did not hear anything from my project manager or the company to get something on the calendar. I texted my project manager who said the office would reach out ASAP to get that scheduled. Several business days after that, silence. Another communication breakdown.I ended up calling the office directly, who sent a tech out first thing the following morning, and as usual the tech was extremely nice, efficient, courteous, and patient.I would have been content if someone followed through and told me the fix would be 2 weeks out. After all, fixing a thermostat is a lesser priority than getting someone elses heat back up and running and I dont have any conception that my work is most important. But throughout the process, it felt a bit like pulling teeth to get any sort of response or commitment. It seems that the different moving parts of Summit do not always communicate with each other - or at least, they did not in my case. And for such a large amount of money invested, that is a big disappointment.I trust Summit with my heating/cooling maintenance, because the techs were always very professional, but for a large project, be prepared for this potential deficiency in communication.In summary:Professionalism / quality of work: 10/10Courtesy / respect: 10/10Communication / responsiveness: 2/10
Summit Heating and A/C was absolutely fantastic. We had several places look at our A/C and felt many of them were trying to sell us more than we needed. Summit was honest with us from the beginning and gave us a variety of options with different price points from which to choose. We never felt pressured to pick the most expensive option or that they were steering us towards a specific option; they presented all of the options for our home equally and explained the pros and cons of each one. We had to replace both our furnace and A/C unit and we couldnt be happier with the finished product. Our house immediately felt ten degrees cooler! Craig and Sal were absolutely fantastic- Craig even called me before he arrived and asked if he could get me a coffee! Craig and Sal did a great job- they were able to replace our furnace and A/C in one day; in fact, Craig went out of his way to ask me if he and Sal could stay later to finish the job in one day so we didnt have to worry about not having A/C even for a few hours. This really meant a lot to me since I am six months pregnant and the heat has really gotten to me. Craig and Sal were so nice and I felt completely comfortable having them in my home. They taught me and my husband how to use everything for our new system and answered every question that we had. They made a point of running the heater after the furnace was installed to make sure that it was working and so we wouldnt have to deal with the weird heater smell the first time we run the heat in the winter. I couldnt even tell they were here while they were working and when they left at the end of the day- everything was clean and exactly where it was supposed to be. You can tell Craig and Sal really care about their work, they care about providing the best customer service, and are incredibly respectful of peoples homes. They were also fantastic with our beagle and didnt complain once when she would bother them while they were working. Im so happy we chose to go with Summit- our house feels a million times better, the price was incredibly reasonable, their advice was honest, and the workmanship by Craig and Sal is top notch. If you need someone to work on your heating/cooling system or just need an honest assessment, I recommend going with Summit. I also highly recommend asking for Craig and Sal to do the work in your home- they are the epitome of exemplary customer service and you will be nothing but satisfied with their workmanship.
We had an excellent experience with Summit Heating and A/C. Our Breezair evaporative cooler went out, and we called a different company that wanted $1200 to replace the circuitry (for controlling the variable speed motor). The gentleman from Summit was able to re attach a wire which had vibrated loose. Only $190 (including their club membership). Still running like a champ. Will definitely be using them to upgrade to AC in a year or two.
