Joseph Romero came out to check/maintain our AC unit and prepare it for summer weather earlier this year.Got here on time, showed me his credentials and climbed to roof to test my AC unit. Unfortunately, the day was too cool to get a good reading however he checked and wiped down unit. He checked thermostat in my house. Everything was in working order. He was professional, respectful, nice and helpful. He knew what he was doing and he wore his mask and covered his shoes so he could come in my house. He is great, I recommend Joseph and I recommend Dr Fix It.Had central air installed over a year ago and the family could not be happier!

Danny, our service technician, was on time, polite, and was able to deal with five excited dogs that wanted his attention all while continuing to perform his work. Very personable and friendly. The entire process from scheduling an appointment to the appointment itself was streamlined and easy. Danny was also able to recommend additional services we could take advantage of in the future with Doctor Fix-It.

Our technician was on time, professional, explained what he would be doing, was Covid conscious and after the service he reviewed everything with me on the checklist and showed me the pics he took. I was very happy that they cleaned up nicely before leaving.

Our technician, Will, was fantastic. He was professional, diligent, and friendly. He had to leave to pick up a part for us, and had to go to seven different stores to find it, and still managed to complete the job same day. They bill by the project, not the hour, so he really went above and beyond to take care of us, without nickel-and-diming. I really enjoyed this experience and will be using their services again.

Do not trust a word they tell you. They tell you everything will be great and work to your expectation when they know it won’t. They tell you this because they do not want to be bothered. I’m extremely unsatisfied with the sewer work they redid. I’m happy with the electrical work they did but who’s to be sure given their lack of quality and inattention to detail. I guess if my house burns down I’ll know how good the electric work really was. Granted, if being evaluated on changing my HVAC filters then they did great. Other than that seriously disappointed and will be looking elsewhere to service my home. Live and learn.

The team arrived on time and they were very professional. They made sure that our home was well protected and they did a great job of cleanup after the installations. Most importantly, they did the installations in a very efficient and professional manner. There were some difficult challenges with getting the furnace in a tight spot but they conquered the challenge. I would rate this team very high because of their technical skills, their overall great communication and their professionalism.

I cant begin to tell you how happy I am with the outcome of the service call to unclog my bathroom sink drain.In total, 2 plumbers tried to open the drain without success. The third company came and offered to open the wall in my closet, cut the pipe and see whats going on. I was almost ready to hire them, but decided to give it one more try. Jay came on time, and without any issues was able to open the drain. He was careful not to damage the old galvanized steel pipes. The best part is, since I have a membership, the call and the work was FREE!I would recommend Doctor-Fix-It for all your plumbing and electrical work.Really appreciate the wearing of shoe covers!

I just had to replace my furnace and AC. They gave me a good price and were very quick to get the work done. One of the outstanding things was the customer service. The techs they sent out made a stressful situation so much better. Customer service these days is in short supply but not with this company. If it is a priority to have polite and considerate people working on big projects in your home, I highly recommend this company. They also have great follow up service.

From beginning to end I was impressed with this company. The technician was very knowledgeable and explained everything clearly. I didnt feel he was preferring to sell me something new over repairing what was broken. He gave me a clear explanation of the repairs and a price. He deferred to his project manager for details about new installations. The PM was equally professional and helpful. Ryan and his partner were wonderful! We have clay pipes from when the house was built 100 years ago and use this company once a year to clear out our lines from roots. They are always great. Last year some of our tiles got scuffed from the process and a couple days later they sent someone out to buff it out. Overall a great company, very responsive and professional. We have had them do our furnace, our water heater. It’s an old house… it breaks a lot 😂

Ive only called upon Doctor Fix it twice, and both times they have had to reschedule. Today I rearranged my entire week, made a few trips to HD to get the right stuff to have for a half day job, and 10 minutes before the window of arrival started, I received another cancellation call. Because the job wont be completed today, I must rearrange my next week to accommodate the unexpected change. I dont think it is realized the orchestration it can take a homeowner, to schedule an appointment that will take several hours and hold up the function of a bathroom in the meantime. Every one is polite and kind and being a member seems like a good deal but seems they need a larger pool of technicians to pull from, an ON CALL list should a scheduled service person not be able to make it.

The young man who came to my home was courteous, friendly, and knowledgeable. He took care of our needs, answered questions. We have been with Dr. Fix-it for several years and always find their servicemen to be very professional and do an excellent job. Highly recommend!

Patrick was timely, professional, and extremely knowledgeable from the moment he stepped out of his truck. He gave an honest and thorough quote for installing a sump pump into an existing sump pit and completed the difficult installation, which included drilling into the house from the outside and maneuvering around a tight crawl space inside, without leaving a trace. He was courteous (always put booties on when entering the house), thoughtful (asked about placement of the installation when he noticed we had small children), and communicative (updated me via text on timing and showed up exactly when he said he was going to).I will absolutely use Doctor Fix It, and hopefully Patrick, again for all future house needs.

Doctor Fix it is amazing company. They are very honest and professional. We got our ducts cleaned two years ago by someone else. Past year we called Doctor Fix it. The difference is day and night. Mike came to our house from doctor fixit and said we need a 2.5 ton unit and 2 months later our house is still hot runs all day and night got a different company to come out they said it should have been a 4 ton unit. Dont go through them they are just after your money called them and nothing is being done now i have to go through better business to get the unit out of my house with a refund. They are going to under size your house the company that came out showed me the what the citys of Westminster calls for the house and it calls for a 4 ton unite doctor fixit does not know what they are talking about do not go with this company you will be sorry. It took all summer to get it to where it is now and still does not work right.

Ive got to say, Im incredibly impressed. I was worried about looking for a new provider, but had to find one after the regular heating/cooling guy that my building usually uses flaked on me. Doctor Fix It sent out a tech named Uli (super nice smart dude) the same day that I contacted them, and he was getting stuff done immediately. He clearly knew how to deal with a system that is pretty old and can be baffling to some, and was getting prices and tracking down hard to find parts the very next day. This is the first time that I have ever left a positive review before the work was done, but I am impressed enough that that is what Im doing.

Had a great tech named Adrian. He gave me great info about keeping my system clean during a remodel and also let me know what I may need to do with my furnace system in the next year. Courteous, professional and knowledgeable. I will request him for fall cleaning of furnace. I have been with this company for a number of years during a bit of a transition and now glad to see things are settling down.

I love working with Dr Fix It. All of the technicians are courteous, prompt and very knowledgeable. Shane was my most current tech and his work was impeccable. He installed a whole house humidifier and did the AC and water heater yearly maintenance in the same call. I have used this company for a great many years and plan to continue to do so.

I had a clogged kitchen drain, was searching online for prices clicked on the Dr Fix it website and a live chat box came up (at 3:30 am)I was shocked, its hard to get a live person during normal hours. He then connected me to yet another live person who set an appointment for later this morning. They called promptly, arrived on time, Jay was courtious, professional and got the drain cleared quickly for a reasonable price. I was happy with this company and will use them again.

These guys did duct cleaning after we had our A/C and furnace replaced and were great!! They even took special care to look for an earring my daughter dropped in the vent in her room but I was grasping at straws on that one. I appreciated the extra effort😀😀 I would highly recommend this company!

In the past few years we’ve had them replace our air conditioner, furnace, hot water heater and some smaller items. We’re now undergoing electrical work. Our experience is always that their technicians are knowledgeable, do their homework, and Dr Fix It provides guarantees that other companies do not. We appreciate their integrity.

My electrician was Will. He did an outstanding job. He was very professional and went out of his way to explain things, give us options and kept his work area very clean. I hired Doctor Fix It to come out for an AC Tune Up. The technician arrived and started taking apart my furnace/ac unit and immediately told me that I need to replace my entire furnace. I asked if there were any other options and he said no, it all needs to be replaced. He never even performed the service that I hired them for and still charged me and then left. He told me I would need to follow up with them to have someone come out to quote me on a new furnace.I hired a different company to come out for a second opinion. They said that my unit was a little dirty, but did not need to be replaced. They cleaned and serviced it and said everything is good to go.Beware of scammers like Doctor Fix It!

Had electrical work done to repair some outlets in the kitchen and to also upgrade the house with serge protection. The electrician noticed that I had an extension cord plugged into a camera we have on the side of the house. He mentioned that he would put in an outlet on the side of the house while he was there so I didn’t have to have the camera plugged into an extension cord anymore. Plus, down the road if we wanted to put in a AC unit we would be covered with The proper outlet. After the work was completed and he had gone I noticed that I was charged for the GCFI outlet and charged for AC and furnace work that he did not do. We added upgrades to our electrical panel. This category of the invoice was over $1600. For the last week and a half I have been trying to get someone to talk to me about the bill and I am still waiting for a call back.Updated service: Had a manager contact us and took care of the problem and updated our invoice and bill and corrected the issue. We had our homes electrical box upgraded after experiencing an electrical arc hazard which began as flickering lights in multiple rooms. It was very reassuring that Dr. Fix It bumped our repair priority based on potential fire risk. The work was started the same day and completed as quoted. Better yet, Luke and Brian handled our repair. Both are great communicators with lots of experience. They are professional and courteous. I hope to not need their help for a long time, but I wont hesitate to call on them if needed. As shocked as I am with what it cost to upgrade electrical panels, Im very satisfied with the outcome, the quality of the work and the peace of mind.

I am a first time home owner and feel that I was totally taken advantage of by this company. Called since my AC unit hasn’t been working efficiently. They charged me around $540 to clean the coils only to still not have it fix the issue. I asked why the service was so expensive and the tech said something about licensing. I asked for an itemized report which just lists furnace cleaning. I have no idea what I paid for. Called another company recommended by a friend and they verified I totally got screwed. They charge $250 max for a chemical clean of the coils.UPDATE: filed a claim with the BBB and FINALLY received a call from Dr. Fix It. Got a full refund because, “hm sometimes our technicians make mistakes.” Fast forward - called an actual family run business, guy came out and fixed the problem for $230 (I gave a tip). If I needed a new unit installed (in case there was wax build up) he quoted me 4-5k vs the 10-12k that I was quoted by Dr. Fix It. Really hope this review helps people get their money back if they were totally ripped off and stops people from going to this company in the first place.

I had them come to my home and fix a clogged drain. Two weeks later the drain was clogged again and they expected me to pay over 100.00 to have them come back and fix the issue that they should have resolved two weeks ago. I wouldnt waste your time or money on this company. I understand that sometimes you miss the problem the first time, but telling me I need to pay full price to have you try again is ridiculous.

My entire electrical stack was disconnected from my house during the heavy snow storm of spring 2021. The pole and wires were lying on top of my grape arbor, a very dangerous situation. Within three hours of the lead electrician assessing the job and giving me a (reasonable) price a crew was working until dark that night, and came back in the morning to fix the job. Professional, friendly, and experienced. Take my word for it - these are the guys to call.

The crew both williams and Ryan pretty much revamped our electrical system including replacing overhead lighting. they performed in a professional manner and provided us with a satisfactory result. We would use them again.

Ryan was great! On time, very friendly and professional. My kitchen drain was badly clogged. He tried several times to unclog it. Also, lined up a follow-up camera technician for the next day if it was necessary. But his persistence paid off. He found what clogged the drain, cleaned everything up, and was on his way. I would hire through Dr. Fix It again without hesitation!

I called them because my washer had backed up & I wanted them to use a camera to check my lines. They did not leave me any photos of what they found just quoted me a price that made my stomach drop. I was told I would need a clean out because I had some low spots or they could dig 6 ft down from backroom through my house to fix it. This was very disturbing so I got a second opinion, Thank goodness the other CO showed me everything & I didnt have to dig up my house!

We had our main drain cleared due to a clog. The plumber was here twenty minutes, when historically this job takes closer to an hour plus. Within an hour of him leaving, the main drain was backed up again, worse than ever. Instead of coming to fix their incompetent work they wanted to charge us once again for a second trip. Do the job the right first time and back-up your work. Totally unacceptable, we paid for a service which was not done properly. DO NOT use these guys, what a scam and ripoff

Doctor Fix It contacted me proactively about my annual furnace inspection. The technician showed up on time and went over everything he did as part of the inspection. He was polite and respectful.

This is absolutely the best Electrical company I have seen, They done an awesome job. AC stopped working. They came right out and resolved the issue. Tech was very professional.

Dont use this company if you need reliable service or someone to show up. My water heater went out and I needed it to be either repaired or replaced quickly, as is typical for that type of problem. I called Doctor Fix It and scheduled a same-day appointment. No one showed up during the appointment window. No one contacted me. After the appointment window ended, I called and was on hold for 10 minutes before giving up. It was at the end of the day so it was impossible to contact any other companies for help. I wasted a whole day waiting around while I could have had the problem fixed by another company that was willing to live up to their commitment.

Good value when you consider they make several trips on the service plan to check AC, Furnace and water heater. We had technician Ralph who patiently answered all my questions and was good about showing me what he was doing.

Best service experience ever! Pipe under my house failed and they came and fixed everything in a day. They are super clean, had to jackhammer the the cocrete in the basement to access the pipe. Nicolai and his xrew were awesome!

We called Doctor Fix It for a minor plumbing issue. After the service visit by Cristian we will definitely use them again and highly recommend them. He was polite, professional and courteous. He actually listened to our concerns and answered our questions about other plumbing improvements we were considering without trying to pressure us to use them unlike other companies. Probably the best thing that I can say about the visit is that all of it was positive, even the cost. Afterwards we couldnt think of anything negative about it. If you read the other reviews, it looks like this is the way all of their staff treats their customers. Kudos.

Andrei was on on time very helpful with fixing and replacing my faucet

I had clogged toilet but due to leaking cast iron drainage pipes as home 75 y/o. They diagnosed the problem quickly and came and replaced all pipes including toilet in 1 day, but I did have to wait 4 days for actual fix, they were busy. Service technicians were pleasant, professional and did a great job and cleaned up after. Since I had a low crawlspace, this was not an easy job. Price was fair, not cheap but you get what you pay for and I am very happy with the job they did. I will use them again.

Here we are at the beginning of the summer heat wave and suddenly the AC stops working. I call around and get quotes for other companies over a week or two before they could show up. End up calling Doctor Fix It and they were able to get out the same day. Since they price everything by the job, I was pretty concerned the bill for same day service would be hugely expensive but the only other option would be to sit and wait for a week and a half in the heat. Took the appointment this afternoon. My tech Joseph Romero was very friendly and upfront about the possible problem with the unit. I was very lucky that the issue was something simple to fix. The bill was shockingly low and they earned themselves a customer.

Great service. Will arrived on time, examined a damaged light fixture made appropriate recommendations then I paid a reasonable fee to get the fixture diagnosed. I have used this company for plumbing multiple times in the past. I’ll be calling Will back when I get the new fixture. 5 stars plus

Andrei came out to install a new water filter. (Andrei has been here a few weeks earlier for another issue.) In the process he pointed out some potential problems that he could help to improve. He did everything he was asked. When he was done and the new unit was plugged into an electrical outlet we discovered there was an electrical issue such that the water filter would not work. He called his office and had a plumber come out within about an hour. The plumber, Brian, arrived and put in an additional electrical outlet AT NO CHARGE! Both Andrei and Brian do excellent work. Dr. Fix It is a very good company, first rate, and so glad that I can rely on their high quality work. Thanks.

I needed my sump pump and faucet heads replaced. My appointment was scheduled and I received confirmation of my appointment almost before I hung up the phone. I received several texts confirming my appointment, the technician and the company’s current in-home non-contact policy. My tech-Eli was extremely professional and was willing to share information about the work he was doing and why. Once the work was done, he cleaned up his work area. This company and tech-Eli did everything they promised. I was very impressed and will not hesitate to use them in the future and/or refer friends.

Had two visits today from dr. Fix-it - one for an electrical inspection and the other doing AC inspection. Both of these gentleman were very polite and professional and trustworthy. I’m very impressed with this company.

We had Dr Fix It install a new furnace in our 125-year old house several years ago and have been happy with the unit, work and technician/installation ever since. A tech recently came out to replace an electronic control piece that was keeping the unit from kicking on. He came the same day we called, IDd the problem quickly and replaced the board which was under the 10-year warranty. This is a professional and courteous company and I would not hesitate to have them do more work for us if needed.

I have been a Doctor Fix It customer for a number of years. I consistently have had a good experience with this company. Today I had an issue with an in-line fan in a furnace duct. Dave C was the HVAC technician who came - he was knowledgeable about the issue, helped me to understand my options and then promptly fixed the problem. Dave C has been our technician a number of times now. He is friendly, knowledgeable and great to work with.

We used Doctor Fix-It after a friends recommendation. They installed a new water-heater, updated our copper pipes and main water valve. They did not provide a receipt after the installation and we struggled to get a break down of pricing for 2-3 weeks after six phone calls. They also struggled to provide in writing their lifetime, transferable warranty to new owners. Our new water heater did not pass inspection initially and they failed to replace our evap cooler valve. Hence, only four stars. However, after we had our electric walk-through, their service was top-notch and we have not had any problems (new electric panel). Their warranty transferrable to new owners is a great deal as well. If you have issues with them, keep on them. Of course we all have our thresholds of patience.

We used Doctor Fix-it and had a hiccup in communication (partly our own fault), but the whole situation was handled so professionally and all the crew members were very polite and professional about the (partly our) mix-up. We had a Granite sink that had cracked . Eli came and installed a new one. This guy is the most polite, professional and talented master plumber that I have ever seen. Back in March, we did quite a bit of market research with probably a dozen companies looking to fix our outdated water heater and HVAC system and found that we could get the most bang for our buck hiring Dr. Fix-it for all three.  Naturally, because we were getting top of the line everything, they threw in all the bells and whistles.  We agreed on the price on a Friday morning after the sales guy essentially begged us for our business because business is slow right now and we pay our guys salary so we just need to put them to work. We can come tomorrow and be done on Monday. Thats where they get the two stars.First, they had three guys on Saturday come in and they got everything probably 90% done. The last 10%, were putting in the bells and whistles like the UV light filter, cleaning our ducts, and finishing the nonessential tasks. Each of these amounted to its own visit, so we had to be around, on their schedule to get these done. This went on for 6 weeks. I should also note, that the company culture and policy is to leave the work area in a satisfactory cleanliness condition. Satisfactory is a great word, because as the customer, its enough to annoy you but not enough to throw a big stink about it.Now its June and COVID is over and were having people over but we just realized that the Air Conditioning unit is not producing cool air, just recirculated house air that 78° when its programmed for 62. Even at six in the morning the temperature remains at 74 when its below 60 outside.  I called to complain and have somebody come out and the soonest they can get somebody out is 48 hours and my concern should get a call back from the manager within the next 24 to 48 hours.Ill be very happy when this is over and everything works but I do have severe buyers remorse going through Dr. Fix-it. I would not recommend them to anybody, but I can say they were better than the dozen or so other contractors that we called up, from first glance.

I called the tech (named Andrei) to fix my water heater. He did it very well and was informative on what he was doing. I would absolutely call Andrei again.

Once we decided on the best solution, Andrei went to work. I am very happy with the work he did. He represented Dr. Fix it very well.

I recently bought a house built in the 50s. I knew when buying that both the water pipes and water heater would need to be replaced. Dr. Fix It was recommended and i am glad I took the advice. Both of these jobs were completed by Eli. He has been excellent through both projects. He educates me on what he he sees, explains what is covered, and has helped me plan out future projects. He has been extremely responsive and I feel like he is invested in my home. I would highly recommend using Dr. Fix It, and especially recommend Eli for your plumbing needs.

The service was great! The associates were on time and made sure to give us updates. They were well informed on what they were doing and respectful during the process. For pricing they were less then expected and they were able to fix issues that we did not know they were able to.

Just had a 24/7 service engineer by the name of Adam, here to service my AC. He was well informed and answered all of my questions. Very good service. Keep up the good work.

After the install, he covered all of the important things to know, so I felt like I was in good hands. I used doctor fixit Mike the sales man told me he didnt care about the air conditioning not working right he said that he wont fix it. The new unit runs for 12 hours straight does not turn off for one degree I would never use them and Im telling everyone not to use them they are not in it to help you they just want your money. They dont care after they install it the house still stays hot and Mike is very rude and if you call there office no one can help. They come instill take your money and leave thats there model. Do your research before using this company. My name is Jason and i spent 25,000 on this they are the worst company go through tipping hat the people there listen to your problem and would do it right thing. I wish i could turn back time. If you use doctor fixit good luck say good by to service and getting the right unit for your house horrible company. Walk away from them as fast as possible. They know how to sell you on the roungh thing injoy your hi electric bill and have a hot house. Mike is the worst sales man told me i know nothing and i was stupid but my house is still hot. If you like to be called stupid go through them.

Did a great job replacing my Water Heater and getting the tie-ins up to code. Added benefit is the extra work Doctor Fix It goes through to get the project permitted, inspected and signed-off with the Local Jurisdiction. Doctor Fix It also warranties their products.

Doctor Fix It was amazing. From the first phone call, to the communication prior to arrival, to the final job performed. I highly recommend this group of professionals!

TOTAL FRAUD, TOTALLY DISHONEST. Spoke to this company 5 times, they cancelled three appointments with different excuses each time. From the first call, they asked for every detail of our a/c, every detail of the building, etc. They were provided with every bit of information from the first call. Chose this company based on reviews....and their website. Their website is TOTALLY FALSE, blatant lies about the services they provide. The final appointment cancellation came this morning, the day of scheduled service. Today is the THIRD day I took off work, only to be told they couldnt come, different excuses each time. My advice, look elsewhere if you want any kind of decent service.

Im so grateful for the professionalism, diligence and hard work displayed by Nikolai, Christian & Ryan. This was my first experience with Doctor Fix-It. Nikolai communicated clearly issues and resolutions for the sewer issue I had, Christian & Ryan worked tirelessly to fix it and spent the time to get it done and done correctly well into the evening. Christian & Ryan executed quality work and the ability to adjust as the issue evolved. I would use them again!

Eric Nielsen was the most knowledgeable about the repair for my heating exhaust. I had 2 other companies come out to evaluate my furnace issues. He gave me the best price and the most reasonable options for fixing my furnace. He didn’t try to update me. I had several questions He was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I will recommend this company to anyone who wants a truthful and professional experience.

My water heater needed to be changed and I had used Dr Fix It before and was confident with their work, so called them. They sent out a technician (Andrei) who was considerate and spent time explaining what he was doing and why. He double checked with codes for my location to be sure I would be in compliance and explained about how water quality and water pressure can affect the life of the water heater. He cleaned up afterwards and it was left how he found it. His patience and kind nature was truly appreciated.

I am a member (monthly subscription) and it’s great. They call me once a year to schedule annual checkups in AC, furnace, electrical, and plumbing. Most tech are very friendly and seem to know what they’re doing. Most of the time they have appointments available quickly.

Roman Cordova did an excellent job. He replaced 10 circuit breakers and has agreed to come back next week and do another job for us. We could not be happier. Thank you Roman !!

I would give a three star because the first guy that came out back in November was nice, however, todays experience overshadowed that good experience. I donated $10 a month, didnt get a donation tax return which I thought one should. I scheduled service that comes with the donation and they call me an hour late (scheduled from 10-12 didnt call me until 1) to tell me they went coming after all. I stayed home to be there during this time when I couldve been at work working. Not professional to me at all.

Had dr. Fixit out to fix two 3-way switches that were improperly wired. Roman had no idea what he was doing. Never did fix it. Ultimately, he removed one switch, connected the wires, and put a plate over the switch box. He left me with one switch. Cost me $150. While he could not figure out a 3-way switch, Roman did know that I needed a new breaker box and really wanted to talk about doing that. My neighbor came over this afternoon and we got the switches working. Thanks for nothing Dr. Fixit. Will never recommend. Will never use.
