He took the time to explain every single thing he was looking for and doing, as well as giving me a lot of advice on different situations because he noticed that I was a new homeowner. I normally give 5 stars. This service checkup could not be completed as fully as previously service checkups. Due to physical limitations of the serviceman, the attic air handler was not checked. Due to the outdoor air temperature, refrigerant pressure was not checked. Also, I did not receive documentation of the results of the service checkup. The serviceman was cordial and informative.

I have relied on Dayton Heating And Air Conditioning for years and they always do a good job. Keeping my furnace and A/C tuned up and working like they should. Our system quit working at 5:00 pm yesterday and we did not realize it until 9:00 pm as the temperature in the house had reached 75 degrees. We called Dayton Heating And Air Conditioning and received a call back from the technician in less than 5 minutes. He went over a few possibilities and quickly determined the thermostat had gone bad. He arrived 20 minutes later, replaced the thermostat and programmed it and we were back in business before 8:00 pm! Really, what more could you ask for?!

I called them on Saturday morning after calling a couple of other recommended contractors that werent available to look at an outside A/C compressor fan motor that had burnt out the night before. It sounded like an answering service, but they said they could have someone out on Monday morning between 8AM-12PM. Yay! I received an e-mail confirmation shortly thereafter. Monday came, and I waited until 11AM, then decided to call, just to confirm. The lady who answered said that theyd be out before noon. Waited until 1:30PM, then called them again. They said that a commercial job was holding them up, but theyd be out shortly. Called them again at 3:30PM to see if anyone was coming. They said no, then said that theyd have to reschedule for the following Wednesday.I told them I had a planned hospital outpatient thing on Wed from 9AM-4PM, then work, so it wouldnt work. Id especially taken the entire day off on Monday just to wait for them to get my A/C working again in 95-100 degree weather. Unplanned delays happen, but they couldnt have even been bothered to call, text or e-mail me to update me once. I chose them due to their 100% 5-star ratings on Google reviews. Im re-reading the reviews now and suspect most, if not all the reviews are fakes.

Everyone at Dayton Heating And Air Conditioning was friendly and professional and never once talked down to me or tried to upsell me and I believe I got a fair price. The tech team worked quickly and cleanly, including relocating my AC unit outside. Everything looks better than when they started! Their COVID protocols were excellent, all four were masked and careful to maintain social distance and had wipes to clean up. Paperwork and payment happened online. Great experience from start to finish.

Got a service call to get AC unit diagnosed and repaired. Technician came promptly, at previously agreed upon appointment time, and was friendly, professional, knowledgeable and helpful. Discussed different options for repairwork, and was forthcoming in pros, cons and cost of each. I am totally satisfied with Dayton Heating And Air Conditioning work and the system works great. It holds temperature within a half degree and does an excellent job controlling humidity. The air handler runs at reduced speed once the temperature approaches the thermostat setting. There are no drafts and the system is silent.
