First time here and will definitely not be the last! I was taken care of by Hiy (gentleman) he’s very professional and took his time although I arrived last minute and took a couple hours after closing. He did an amazing job! Everyone was super nice and attentive. Check them out! I love my nails!!

I have been going to this nail shop for almost 5 years but during my last two visits the nail tech was very unprofessional, rude and belligerent. I was told I was being difficult because I was vocal about what I wanted and mentioned that he was rushing. I ended up with a broken nail even before he began and multiple blisters. I could have overlooked that because it happens but being told I’m difficult because I voiced my concerns and also feeling unwelcome and being discriminated against is completely unacceptable. They offer complimentary drinks and are welcoming only to certain customers. I don’t know what happened but the customer service at this place has seriously declined and I would never recommend it to anyone.

The best nail salon in Dallas. They are so professional and take there time ensuring your nails are done right and youre leaving satisfied with their work. Its also a plus that all the nail techs are good. Highly recommend if youre in Dallas you try this place first.

Went here on a friday afternoon and got in right away! The owner Mai was extremely sweet and both she and the other technician were very meticulous and did a fabulous job! My dip nails look amazing and the pedicure was fantastic. Prices were great for the dallas area too. Will be back soon! :)

The Pedicure was Great; Best I Ever Experienced. My Nail Treatment was Medicore and Disappointing. I have Two Nails that are Lifting on the Sides and One Hand my Nails are Shaped Different. I would not recommend Nail Extensions at all. Very Disappointing in my Nails.

My daughter and i had A pedicure done there . I wanted to get out as soon as i got There. I waited And other customers were attended while my feet were soaking in water for 15+ minutes. The person who did my pedicure is a bit older than everyone else and she probably shouldn’t be doing pedicures. She didn’t take any of the dirt between my nails nor cut them nor clean them properly. She “massaged” my feet for 5 minutes. Which i would have preferred those 5 minutes to be used cleaning my toes properly. My daughters toes look awful and so do mine.I tipped and payed because it’s the right thing to do. However. Won’t be going back.

The nails are okay I guess. When I sat down I said I wanted a BLACK FRENCH TIP. Then when she’s already half way to putting on the tip she said she doesn’t have black French tips 🤨 so I had to settle for pearl & the lady had literally no regard for the cut on my finger I told her about 5 times to be gentle with it and she did not. Really annoying.

I went to this location 02/26(Wednesday) today 02/27 more than 3 nails are already chipped and both designs on my nails are ruined.... worst place

I absolutely loved this salon! I went here for my wedding nails and was treated like a princess. The amount of detail and care that the staff puts into their work is incredible. I got my nails done before my wedding that took place on 8/31 and I still get compliments more than 2 weeks later! The photo that I added was taken at my honeymoon on the beach almost a week after they were first done. I highly recommend this salon to everyone. The staff is also extremely friendly and professional. Best nail experience by far!

Absolutely best nail salon! Let me start by saying I am extremely Type A, I get annoyed by any cuticle area showing after getting my nails done, and any imperfections on my nails drive me crazy. I have been to salons all over Dallas—Uptown, HP, Lakewood—and honestly I find someone good the first time and then am disappointed the next time because the quality is inconsistent.But at Romie’s, I consistently get my nails done perfectly. The salon is owned by a husband and wife (Hai and Mai) and they are the sweetest people. They are the ones that always do my nails and they are excellent. Just recently Hai convinced me to do dip for my second time (first experience somewhere else was horrible—thick, boxy, fake looking) and the results were my favorite yet! My nails looked natural and perfect! I’ve been coming here for a year and I have never had a disappointing experience. The one time I was being extra picky, I asked them to correct something and they happily fixed it. If I ever have a chip or something happen to a nail even a week later, they’ve replaced that nail without charge. Just always top notch service.I cannot say enough good things about this place! Beautiful decor, wine, etc like most places. I have brought my sisters and mom and they love this place and now today, my best friend too from McKinney! Her nails came out gorgeous!I promise if you get your nails done by them you will be so happy. I now have my forever nail home. Such a relief!

I went to get a full set ....they charge me $50 which was not the problem I’ve paid higher, twos days of having them a nail broke, they didn’t want to fix it i waiting over 20mins wasn’t no one in there getting nails done I still had to wait, it was before closing, I was professional and nice and I still receive bad customer service an not to mention one of their customers stated that they could get Covid because it was a masked black paying customers in the front .... overall is very sad and that people show favoritism still but I guess it is what it is

First time here and I enjoyed my experience. They do walk-ins. I got a pedicure and tip and powder nails done. Pedicure was phenomenal! The massage they gave me on my legs and foot was amazing!!! I have had a bad big toenail on my left foot for years and it never looked right and I finally found the gentleman here at Romies and now it looks much healthier and much better. I could not be happier that now I can wear sandals and feel good about how I look. The gentleman also told me how to take care of my big toe so that it will possibly grow back and also is healthier already. I am very grateful and will be coming back as long as I can!! They are also very accommodating and pleasant. The price is reasonable even for spending such a long time and doing such a careful job.

Not satisfied at all. This place may have good reviews but dont live up to it. Went in on Saturday not too busy. Nice atmosphere. Nails HORRIBLE!!! Came back today to give this place another opportunity to correct my nails...FAIL!!! I was rushed both times and I noticed the staff catered heavily to their white customers. So if youre not white avoid this place!!!!I never called you all racist, I said you catered to your white customers. A customer came in with an appointment and the tech the was doing my toes went to tend to her before completing my pedicure. But overall he did a very good job. The tech that did my nails rushed my nails both times, although she was a very sweet women which is why I thanked her for her efforts alone not for her work. I watched other customers come in and you all worked hard on their nails, took your time, my nails were never buffed and still have bumps and dents today. When she changed my toe nail polish it was rushed as well and was not painted as well as the first time by the original tech.And I saw the great reviews from others but my experience was different. Should have gotten a refund but I will not be coming back. But thanks for the offer.

First time here and got the Milk and Honey Pedi. It was very soothing and has everything you need in an amazing pedicure. They had a chilled glass of white wine available and my tech was detail oriented. He really took his time with every step. The paint job is fabulous, he even put an extra coat on without me asking! Their prices are extremely fair in my opinion. I will be coming back here regularly!

My French tip manicure and classic pedicure look perfect. Both procedures took 2.5 hours with extra attention to detail and two glasses of wine. I would give 6 stars if I could!

This place is amazing! First visit was around Xmas last year and that experience was great! I rarely afford such luxuries as manicures so I am just now returning. I went in last Friday and had a gel manicure($33/$10gratuity-$43 total). The young lady(should have gotten name!) did a great job and I left pleased. By Sunday however, my polish was falling off- literally coming unattached from the nail. I usually work doubles on Monday and Tuesdays but was able to come in tonight(tuesjuly32018-4:45pm) to see if something could be done to rectify the situation. Well, in less than an hour I walked out with a new polish job on all ten nails. They have stellar customer service!!! I totally understand weird things happen. Its nice for businesses to stand by their work!!! I will return(when I can afford again) & I will recommend to everyone looking for a nail salon in the area!!! THANK YOU!!! Hopefully next time I can partake of the complimentary wine!!!⭐💅⭐💅⭐💅⭐💅⭐

Great mani/pedi! Henry was very methodical and precise in everything he did from his own movement to his polishing. The gentle and predictable movements in his massage resulted in one of the most relaxing nail salon massages Ive ever had. I walked out feeling relaxed yet rejuvenated with a great pedicure and buffed natural nail manicure. Facial waxing was thorough and relatively painless. I will def be back. Thank you.

I have been going to Romies with my mom for at least 8 years. It started as a convenience when they were located across from Northpark Mall as we lived down the street in Preston Hollow, but after the landlord made them leave because he wanted to put something else in their location (right after they had renovated the salon - not cool and the spot is still empty), we decided to keep going. Now, I do not let anyone else do my nails. They are so clean and meticulous, and truly want you to be happy with your experience there. Im partial to Dan, just because I adore her, but Rose, Dad, Kevin, and others have all been nothing but wonderful as well. They are such wonderful people, and such hard workers. They deserve your business and do a phenomenal job! Plus, they offer wine during your service and give the BEST leg and arm massages. Really cannot say enough good things about them!!!

Wow this place is terrible! Just look at the pics posted and you can clearly see what a bad job they do especially with the cuticles. I doubt very seriously all the people here are even licensed. I tried to have a manicure but my nails were not soaked -no water or lotion used and no cuticle softener was used. As you can imagine this did not go well on my very dry skin and she cut me twice before I called for the manager. The manager was the owner and she said: “ oh well these things happen” and then demanded I pay full price because the manicure was already started (but not finished( what kind of owner does this. IF you care about your health and basic human decency, do not go here.

My nails are still trying to recover from the poor job that was done on my nails. They ended up brittle and very thin. The technician that did my nails rushed through the job when another customer came in. Will never come backEdit: of course they would not be able to find the record. All that matters is that my bank statement disagrees and I will not be back. Nor will I let people I care about come back. That man did a poor job with my nails and shame on you for trying to deflect.

First I would like to say wow because Ive never experienced anything like it. From the moment I walked in I felt welcomed. They offered me water it was great I told them what I wanted which was almond shaped dip nails and Hai told me how much it would be. For the set its 35 but the shape was an extra 5 dollars mind you it was my first time there I only went because it had great reviews. Hai paid so much attention to detail( took about 1 hour and a half ) my nails came out AMAZING! I wish I could put a picture!

My first time going and this will be my permanent place Ill always go to! First they are the most humble kind people. They seriously take their time on each nail. I came in as a walk in and I did have to wait for only about 10mins which did not bother me at all but they felt really bad and gave me a discount for this. This nail salon definitely went down hill over the year. I was in town and decided to stop at this one since Ive been here before and actually enjoyed it at that time. Today, not at all. I ask for a gel manicure and they try to upsell me to a dipping powder even when I say no. They last the same amount of time on my nails so why pay extra? Anyway, the lady doing my nails (no clue what her name is. Saw a box with the name Tracy written on it so that might be her) kept on filing with a rough nail file over my actual skin and not only the nail. So now over 5 fingers sting from the cuts. Whenever I would speak up about the stinging pain, the nail technician would say its because I had gel nails before and shouldve gotten dipping powder. Ever thought that its because youre filing on my skin and with a dirty nail file? They also apparently lost the nail polish bottle of the color I originally wanted. They asked me what I wanted to drink and said ok and then never brought me the drink the whole time I was there. The gel UV light thing was super dirty so I guess they were trying to hide it by asking me to change my mind. I asked the lady if they ever clean the thing and she couldnt even look me in my eyes while saying they do. There are still some particles from the UV light pretty much in my nail now and cannot be removed. I asked for an oval shape and it does not look like an oval from how pointy each nail is in the middle. Completely disappointed with the service. But now I know not to go back or refer the salon to my friends, especially after reading other reviews on here with a negative experience as well.

I came a little before closing, but was told they could do what i wanted but when they started they told me it would late to long and did something completely different than what I wanted. Not to happy they should have said from the get go that they wouldnt be able to do it.

First time in and was immediately greeted and seated. Van or Vam, sorry, did my pedicure. She was helpful and picked out an even better color than what I had initially chosen to better compliment my skin tone which shows her attention to detail. The color came absolutely amazing and my spa pedicure was soooooo refreshing and relaxing. Very nice and will be back again!

Saw the Open light on 30min after closing time (because they were still working on their last customer). Walked in and asked if they could do an old fashion mani-pedi. They were hesitant but agreed. Best experience! I was expecting a rush but they took their time. I was there until 9:20pm. They did a great job especially considering how late it was. I will definitely be back again!

Came to Romies nail boutique number of times, and had the (Owner) Hai do my nails. He does an excellent job, very patience, precise, kind, and can hold a coversation well. The place is clean and the staff are very kind and offer you complimentary drinks.

Went for a pedi which was great but when it was time for my color the lady got mad. It was too many coats and i could still see my nail thru the color. She got upset because she had to take if off and was discussing it with other employees. By then i didnt want another color or my nails done. Be careful what you say you never know who might can understand you :-)

She did a very sloppy job on my nails and also I got an infection from a cut on my thumb when she had my hands sitting in some acetone that burned more than acetone ever should. They were using nail files that had been used countless times and I hate giving bad reviews but this place needs to step it up and go by the health code regulations before they might be shut down !

I got the dip powder done and a nail broke on the third day. The $33 pedi consists of soaking your feet in hot water with no disposable liner used. I was in a rush/ crush time so it had to be done. I wouldnt use them as my regular place to go.

The tech did a stunning job on my nails. By far the best manicure I had in awhile.

Please please please if you value ur nails and other things dont go here!! Did a full set where 4 nails were crooked and she kept saying its fine just a little sided. Then I got my eyebrows waxed in what seemed to be a 2min marathon with her promising her client she will be done in 2 min. Thats when she waxed off part of my eyebrow after I specifically asked for just a cleaning. Told her and all she said was ups but its ok look good. Woman didnt even want to give me the mirrow to look at myself. Horrible not going again! And a full set nexgen only lasted me a week with their quality of work

Horrible experience. I asked for ombre nails. One hand looks like ombre, the other looks like a regular french mani. When I complained, they still charged me full price. Also, the gentleman who did my nails kept having to fix mistakes and I was there for almost 2 hours. Nails are also way too bulky. Very disappointed!

Service was horrible...I got there at 5pm and left at 8pm. This place was not even busy for me to have been their so long. They soaked my pervious nails for nearly 30mins and the girl that was doing my nails did not look like she knew what she was doing. I had to tell her over and over what to do. She did not clean up my actual nails before starting to do the new set and she did not shape the nails the way I told her too. I should have asked for her license as i did not see any licenses of certificate for anyone there. I was truly unhappy as she charged me $65 for nails that werent even done correctly. No diamonds no special designs for that cost. I WILL NEVER GO BACK NOR RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I wanted to try a different place boy was i wrong i should have just went to my usual nail salon. Pedicure was great, and the massage chairs were super fancy... But then I moved over to get my nails done... I chose the dip with a small tip.... WORST JOB EVER! (Included pic: red nails) I dont think the lady had ever been taught how to actually use the product she was working with... its like she just said screw it, Ill just do it anyway. My nails look horrific! I could have done a better job with my left hand... Day two and already peeling up around the cuticles, nails are bumpy and rigid, (no I didnt touch something) and the shape... I asked for square but its like they actually get wider at the end... And the ends arent even straight... Now I cant say the entire salon is bad, because I did like my pedi... But even as I was looking at my nails in disgust, they just said $70, and didnt even offer to ask what was wrong or if they could fix anything... I was in a hurry and had to go to work... Like most salons they had told me at the beginning that it would be 45, but then separated my mani from my pedi taking two hours, so I didnt really have time to stay and argue with them, and I was too upset to act calmly at that moment... Id go back and ask them to fix it, but dont really trust any salon that would let me walk out that way to begin with...

I was greeted and attended to fairly quickly. My techs were nice, didnt talk as much which is ok with me.The owner and one of my techs tried to up-sell me for a few mins, after saying no repeatedly they stopped. My overall experience was ok but theres room for improvement.When closing time came closer, my two techs started to rush, my tip was purely based on my services (one arm wasnt massaged, right hand -middle and pinky finger were not painted entirely, but the tech fixed the middle finger couple times --tech not entirely at fault, no i didnt ask for pinky to be fixed, it was already taking longer because of the m. finger) tech was definitely very patient and understanding.... BUT what bothered me was when it came to tipping and I heard the owner complaining (in Vietnamese) about how much tip was given, definitely unacceptable.Might try again at another time during the day vs. in the evening and see if my services are better.
