She does not have the help. Just the owner does nails. Very sloppy work now. I’ve been going there for 2 years the service and quality has tanked to horrible. She tried to do coffin nails before my vacation the shape was wrong. I had to come back to have her fix my nails. Then she messed up my French manicure. I went back she did the picture below. Terrible product and my nails chipped one day later. She continued to argue with me and involved other customers. I was mortified. I prayed not to be a static at that moment. Bad service…..

I have two different nail salons I go to, one is close to work, and this one is close to home. Color New is small, and not the fanciest salon, but theyre great. Ive been to larger salons that have fancy decor and lots of extra perks, but those dont necessarily have the best nail techs. Ive had nail techs at other salons leave my cuticle beds sore and bloody.Not at Color New... it doesnt matter who does my nails (I never make an appointment), theyre always perfect. I always get a plain manicure with clear polish, which I think is almost harder to do than gel or acrylics because you have to be super detailed in doing a perfect manicure... you cant just cover it up with gel or a fake nail. The techs at Color New get it perfect EVERY time and Im super picky about my manicure. Their deluxe pedicures are pretty perfect, too. Today when I was there, the guy next to me (also getting a mani/pedi) enjoyed it so much he fell asleep! 😆 They also do massage and facials.

I got my nails done here about a week ago while I was getting my car washed across the street... I should not have taken that gander. It took 1 hour to do this... I realize I should have chosen a better color but even the job is terrible ... I also got my toes done & they were just as bad. I asked the lady to cut them shorter but she insisted I keep them long ( I should not have trusted her) & then the “gel” polish she used stripped off the next day!!!! I am never one to give bad reviews but i hope this saves someone from wasting their time & money

I will never go again, rude, and they dont do designs and they charge for massage chair without service. $1.00 a minute. Robbery

I was looking for a new nail salon closer to me,I booked my appointment I arrived on time,I still waited around 15 minutes for someone to actually start my pedicure,my pedicure was amazing well worth the wait,however I cant say the same about my nails,I showed a photo,they werent really done like the photo,I explained that I wanted pointy stiletto nails & instead I got really short almond nails,then at the end my cuticle was cut & she put some type of powder on it which has now turned my nail a weird color around my skin,now I have to put a bandaid on the nails I just got done because even after 45 minutes its still bleeding. Ill go back just for pedicures but I wont be back to get my nails done.Update:,the manager or owner of the salon contacted me on my review & asked if I could call him,I called some woman answered the phone & I asked to speak with the manager & she caught an attitude & as I was asking when he worked again she hung up on me.

Service was ok,it does need to be a cleaner place.The arm rest was very dirty.

I was in Dallas for work. I decided last minute to come and get a manicure and a pedicure. The French was too thick for my liking however, they did a great job! I would come here again 👌🏾

Its a hole on the wall nail salon, but the service was great. There were 2 ladies there working so the service wasnt quick, but the pedicure was good. One lady doesnt speak English, so one was translating. They were very nice and offered beverages. There wasnt anything they missed as far as the pedicure goes, but dont go here expecting luxury service. I wasnt wowed, but would definitely go back to get my toes done again. They did a great job.

I asked the lady 3 times to fix my nails because they were crooked .. she didn’t fix them.. ( also she did an entire hand just awful.. they weren’t even almond shape) then charged me a crazy amount .. definitely don’t recommend. she was rushing my nails.

I want to start by saying this is my first review ever! I never take the time to review anyone good or bad, and if it’s bad I always just let it slide because I’m a very patient person. So if I’m taking the time to write this about this place, it’s pretty serious. By far the worse, THE WORSE, nail service ever. 3 hours for a pedicure and shellac manicure. The pedicure ended being ok, but my manicure!! They destroyed my nails and my fingertips! They didn’t have enough staff that did finger nails so the lady that did my pedicure “tried” to do my mine and she treated my hands so bad. She didn’t understand that I said NOT SHORT and square round. She filed all the way down until my fingertips were being filed too. They didn’t even put on the shellac right, my nails feel rough. I paid and didn’t make a scene but I felt the need to express what a terrible place this is. If you are going to charge what you do, then do a good job because I paid $35 for the worse manicure ever.

Fast friendly service!

They under staff I had to wait 15 to 20 minutes for them to finish my pedicure my towel they wrapped around my leg was cold in they was going to leave it on their to do someone else pedicure so I will not be going there again.

The male that did my nails was just plain annoying. How do you file one hand boxed shaped, then have the nerve to ask me when on my second hand if I want boxed shaped. I should have been paying attention but I was so exhausted. My nails have been filed so low, you would think I almost don’t have fingernails. I gave him a 5 dollar tip, he looked at another lady and spoke in their language as if it wasn’t enough. You did a poor job sir, I shouldn’t have tipped AT ALL! Not coming back.

Loved my experience here! Nancy and the other technicians were so friendly and paid very close attention to detail. 10/10 recommend!

The worst service i have ever had. The day I was there, one of the girls was talking on the cell phone with her husband while doing my service, they began to argue and the other girl began to yell at the husband on the phone. the atmosphere was horrible.

My friend told me this is the best nail salon in Dallas and for sure it is. I got such a wonderful time here and also my nails look gorgeous. The technicians fill perfectly and also didnt cause any pain. I hope I can come back here again.

I came here once in a while cause i live far away but i alway consider this one is the best nails place to come. Staffs in here are amazing. They work really well and always have the best manner with the customers. My nails got fixed perfectly here, cuticles and dead skin were cut well and wasnt hurt at all. Came with my sister and her kids to the 2 Chairs tattoo place. Sunday around 4pm. Decided to park on the last spot in front of the salon. Which is a very tight parking. Since I had a big vehicle I didn’t want to block no one. After we got the kids out of the vehicle and started to walk in 2 Chairs Tattoo. Male comes out of the salon ask me to move my vehicle because I was in two spots. No I wasn’t and I was in between both lines. Got into an argument with the male. Female comes out tells me the same thing. Got into an argument with her too. Anthony at 2 Chairs Tattoo said they always have issues with customers parking in front of there salon. But it’s okay for them to park in front of 2 Chairs Tattoo. When we drove up. They had an 04 could be wrong on the year, Ford Expedition Black Matte color. I don’t understand how it’s okay for them do it. Well not on my watch. The only reason why I moved. It’s because they decided to move the Expedition when Anthony mentioned it. After the female comes in 2 Chairs Tattoo saying I have to move my vehicle. I don’t like giving dings and I definitely do not like receiving them back. So as we all continued to go back to why we were there for. My sister got her piercing done. After she was all done. Cop comes in saying that I was making a disturbance. I explained to him what happened. So did my sister and so did Anthony including that it is not the first time it has happened. And I was considering on getting our nails done afterwards but because they wanted to be rude. And saw that we weren’t bringing our business to them. I’m not bringing my business to them for sure. And everyone else I don’t recommended them. Unless you want them to be rude because they want the money first. Or you can’t park there. Don’t go to this place if you don’t want to lose your fingers. You decide to save a little bit of money because their price is affordable but in the end of the day you pay what you get. Horrible job.

Customer service at it worst. Last week when it was raining so heavy and Dallas was under a flood watch warning my car stalled in the high water and I managed to pull in at the store front avoid a stalled car on Lemmon. I had someone pick me up since the car stalled. I called the nail shop as soon as they opened to ask if I could leave the car parked their till 5 pm. The employee said that she doesnt know but whenher manager comes in within 2 hours they will make a decision whether they will tow the car. I explained that in this down pour more likely business wille slow if any and if she could please allow till 5pm. Once the manager came in they said move the car within 2 hrs or it will be towed. I love the customer service and the humanity in people. What happened to being reasonable and helpful Its not like it was a saturday or sunday and your salon was packed with clients. I hope KARMA comes back to you for how inconsiderate you were. I was a really bad day for me and a little gesture on your part would have been great. What comes around goes around.

Great Salon. Visiting from Houston for the weekend. While waiting on my girlfriends I decided to get pampered. This was truly a treat. The staff very professional, very nice, and needless to say friendly. They offer ginger tea to keep me warm. I pay high dollar in Houston and never had fresh fruit and cucumber pedicure. My manicure is on point. I am speechless.

I love the organics dipping powder manicure! They took time in taking off the old gel nails I had earlier! Each nails were shaped perfectly and color looks incredible! Very affordable price as well

Don’t ever spend your money here!!! The owner has horrible customer service. I went in for a pedicure & gel manicure, the lady did a good job on my pedicure but when it came to my nails that was a different story. There was another lady that did my nails, her name was Ann the polish must have been old or running low but it was going on my nails horribly, the lady & I noticed so she began to take the nail polish off the owner then stepped over & said what’s the problem I explained the issue she then began to yell & said it was my fault the polish was messing up. I was in shook & honestly couldn’t believe I was being blamed for some nail polish not going on correctly. I will never go back there again!

Wonderful nail artists here - highly recommend! They were friendly, offered me a drink and even fed me a snack :) Reasonable prices and welcoming atmosphere.

I wish there was a way to give this business Zero stars! The nail tech who performed my pedi was horrible - cut into my skin instead of just cuticle; painted all over my nails and skin; had the skill level of an 8 year old. I asked him to redo the painting and it was just as bad the second time. Any good tech knows that you cant paint over mistakes! The owner attempted to fix the botch job and managed to only remove the excess paint from my skin. Save your money for a professional shop.

Lol they don’t care how they leave your nails they just want money. Came in for pedi/mani. The guy mean mugged me in front of my face! Left my toe nails all wrong and omg the manicure is horrible. From far away they look great but close up the lady put on the wrong size, didn’t paint the sides right, the nails are crooked. Not coming back.

Went in on 7/23. Not much of a wait.Got 2 toe polish changes (not bad), a lip wax (wax was almost hell hot), and an acrylic fill.The fill is what cut them to 2 stars.1 lady filed the previous polish off (which is fine since it was glitter which is a pain in the ass to remove with acetone). She poorly shaped them (a few few had a tilt from 1 side to the other). Then another lady came up and asked if i wanted acrylic, I said yes, she started her sales pitch for the organic powder. I told her I dont like the part of having to soak off with foil (because your skin soaks up the 15 minutes worth of removal liquid). Im in the health field so I am highly aware of the toxicity being absorbed by the skin.Anyway, she said they could file them off & that was a better alternative but i get my nails done every 2 weeks as I hate the grown out look so I am not willing to spend 100$ a month for the same overall look as basic acrylic give (and they dont have to be removed every time). So, I again said no thanks & she mumbled some stuff as she came around to start my less expensive fill.The place that did my nails previous did the overlay really thin so i asked her to do a lil bit of a thicker reinforcement from cuticle to tip. She proceeded to plop a hunchback worth on my ring finger nail. I said come on, not like that much, just a lil bit thicker not so it has a hunchback. She said, we can thin it out when we file then went right back to the barely there layer she started out with on all the rest.The shaping sucked, they didnt even file near the cuticle to avoid it looking like a lump as it grows away from the cuticle nor did they shape the sides. So, I spent 10 minutes in the bathroom with my own file, getting them as close to proper as I could.The painting went ok so, theres that.Thats my story. I will not use this place again as there are others further from me that are worth the drive.
