This was My first time going to this place. The place itself is very pretty, but they gave a very bad service. They rush both, the guy Harry who did my nails and the lady who did my pedicure and they were very careless. The pictures speak by them self. Never going back

Normally I’ll only write a good review on businesses to not be negative but on this case I can’t. With 100$ out of my pocket I received these horrible nails. Terrible shape and let me not even begin on all the acrylic on my skin. To add on nail tech cut me multiple times. When I got asked if everything was okay I was honest that the shape was way off that I requested something completely different and kept getting told it would be fixed. Guy says he can get it fixed. At this point me and my friend are starving after being there hrs. Nick then proceeded to charge saying I would only be paying half price says to come back and he’ll fix them. Then says 20% off and changes it up after having said I would only pay half. After paying he mentions how I should have said I wanted long nails even after arriving and telling him, telling the nail tech, yet he still wanted to put the fault on me. Only thing I couldn’t complain about was the color. At least the color made up for the one star.

I have been to this place on several occasions and I must say that I have always enjoyed the friendly and professional service. They offer water or wine for your enjoyment. In addition, they are hygienic when performing pedicures using not only plastic bowl liners but a new packet of pedicure tools and sterilized ones as well. Their techs very sweet, kind, and professional. I am picky about my salons, I have tried several around town, but this one is by far my most favorite.

I will never go to this nail shop again. I spent the summer going here but I’m done with their lack of professionalism. I got a full set of acrylic nails about 6 weeks ago. I went every two weeks (1 full set, 2 fill-ins after). On my last visit I brought up the issue of them charging me a fee for “shaping/filing my nails” when that should be already a part of doing a fill-in. I got a bunch of excuses for that so I chose to just stop going altogether. I went to another nail shop 2 weeks after this last visit to soak these nails off only to find that my nails were GREEN underneath from what i assume to be mold. There’s also horizontal splits in my nails from where he drilled my nails too deep at the cuticle. I went to the shop and told them and explained that each time I came in with lifted nails that should have been removed, the nail tech chose to just put more acrylic on top. This means that whatever water that got under my lifted nail was now trapped inside to form whatever this green disgusting build up is. Again I was given a bunch of excuses, deflection, gaslighting and no solutions for their lack of professionalism all summer. I will never be returning and I would not advise anyone else to go for acrylic services. They charge too much to be cutting corners and ruining my nails. Oh, and the pedicures suck. My feet are always still rough the same day once the lotion is washed off!

This was my first time here and I thought I would have been wow ! But sadly I was not. The host was nice but the guys that did my feet and my hands seemed a little stressed. I really tried being nice and asking how they were and they both were short with me. The foot massage could have been better. My dip nails not so great. The guy never asked me how to shape my nails. So he just did whatever. I normally am not one to complain but I think the guys could do better and be better in being more attentive. I would try the place again only to give the place a chance but if I am not impressed I will go back to traveling 20 min away and get better service.

Lele did a great job with my nails! She was very gentle with one of my big toes, because another nail salon incident. This was my 2nd time there and will definitely be a returning client! It was my 1st time trying a dip and love it already, I was a little nervous, but Lele insured me Ill love it! Plus theyre very professional and its clean and friendly place.Thanks again

Our first time going to this place and was very impressed and loved the outcome that Bi and Phin did. They did a great job on me and my wife. We went in for pedicures only and I like how they only asked once if we wanted manicures and when we said no they didnt make any faces or try to pressure us to get one like other places do. Very friendly atmosphere and I will definitely be going back!Sooooo, changed my rating to a 4... first time was amazing... second time I took my daughter and grandmother and it was a different experience for me. My daughters experience was great, she had Anna and she did her nails and it was great. My grandmother had her FIRST EVER pedicure and it was great until the end when the lady (Bella) left her in the chair because me and my daughter werent done with our manicures and her feet got cold and she couldnt get out of the chair because of her arm rest being in the way and she couldnt move it because she has a bad shoulder. My experience was horrible, I had Lily, and she was rude. I wanted to use regular polish and she gave me a judgey face and told me why dont you use gel, its better and last longer with an attitude. I said thats fine. Then she gave me 2 options to do my nails either coffin or almond, when I really wanted square rounded, so I felt pressured and I ended up choosing coffin.. this is one of the reasons I stopped going to the last salon because they pressured me to get things I didnt want. So I ended up paying extra for both the gel and coffin (which I of course knew would cost more when I agreed) all because she had an attitude and gave me choices instead of asking what I wanted. Then when I informed her about my grandmother several times she refused to get someone to help her up... instead she rushed on me and I ended up with a crooked nail and am off them have dimples.. I do plan on going back just not using Lily. I didnt have a chance to complain because they were closing @7 and I had to get my grandmother and take her home and tend to her and I had somewhere to be @ 8pm.Changed back to 5 stars!! They are going to fix my nails. Nick (owner) was very apologetic for my experience and wanted to correct the situation. Thats what you call customer service! If I could Id give more than 5 stars for that kind of customer service alone.

My girl does such an amazing job on my full set, her work is consistent every time. Im a regular client for full set and gel pedicure, I always leave with the most beautiful and perfect nails. All the salon girls are so nice and sweet, and the salon is beautiful. Thank you girls for always giving me the best service!

I love this place. Kim is super good on Nails. The staff is great. I been going there over a year and I have not seen any staff get disrespectful to the customers, they try their best to satisfy the customer.

We went to get a couples detox pedicure which was wonderful. Bella actually remembered us from a long time and once again she was wonderful. She makes sure the pedicure and the massage is great! We will definitely be back again soon.

This place is amazing. Johnny is so accommodating and professional. They all are super polite and friendly, the act with kindness when kindness is given. Often I have seen customers act with poor grace and Johnny and the staff still keep their composure and professionalism. Make an appointment to get five start treatment!

My wife and I love Resort Nail Spa! She thinks it’s the best pedicure in town, and I say they have the best massage chairs. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. We have been at least 5 times and it’s great every time.

I Absolutely loved my almond shape french tips. I really emphasized I wanted the tip to be as thin and fine as possible and I got just that! The whole establishment is very clean, chairs were being sanitized. I was treated very kindly throughout the whole experience. I also had a gel pedicure & wax. I believe the young man that helped me was Tyler. Definitely will be going back in the future. Highly recommend reasonably priced too!

My mother in law recently went to get a manicure and they did a horrible Job! I cant believe they would ley her walk out like that! They took advantage that she did not speak English because they did what they wanted. Save your time and money and go else because this place is not it!!

We always accompany our mother getting mani/pedi services because of the language barrier. She decided to go on her on own and have me translate via phone to them what she wanted done. It was just a gel manicure, instead they took advantage and gave her a regular polish instead and did a poorly job. But still charged her as if she got gel. TERRIBLE! Shame on you for taking advantage of my mother.

I went to have pedicure done and had red gel polish previously so the guy doing my nails used the drill to remove the old polish the only problem is he couldnt get the red color off (because it stained) he kept drilling I asked him to stop several times until finally I said hey Stop I would like to keep my toenail! He showed me where the color would not come off and suggested I not use red anymore. I told him to just paint over it. My nail was paper thin! I left and never went back!

Great value! Pedis include both hot stones and wax. The location is great because there are not many nail salons in this neighborhood. Thomas is a great nail tech!

My elderly mother had the worst experience! How would you let someone walk out with nails looking like this! RIDICULOUS! If you are not a regular they do not care about you, save y’all’s money and just go elsewhere!!!

I give this place 5 stars because I attended to promptly. The attended really took his time and was polite about caring about my to two fingers (one on each hand) that were severally injured many years back. One of them is bent and will never straighten again, and the other one has the tip cut off sideways. Both of them have fingernails, and not many people have the patience to take the time to work on them. This is the first time I have ever been here and I was more than a little nervous, but I am definitely going back.

Resort nail spa does an excellent job for me every time, is thorough and always makes sure you are happy before you leave. Nick takes care of you from the moment you walk in the door, Kay and Isis always do great work for me.

The owner is absolutely amazing and sweet! She is very time efficient which i can appreciate and is very great at paying attention to details. I recently started doing dip nails and its the best thing she could of recommended to keep my nails from breaking constantly.

So when it comes to my nails and sanitation, I am very picky of where I go. I travel for work and happen to be in Atlanta where Im originally from and found this gem of a salon in midtown! They wrap their pedicure chairs with a brand new liner for every client, use disposable pumice stones, new Nail files, and buffers for everyone! The sterile machine is placed right in the middle of the salon so you can see all the techs grabbing their equipment placed in sterile pouches right in front of you. Then when it comes to my nails, these folks really know what theyre doing! My tech kept checking in with me to see if I was happy with my shape and nails at every step, not to mention she was very personable! Will definitely be coming back when Im in the area!

I come to Resort Nail Spa at least once a month. I love love love everyone here! They are all so friendly and attentive. It’s so nice to go somewhere where they know and remember you. :) I’ll never go anywhere else in Dallas. They keep the wine flowing and they massage my calves so well. Adore this entire staff. The prices are great and they have a rewards system. 10/10 recommend.

I’ve been here more thank handful of times now, so I can be honest. Since Oak Cliff is on the come up, this nail salon fits right in and is reasonably priced. It’s large so on busy days like the weekend your wait won’t be too long. I’ve always been treated nicely and when I have questions, this service vs that etc. they are patient and answer them. If you’re in the bishop arts area and looking to just have a little spa moment Resort Nail spa fits the bill.

I had a great experience when I got my nails done, unfortunately due to the fact that one of nails started to have a mark under aryclic. I thought it could be a bruise but when I removed my nails I found that it was a fungus (a green spot on my nail.) after only 2.5weeks of having them on. That means moisture was trapped under the nail or unsanitary tools, either way its unacceptable. I hope they try to let this not be an issue with other clients because I had an overall good experience. Now I cant even go anywhere to remove the rest of my nails until I resolved the issue on my nail.

Thomas was my manicure technician and he did a great job. Everyone was friendly and the place was very nice and clean. I recommend coming here and I will come here again.

Positives: Large, glamarous looking salon. Handwashing station upon arrival. Pedicure chairs are comfy.Cons: The place is hot, sweaty hot. My feet are rougher than they were when I arrived. The tech only lightly rubbed the scrubber on my feet, which made them scaly. My toenails are facing different angles and the paint is not straight. He also cut a toe. I had to ask for a drink and wait in the chair without anyone acknowledging me for 10 minutes. You cannot just go to any salon. $28 is a really good price for a pedi, I just wish I would have added $7 to it and went elsewhere.

Services are done quickly but without sacrificing any quality. They have a large number of employees and available tables/pedicure chairs on any given day but I will say that you probably want an appointment if you need a specific time on the weekends or around a holiday because they can get quite busy. However, they always accept walk-ins and are pretty good about estimating an accurate wait time.

Kim always does the most perfect dip nails, and Mindy’s pedicure massages put me right to sleep!! I’ve been coming since day one.

I frequent this salon because it is the closest to my residence that is reasonably priced with good service. My pedicures have always been great, and most of the time my nail service is pretty good; however, there have been times where my NextGen Nail Powder manicure was not smooth or too fragile. That has only happened about 3 times in the year I have been going there. I go every 2-3 weeks for service. The staff is very professional and punctual. I do recommend this salon for those looking for affordable nail care service.

I love Resort Nail Spa! After going to another salon after 10 years, I needed a new place that was closer. After the first visit, I knew i found my new pedicure palace. I work on my feet and Im very particular when it comes to my feet. Phem takes her time and makes my feet look and feel wonderful. I also enjoy how nice the staff especially Nick at the front is so welcoming. I suggest this place hands down!

I got a mani/pedi done here on Friday 1/31 around 5:30 pm ...it has not been a full 48hrs since then. Today is Sunday. Its 3:30ish. & my color is already chipping. I paid $85 + 20%tip. This place is too expensive for my color to be coming off already. Extremely disappointing. Will not be returning. Plus the boy who was doing my pedi kept poking the the girl who was doing my nails in the butt with his finger, right in front of me, as she was working on my nails. Maybe the have that kinda playful relationship but she seemed uncomfortable to me & I found it super unprofessional either way.

Love, love, love this place. They are very clean and have covid rules in place. You are instantly greeted when walking in the door, very friendly and professional staff and establishment. They offer beverages, music and TV while being serviced. The service Ive received has been really great. My favorite is Phin, she does an amazing pedicure. Id definitely recommend this place.

Overpriced and not that great. They’ve messed up my dip nail set and basic pedicures. It’s a Clean and convenient spot that will usually take you right away, but having to come back to fix something or paying $10-20 more than another just-as-good spot is a deal breaker.

Today, I arrived with my brother to have manicure and pedicure done. The young lady refused to us from having service saying its their right to refuse to service people with injuries. I explained to her he didnt have an injured he is stroke survivor and this location has done him before. She kept insisting he had an injury. I just want to pass on the information that education is important. Know your client before you refuse service for something that is not want you are saying. I am disappointed in this business we have supported this neighborhood business since it came into our neighborhood. I am not happy with my nails, overly priced for the quality. Went back today to get them fixed and they look worse. They asked if my nails looked better and I just said yes and left. No point to even saying anything at that point if I didn’t even see a change. Don’t get me wrong every one is really nice but I am paying for nail service. I never like to write reviews but I am disappointed I paid $105 total.My pedicure was worth it! Thanks Mandy!

Sunday I was told that if I wanted my nails shaped round it would COST EXTRA. I have been going to this place since they opened and I get my nails done the same way every time and have never been told to shape my nails would be extra. I think the guy wanted extra monies, not knowing that spend around $250 each month to get my nails, toes and eyebrows done. So by being greedy Resort Nails has now lost my $250 plus my 20% tip to another nail salon. bye bye
