Very clean facility with excellent customer service and they actually stay on schedule to get their customers in and out. Will be going back as the hubby and I enjoyed our Gold Mystic manicure. Service was so good I decided to a full set as well. And let me not forget unlimited beverages including coke, margarita, white or red wine. Now that’s service for the amount of money being spent.

I typically use the same person and she is awesome. She was out of town and i came in an hour before close. The lady rushed my nails and tired to use unsanitized tools from her dirty tool box on my service until i called it out. Then she went and got fresh tools from a sanitized bag and opened it. 2nd time bad experience outside of my normal tech.

They don’t burn your cuticles, they give you drinks is so nice in there the people are nice too .It’s so calm in there please go it’s beautiful 😍 .!!!!

My fav nail bar. Jenny does my nail now for 8 yrs. The best. Elegant inside. Huge big screen TV abound. Waterfall down the wall, and free bar inside. Have many other services, i.e. waxing, massages. Try it out. I have referred several friends who now only go there.

My daughter and I came here to get manicures. The lady who did my nails was incredibly rude. She blamed me when she gave me the incorrect nail shape. When I corrected her, she said that that’s what I told her to do. I know for a fact what I said. She had a terrible attitude afterwards. Also we had to wait an hour before anyone started my daughter’s pedi. Not a good experience.

Nice salon with nice techs. Most of the time my manicures stay unchipped/unpeeled for a long time, but sometimes they do within a week. Not sure why, but still will continue to come back!

Went in for a gel manicure and asked if they could also paint my toes. They convinced me to get a whole pedicure instead. This would have been fine but then I felt rushed through the whole thing and they did my manicure on my lap. Manicure came out kinda thick looking but ok. But it started peeling and chipping within 2 days!!! 😞 Not cool considering thats the main service I went for (I had a wedding to attend.) I dont pay for gel polish often so when I do I expect it to last more than a couple days??Drinks were fun and it was a nice clean place. Would possibly go back for a pedicure but never gel manicure again. Waste of money!

I was there today. The price they put it in their sheet is not even real. So basically for $55 dollars is not fix price. When they ask you to choose your color they will charge your more $16, I mean I don’t mind paying for it, and here’s more they will charge you more shape of your nail too. So what is the $55 dollars including with? They negotiating you more, and ask more money. I was there also 3 weeks ago and I just ignore all of that. I’m not recommended this place to anyone. This place is rip off.

The place is beautiful. Very nice staff, but I asked my nail tech ahead of time to give me a good massage on my calf and she did not. I asked her again at the time for the 2nd time and she still didnt. I really needed it. A little disappointed with that. Other wise good experience..

The staff here is always so friendly and usually calls me by my name multiple times throughout the visit. They have a wide selection of nail treatment options from basic to all the bells and whistles. They thoroughly clean everything and everyone is masked up. I felt very safe during my visit. They offer adult beverages with your visit, which is a great way to relax. I feel they are a little pricey, but worth it for the service level you receive.

I go here about every 2-3 months for a pedicure and typically have a good experience. I always get a straight up pedicure and I am very satisfied. Yesterday I decided to treat myself and upgrade to a mojito pedicure. What a mistake. I’m not sure if I got someone new, but the scrubbing and massage literally lasted around 15 seconds... no joke. What a total waste. I was very unhappy with this experience and will not be returning.

Wish I could give a zero. Came here with my mom & niece and the manager was just terrible. Not helpful, not attentive and completely off putting. Decided to leave and take our money elsewhere.

The service was okay. We got one of the most expensive pedicures and it still felt really basic. The shoulder/ neck massage made it better. The alcoholic drinks are amazing drinks 🍹. I was supposed to get a facial but changed my mind after the pedicure 😩

I have given this place so many chances but I am disappointed every time. I’ve grown out my natural nails so that I can get regular manicures and today was the third time I have come in with long nails and been left with stubby nails. In fact, all my nails are different lengths and different shapes so I had them quit before getting to paint. Because of the last few times I have been in, I made sure to tell the nail tech that I didn’t want her to touch the length. I wanted her to just file them, leave the length and paint them. I booked a $35 manicure which should have been easy money for them. They seem to have a distaste for regular manicures and are purposely trying to make me stop coming in. Today I came in with uniform long nails I had filed and shaped the day before. in the picture I posted, the first two nails match the shape I had when I came in, the last two (lopsided) nails are the shape the rest of my nails are now. You can’t even really call it a shape. I had one broken nail and even told her how I wanted her to shape it, she ignored me. I am writing this review because my experience keeps getting worse with every visit. A few weeks ago my boyfriend and I came in for pedicures and I wanted a manicure at the same time. Three times during my pedicure, I asked if there was somebody coming to do my nails. No one ever came, so the kind lady who was doing my toes did a free polish change for me. The time I came in for a pedicure before that, they asked if I wanted my toe nails cut, I said no but they cut them down to the nail bed anyways. The techs seem to completely disregard whatever instructions you give them. When I used to get a dip manicure, my shape was consistently wrong. One time I asked for coffin nails and the filed the sides of my nails in so deep on the sides that I bled. On top of the many bad experiences, I kept coming back because every once in a while, they got it right. I do want to make one more comment about the salon itself, it smells strange. I haven’t been able to figure out exactly what the smell is but it doesn’t smell like chemicals or perfumes, it smells like something is burning or it smells like a bad food smell. Additionally, I never ordered alcohol here because the wine is always really cheap tasting or sour. I do hope they will read this review and try to do better but I will not be back.

Great experience this early morning with a female nail technician (I wish I had her name, Id love to have her again) amid this pandemic.I really appreciate that they require all workers and customers to wear masks, shields between manicurists and customers and are properly separated from each other.I have an embedded mani and it was made perfect. Pay close attention to details and dont get too enthusiastic about nail drill. Prices are some of the most affordable Ive seen in the area in terms of job quality.I will definitely come back and support this wonderful salon! LOVE LOVE LOVE

I came here with my coworkers to get a manicure and pedicure and I loved it! They have a large staff and since we made an appointment, they were able to get us in quickly. They have large TVs playing multiple movies/news, and good music in the background, and if you like your wine/beer, they have an option for you. The service was incredible!! Helen was my nail professional and she was phenomenal!!! She took her time, was thorough, made sure the temps were fine and that I was comfortable!!! I will be bringing my wife back her to get such an incredible treatment!!

Ive been coming here for the last few months and Ive always been satisfied with their service. The place is clean and the people working their are friendly.

I love this nail salon. All of the nail technicians do a great job, my dipping powder last over a month I am very busy and dont always have time to go in every 2 weeks. The whole staff is super nice! The only criticism I have would be a larger color selection for regular polish.

It doesn’t make sense to make a client whose nail broke as she walked out the door, wait until her nail techs next client is finished(who was already receiving a pedicure). It takes 10 minutes to fix the nail vs an hour wait for an already paid customer.That’s just poor customer service.

Awesome place and wonderful people

I usually come here to get my nails during happy hour, but today I came by after work and I am really disappointed. The lady who did my nails rush and put about 6-7 layers of powder. I told her my nails were too thick she said she would fix them. At the end my nails are not even because she rushed and I had a lot of glue left. After I wash my hand I showed her she fix it over the counter and still got charged regular price.

Jenny is the best nail technician I have experienced. She has the greatest attention to detail, is extremely thorough and always ensures that I leave happy! She makes me coffee every time I visit and she takes the best care of me. She is patient, kind and a pleasure to be around. Ive been coming to Onyx for four years and its because of people like Jenny and their new owners that I recommend Onyx over any other salon. Theyre simply wonderful.

I loved my pedicure! So relaxing! It has parking right out front so its easy to access. The place was almost empty when I went so no wait. I had a great nail tech, and was given a drink menu. Its not like nail salon nasty warm wine, it was really good cocktails, and she even gave me two when she was only supposed to give me one. Love this place, I will for sure be back!:)

First time coming here and the drink was super good! However the guy doing my nails seemed kinda rude. And he wasnt even the one to offer me the drink if it wasnt for this other lady. I like how they came out but Im not sure if Ill go back. The place is cute inside I loved how it looked. Just didnt expect my guy to be rude.

I used to love this place, and have gone there since they opened. But the last couple times I’ve gone everything is SO dirty. The floor, the chairs and the tables have so much grime and grunge on them. Really grossed me out. I think they might have changed owners?

I came in for a regular nail polish change and the lady kept trying to up sale me for other services. She then rushed for me to pay but my nails were NOT dry. She insisted they were so when I stood off to the side to get cash out of my purse and she was trying to look at what I have in my purse and then of course my nails messed up and she was trying to tell me they weren’t. 6/10 nails messed up, but of course they were dry.....I would probably go again, but not with her. I believe her name was Hana, not sure because she didn’t introduce herself, just saw it in a lamp

I planned on giving them 1 star but the level of customer service changed my mind! My daughter and I went in over the weekend and the quality of workmanship we both experienced was sub par, especially compared to what we were used to from other salons, this was our first visit. I had a simple gel mani-my cuticles still looked bad and it literally looked like I painted my own nails. My daughter gets dip, long and usually coffin shape. Her nails were not consistent; not the same length or shape, they didnt look good at all. I talked to Nick, the manager, and he was great. He said we could come back in and have them fixed. We came back the next day and he had both of our nails completely redone. They turned out beautifully, great workmanship and what I would expect from a professional nail tech. Im not sure we will return but I absolutely appreciate the excellent customer service that was provided.

This place is absolutely beautiful on the inside. They have a full bar which is such a great amenity. I always enjoy talking to my service provider, as they are always kind. The only negative I have to say, is that every time I get a shellac manicure here they dont last near as long as when I go somewhere else. They are also about seven dollars more expensive here.

First time there was today, had a 1230 appointment, was seated about 15 minutes later. About 1:05 was when someone started to do my nails. Although the hostess came and apologized for the wait, there were a few people seated after me that had their nails started before mine were. Maybe it was because it was my first time here but Im still a paying customer. Other than that small issue, the service was far better than the place I used to go.

This place has horrible customer service. I had an amazing experience at the new Onyx nail bar in Keller so when I had family visit me from San Jose California I wanted to take them to a nice nail salon and treat them. I assumed the Dallas one would be equivalent or better. (Dallas location is more convenient since I live in Victory Park) When we came here, the first thing I noticed was every service was $5 more than the Keller location. This is a franchise, you would think certain things remain the same. When I asked the front desk girl about it, she told me, this location is in Dallas so it is more expensive. Not a great reason, although I can accept that until... no one was happy with their services. It angered me to have to pay more for services that werent half as good as they were at their Keller location. The salon is dirty, their towels were green, discolored, old and dingy. The people sitting at the front desk had their feet up on the counter. They do not automatically give you the drink menu before starting your service. Yuck. Will never come back.

Every year I hold a company party over a span of two days with upwards of 80 people and the staff here are awesome! They are so accommodating and everything runs smoothly. The manicures and pedicures are great and all my clients are thrilled to come every year. Highly recommend this place!!

Okay. This place is great. The prices are on par with the rest of the luxury nail bars in Dallas and this place actually makes you feel the luxury. It is huge and can accommodate groups of friends large or small. They are also very transparent with their prices as the nail menu is alongside the complimentary cocktail menu. Ive tried many nail places in Dallas and this is definitely the place that I am going to call home. Tip: happy hour mon - wed before 3:00 pm means 20% off any service excluding massages. You wont be sorry.Just included an update with a picture of nails after 1 week of normal life including a few boxing workouts and snuggling with puppies. Not too bad except for some expected chips.

I left out almost crying how terrible my nails looked! The shape was terrible the color was blotchy it looked like I got them done by a 2 year old. Smh I told the lady I would tip the guy for his time but not pay for services. The lady insisted I pay and we got in an argument in front of other customers. If I could give a zero star rating I would. We made a reservation for 7 at 4pm, one month ago. The owner is claiming they do not take reservations and acted like we never called. Then she remembered the call and said we didnt confirm. Bold face lie!! So we will spend our money at DISH.

Onyx nails is an oasis. It is where I go when I need to release my stress from the long week and keep up my nails. They are always able to fit me in and they always get my nail shape just right. I recommend Onyx Nails to everyone I know.

Terrible!!! I would give zero stars if I could. They charged my card twice and then refused to refund one of them. I showed them my bank portal then argued with me that they only charged me once. I will NEVER go here again. Do not give this company your business. Go up the road to a different salon.

Im a regular customer & enjoy the theater seating/environment but yesterday will be my last time going to Onyx. I went in to see what they could do to my toe nail that cracked. Four of the female techs were so dramatic about it and made it clear they didnt want me as their client. One of the male techs finally came along to help but made me feel like I was the biggest pain in the butt. Good job at loosing a regular customer and one that brings in other friends all of the time.

I went on a Saturday to get a pedicure and a manicure. The lady cut my toe nails unevenly and to deep during the pedicure. She was rough even after I told her she was to rough. During the pedicure, she cut my toe and caused trauma to my toes. Then she used the same clippers for my hands. I would of stopped her, but I was focused on the blood from my toes and when I looked up, I noticed one pack (the same pack) of clippers she opened for my toes. I can not believe the quality of service this nail salon offers. I will never go back.

Management is super friendly and more innovative. I usually only go to Kathy T. But have had 2 different technicians when Kathy was off and they both did excellent which made me happy bc the technicians are consistent with their gel pedicures. :)

Onyx Nail Bar has been my go to place for years now!! Although its about a 20min drive for me I really dont mind it. Ive tried other nail salons near me but none satisfy my liking like my friends at onyx nail bar from my favorite nail tech Juju to every single smiling employee there. Not to mention their gorgeous decor that will surely relax you once you step foot in their beautiful salon.
