Moms 88 and pretty picky. Depression-era baby, so it took a little convincing to get her to go (Get my toenails done? I can do that!).Shes been 2x so far, and both were extremely positive experiences. Both ladies treated her with great respect, and Mom loved every minute. Shes gonna be a regular! Highly recommended! I may even get them to look at MY hoofs...

My 87 year old mother, who lives in San Antonio, is staying with me while the construction at her apartment complex is completed. She was due to have a pedicure two weeks ago but her appointment was unexpectedly cancelled. She badly needed her toenails trimmed so I called Nail MD Spa to schedule an appointment since she is also a diabetic. I spoke to Teresa, one of the technicians and fortunately, she had a cancellation and could work her in. I was truly impressed by Teresa’s assessment and treatment of my mother’s feet. She was attentive and made suggestions to maintain healthy foot care. I highly recommend Teresa to anyone interested in special care and attention to their feet!

The spa is very clean and Kris was amazing. She explained why I was probably getting ingrown toe nails and offered lots of advice on how to keep my feet healthy in between appointments.

I am a diabetic who is used to going to regular nail shops. The only issue with that is that you have to hover and constantly instruct the nail tech so that they dont nip something or clip the cuticals. Some of them disregard what you say and do their own thing. My biggest cringe at regular nail shops is the part where they have to remove ingrown toenails. Its dangrous for diabetics to have it done without a medical professionals attention. When I arrived at Nail MD Spa, I was greeting warmly. My tech explained everything as the process went along, we held good conversation, and the doctor even came over and introduced himself. I had Kris. She was very professional, funny, insightful, and my pedi was pain-free. Believe me when I say I will def return. Oh, and I bought a pair of comfortable slides while I was there. The leather is like BUTTER!

My experience with Teresa is always good. I feel great that I dont have to worry about fungus and that the equipment used is sterilized with medical standards.

My mom has gotten her nails done here and found out that they carry shoes too! My mom and I stopped in to do some shopping and found 3 pairs to go home with. As a young woman with wide feet its almost impossible to find cute shoes, but their line had several adorable options for me! I like trying on shoes before buying and the ladies here were so helpful in finding me the right fit. Thank you so much! Well be back!I also noticed another review on here about their hours- I asked and found that theyre open on Saturday so even those with a normal working schedule have options!

Out of the 5 reviews I saw only 1 had anything to say. Well I do . Im sure your a great place for retired diabetics to go to have their feet looked after but those of us how work 9-5 what are we to do? I thought I could get off an hour early and go in at 5pm image my surprise when I called and found out that you close at 4 instead of 6 as your web site states. Thats why Im giving you 2 stars that time has been up there for months. But people dont know until they try to book an appointment for 5:00 and are told no, we close at 4. So your going to have to go someone who doesnt understand when you tell them your a diabetic so they have to use new tools not the ones that have been soaking in the blue stuff. Or that they cant just sew on my toenails with the file they sawed on the last 50 feet. Wish me luck and update your wed site.
