On Saturday, the woman doing my dip powder drilled on 2 of my cuticles. I told the manager and all she did was put some medicine on it. Since Saturday it has gotten worse and is very sore and sensitive. I’m very disappointed as I’ve been regularly going here for over a year and have always enjoyed my services. I just think this could have been handled better.

The salon is clean,spacious and the staff was welcoming. They offer you a beverage when you arrive and they give you a menu of their services. Its an upscale experience.

I love this shop, but they are VERY pricey. Jessica did a great job on my nails. Someone mentioned rewards program in these reviews so I will DEFINITELY be looking into that. the set pictured cost me almost $100.

Literally the only place I’ll go to get my nails done and my eyebrows waxed. Jessica and Mimi are my girls!! They do an amazing job, always make me feel welcome and at home, it’s more than a nail appointment. Come here and book with them for sure!! They exceed my expectations every time. Also if you come, make sure you tip, like I said, they go above and beyond.

Ever since I moved my nail tech is not as close to me so when I need somewhere close I went to Grand Nail Spa and I am glad I did! They have great deals if you sign up for their rewards program. And everyone is super friendly.

This place is horrible if a client show you a picture and you can not do it or do what you want to do why do you want to charge them...just say you cant do it....Do not, I will say do not hold there...just give your money to a homeless person.....wow can somebody tell me what the NAIL going on

The lady cut my nails extremely short and they were filed all the way down to the base. She cut my pinky near the cuticle and the marbling on the nail ended up looking like tiger stripes and it looks messy and terrible.I know not all techs are like this but I’m most upset about how the manager handled it. He blamed me for not asking for extensions and said if I didn’t like the design I shouldn’t have gotten it.Instead of offering a discount for the future or even removing the $20 design fee he just removed the tip from his tech’s pay, which I didn’t want to do. Manager’s sense of customer service is terrible. Don’t be stingy and selfish, accept that you messed up and refund the styling fee or try to welcome me back. Left a really bitter taste in my mouth.

First time ever doing a mani/pedi, no color. Was looking forward to a relaxing experience. Wrong! After the cuticle cleaning/cutting, multiple fingers and toes were left bleeding. When it was time to leave I reached for my shoes to find that they had ANTS crawling around and in them. Next time I’ll be clipping and buffing my own nails without the pain and insects.

Patrick and his team are the most courteous, friendly staff in my opinion. We live in Southlake and drive 30 minutes to have their Services. My wife rants and raves about how long the gel on her hands last among other competitors in the area.

Very helpful staff from the door. The nail salon is very big, spacious, and spa like in decor. I picked my nail color, then I was seated on a massage chair. The staff are very friendly, and courteous. My nails turned out great! Ill definitely be going back.

A really nice location and very spacious on the inside. The ambiance is professional and peaceful. Plus, Grand nail spa have reasonable prices for the type of service that you requested. Overall, I enjoy service that I received and I love my manicure and pedicure. As for parking, there is ample enough parking space, but on the flip side their parking lot is shared with another restaurant and other stores...Overall, they have my business!

One of the worst places that you can go, very unprofessional, too slow, it took almost 3 hrs to do my nails, I asked for chrome, they even didn’t know how to do it but they had it on the list, after 3 hrs I had the ugliest nails I ever had so I asked to remove all of them. My daughter nails was really bad too. So if you want to waist your money and time go to this place.

The first time I went there, I got holographic nails. The polish started coming off the next day. I gave them another try and my nails were ok. I introduced this place to my mom. I paid almost $150 for her nails and toes. Do you know the polish came off after 2 days? How does gel polish come off like that? They must be using cheap polish for us both to have this experience. I will not be going back there again. They know all of the good techniques, but they need to perfect their craft before they start using them. I’d rather get regular gel polish and nothing fancy for $150 over polish and fancy designs that come off in 2 days. I would definitely like my money back.

I normally come here to get pedicures and nail sets, either acrylic or dip. However the last time we they did my acrylic nails on 12/20 wasn’t the best job. I got an acrylic set done. My first nail popped off in 3 days the second popped off in 6 days. And today 12/31 they were so brittle they just came off. I am usually happy and content with the work. The only reason I have them a 3 star.

First timer here and I think they did a very good job! Was seated and taken care of immediately. Some confusion about what I wanted in the beginning, but it turned out amazing! It does say they offer student discount and I don’t believe they applied it to my bill, but it was $45. Priced competitively and great job

One of my favorite places. They are so nice, do a great job, and are accommodating. Great quality and they have a ton of OPI colors. I got the lavender foot pedicure and it was bomb. Sign up at the front desk for them to text you some deals for some $$ off! It was a great way to spend my birthday.

I just moved into the area two months ago and decided to try a nail spa in a shopping mall I frequent in, the nail spa being Grand Nail Spa. Upon entering I was greeted abruptly and stopped in my tracks asking “what do I need?” I greeted the guy hello and told him I would like to get an organic manicure/pedicure. He told me me he doesn’t think I have an appointment? As if he’s telling me but asking me. I asked him I needEd to schedule an appointment, I would the lady I walked in with me were seated immediately and serviced without an appointment, my coworker) he informed me that appointments aren’t usually needed but best and due to limited staff they would not be able to accommodate me for the day and thanked me for coming. Those were his exact words! I’m literally mind blown by what I’ve just witnessed, it is utterly obvious that I did not fit what they want their business to represent and were treated poorly, I can’t believe a this person, a business manager would turn his nose up to a hardworking respectable person due to the way they look or the color of their skin. Hey, I’m just a respiratory therapist fresh off of essentially working who wanted to be pampered and treated nice but I clearly received the opposite. I am so discussed and disappointed that people could attempt to treat others human beings so low. Wow!

I’ve had nothing but great experiences here even though I haven’t visited since COVID started. It makes me sad how people can be so petty to leave negative reviews. I’ve been a customer here and staff is always so friendly. To the people being ugly, you should be thankful businesses are starting to open up again. Like people are dying, or were dying and you’re worried about your nails?! People are being literally crazy, these people are just looking out for their health. I’m sure they must be busy and will assist you when they are not slammed busy. Give them a break, and stop being so negative!

Whoever does not give this place 5 stars smoking. It’s the best, the cleanest and most customer service oriented nail salon in Dallas (and I’ve tried MANY, searching for my permanent nail salon). So happy I found it!! Based on the reviews I requested Iris to do my dip and she did not disappoint! My nails turned out looking amazing and so natural. She did exactly what I wanted! So many salons make your nails look thick and way too long, but Iris was able to give the exactly what I asked for. I was offered a beverage immediately and everyone there is super attentive. My pedicure was great too. They have all the dip/gel colors organized in the book and it’s the neatest thing I’ve ever seen. I loved my experience there and they earned a loyal customer in me. I highly recommend this salon if you’re looking for a great place to call home for your nail needs!

Ive gone to this location for almost 2 years and would have given it 4/5 stars until today. Today the deserve 0 stars. Most of the people I have had do my nails have been great and my nails have lasted 2-3 weeks, but there have been several instances where someone lazy and in a rush has done my nails and they have chipped or messed up the very next day. I shouldnt make a nail appointment and spend money on nails that will chip the next day. I have had almost every single person there do my nails and only about 5 people actually know what they are doing and will do your nails the right way. Ive tried Gel and the Dip, both have been disappointments several times by several different people. I got my nails done Friday 11/1 and had to go back today to get them fixed because the gel polish was already starting to peal off. The main woman (possibly the manager) had the audacity to tell me that they wont do my nails anymore because clearly im not happy. HOW FUNNY considering its YOUR JOB to do my nails and to do them right THE FIRST time. I would not recommend this place to anyone. All the business I have brought your way is gone. DO NOT GO HERE. I would rather spend double somewhere else then go to this place.

Great experience today with my husband in this beautiful LARGE nail salon. We were immediately seated and service was excellent. We got milk and honey and the deluxe pedicures and classic manicures and our bill was only $72 with the grand opening discount! I literally was expecting $120 or more... I was like are you sure this is right? Our people were so great. :)Downside is that the parking lot is terrible with tiny spaces but if you get a spot this will be your new favorite nail spot. At least you can walk next door to get cheesecake. I’ll drive farther to go back. :)

I went for a lip wax and the burned my entire upper lip. Before that I went for a simple pedicure and the lady infected my big toe. Do not go there you’ll regret it like I did.

FINALLY! A great nail spot! I am pretty particular about the cleanliness of my nail salons and the equipment and this one meets all of my standards. The staff immediately greeted me when I walked in, and I am extremely pleased with my gel acrylic manicure. The menu is organized and the pricing is clear. Plus they have a soda fountain and a slushy machine for refreshments!

A nice new spot. The salon and tools were very clean. They offer a range of different pedicures and have tons of colors. I got a dip manicure for the first time and it turned out beautifully. There was only about a 10 minute wait and the staff were all really nice. Id definitely recommend!

This place is honestly really poor service for people of color. I went in the first day they were open during the covid pandemic. I tried calling but was unable to book. When I went in early might I add, I was refused service. I informed them I called to book and they said they were not taking any booking over the phone. Then I asked well how did these people currently receiving services book he then said they booked via text and I asked how so I know in the future I can book in advance he refused to give me a straight answer, did not provide a number and then took a different customer who came AFTER me. If you’re of color don’t bother here.

Jason does the best nails and is the best conversationalist! 4/5 stars for the rest of the staff and for the wait time during the weekends. The weekdays are the best time to go.

Today was my third time going to Grand Nail Spa. The first time was good and the second was average. Third was awful. Unfortunately I received the worst manicure/pedicure Ive ever experienced today at Grand Nail Spa. The individual who did my manicure kept giving me small, almost paper cuts around my cuticles from pressing too hard and too close with the file and buffer. Around 6 of my 10 fingernails are actually sore. My gel also had to be redone because it was bubbling. To top it off, the manicurist only massaged one hand and got up and left. The girl who did the pedicure was better, but definitely not great. Cost almost $100 and Ive received much better service at about half the price. I wont be returning.

Loved the atmosphere and salon it’s self it’s super pretty, front desk employees are amazing but I hated my dip nails, they are lumpy, slanted, and the color of the dip itself is not consistent through out the nail. This was my first time trying the place out, I will not be back sadly. The nail tech basically rushed to get me out of there.

I would suggest going anywhere else besides this place. They rush to do your nails which end up usually being sloppy. I came here at 5:16 and was told to come back after 7. They close at 7:30. This place was great when Ben worked here. Find a new shop

I have patroned this location since its inception and have never had a problem...until today...wanted a French ombre dip but my pink isnt showing at all..😩😩.with that being said, my nail tech did everything he possibly could to correct this mistake and when he couldnt, he discounted my total an hour later after his efforts...still no french ombre. But beautiful set regardless. He was a very good tech...I just think they didnt have a pink dip powder for what I wanted. Will I continue to use this nail spa?? Absolutely. Duh. Best in dfw.

My nails turned out great the staff was great and super helpful!They have complimentary drinksThey also help you match your nexgen nail color to your toes with regular nail polish.I guess the only down side was that they didn’t want to do regular acrylics because apparently they didn’t have a nail tech that did that, to me it wasn’t a problem but that’s a dumb excuse if they’re trying to up-sale Nexgen to people. Just a heads up.Other than that the place is nice and elegant!

We recently visited this location for services for a wedding we have coming up soon. The whole experience was terrible, everything felt rushed. The technicians were rude, they would mumble things to each other and then look at us and laugh which was unprofessional. To top it off we were charged extra for things that were not done to us due to them not listening to what we asked for. The shape of my nail was done all wrong and I didn’t even get to express how I felt about it when she was already packing her things up. Definitely not worth the $34. I really wish they would offer more with that manicure if it’s going to be that pricey. I don’t recommend this location at all. Personally I will stick to the one on Rowlett.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE by KENNY THE MANAGERI have been a regular customer at Grand Nail Spa (Northwest Hwy location) for one year this August. I have not always been pleased with my nails but once management was informed they resolved the issues without a problem.However, for the last several visits I have had very poor experiences when the ‘manager’ Kenny is on duty. When Kenny is the MOD my visits are always unpleasant. He is a very unpleasant person to interact with on the most basic level. He does not possess the essential characteristics for a customer service manager. He lacks all interpersonal skills, attentiveness, he’s disengaged, uninterested in the customer experience and his disposition is petulant and condescending.Saturday’s visit: Arrived at my appointment time, was seated, Kenny offered the customary beverages, I told him what I would like. After both nail and pedicure techs started on me, about 20 mins later Kenny walked past me, I got his attention and asked if he’d forgotten that he offered me something to drink. At this he had passed by me many times but never brought the wine and water. When I brought to attention he’d forgot about the drinks he said “No, I didn’t.”I suppose that was a joke. I responded with “No, I’m sure you did.” He became defensive, and to my dismay sarcastic with me before he turned his back and walked away. He returned with my beverages, but as he placed them on the arm rest he used a mocking and condescending tone. I must say, I was shocked by the degree of unprofessionalism at that moment.Another incident — I asked Kenny a direct question (looking him in the eyes) he looked at me as if he were processing my question, then turned his back and walked off without saying a single word. I made an attempt to get his attention but to no avail. The nail techs witnessed this of course, and they always try to make excuses for his absent-minded unprofessionalism. Those are just two examples, I could go on with other examples of interactions illustrating his snide, child-like disposition but I believe I’ve made my point.In summation, it is Kenny and Kenny alone that has made my visits unpleasant often enough that I’m going to begin searching for a nail spa with a qualified, professional management staff that welcomes, respects and appreciates their customer’s business and makes it their mission to make each customer on every single visit a pleasant and relaxing spa experience.I assume that Patrick the owner of Grand Nail Spa (Northwest & Lemmon) once had a similar mission prior to putting an unqualified manager in charge of the salon who has now marked the salon as just another mediocre salon with staff : management having poor customer service, bad attitudes and the end product result being somewhat satisfactory.A pity really, because overall I’ve not been displeased with the final product (nail dipping powdered and pedicures) but I will absolutely not be treated and spoken to as he has on several occasions.Undeniably, Kenny is under qualified and not the caliber of manager that should be running Grand Nail Spa which has held a relatively good reputation (until now.)Side Note: The salon wasn’t busy this Saturday afternoon.So that excuse can’t be used in defense of Kenny’s lack of attentiveness, aloof and rude behavior. There were about 7 clients in the salon at this time and I took photos of the relatively empty salon to prove it. However, there is no excuse to be made for being rude and condescending to a customer’s face. NEVER![I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention that I’m a black woman. It may not be a factor at all but still worth noting.]It’s my recommendation that you find a salon elsewhere that not only does a decent job on your nails and pedi but lifts your spirit, leaves you feeling pampered and most importantly — a valued satisfied customer.I’ll miss Julie, Cindy, Emily and Nam. It was always a delight to have them service me, especially Julie and Cindy.

It is the most luxurious nail salon you have ever seen! All of their equipment is new, with wonderful massage chairs. The nail polish color selection is limitless. The technicians are very meticulous and accommodating. The front desk is always extremely professional. Its great they offer 15% off M-W and complimentary refreshments. Ive been going to the Northwest Hwy (by NorthPark) location for about a year. Only once did I have a wait, and it was only for about 15 minutes. I absolutely love not having to make an appointment, but can just stop by on a whim or when I can fit it into my schedule. I always get the basic mani and pedi service, so I cannot speak to other services. Because I live more of a holistic lifestyle, I prefer the basic manicure that includes a nice buff and shine vs nail polish and chemicals. However, because I predominately wear sandals during the Spring and Summer months, I will maintain a classic french manicure during those seasons. Ive always been pleased with the quality of their services, professionalism and promptness. Example: Today, on Sunday Oct 14th, (knowing they closed at 6pm) I called at 5:05 and asked what time were they taking their last customer. The lady told me 5:30. I told her I could be there by 5:35pm, she said that would be fine and got my name. I arrived at 5:37pm. By 6pm, the two wonderful ladies, Anne (manicure) and Tammy (pedicure) were finished. Services performed were a basic manicure with buff and shine, pedicure - french nail polish removal, buff and shine (both of which required a lot of cuticle removing). They were highly efficient and did not skimp on the quality of service, even though I had arrived near closing time. I have always had a great customer experience every time I have came to the Grand Nail Spa - North West Pkwy (by NorthPark Mall), Dallas, TX and I highly recommend their services.

I scheduled an appointment for 9 am and was running late. I called to see if it would be ok to come in at 9:15. When they finally answered the phone at 9:04 I told Peter I would be there in 10 min to confirm. He said ok and he would see me in 10 min. When I arrived I was told I would have to wait 30 min because I missed my appointment even after I called and confirmed. I was very disappointed as I usually go to this nail shop. I wish he would of told me that on the phone.
