Very good and at a low cost. Please tip well, the weather is so terrible here and they do this all day. Vacuum it yourself after or have them do the full service while you wait in the shade.

Carmel Car Wash is my go to car wash in Dallas. The location is very convenient and they provide excellent service. I usually select the Works package, and it always makes my car feel like a million bucks. Fast, efficient, great value.

They did a great job. Coffee and donuts while you wait, and they offer free waters. The waiting area has plenty of shade and is very comfy. Paid 50 plus tip for basic interior wipe down plus outer cleaning

Giovanni is awesome!!! Great worker was very nice asked about everything. He even got paint scratches off of my front bumper. It looks amazing also gave me a deal on the wash.

Brand New King Ranch 2020 F150 - scratched to hell by the machines. For the last 6 years Ive used Carmel but I am done. I addressed the issue with the manager Pedro at their Mockingbird location immediately after the incident but they maintained their position that their machines did not cause the damage. Ill just leave my pictures for the customers to decide.

I paid for a full detailed and even ask the cashier to make sure they clean it right because it hasn’t been the first time that they tell me it’s ready and I see and is only half way vacuum they don’t move the mats to get it vacuum or dust correctly. When I let them know they still get mad and starts complaining

I was disappointed with my experience. The front and back of car were still dirty despite being hand scrubbed prior to entrance into the tunnel. The side windows were also dirty. I ordered the wash and polish ($12) and do not recommend anything below this as the car does not come out clean. The packages above have attendants that do extra work.

This is right after we drove out of the wash. The guy said they werent responsible for antennas and didnt even want to go look for ours! Use Express Wash! Its better and friendlier!

Randomly saw this car wash while driving and thought I’d run through for a exterior wash only. Paid nearly $20 and still have bird poop and dirt on my back and front windshields. Looked like quality place while driving by but wish I had read the reviews first.

I can say this place definitely can use some improvement, it’s not an easy car wash to get to. If it’s your first time just go where the vacuums are in the back. Yes, they are free. Just park and use and when your done just drive up to the people by the stands. Just get the cheapest one because anything more just looks the same as the cheapest one.If your looking for a quick vacuum and car wash for a good price this is it. Don’t expect tho that your car is going to look brand new when using it.The improvements they could do are upgrading the vacuums. They seem outdated and don’t have good suction. They could remove the things blocking you from moving forward where you park when vacuuming because reversing in a busy place like that is dangerous. If they are going to offer you to get the more expensive ones they should be at least friendly. One guy tried to get me a special of getting my car wash free if I got the $40 gift card and I said no but he was persistent on me to buy it. I said no still and he seemed he got angry and was not friendly at all. They could really work on customers service and to at least smile.

I have been here several times and about 2 weeks ago I had a minor incident where my vehicle was damaged (nothing major)by the powerful car wash system. I immediately contacted the manager Rick and he was very professional and immediately apologized and went out of his way to resolve the situation. My car is an older Ford 2004 model and it has been known that the manufacture made faulty hatches on Ford Explorers therefore Rick still went out of his way to fix the problem at hand. The whole situation was handled very professionally and effectively. I was able to get my truck fixed in a week. Thank you Carmel Car wash. I will still continue to use your services and refer your business. Rick is definitely exceeding the expectations of a great Manger.

They are so incredibly thorough. For $30 car wash - it feels like a $200 detail. I used to love vintage car wash on Preston but after using Carmel - they don’t even come close in value. Everyone at Carmel works really hard and pays attention to the details! And I have a white dog that sheds like crazy! Not a hair to be seen every time I leave Carmel. They’re awesome!

I am here now at 640 PM and lady told me they no longer have the basic, they are only offering the $12 and up washes. They also do not do the rain check thing.Pulled up to the vacuums and there are no hoses on either side, also no other spots opened to vacuum, so I will not be able to vacuum my car. Have these been pulled out already due to closing? They do not close till 7:30 per Google.The only reason I give a 3 star is because workers are friendly.

Great carwash and detailing on Lemmon. You can get a discount through the Toll-tag store, $99 complete cleaning for $49, really good deal. Staff is friendly and hardworking.

I got the $15 works wash. It was OK. There’s still bird poop on my car and some water spots/streaks. They cleaned my rims and put a tire shine on my wheels. But my rims still have dirt/brake dust on them. On the bright side, It was really quick and their free vacuums worked better than most car washes that I have been to.

Car wash is a bit hard to get into. When prompted by the nice lady, I asked for a wash and polish ($12) and upon returning home I noticed that both my front bumbers were STILL dirty. I didnt even hear/feel the guy at the front scrub either places, though he did for the car in front of me. Would at least like a decent job for paying that much.

Great car wash and customer service for many years!

Usually, Carmel does a decent job, but this time I brought my truck in with some mud on my chrome running boards, and even though he worked hard to clean them (and I tipped him) unbeknownst to, the mop like brush he was using was putting deep scratches in my chrome. They cant be buffedout, bringing the resale value of my truck down. Extremely disappointed!

I don’t recommend this car wash. Very small space, waiting area in the bushes in the middle of car wash. Also service is very slow, waited about 30 min for them to vacuum the car. It’s better to do it my self. To exit vacuum area I need to drive in opposite direction

1st time going because I didnt want to wash it myself, I leave too many streaks on windows, I shouldve just did it myself. Basically I paid $25.00 to leave the streaks. Also mats and carpet around the mats was vacuumed really good im thinking vacuuming under the rugs is not part of vacuuming though.... waste of time and money

Absolutely the WORST car wash in Uptown. After being upsold for ten minutes, I got the basic car wash. The car is completely soaked as you exit the car wash. There is no dryer inside. So you need to understand that even though you are paying for a car wash where presumably there is some sort of a dryer inside you are paying just to wet the car down. I asked if the dryer was operational and the manager said there is a blower inside. It is NOT that the car was not completely dry at the exit. It had not been even perfunctorily dried. And the customer service? Non existent. The manager said if you get the basic wash you cant expect the car to be dry. All they want is to stick you with a 50.00 detail by making the lesser washes so unacceptable that your car looked better before you got there. The manager blamed me for not getting the full detail and is extremely rude. Also you have to pay to vacuum the interior. I left and washed the car down the street. The car is almost completely dry when you exit the wash AND they give you a few little towels to dry it completely....AND they have 25 free vacuum stations.

Went to get my vehicle washed. At first I was going to get the 25$ wash that includes the inside but ended up only getting the 18$ wash since I didn’t have enough time on my lunch break.Went through the car wash, than through the hand drying process . I get to work and dirt spots still on vehicle, On wheels and no tire shine!!!! How!? From what I saw there were at least 4 people drying and working on the vehicle. I would understand if I came in with an extremely dirty vehicle but I guess they didn’t like me not tipping them. After seeing the results I’m glad I didn’t have any cash to tip.NEVER AGAIN!!I’ll stick to the K-town Hand car wash on hampton rd and pay 25$ For outside and inside, and also have a piece of mind they actually do a good job.

I paid for the $12 wash and half my vehicle was still dirty afterwards with dirt on the back window and almost the entire back hatch of a vehicle there were still visible dirt on my headlights and almost every corner and crevice of the deal I will never ever ever again waste my money at this car wash wasnt even worth the free vacuums

The wash was good but not heavy duty. Missed a lot of spot especially the back. Probably better if I washed the car myself and put some elbo grease.

I wish their self service slot had their own vacuums. In one row theirs 4 space with 2 vacuums to share. I noticed when got home my car was still dirty. It was a waste of money. I just moved to the area and Im super close to this one. Might have to drive to the car wash I used to go to. It also scratched my hood of my car..Crazy someone else experience the same thing.

Good value for the price. I purchase the Works Plus which includes towel dry as well as tires. I am normally in and out in 10 minutes or less.

First time to try this car wash. I got the $18, it included a full hand dry. They even scrubbed and got what did not come off in the wash. I give it 7 out of 10. Cause it cost extra for you to vacuum your own car.

GOOD NEWSI got a card for this service the first year they started with the card membership. Had the same card entire time.I usually have my car fully detailed once or twice a year enjoying the quick and easy service. Never once have they ever scratched my car.BAD NEWSBut apparently their customer service does have 1 hole in it. With some 25 employees active, the manager is too busy to go into the office, look up your account and print you out another card when you have lost it. Ive always been a little uncomfortable with no name/ car info being on the car. Now Im so glad I didnt throw away the receipt from yesterdays washing to link account.I wonder what would happen if I didnt have the RECEIPT. DONT EVER LOSE THAT MEMBERSHIP CARD!

I took my car through the Tunnel and paid for the $16 wash. I liked it they also hand dried my vehicle and cleaned my tires. Make sure you fold in your mirrors !! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because the vacuums were not the best. The power was very weak and it hardly cleaned in the mats. Other than that it was pretty good.

Wheels and tires by hand was a joke, Im about to go back right now... smh..... when I took my car back they wouldnt refund the 50 dollar card I bought. And they still didnt clean my wheels. In fact, the lady took a file to three of my wheels and SCRAPED OFF SOME OF THE FINISH. OBVIOUSLY ON PURPOSE. Dont be their patron. Shoddy work, bad attitude for workers. I understand the job isnt glorious. But for an 18 dollar service through a 3 minute machine and horrible wheel cleaning just do it yourself.

When I get there the cashier is not friendly but trying to sale me something extra and I asked what is the difference and it was like he was done talking to me. After come out of the tunnel,one of the dryers or cleaner just was watching me look for a slot to pull into and never assisted another guy vame over and assisted so that I know which way you wanted me to go. And I asked her could she clean the trunk area while I have the trunk open and she rolled her eyes, very rudely. Yet and still I have a gift card and I am thinking it gets better👎and they didnt remove the stickers that were on the wheels after my 3rd time coming here and the spray had drizzled down the interior and they didnt wipe it down, I went and picked one of the rags and did it my self

My truck is still dirty after paying for the premium service. I showed the manager and he handed me the towel and cleaner and told me to see if I can do a better job... Which I did. How embarrassing that your customer paid to do the job himself. Go ANYWHERE else in town and get better service.

Very good overall except I spoke with a manger to have the plastic on my truck Armoralled and he acted appalled that I would ask such a thing and then proceeded to argue with me that they’ve never done that when 3 weeks ago I paid to have it done and was told by the lady taking the orders that that was apart of the premium $26 wash. That’s a service that should be standard at a high end car wash.

There are not enough vacuums for all the spaces they have which is weird and there is only one so it’s hard to do both sides of the car. The vacuums also do not suck well at all, barely gets any dirt. 0/10 recommend, go to Tommy’s terrific car wash instead

Will go again - Ive been to a number of car wash spots around DFW: Tommys Terrific, Plaza, Metro, etc.I still have yet to find a good all hands car wash but for the closest to it, Carmel is the best Ive been to so far. Most of the machine washing leaves marks on the car but Carmel leaves the least.Part of the reason is that they take their time for the hand towel drying service. Many of the other car washes quickly performed their service, even with buying the higher end services. Carmel takes their time and properly hand towel dries and cleans the wheels.

Solid price and lines move fast for an automated wash with hand dry; BEWARE if you have black vehicles. The tunnel machine will leave swirls all over (has done it to two of our brand new cars). Hand wash option is $75 — exterior only, not even a wax —and that’s far too pricey for this type of place, so if you have a black vehicle find a hand wash.

I’ve given this place enough chances. Just take the extra time to find a wash/ detailing service to avoid this one. Their staff is incompetent and unprofessional. ALWAYS a vexing experience.

Poor execution especially by management Rick M. After raising his voice at me multiple times I had to calm him down. He should not be in a position of power with the way he was speaking to customers.

After washing my car, I had to exit the carwash completely entering onto the main road because there is very little room to make a right turn into the self service vacuum area. When you finally do get to the vacuum area, the vacuums are broken and I was blocked in by the line of customers getting their tires shined. This was very inconvenient as I had to sit there useless because things were broken and the disorganization of the entire personnel and the horrible logistics of the car wash. They also do not have an tire shine add on option, so youre forced to buy $17 car wash. I will never return

They have very good deals. I always go with detailing services. I wouldn’t say.. it’s the best. But ok for what we pay.

The car wash in itself was good but their vaccuum was ridiculous. It just didnt pick up anything. We moved to a other one and it too didnt work that great.

Basic $7 wash is pretty good, but you have to pay $12 for a drying wipe down and more soap apparently. Free vacuums in a shaded area, which was appreciated on this sunny, hot afternoon. Nice employees. Better than other drive thru car washes Ive been to in Dallas. Just remember, the process -- JAST LIKE ANY DRIVE THRU WASH -- is to wash the layer of dirt/ junk off your car, not leave it spotlessly clean. You should expect to pay significantly more or break a sweat if thats what youre after.

Best stand alone car wash in Dallas. I would give the Plaza just down the street better marks because they have oil change, inspections, and give you a free car wash with oil change. The Plaza is slower. If you want a wash fast this is better than the Plaza.

Always love coming here because I know this place will do a great job!! They take the time to ensure your car looks amazing. They also provide a nice seating area with water, coffee, and sometimes donuts! This place sets the bar high!

Major scratches on the passenger side of my car from this place. I will never go again. It was very busy and I’ve had minor scratches before, but these are closer to gouges, clearly they have smallRicks and grime in their system. Not sure how to post the pictures.

For a $20 car wash, I was expecting much, much more. My car came out with dirt still on the front and the dryers did a terrible job. By the time I got home, the soap/water has created streaks all down the front and sides of my car...looking like I hadnt had a car-wash at all. Maybe the detailing is better, but the quality of the regular wash was not greater than that of a car wash at a gas station (which dries your car better).

I frequent both the Plano and Dallas locations. The experience is consistent and worth the money. The drive-through wash is good but I mostly come here for the full service package. They have good discounts when you load up a card too. The only downside to this place is that the waiting area is outdoors so in the summer it can be too hot to wait for a full detail unless you go early in the morning. I wouldn’t dock a star for that since a lot of car washes have the same setup. Helpful reminder: Don’t forget tip money if you get your tires cleaned by hand.

Right after a storm these clowns decide to price gouge for a carwash. Suddenly the $7 option is no longer available with the most customers they have had in years. Way to take advantage of the situation, but I am not surprised.

My car was not dirty. Just went get some clean because it was dusty. I paid 12 dollar for auto wash and hand dry. But it is not a good wash because bird poop still on the window.

Just had a fantastic experience at Carmel Car Wash! Car looks squeaky clean and on top of that, one of the employees bought my husband and I ice cream from an ice cream truck that happened to be there! Made our day. We’ll definitely be back!

This is the only place we wash our cars. Service is usually friendly. I’ve only once had to complain because they didn’t thoroughly vacuum inside. Other than that, it’s a great fully automated car wash and I like that we can use the complimentary vacuums when we don’t opt for full service.

The best one I’ve found so far most you go to leave scratches all on your car but this one is cool. I try to hand wash as much as possible though still the machines is not always good to wash your car be smart folks

I went to Carmel for the first time. The inside of my car was absolutely filthy (so was the outside). I thought that the price was a bit high but you know the old saying you get what you pay for. The young man who cleaned my car did an amazing job. The interior was absolutely coated with dog hair, dog nose slobber, spilled dirt from my potted plants as well as an array of other dirt. This young man worked on my car for almost 30 min. It was spotless when he was done. It was worth every penny. I am very pleased with the service.

If I could rate this place negative stars I would! Very few of the vacuums work properly. I paid for the Carmel Special and you’re better off paying a 3 year old to wash your car, I bet they’d leave less streaks.... NOW I have go somewhere else to wash my car again. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. You’re welcome in advance!

Wash didnt effectively clean the outside of the vehicle. Free vaccuums after wash are a great value though.

Lol the up sells are not worth it. $100 for a $15 dollar value. Vacuum was weak. Mats don’t get cleaned and it was a nasty splash of armorall in the inside.No wipe down before the armorall so it just looks like spilled oil. If you do go here, get the basic wash. Or just go somewhere else. Trust me.

The automated wash wasn’t able to properly clean the rear window of my SUV. Nor was there a proper pre-wash.

Will not be going here anymore. Higher than usual prices, so I expect a great and consistent wash/service. Lately I’ve noticed my car has not really been getting washed and hand dried properly. Last time I was there I had to run through the wash station twice because no one set the wash on and my car literally just flew by all the stations without anything running. Finally, I’ve been noticing scratches that were clearly not there before. I do not recommend at all.

Staff is not much of a help getting inside the washing machine, no towel provided to dry up your car if you just get the wash. The one cross the street is better
