Had my oil changed here a while ago. Was great. Fast, in and out. But the car wash…. $20 bucks for a basic exterior and interior clean!! Very nice lobby, great bang for buck. I’ll be back forsure.

Salomon handled my complete detail and made sure to communicate with me about my wishes throughout. I will ask for him in the future. WashGuys spent 4.5 hours detailing my Mazda van. It smells and looks wonderful!

Don Francisco he dries the cars, he is awesome, really kind and noble.... I have a membership somewhere else and as soon as my month is over I will transfer my monthly services to this location.... The guy charging was also kind and really helpful!!!

I had been going to Plaza for years. No more. It’s very awkward to get out of your car after you drive it through. Car sits in the sun before they can dry. Music is way too loud in waiting area. I can’t make phone calls. There is no verification ticket given when it’s time to pick up your car. They lost me as a customer!

I have been coming to Plaza Car wash for years, too many to count. I came today to find a new company (Washguys) had taken over. I gave it a chance but to be sadly disappointed. They remodeled the inside but seem to have lossed the costumer service and attention to detail I loved about Plaza. The inside was not cleaned, barley even wiped down. The outside looked ok …but it was the inside that looked the way it did when I arrived. I came back to the front and they ask what I wanted done …and i told them this is how the car looked AFTER they cleaned it. Sorry that was bad that even they thought the car needed to be cleaned. . And that was after paying extra for the interior to be cleaned. I am not sure what happened to this long standing Dallas establishment but unless you just need a quick exterior was I would look elsewhere for a new car wash home. 😢RIP Plaza!

Paid 100.00 and my car was still filthy. The interior was not vacuumed like I was told it would be. Windows were still dirty. I paid 20 extra dollars for the interior to be wiped down but after it was done and I saw that it was still dirty I was told seats are not included. My wheels were not washed. I literally had to start wiping dirt off my own car with their rags... Once I started doing that everyone walked away. I should not be washing my own car at a car wash that I just handed them 100.00Will never come back. Horrible.Better off hiring a mobile guy to come to your house bc they will actually do a good job on your car bc they want you to use them again. This place doesnt care

Car service went okay - no problem. I paid extra for interior cleaning. Lousy job on interior. Left half of dash dirty. Fancy upgrades to this business but I liked the old system better.

The new Management/Owner(s) might want to check out all the reviews posted on Facebook. One thing you DONT want being this close to Highland Park/Park Cities/Oaklawn is a BAD reputation. Just FYI.

On July 20 I had my car wash at the $29 level which included a spray wax and inside cleaning. I noticed they did not wipe down the inside windshield which had a film and made viewing difficult.(Maybe because of the heat) I called on 7/30 to ask if they could wipe it down. They said because I waited too long they could not be sure it was their service that caused the problem...Well it was their lack of service... I think they could have provided that tiny service for their customers. No I wont be going back for their overpriced sloppy car wash.

All of the 4-5 star reviews was from when this was Plaza Car Wash. Be warned, this is under new ownership and does not deserve good reviews.The Plaza ownership was great, new owners jacked up the price 40% and installed worse quality cleaning equipment. Hard pass going forward, it’s a shame.

I have been a customer for awhile and all I can say is I missed the old Plaza Carwash they took their business serious in providing what a customer is looking for. The new modification that has been made just doesnt feel welcoming anymore and the job doesnt get well done. There is no other place like Plaza Carwash please bring it back!

Just seem like they only want to clean amd wipe down luxury cars. Any other cars its just a dumb up take it home and wipe it down your self. Yet both customers pay the same. I would give no star. On top of that, third time taking going and same results.

As a 22-year weekly customer of plaza car wash, i find it hard to believe the new owners did ANY research into why this car wash was a neighborhood institution. if i wanted a car wash that operated in the ways they’ve changed it i would have used the 2 other car washes 3 blocks away.the only reason i’ll continue to use it is to support (thru generous tips) the long-time employees the owners at least had the good sense to keep.

Almost all, if not all the reviews you see are stolen from when this place was plaza car wash. I paid 64 dollars for inside and out cleaning. Outside was ahhh, adequate. I ask the guy who took my money that I needed the front mats cleaned. He said that would be 2 dollars extra. I said ok. They did clean them but the interior wasnt vacuum well at all. Crumbs and dust all over the seats, front and back. Smudged all over the trim and front windshield on the inside. Computer screen was also Smudged. Ill have to take my hand vacuum and clean it tomorrow. Dont waste your time and money. The reason I took my car to plaza was I dont have time to do it myself. Its not Plaza anymore. Washguys bought it and sucks. Plaza didnt make it through the pandemic. Plaza come back, PLEASE!!! I WILL NOT BE BACK TO WASHGUYS ANYMORE. PERIOD!

This is a good car wash. But I guess I am going to need a special product to remove the bugs.

I’de been coming to this place for the past 5 years but lately they door poorly job on detail, wiping, etc. I didn’t even bother going back to get my windows clean right, the inside was not vacuum right, the prices are high now too for such a poor job they’re doing.Hard to go away but today was my last time going here, taking my money somewhere else.

Unclear instructions on how the new place works (when to stay in car, get out, where to wait, how they find you with no ticket, the fact you can wait inside, etc). If you don’t want to lose a lot of Plaza Car Wash customers, please look at the experience from their view. Prices are higher, too, and although remodel is nice, the confusing experience does not make this good value.

The lobby is so uncomfortable with loud blaring music- I would suggest no music or sound. There are already TVs and WiFi offered- seriously sensory overload.

You probably just bought a 2014 CLA or A3 and want to go flex that you’re washing your car where all the expensive cars get washed.Either that or you assume since nice cars get washed there that they probably have good service and don’t leave swirls. And to that I will say, you are right.I took my girlfriends car(new only hand washed by me) as a guinea pig before I took mine here. I don’t drive anything fancy, but I do hand wash my car and like to keep it nice, but honestly I’m getting a little lazy.Happy to report I saw no swirls on her paint.And the inside was cleaned VERY WELL.I did the $40 wash (I think it was that one)Because that’s the package where they clean the crevices inside with the compressed air.10/10I thought there was no saving that center console and they did.

The staff consistently do a good job cleaning vehicles, which may explain why they have repeat customers for years. They are also very efficient. I appreciate the cleaning service they provide and the customer service with a smile.

We’ve used Plaza for quite a few years for car washes and oil changes on 3 cars. We had never encountered any issues since the service’s are pretty straight forward. The last oil change done, it appeared that the washer line to the front windshield was accidentally clipped when shutting the hood. No biggie, happens. Let’s have them help fix it. When I went back, the woman I spoke to was defensive and there were all sorts of reasons why it wasn’t their issue but, never an offer for any sort of support to help fix the problem.So, customer service is not great when there are problems.

My last experience has been my best so far. Hopefully I can have the same continued service the next time I go back.

$120.00 for oil change. They also went thought my glove box for some reason . Some papers missing from my car, I asked about them and they all just looked at me. No answer. Car wash, Not good . MISS THE OLD PLACE.NOT GOING BACK THERE!

Super disappointing that the new owners of Plaza car wash got rid of the happy hour special. The old website hasn’t switched over but all of their pricing has changed.

Wish I could give them half stars would like this to be 3.5. Always do a good, but miss some details. Windshield was streaky and totally missed cleaning the gear shift area. They get the area while it is in park, but never clean it while it is a different gear. Got work to do to get 5 stars.....

I love this place so much! Every time I come here everyone is nice, everything is done fast and perfect. I did my inspection here and it didn’t take long like other places. I always come here for anything I need, and will continue to come always.

New management not working well. This place has been my car wash choice for many years, but today was awful. Wait time was long, they no longer take coupons and prices have increased. Not the value or service it was in the past.

I would recommend Plaza Car Wash & Lube Center to my friends and family. I have been coming here for a little over a year for oil changes and state inspections as well as your basic exterior car wash. Today I went ahead and had my interior completely detailed and the finished product turned out amazing. The carpet, seats and interior roof were cleaned and shampooed. There were paper mats in place when I picked up my car as well as a plastic covering over the driver seat!For the gentleman below me leaving a one star review, shame on you. If youre worried about masks then go somewhere else if youre that concerned. Every employee inside of the facility that I spoke to had a mask on, some customers did not have masks but there isnt currently a rule that requires a mask. There were a few car wash employees that did not have masks on but I didnt speak to them and I didnt really see them interacting with the customer so I have no issue there. They are outside in 90+ degree heat washing and cleaning cars, I couldnt imagine wearing a mask over my face for eight hours doing that.

I usually go to Plaza for my oil changes because of the free car wash. I hadnt been in a while, so I was recently surprised to find out the washes arent free anymore. Theyre $5 with oil changes, so its still not too bad.

They charge extra for everything, I paid 28 dollars and they didnt clean my seats! I was told that was extra and they didnt wipe the doors down inside.

The best in the neighborhood since 1997, you could go to the new guys, but it takes longer than 5 mins to change your oil the proper way! My trucks are 200k plus miles and still strong.

This review is long over due. I have been a customer since this shop opened. I was away for a trip, and my father was generous enough to get my oil change at this location. When I came back a plastic piece underneath the car came undone. It could have been me hitting a bump or couldve been a mechanic at the shop that forgot to screw a piece in. I called up the shop and ask for the manager, and the manager didnt ask questions and just said sure come by the shop. When I got there I explained to the mechanic (wish I had gotten his name) about the situation, and again with out questioning me, he said to just pull up. After 5 minutes he came back smiled and said I was good to go. I dont even think his manager even told him I called. Im so thankful they made this less of an ordeal than I had suspected it to be. Again, it could have been my fault that made that piece come undone. I have a sports car so it sits pretty low. Not only did they display outstanding service, but also a good representation of how a real man handle things.

I pay for a full service wash with wheels and tires. They ALWAYS seem to miss the inside front windshield and the back glass. The interior dusting was a half attempt, and the wheels were worse than when I brought them in. HOW you ask? the tunnel did not clean them so the attendant half wiped at them with a towel only. (So dry dirt is being wipe across the wheels) STILL NOT CLEAN. However they are consistent, Ive been here 3 times and everytime the service and quality is the same.) Last time was today. Dont waste your money here.

Ive gone to this car wash off and on for over a decade, and they actually do a decent job. My brother had his Ipod stolen from his car here years ago and management didnt care, but then again they have signs saying that you need to remove valuables. HEED THIS WARNING, but why a one star review? BECAUSE THIS PLACE DOESNT CARE ONE BIT ABOUT THE SAFETY OF ITS CUSTOMERS OR EMPLOYEES. I go to get my car inspection here during the COVID crisis and the employee isnt wearing a mask and he walks right up to my window with no care or concern for his own health or mine. Patrons inside not wearing masks, zero social distancing or any care for their customers or employees at ALL. I will never return here ever again, EVER AGAIN. Why would I? You dont care about my well being so why should I give you my money when I can get my car inspected and washed at 10 different places within one mile. I normally dont leave reviews like this but for the safety of the public avoid this place at all costs.

The employee sandro barajas was so rude thru out the entire process from my state inspection and on top of that he wasnt wearning a mask or gloves .

Plaza earned 5-stars from me by being a rare gem in an industry where full service is becoming harder to find and especially at reasonable prices. I shouldn’t have to pay the equivalent of an insurance bill in order to have someone vacuum my car and wipe down the inside. Plaza pampered my car, front to back, inside and out, top to bottom and the price was more than reasonable. My car looked better than the day I purchased it. I’ve been looking for a place in my new neighborhood that checked off the entire list and this was it! I will be coming through on a regular basis!

I was told to come by early in the morning on a Saturday to get my interior detailed. I came by just to be told they are closed and don’t have enough people to get my interior done. Very bad business for you guys. This would’ve been my first time here but you guys can’t keep your word.

Just left Plaza Car Wash. I paid for the most expensive was they have. The interior has places they never even touched. When I pointed it out, they just said “okay.” I’ll never give them another dollar.

Worst car wash ever. After it was “done” I noticed that the car didn’t even look like it had gone though the wash. You could stroke the front and back bumper with your finger and all the dirt and grime was still there. It had looked like they vacuumed the car for maybe 30 seconds and forgot about the rear. I called out a manager who said guess they just didn’t wipe well enough. Then proceeded to wipe the car with a dirty rag and tried to convince me that the rag wouldn’t cause scratches. Then he left the rag on my drivers seat (which I saw him remove) and tried to deny the new stain mark on my leather seat was not him. He was rude and not helpful. Save yourself the hassle and go to a different car wash.

Called and took appointment with Jane for noon. At the driveway, I was told no appointments. Guy was friendly to ask me to come back later.

Showed up 5 min till close and got turned away. Long time customer.....smh

I took my SUV here to have a synthetic oil change in which I paid over $80 for. Only to find out the next day once my check engine light came on that they never put oil back in my vehicle after removing the old oil. How hard is it to remove, then replace oil??? I had to pay Nissan $75 for a diagnostic to find all of this out, however the manager did reimburse me for it. I dont recommend this place, go to Mobile 1/2 mile up the street for faster services and less cost!!!

I am going to contact management tomorrow before I go into detail with my review. Ill send the photos (of some scratches) to them first and write my review based on the results of that conversation.Update : I called them the day that this occurred and unfortunately was not able to return until a few days later. I called and spoke with Arely Cedillo and she was very responsive. I sent the photos of the issue spots and she said that I could come back at my convenience and they would take care of it. I just got back and while the scratches are still there, they look much better. There was no questioning when I got there who I was, they were ready to go and took care of the issue. I would be willing to go back here again and give them a shot one more time. Thank you for taking care of this issue.

Plaza Car Wash Is The Best In Dallas, Friendly Team & Quality Service!

I was told my service would take 1 to 1.5 hours so I decided to wait.... For 4 hours. Monday afternoon, not that busy, no explanation given. Will not be returning.

Had a coupon for a free wash. It was a basic wash that took care of what was required. The windows could be cleaned better. But than again the poor guys were working under direct sunlight with no shade while drying so I understand.

Had my car inspected quickly and efficiently. The inspection results are available immediately in the state system. When I went to the Dallas County Tax Office to pickup my inspection sticker, there were no lags in receiving my results. Gentleman at this location was very helpful guiding me through the process.

This place doesn’t want your business. Horrible customer service. Much better places to go in the area.

Horrible service!!! Whatever you do dont take your car here. Asked for state inspection and if they could put in head light I just bought at OReilly across street. Was told that it is too hard and complicated to do on my Cadillac. Sir, what you are looking at is a Lexus. And it is a matter of popping the light in once you get the cover off. Guy didnt even know what kinda of car he was looking at. Just was too lazy to help me. Then proceeded to call the sweet fella at OReilly a liar.

I have been going to this car wash for almost a year. Ive noticed recently the quality of the car wash has declined,but thats not the reason I decided to write this review. Last week an employee from this location stole my wallet & bought gas and etc on my card. I called to see if anyone had the wallet or found it and was told no. The next day I received a call from the Richardson Police department telling me they had 2 guys in custody and when they arrested them they had my ID along with others in their possession. I dont live in Richardson, & I have never even been there before. Although I was able to get my ID back (not my wallet or credit cards bc they are still missing) I had to go through the process of replacing all of my card, which are still missing and still trying to be accessed. I would NOT recommend this car wash to anyone unless you want to be caught up in fraudulent activity.

I come here almost everytime I need an oil change and get the free wash. I feel like it is a great value. If I see anything after the vacuum or wash Im unhappy with it was addressed right away. Which has only been twice once on the wash once on the vacuum. They follow my requests even on the free service. I have also purchased detailing services and specialty shampoos. Great staff! Its usually pretty speedy service but maybe Ive been pretty lucky or just hit them at the right time.

I paid for the more expensive car wash, I think it was like $35, somewhere in there. Well, as part of the service they armor all the inside of your car, but they slopped it everywhere. A little common sense goes a long way; you don’t put armor all on the hard plastic inside the car. Why would you put armor all the inside of the door handles, why would you put armor all all over the radio dials? And then on top of that, I have hard back plastic seats, in the backseat. Why didn’t they wipe those off, why did I have to do it myself, because that’s not part of the service? When you pay a little more, you expect a little more, but obviously that was not the case in this scenario.

If I could rate them a negative one then I would. The mechanic that had two years of experience did not tighten my oil plug. I drove around for 10 days not knowing that I was leaking oil. Once I found out I called and the place and they sent someone out to my job to fix the situation. The mechanic kept reiterating that he had 20 years of experience and my car wouldve been fine going a few more days leaking oil. Now my car only takes 4 to 4.5 quarts of oil and he said that probably lost a quart of oil. Come to find out he put two quarts of oil in there!! Thats basically half my oil that my car needs. I would have to say that he did try to make the situation better by offering me a free under carriage wash to get the excess oil that has been leaking from my car while driving. I appreciated the offer but I will never take my car back to a mechanic that has 20 years of experience and forget to tighten the oil plug.

Great people, very nice. But they left the interior of my vehicle very, very oily: steering wheel, radio buttons, the shift gear, everything that you touch to drive. I had to get paper towels at home to wipe everything down, it helped a little. But four-stars for service!

Wash service was fine, but took longer than expected. Also, refused to change my oil because the car had over 100k on it. Apparently they would rather have their staff stand around than accept an easy sale. Went down the street to Take 5 and got premium oil change with no problem.

Overall a good experience. Under $50 for an oil change and car wash (including an interior vacuum and wipe down). Was the wash the best ever? No, but since it came with my oil change, I didnt mind. They didnt try to push other products or services on me (a big win in my book) and even noted a small chip in my windshield. Called my insurance for me and got that all covered (so no charge there). I was in and out in about 25 mins. Id recommend and go back again.

What a joke. I took my wifes Volkswagen in for a state inspection. The car was serviced at the dealership 3 weeks ago. The car is A+. The inspector comes back and tells me the right headlight is loose. I go to the car. The light is locked in solid. I ask her to demonstrate the problem, since I cannot move the light 1/8th of a millimeter. She refuses to do. I am incredulous. I ask her again. Once again, she refuses. I dont even know what to say. If she cant demonstrate theres a problem, whats the agenda? Why refuse to show me the problem? If I could give this place negative 1,000 stars I would.

I came about 30 minutes before they closed, and they still washed my car in 10-15 minutes. The clerk even gave me a $2 coupon! Great experience.

The place is are super convenient and the wash attendant are really dedicated and cool!

General Manager to me: WE DONT CLEAN YOUR CAR.I purchased the Superior Wash, and it was a huge disappointment. I asked the manager to have the attendant please remove the dirt and dust from the dash several times. The dust and dirtiness were still very visible. Very very lazy work. I would not recommend this place if it were free. The service was very quick (I will give them that), but it was not done properly at all! They left dirt on the floor and mats, dust on the dash and console. I had to tell him three time to wipe down the doors! I should not have to stand out by my car and tell them how to do their job. When I asked the GM for a rag and was cleaning my car I said, why is this not included in my $20 wash? That took minimal effort. Ron (GM) tells me it was extra to wipe down stains or dirt. They tell the employees to WIPE the vehicles.Sir we dont CLEAN your car...thats extra LOL After this exchange he just walked off without asking his employee to finish the work properly or offering to fix it. Just walked right off. I gave him every opportunity to turn this around. Heck I was honestly hoping he would get the hint! I was not bashing anyone or causing a scene, but apparently thats out of his realm. I think its safe to say I will not be going back...ever.

Even on a day where they were completely swamped the service was fast and friendly. They changed my cars oil, air filters, and washed my car. Very pleased with the experience overall. This is my new go-to oil change place in Dallas!

Spent extra for one of the premium washes and before I could even drive away I realized there were still bug splats all over the window. I explained this to the attendant and he handed me a rag to scrub it off with. Really?! Once I got home I became even more infuriated to find out the undercarriage wasnt washed and there were still dirt spots all over the doors and bumper. I ended up taking the car to a $5 automatic wash at a nearby gas station and it did a better job than whoever runs this place. STAY AWAYYYY!

Being going to Plaza for over 15yrs. Getting all my cars detailed, inspected, serviced etc. Plaza does excellent work including car washing!!!!!!

I paid 60 for a detail wash exterior and interior and all I’m gone say is they did a horrible job. I still have water streaks my widows are dirty, the inside was just ok but the wash it self was horrible. I use to like this place don’t think I’ll be returning 😔
