If I could do negative stars I would! WORST PLACE EVER TO LIVE!!! Even with new management. They are unorganized and unprofessional. My refrigerator has been leaking for 3 months now! I have put in so many work orders. Maintenance came ONCE AND DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! The manager lied straight to my face and said they had a new refrigerator on back order for me turns out they don’t! I would suggest a homeless shelter before wasting your money to live here!!! You can’t even get anybody to answer the phone most of the time! They should consider closing these apartments completely!
Horrible place to live. Ive been here a year and a half and new management took over when it was time to resign my lease. They are extremely unprofessional, unorganized and clueless. The office never answers the phone or emails back. Every month there has been a new issue with my rent such as random fees i cant get anyone to fix which causes late fees. I have always paid rent on time, i dont bother anyone and get treated poorly by staff (office staff changes every couple months and is never consistent). I have seen rats outside but non in the apartment but there are roaches. Do not rent from these apartments.
Run away if your looking into a apartment this is the worst decision you can make! Infested with ROACHES & RATS, people should not be expected to live in these conditions when they are paying these people money! Terrible apartments, water issues and a lot of the things have broken down while living there, I couldn’t even use my BRAND NEW keurig for coffee anymore because the roaches moved there way inside and I refuse to use it now, staff can also be very rude, definitely not a good place to live, especially with a family.

I am a CURRENT resident here. PLEASE don’t move here. Maintenance does not fix anything, the management and staff here are rude and will hang up in your face when you try to call. These apartments are INFESTED with rats, mice, and roaches and they REFUSE to do anything about it. If I could rate them a 0 that’s what it would be. Highly do NOT recommend please don’t waste your time here. They’re cheap but you get EXACTLY what you pay for.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!!!! My air conditioning has been out for 5 days. I put in work orders and went up to the office twice and still haven’t fixed the AC. There are people here who’s air has been out for 2 weeks! There was someone supposed to come today to fix my AC they never showed up. The maintenance and the staff here are terrible. There is a pest problem in the whole complex. People have been breaking their leases to get out of here. Management has been replaced so many times and it only gets worse. They expect you to pay rent on time but can’t fix anything. They violated my renter’s right and code and compliance guidelines. It makes no sense that I have to call code and compliance in order for people to do their job. This is literally the apartment community from hell and hands down the worst experience I’ve ever had as a renter.
These are the worse apartments Ive ever lived in. I moved in September 6th without no refrigerator. They brought one 2 weeks later that wouldnt get cold. And the doors were facing the wall so I couldnt really get in it anyway. Then they charged me Sept and October utilities on November rent invoice. I paid it $160. When I received December invoice it had another$160 charge for utilities. When I asked why water and gas was so high considering I wasnt home but 2 weeks if the month. The rep told me the utilities company they used billed that contact them but if I dont pay they would charge me $10 each day its not paid tho my lease states late fee will only be charged for unpaid rent. The lady said thats true but they charge a late fee if the account have an amount due over $100. When I ask for a break down of bill she provided bill for Sept and October. When I asked why I was being billed for the same bill I paid last month she stated I would have to speak with a manager. Provided a number to a voicemail. I called and I guy answered stating I the same thing. I told him I get off at 6 pm in which time they would be closed. I cant get to the office till Saturday. He stated they will charge me until issue is resolved... If youre thinking about moving here dont. They try to get your money and give you no reAl information and when you keep getting notes saying they are going to lock you out of the apartment if you dont pay then you feel like you need to pay before youre homeless... This is not right or fair they can bill you but not verify why your bill is what it is.
If I can give this place zero stars I would, from the bugs, leaking sealing, the always out of water, and to the constant breaking down of the AC. They also lost my move out paperwork saying I didnt turn it in then magically found it after I left work 5 different time. Also dont get me started how they tried to make me pay $900 plus after I move out for 2 months because they said they had problems and when I call them about it they wouldnt give a answer on what the problems is . If I was you stay FAR FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE .
Just moved in. My apartment was perfect. I love the floor plans at Brooklyn@9669. Its quite and clean. My heat was not working, maintenance was there until 10 PM and it was fixed. Five stars. Thank you.
Our unit was given to us badly painted and looks like something it took a day to do. You can get a better value for your money at a different place. I’m stuck here in lease.
UPDATE: Ive been trying to resign my lease since February. Due to COVID I cant afford to move. Its now almost April.. Ive called, reapplied, emailed, and gone in person twice. Each time its Ill get this to my manager and nothing.Even paid a month to month fee last rent because they were late in having me resign. Was told it would be credited and havent heard jack from the office. I pay on time, I dont cause issues, I hardly even need maitanance. Youd think theyd want more people like that but they cant even answer the phone to keep them there.During the winter storm, I had a spot appear on my ceiling. Put in a work order and got a your work order has been completed text and nobody ever showed up. So hopefully it doesnt cave.Lost AC last summer when it was 105°, and after four days c of trying to get it fixed finally called emergency maitanance because my cat was literally having a heat stroke. They finally brought me a window unit. Why couldnt they do that from the first day?! Thankfully my boyfriend is a vet tech, and my cat was okay. But I had to take him to work for a day JUST because my apartment was 115° inside.But hey. I took care of the roaches ON MY OWN because nobody would help me. So at least thats dealt with. Lord knows they didnt send anyone out.Roaches. Roaches like you wouldnt believe.My apartment is clean, and I make sure to do my dishes, etc. Now when I move out I have to TAKE THESE ROACHES WITH ME BECAUSE THEYRE GERMAN ROACHES.Been here for almost a year and bug guy came out for a month then just stopped.Not that it did anything.

********UPDATE********The apartments are still falling apart...there are new people in the office AGAIN! The good part Victoria McCoy was a big help...she made sure my maintenance tickets were put in even called them while I stood there and waited...also Juan Hernandez (maintenance man) was very helpful too...I stopped him in the middle of him fixing someone’s else ticket...not only did he accept my request he worked through his lunch to fix it******Victoria McCoy*******is one of the nicest and respectful people I have met working for this complex...it takes a lot to deal with ppl mad /yelling in your face and/or fixing problems that existed before you came...and she had risen to every occasion with patience and classP.S. the holes in my ceiling came back and it’s been 3 months and it still isn’t fixed...but they put up a new wall and door in the office*****VICTORIA McCOY & JUAN HERNANDEZ *****are the only two reasons this review was not a one star...hopefully them two can show other workers here how it’s done and I can give even more stars...I really wish I could just rate the workers bc THOSE TWO DESERVE A FIVE STAR RATING
The tow truck almost hit my truck because it was going fast with a car behind it NOT properly secured. The Security guys literally knocked on my door with a shotgun and other guns pointed at me as I opened the door but they had the wrong apartment (showing how organized their work is) I could’ve easily have been shot if I had some sort of “weapon” in my hand. They did not bother to get real officers before knocking on my door with their guns. Looking forward to leaving, you can literally rent a house for the same pricing and not deal with these unprofessionals.
Today during the rain when I come back to work I had a Broken window so I went to the office to tell them to send some one to fixe it after all the bad reviews I tough they were going to take for ever but after 2 hours I got a call from the office that the window was fixed great service I been here couple of months and every thing is great I love the apartment the out side like parking lots and some apartments need some maintenance and there is trash everywhere but I think if all the community work together and try to be cleaner every think will be better and get rid off all the tenants that doesn’t take care off the apartments Y’all should fix the apartment charge more so you can get rid off all that trashy people that live here
I HAVE BEEN LIVING HERE FOR ONLY TWO MONTHS! I will have to say that when I first moved into this complex I was sincerely less than pleased. I was told many things and I would have to say nothing was ready the day I moved in. I had wholes all in the walls of my apartment and things seem to be falling apart. I found roaches and spiders in every room coming out of the holes. I thankfully new to cover every hole and thankfully havent seen a bug since. I have two infant children so of course that was very alarming. After letting the office staff know via my move in inspection and coming into the office..nothing changed or was fixed. BUT FINALLY ALMOST TWO MONTHS LATER...A wonderful respectful maintenance man by the name of Eddie Parrish came and fixed everything I had been complaining about since I have been here except for the big holes that require a lot more work. His professional and pleasant demeanor sincerely restored a little more faith in the decision I made and definitely pay for to move my family here. Thank you Mr. Parrish and this management company should sincerely be grateful to have. So if I am honest this 5 stars are for you guys hiring this man. Thank you for the change!
Dont move here !!!! It is a disgusting place, when we entered they gave us the apartment in very bad condition, dirty, it had a hole in the ceiling and it was always leaking and many other things. Now that we left they charged us almost $ 2000 for cleaning we tried to leave the apartment as clean as we could. Another thing is that it is very unsafe.
I love living here! I just moved in my leasing agent Fares was amazing & made my move in so easy! I recently had my kitchen light out & when I informed Karla she took care of me the same day!! Take in mind they have over one thousand apartments so for her to take care of me & my neighbors so quickly is amazing! She sure knows how to run that office! Thank you to the whole staff for being so kind! I love my home!
If I could rate this apartment complex any lower I would. They have the poorest maintenance staff and office team. When I moved in April I requested for the carpet to be changed due to it smelling like a motel (cigarette smoke) because I have a 4 month old baby. My baby later started having nasal congestion and breathing issues due to the horrible smell. Eventually, my baby’s pediatrician wrote a letter stating this issue needed to be fixed, which I emailed to Christiane (one of the leasing agents). I have given them options on replacing the carpet or switching me units, It has been weeks and nothing has been done yet! I have tried calling maintenance, leasing office; I have left voicemails and have also emailed Christiane and No Answer or Call Backs! My child health is most important to me! I do NOT recommend these apartments what’s so ever!
Where should I start! First off the customer service and that Manager is something RUDE, very unprofessional and lack of compassion. Now safety is a HUGE issue here if you value your life and property please think twice about moving here. People drive in the parking lot at the same speed as if they’re on HWY 635 security stay stationary in their cars at the front, their never around to catch things happening in this large complex. The office area is clean but once you drive around the complex it’s dirty and trash is everywhere. Pest control is a issue as well. Maintenance takes up to a month or longer to respond and it’s never fix right I wish I could give 0 stars for customer service
I have been living here for almost 4 years now. I have never ever felt respected and well-treated by the previous staff and management. It was nearly impossible to meet with the office manager in person in terms of having any complaints. For the first time in a long time I feel respected and very well treated by the new friendly faces staff whenever I stop by. Also, I am very impressed by and happy to have Victoria McCoy- the new retention manager among the new wonderful staff. Whenever I stop by, she welcomes me with a smile that makes me feel I really belong to this community and makes me wanting to come back over and over. Not like before. I really hated stopping by the leasing office. She is really great at multitasking as she works with a person and welcomes the other one and making everyone there happy. Managers always sit behind their desk in a closed door-room, but she broke this rule and always stands at the reception area to help people and welcome others. I can go on and on and it will not be enough to type down how wenderful she is and the new management as well. I deeply recommend this place now.
Victoria McCoy in the retention officeI have lived here for a year now and I honestly have nothing bad to say except for the fact that the leasing/residents office is always busy. Other than that i love love love my apartment space and there are no parking issues nor any issues with my neighbors. And Victoria is very super nice and professional! 😁
They’re unprofessional at all. I paid everything for them and after one month i am getting paper from collection company asking me to pay 1660 dollars without even telling me I owe them any money. I signed all the papers and I got out without any money
Victoria McCoy in the retention . Vineyard at Forest edge is a place to be and to live. 3 yrs is like yesterday. The staffs is wholesome. Very welcoming set of people. My neighbors are very pleasant. I recommend everyone to come in and have a taste of secured security and a pleasant environment.Vicky, is one best staff you must meet. Always there to solve issues. Security people give you the death stare as you come in. You get treated good when you are new but when you get to a year they rise your rent and lower your maintenance. New underpaid tow truck company damaged my vehicle.
Horrible company. Hands down worst place I have ever rented. I moved in 6 months ago and repeatedly reported mold to them. They have still yet to fix the issue. I have had roaches for 3 months and every time the pest control has been rescheduled. They came in once without my knowledge or consent to spray and it didn’t work. They were going to come a second time and that got rescheduled 3 times. They said us and the dog had to be out so we boarded the dog and they didn’t show up. When they finally came in a second time They said we could all be there the dog just had to be in a separate room. We locked him in the bedroom and they barely did anything. When told he could spray everything he needed to, we were told everyone had to be out of the apartment.These are just some of the issues here.My car got towed because I was told an incorrect towing time. They said towing started at 7pm. at around 6-615pm my first day, I arrived, parked in a visitor space, and unloaded some boxes. I spent about 5-10 minutes inside and came out and my car was gone. I went to the office to ask if it had been towed and they advised me to file a police report because it must’ve been stolen since they start towing at 7. In the middle of filing my police report, the tow truck showed back up. My boyfriend asked and were told they started towing at 6, not 7.And there’s even more.The dumpsters are constantly overflowing.There’s glass and garbage all over the sidewalks.I’ve accidentally paid a fee twice and had the money pulled from my account as “account reconciliation” instead of leaving it as a credit. I also overpaid my rent by $1 last month and It pulled out as “miscellaneous income”. I advise all current residents to check their history to make sure your money isn’t being stolen!!!There was even one time my boyfriend was on our patio and maintenance and security walked by with 2 newborn kittens in a tote that had glass and trash in it and they were about to throw them in the dumpster!No one in the office or the corporate office ever answers the phone and I’ve been lied to every time I step foot in the office. The also refuse to give you a copy of a work order until the order is completed.I will never rent from any property affiliated with them every again. If I could get out of my lease right now, I would, but unfortunately I’m stuck here for another 6 months.
I moved in last year when they changed owners. At first I didnt know what to expect since I just moved to this country. I was greeted by lovely leasing agents and very helpful people. My apartment was very spacious and if i had any issues with it the maintenance was sent to fix them. They have changed their staff a few times but it is for the best. They make me feel welcomed all the time. I would recommend this place if your looking for great amenities to enjoy. They have a great fitness center that I can use 24 hours a day. So when I get off from work late I can enjoy it. Also they have a beautiful club house that I have actually used to celebrate my children birthdays. They also have a after school program that my children do attend for free.Definitely would recommend this place! Renewed my lease for one more year! Good job Vineyards at Forest Edge!
Trashiest place you can live in, if you are looking for a place where you can live with your family or make a family this apartments or not the place for you. this people that run the place are the most disgusting ever, they don’t care about your living or your apartment, what they care about is for you to pay them even if you don’t owe them anything they make up fees. this place is terrible, you hear gunshots weekly, you hear people fighting and when there’s a problem with your apartment they take weeks even months for them to send someone so they can fix it. it’s sad because this apartments weren’t like this before, i don’t know what to say. i recommend not to live here at all especially if you have kids. i recently got a call from news channel to talk about the vineyards might possibly do it and talk about how nasty this place is.
I just moved in to Vineyards at Forest Edge in January 2018. When I 1st got my apartment I had a couple of maintenance issue but I went to the office and spoke with my the retention specialist Karla and she had all my issues resolved within 24 hours. The maintenance guy who came to my apartment was very respectfully and helpful. This has been a much better experience than my previous apartments where I lived at called Walnut Bend Apartments. Im gonna try and get my sister to join me here when here lease is up.
This apts need to be shutdown for good everything is bad, look for something else.Im almost out and still didnt fix my apt. They put up numbers to call that has no service.
Great staff, always very helpful! They are always helpful, and someone is available in the office during office hours. Any maintenance requests I had were always addressed immediately. Thanks again guys!! As far as the crime, Ive never personally experiences any crime, nor have I heard of any. I feel safe as a single parent it’s hard for you to find a place to call home and feel safe and Vineyards at forest edge makes me feel safe. They even offer an after-school program for my daughter so that is convenient for me since my working hour are 7am to 5:30pm so my daughter attends the program until I make it home😊 I love the renovations that they made on the fitness center!!! Thank you, guys!!! I’m renewing my lease this coming April!!!
Dallas Morning News recently ran a story about how an Afghanistan immigrant living in this place was robbed. I find this sad and ironic. I called Indigo a few months back and inquired about living there. I work 40 hours a week. I have no criminal record. I dont associate with really anyone as of yet since Im new to Dallas. I was told I could not apply without pretty much a perfect credit score, etc. No open debts. Not even credit card debt or a loan of any sort. This place, for such a poor neighborhood, had stricter requirements than much more luxurious apartments farther north. I found this strange and chalked it up to my being black. Serves them right. I hope they get all the negative spotlight they can. I have NO EVICTIONS, NO BANKRUPTCIES, NO FORECLOSURES, NO DELINQUENCIES, NO CRIMINAL RECORD and NO APARTMENT DEBTS and I was STILL NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO LIVE HERE. My room window was shattered by a stray bullet fired from in front of the apartment, building 1. For more than one month, the management refused to fix it . If you love your life, stay away from that place. So many people selling drugs and weed around there
First we sat for 15 minutes before our presence was acknowledged. Then we watched the ladies come in with Chick-fil-A and head to the back with their lunch. We left and came back after 30minutes and was informed that they would be at lunch for an hour. Maybe they arent that interested in leasing apartments OT maybe just not to US!!!
I’ve been a resident at the Vineyards for a while now. I have to say I was looking to move but the new staff is truly motivated to fix issues and were very helpful. I use to complain to the managers regularly about issues and nothing was fixed. I can say they have made changes in the office and with maintenance and I’m very happy and will be staying.
Chris the maintenance manger and Victoria McCoy retention manger were very welcoming. I enjoyed their hospitality and eagerness to help. I hope they keep it up. They made my day better.😁😁😁

The apartment has space but the maintenance culture here is terrible. I currently live here and have work orders for more than a week. The staff at the residence office are not on top of their jobs. I have a licking roof and for more than a week, no one has come to even look at it. My carpet needs to be fixed too and no one has come to even check what the work order is all about.The security bulbs are bad and it is taking more than 2 weeks to be replaced. Around the building is very dark at sunset. You guys can do better, these are not difficult stuffs to fix.

Im a current resident at this complex which up until this weekend I regret so much ! I had a problem and wanted to report it to the office, as soon as I walk in the lady that takes care of getting someone to fix this was screaming at some residents...she has the worst attitude ever. When confronted as of why she spoke to residents like this she said she didnt have to explain herself to anyone that she has kept her job for so long because of her attitude because she has the character to put up with people like US... which Im not sure what she meant. Nothing gives her the right to speak to anyone or belittle anyone. By the way this isnt the first time I hear her talking to people like this. she even talks to her coworkers like that, all bad mouthed sooo unprofessional. So to you Ms. Rosa Hernandez all I have to say is you should take some etiquette classes and to any office management if you actually take these reviews in consideration... please speak to her about her bad mouth & attitude...because as white as I look I understand Spanish clearly. We as residents PAYING rent should not have to deal with people like her. Ive never had a complain until now for most part everyone is always supper helpful and nice.
Amazing staff and property... i have lived here for 3 months and love it, from the beginning when walking through the door i was greeted with smiles and having someone actually wanting to help me, customer service is an A+ and my apartment is great i enjoy coming home after a long day at work they truly care about us residents i highly suggest you come rent here i am happy and have referred friends to vineyards at forest edge!
This place is Fantastic! I have lived here for about 6 months. The new staff is wonderful. Martha is very helpful. I ask her questions and she goes beyond herself to make me feel welcomed. I accidently went to the Leasing side and Lisa was so helpful, she walked me over to the Resident side.The new signage looks wonderful.
This is the worst place to live, if you want to avoid conflicts and headaches not even think to rent there. The complexes are a nightmare. They treat very bad the residents, so I recommended if you want to rent in this apartments go first to Google and look for the complains about this property. I didnt any search about them and now I have to lead with a lot of conflicts with them.
This place doesn’t even deserve ONE star. There’s always cockroaches around the apartments, when you call the front desk they won’t even pick up the phone, it takes them MONTHS to fix a LIGHT BULB.. Theres so many other problems with this place I can’t even begin to describe. My husband and I have lived here for less than 9 months and we can’t stand it. We’ve had sketchy people run around our apartments and when we called the security, NO ONE SHOWED UP!!! People over here having to SHOOT at these sketchy teenagers BREAKING INTO their cars and homes!! I would NOT recommend this home to anyone, not even homeless. This is a terrible... terrible... TERRIBLE establishment. To those looking for a place to live, look elsewhere. Those with family members like little babies and children, Please don’t waste your time here, you will regret it. I will give credit to one guy here tho, he is a maintenance worker named “Joe” I believe and anytime my husband an I have needed help, he’s been right there to get it done.
Vine yards at forest edge is a very nice area. close to schools and shopping centers right off 635 freeway .Im very happy with the office staff who always helps. also the maintenance staff are so very friendly who work fast on fixing any problems with my apartment.
Love, Love, Love my new loft apartment home! The location is perfect! The Maintenance Staff are all superb! Property is clean and well-maintained! Last, but not least; the Management Staff are all wonderful! Excited about the new & great changes that are being implemented to improve the property! The people who manage these apartments just dig for money. The residents who pay wont even find any parking since most of the parking lot is filled with visitors parking spots. Also they dont fix anything thats wrong with your apartment. They will find any way to charge you fees. The neighborhood is not secure at all, DO NOT RENT HERE BECAUSE YOU WILL REGRET IT.

There was a mistake made in the information I was given (human error) and she reached out to her manager Vicky Uync to see what they could do to fix it. They worked together to resolve the issue and I was very pleased! Victoria is a sweetheart and has great customer service and a very pleasant personality. I Also want to thank Juan as well, for assisting me with finding the unit that would best accommodate my son and I. Thanks guys

Maintenance has been up to date with my work orders requests, and the office staff is so kind to me. Would I refer my family or friends here? Absolutely!!!

I have been renting since I was 17 years of age, Im now 31 and I have always maintained a squeaky clean rental history. This is absolutely absurd. I have NEVER been late on paying rent, ever. I even turned in my keys to the office, I also have proof from the apt complex I moved into after The Vineyards. The Vineyards sent a rental verification form stating I have been in perfect standing my entire time as a tenant there. The form asked specifically if I moved out early or owed any money, and they answered NO. So please, someone help me understand. That makes no sense. I am not the type of person that just lets people get over on them, no I will not pay them money that I do not owe to them. I do plan on pursuing this issue further. Its a shame how greedy they are. I did everything right when I lived there. Even when they took their precious time repairing my ceiling, I had to use buckets for the rain. They did not care, I had to email management to let them know that I was going to contact the health department.....thats the only way I got it fixed. So yes please, DO NOT move here. You will REGRET it, I promise!
I currently live here and at first when i moved in it didnt go very well they lost my money order for Januarys rent but i went through corporate they were very helpful and found it, my favorite person is Marco he is always very positive and smiling i hear alot of negativity about these apartments, but they will try to help u if they can and they are able....
I am a long time resident here at this property. I am truly pleased with the new management that is now in charge of running the apartments. They are doing an overall excellent job compared to the previous owner and management group. They truly care about their residents and apartments. I have also noticed that there are a lot of changes being made to the property both interior as well as exterior. I have renewed my lease and look forward to another year here cannot wait until they open up the pools!
Hi am Jeanette I have been over here about 3 weeks and was told my apartment was ready to move in but unfortunately the same problem I had when I seen the apartment is the same problem now which is my stove doesn’t work and Christmas is tomorrow I have been calling about this problem and have been goin into the office still nothin. I really like my apartment despite what I have heard about it but I only have manor problems and can not get those fix. I don’t have a post office key and was told good luck on getting one really! I really need my stove fix and think I should be confiscated something cause this matter could have been taking care of be for Christmas so now I can’t cook for the holidays cause I have no stove. Am really hoping I can get this matter resolved cause I like said I really do like my apartment.😘
Leasing Office Staff are hard working and willing to help accommodate you in finding your next home. The Leasing staff also can speak Spanish. The security company they have is the best I have ever seen. I feel very safe coming home from work late. When I know they are walking around enforcing all rules and regulations.
What is so hard about fixing paying Tenants issues in there apartments?....This is by far the worst living conditions I have ever lived in and that is coming from someone moving from Baltimore! Staff is pretty nice, have not done anything wrong to me but what is up with the Maintenance?...
Victoria Mccoy from retention was a true blessing after having a hard end of the year. She has helped me tremendously on staying a resident at The Vineyards at Forest Edge. I am greatly appreciative of her help. She is the best!
RUN AS FAST AS YOU CAN!! They’ll lure you with cheap prorated months then raise the price and add on imaginary fees ! It’s roach infested and seemingly vacant. They show you an awesome demo apartment but the ones they rent look like cheap bed bug motel rooms. Management is horrible and racial profiles. I’ve filed complaints but nothing has yet to be done. Drug activity and shootings in everywhere. I would advise anyone especially those with children to please stay away. I’ve obly been here three months and it is a NIGHTMARE. I cry everyday because of it and wouldn’t wish this on Satan himself. RUN !
Ms. Vicky in the office is soooo nice. Ive never had any problems with my apt everything gets fixed on time. Im definitely renewing my lease. Dont listen to all the bad reviews
Very disappointed with this place. I was not expecting much from it, but it is worse than I thought. Just moved in by the beginning of this month, my apartment had some issues that need to be fixed soon, we let them know within the first 48 hrs and to the day, 24 days later we havent got any help. Me and my husband text them, call them, we have even gone to talk to them in person and they dont respond back and if they do they always say we are going to send someone right away and nothing happens. Very bad service, I dont know how we have been very patient and polite when we havent got anything solved to this point, Im tired of it. Dont move in. They promise you that the place is nice and they dont even take care of the facility. If I could give half a star I would. Extremely disappointed!! Specially for the price, they ask too much for what they offer...
Worst place ever, I applied for an apartment over a month before my move in date, paid the fees and got approved, two weeks before my move in date they gave me a different apartment in the worst part of the complex, I simply asked why? They said that the person who was leasing the apartment renewed!!! I said that by the law they can’t cus Once I apply and get approved it should be mine, they said sorry but what we can do is cancel and refund the money and I said sure, and it has been three months now and I haven’t seen anything and just today they said it could be another 2 months the refund is still in the process. While I was going back and forth I saw a family who had the same exact issue but this time they have their stuff in the U-hall outside ready to move in. So good luck if think about living here.It’s July 2019 and I have not seen the money or heard back back from them
I am living here since last two months. This place is home to me 😀. Management is very supportive, apartment and area is very clean and security is tight. I often use the apartments gym, I love playing soccer in indoor area. Finally, I would highly recommend living in these apartments.
I would love to change this to 5 star. Thank you for providing a home for me and my family, I have been living here 8 months I pay approximately $ 1300 a month for my 2 bed room (100) of it is because of late fees which I understand, however I get payed salary once a month on the 12, rent is due on the first non-negotiable. I often get letters of my door threatening eviction. Meanwhile I have a faucet that is leaking in the wall, rotting the sheet, rock creating mold, destroying my home, and the owners investment, and no one will fix it for almost 4 month now. I know I pay late, but I pay complete, with all utilities and late fees, with no attitude but all I get is attitudes and evictions letters $1300 a month.
Im a new resident and I very happy with their customer service. I loved my upgraded apartment, and the new management has been fabulous. Everything has been great and my wonderful leasing agent Almira was so kind and helped me so much, I thank the leasing staff for all the help very nice and friendly.
I currently live here. I try calling the front office and cannot get a response. Stayed on hold for 15 minutes only for them to hang up on me without saying a word to me. The others on here saying the neighbors are ridiculously rude is the truth. I had to call the police on someone blaring their music RIGHT outside my bedroom window. The cops came, told them to turn it off, and as soon as they left they turned it right back on. The upstairs neighbors do absolutely nothing about their children running, stomping, and apparently cannon-balling onto the floor like its a swimming pool! They do this well into the early morning. I have to WORK the next morning with very little sleep! And yes, this place is also roach infested. I keep my house clean but they seem to be coming in through the vents. The only good thing I can say about this place is when you submit a maintenance request online they are out there to fix the problem the next day or at least will call you the next day to tell you when they can get to it (which has always been in less than a week). This is my first time living in an apartment and from this experience I will NEVER rent an apartment again.
The management team is correct. If its a flat rate water bill of $100, cool. I wash clothes like crazy. All in all, you had no major problem. When you got no answer on the phone, how come you didnt go up there? You didnt want anything done. All you wanted to do was complain. I hope that works out for ya
This is my first apartment and my move in experience has been HORRIBLE. My move in date was pushed back 4 times. When my apartment was supposed ready and we did the walk through the floor was peeling, no refrigerator was in the apartment, the tub needed to be resurfaced, and the bedroom window was missing and boarded up, and the door is loose, and there was bugs flying everywhere in the bedroom due to no window being in there. The maintenance man dont do there job which Is probably why the apartment wasnt ready. They smoke on the job bc the toilet had cigar guts in them and there was cigar packaging on the front porch. Ive been asking for a refrigerator for a week now and still dont have one in my unit so how im supposed to stay there, idk. The tub was never resurfaced they just painted over it and my door still hasnt been fixed. PLEASE BELIEVE THE REVIEWS. I wish I would have.
The apartment complex is moderately priced for okay housing. Nothing superb but its all one really needs for comfortable living. The complex is very large and theres only 1 resident office for the whole complex which can sometimes make it difficult to get things done like work orders. However, if you ever have any questions on work orders or about your account here you want to ask for these two GREAT ladies- Carla at the resident office and Lisa the account manager!!! First and foremost theyre genuinely friendly!! And secondly they get stuff DONE!! Thank you ladies for all of yalls wonderful help and for making my living experience here more pleasurable and easy going!!! Management, give these ladies a raise, they make a tenant want to RENEW their lease!!
If I could rate this place a zero, I definitely would. My daughter tried to rent an apartment and the leasing agent, Farras told her he would hold the apartment for her pending the application approval. To hold it the application fee of 60.00 and the administrative fee of 200.00 was required to hold it. She was not approved and he refused to return the 200.00. That fee is used only once the application has been approved and the lease is signed. How can an apartment complex steal that kind of money from people who need it to look for another apartment?How do these people sleep at night? So many bad reviews..so so many. Listen to all these people who have posted on here. Looks are deceiving ( the outside of the complex and model apartment and the people that work there).
Worst experience ever. They wasted my time and money. They took my money, then told me their system is down and I couldnt get the apartment that I was already approved for. They told me this the day before I was supposed to move. Then they told me that since it is their fault, I would get my admin fee back. Now they are telling me that I have to a different company to get refund. This is my worst experience of getting an apartment ever. I feel like this place is full of thieves and liars. Avoid it if at all possible.
I am currently a resident and been living here for almost 5 months now. Since the day one I took some pictures of the things that need to fixe, for instance the stove 2 out of 4 are not working and the dishwasher is not working properly and so on.... Every time, I go to the office, they will be like we will send the maintenance guys to your apartment and then nobody shows up that kept going for almost five months until I just gave up, and waiting for the CONTRACT TO FINISH AND I AM NOT GOING TO RENEW IT WHATSOEVER . Today, I went to the office in order to pay my rent, usually what I do is that to fill up before I drop off but these days they have changed the logo of the complex by “ Brooklyn” instead of “Vineyard”. So, I went to ask just a question of what to put into the money order and the lady in the office looks unhappy and rude. Is this how you welcome your resident or anybody who wants to rent a place? Then, I asked to add a friend in my leasing contract and she was like the fee is $250, I was like I’m not here to do deposit, instead adding a friend in my contract. I have told her that i haven’t even pay that when signing the contract, and all I have paid was $300 that includes application fee, deposit and first month.I WON’t blame them but myself because I didn’t go through the reviews before signing the contract.PLEASE BELIEVE WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT THIS PLACE AND ITS UNHELPFUL PEOPLE.I CANNOT WAIT TO GET THE HELL OUT OF HERE.
Vineyard at Forest is definitely my home. I have lived here with my family for 11 months and it has been wonderful. Never had my work order delayed, always prompt in responding to my complaints. Just few weeks of moving in here my burner stopped working and it was fixed the following day mainly because the maintenance man on ground was busy with another thing in some apartment. Just a few days ago my AC stopped working and the office was closed for the day i didnt call the maintenance line but reported the following morning and it got fixed in less than 30 minutes. Its a pity i have to move out at the expiration of my rent because i need a bigger space for me and my family i honestly wouldnt have moved if they have 3 bedrooms here. All well and good but i have a suggestion on the repainting of the apartments, a better paint should be used especially in the bathroom tub area. Thanks for making my stay here worth the while.
They charge you hundreds of dollars to live here.Which I havent been here long 4 months. They want your money on time which Im on time. But give the good people that do right Project service this is a hot mess and you cant use the amenities you are paying for. I spent my first two weeks here in the heated summer no working A/C and no working refrigerator no accomodation just Excuses. Had to go at them serveral times before the problem was fixed and after four months still waiting on them to fix things wrong in apartment after the two day move in. Sad how folks do cause they would not like to live like this and not be accomodated in anyway for lack or professionalism PERIOD...
Poorly managed they lied about units being newly renovated with wood floors. New appliances thing they would fix be for our move in date which was 2mo away that didnt happen. Moved into fine bed bugs in the bedrooms and they said it was our brand new furnishing that we had delivered the day we moved in. And when we told them that we werent going to renew our lease they tried to tac on random fees and charge for stuff that had nothing to do with our unit.My recommendation would be to avoid living here unless you no other option.
I just came home to discover that I have no water, on a holiday weekend, and the office number just rings without ever picking up.The previous management company at least had a system where you could contact them for emergency services outside of business hours. It would have been nice if the current management company hadnt gotten rid of that.
Applying here has been completely awful.My application has been approved for over a week for an apartment they told me was move in ready. The only what I can get an actual update is by driving up there because I keep getting the same answer over the phone. Save your time.
Occice the of side retention the in M Victoria is the most pleasant person in this side of the office. For every instance Ive had she was delightful to work with.

I just moved into my one bedroom with a sun room and I love it! The staff made my move in easy and fast. I attend Richland College so the sun room is a perfect office space for me to study! I recommended the Vineyards to many friends being the price is great and so close to school!!
Kaylee & Victoria Mccoy in retention & Gio from maintenance are the best employees ever. They get the job done and follow through thoroughly. This office needs more people like them. If you have a issue these are the 3 people to go to. Love love them!! Thanks guys for just being you!!!
I moved in about 2 months ago, and Im very comtent with it. They have great customer service and helped me with all my move in questions ans process. My leasing agent was Lisa, she was very helpful and nice. My apartment was ready by the time that she gave me. And Im very excited about all the amenities that I have to use.
LOVE THIS PLACE. IT IS A GREAT ENVIRONMENT, STAFF IS AWESOME .LOVE THE LADIES IN THE FRONT OFFICE. I RENEWED MY LEASE AND THEY WERE REALLY HELPFUL.
I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The apartments are roach infested, and no need to report it because no one will come out. You start off with a great deal until its time to renew your lease, and then you rent will skyrocket. As soon as my lease is up I am gone!
Went to visit a friend here. Pretty great serene place to live. Although it was a little tricky to navigate since there at 4 apartment complex inside. I wish they numbered their buildings in a well put order. It all seem scattered: there is bldg 13 here, then 24, then 12 all the way over in Egypt. Good place overall. Its okay.
I wish I could leave this property no stars. During my stay here I had countless problems first I was without hot water from August 15 to September 27 I went into the office literally every day in between this time to get my hot water fixed, I continued to get the runaround and the office just kept blaming it on the water company and other things. After that my heat went out and they would not fix it for a week and it was cold outside. I just recently moved out November 30 today is January 10 and I have still not received my security deposit refund I called up there and they don’t answer half the time and the other half I’m never able to speak with a manager, they told me To call the previous management company but they are the ones that are entitled to refund my security deposit since the previous management company signed everything over to them apparently they have been giving all new moveouts the runaround. I have had other problems with these apartments the crime rate is ridiculous, At least once a month the police are in the apartment is blocking my way to get to my apartment one of these times the reason for the police block was because someone had gotten shot in the bldg next to mine, It’s dirty throughout the whole complex and don’t get me started on the people in the office they are rude and they don’t want to help you they don’t want to do their jobs and the managers are NEVER available to speak with.
I moved in 2016 Dec and Ive got a whole lot of bad experience. The maintenance is bad and roaches are everywhere. The staff at the leading office use to listen and hear your complains..though they wont get it fixed but the ones here just cut you shut and dont even wanna listen.. they know nothing about customer service and how customer feels. No empathy. I have lodge over 10 complains in the last 4months and none has been fixed, broken chandelier in the wrong part of the living room, bad waste disposal, roaches infestation, bad shower handle in the bathroom and lot more... instead of getting it fixed all they do is close the work order and resident get a mail that the work order has been completed. They owe no resident an apology... am done with them cos am getting out of here... bad experience for high price...
Me and my girl moved in and was there for 5 days. She got home all of our things were gone. We knew no one broke in because of the fact she unlocked the door upon arrival. Come to find out there was some type of communication between the office and maintenance and our things ended up in the dumpster and most likely in the hands of others. She goes to the office in shock they tell her call the police the cant do anything without a report. We go back to the office the next morning with an incident report because there was no crime. The people in the office tells us they are not sure if they can help us or not. Its been days since weve heard anything. They fired the maintenance guy that they sent inside of the apartment to throw our things away. They are very unprofessional, lack of communication, & poor customer service.
GO AHEAD AND DO YOURSELF A WHOLE FAVOR. Dont move here. Who installs a gate and doesnt tell the residents that they need a code to access the gate overnight?? This apartment. Who hires security guards that harass you to the point of having to file a police report?? This apartment. Who loses water bill payments?? This apartment. Who has an infestation of roaches and raggedy interiors? This apartment. Who changes management and puts your new lease in your door?? This apartment. Who doesnt answer the phone?? This apartment. Im going to break my lease, call the attorney general, and move ASAP. The entire staff needs to wear condoms on their heads. Theyre penis heads.
Apartment is nice, but the fitness center is for the dogs. the machines do not work, and not effort to replace or repair them seems to even been on Management mind. they advertise that they have 11 pools but half of them are always locked and dirty. The mailboxes are in terrible conditions, our mailbox is always open like some one is breaking into the box, and ours is not the only one like that. the whole wall needs to be replaced. They said visitor parking is in front of the fence but thats clear on the other side of the complex. so they are not very clear on or they have done a terrible job at providing parking for guest. the apartment is small and not worth the 968 + 15.00 for ins. + 127 or more for utilities. so in all you are paying over 1000.00 to live in a very small 2b2b apt. they are ripping everyone off.
The new visitors system is absolutely horrible! You can only register ONE car at a time for 24 hrs online so it won’t be towed. People have many visitors not only one every 24 hrs, making it impossible for family members to visit. The other day my friends car was taken away due to not being able to have two cars at a time when visiting, the towing number was nowhere to be found so we had to go all the way to the apartment gates to look for it.... Unbelievable.
