I tried applying for this apartment complex things was going smoothly until they kept asking for more stuff at the last minute making the process so complicated for me instead of doing that they could of told me everything I need to do so things could be more easy for both ends. I checked out the apartment August 18th (Adriana ) was very rude no professionalism at all I believe she thought I was a walk-in Until she realized I was a applicant she became more friendly/nice . During the tour I saw a bug on the inside front door & she didn’t answer none of my questions. She literally turned her back as if she didn’t hear me. Which both was a red flag. Couple days later (Adriana ) called me assuming my income was benefits. Which I really took as a insult. I am a young 22 year old black woman who works very hard for her money. Not only that the Property Manger (Lady) questioned me on Why I’m moving to Texas being that I currently live in another state . I’m being questioned on why I’m moving to state I am From unbelievable. That whole staff needs to go. Do not apply to this complex.

My wife and I have enjoyed lived at the Coronado Apartments for 4 years. It really feels like home. The apartments were remodeled 2 years ago and they completely redid the kitchens with all new, very nice appliances and cabinets. We have the large 2 bedroom and it has plenty of space for us. There is ample parking, and unlike some other apartment complexes, there is always a space to park. Maintenance is great. They always come in a timely manner and if it is a real emergency they come right away. The office personnel are friendly and always treat us with respect. We really love this area and cant imagine living anywhere else in the Dallas. The Coronado apartments are one of the most affordable in the area. White Rock Lake is less than half a mile away. I would definitely recommend that if you are looking for a place to live in the Lakewood area that you check out the Coronado apartments.

BEWARE and stay away. Worst apartments ever. Bugs, no customer services and maintenance that doesnt do their jobs or know how to fix anything. Please read all the reviews and save your time and money. If you rent from here it WILL BE A NIGHTMARE

Have been in this place for two years, and the office has lack of communication. Had one of the office supervisor (Adriana) come to my door asking for money during the pandemic, she was not given full details of my situation with her boss (Alex). Things are tight and its hard trying to have a roof over your head and to live your life to the fullest. Coronado makes up so many new rules and increase there rent without telling the people of their doings. I have already token the intative of filling out a rental assistant application for the City of Dallas and that takes time. And there is nothing I need to say to them, because this place will soon be under new management like other apartments on this block.

Maintenance does not fix issues correctly or just doesn’t fix it at all and signs saying he did! Very loud, fights broke out, people breaking into cars, my neighbors got robbed in the middle of day, Staff doesn’t not put down rent was received on time ! I found that out once I applied at another apartment Please do not move here ! Save yourself a headache.

If you’re planning to move here think again and see the reviews. They’re here for a reason. I lived here two years and all those years the restroom had problems, both restrooms in the unit!!!! One time going 3 days without fixing it. Yes it’s true, a lot of drug trafficking and in and out cars through the parking lot. I once saw a car get broken into, literally in front of my face. NOT ENOUGH parking spots, UNITED TOWS will tow anyone and mistreat their cars. Saw it with my own eyes. Loud cars with loud music, there’s no quiet hours here. Yes the units are fully upgraded but that’s about it, everything else shows how old the buildings really are. Unless you’re getting a discount like most people in here, stay awAy and pay that price in better, safer, and newer apartments complex. I paid full price while others get discounted rates due to income restrictions. Don’t even think about contacting the office, two ladies in the front don’t do none but be on the gram.I was glad when my lease was over. Read the reviews cause I wished I did.

I’ve lived here for 2 years and I absolutely love them, the girls in the office are super sweet and helpful, the maintenance guys always are cleaning up the apartments & everytime something breaks they come right away. It’s always quite and the neighborhood is beautiful. Only bad thing is some people hit my car 3 times bevause they obviously don’t know how to hold the door so it won’t hit the car next to them but other than that I love it here♥️♥️ Definitely recommend

They have a great manager and staff. And maintenance is so helpful when you need it.! Would recommend living here! 10/10 Apartments are so cute and modern looking!! Its always clean and never noisy love it here! People are so nice and generous here :)

Not enough VISITOR parking. And expect us to pay $200-$500 to get my car out the pound cause you won’t expand the lot. They are STILL nights I had to sit in my car and wait for someone one to pull out of their spot, which took hours. During for not giving or even selling us parking stickers . This is ridiculous. I should be able to park ALL MY CARS in the lot.

Service is the worse.. they will keep you waiting for months for simple fixes and make excuses for not coming out. Excuse after excuse.. if it’s not a emergency don’t bother asking to repair something. WHAT KIND OF POOR SERVICE IS THAT!

I’ve just moved here and so far everything is great. Alex and the girls are very informative throughout the application and moving process and maintenance is also time savvy when dealing with request. Property is kept clean and it’s also quite at night. 😊

We like the location. Close to Downtown Dallas and close to Mesquite. Your close to the lake and a lot of places to eat. The trail is not to far to access They dont have access from the complex but its not to far to get on the trail. The ladies in the office are nice and helpful. The maintenance guy is nice and friendly. Its so easy to pay your rent online and request service maintenance. This place is quite no loud music in parking lot or people drinking in parking lot. Out balcony has a real nice view over 2 big trees. The dart bus stops in front of apartments on both sides of E Grand Ave. The Gates are always working or maintenance will fix it right away. 24 hour Gym make it nice. There is allot of visitor parking but it does fill up at night.

Ive been a resident at Coronado since 2011 and about renew my contract again. I like the property, how clean it is and how well kept it is. Its quiet and everyone is friendly. The ladies in the office have always helped me out in anything I need and the maintenance men are super nice too. Requests are done in a timely matter. Its close to my kids schools and my job location. I love it here, thank you Coronado apartments.

Very nice apartments, I lived here a little over a year and all I have is POSITIVE things about this place and the office staff, they treat you like family. . I do so recommend this place, prices are pretty decent and the area is nice, the units itself and very nice and very spacious. Sad I had to leave.. ♥♥

I have been a tenant for several years due to the great location, customer-friendly staff and attentive maintenance. I never comment on anything! But the kindness of the maintenance team particularly Leandro, moves me to leave a review. Along with their timely attention to maintenance issues, even the emergency late night weekend ones over the years which is their responsibility, they must be commended on how often they have a willingness to take on issues that it could be argued, do not necessarily fall into their job description. I recently had to make 2 such requests within 24 hours. I am thankful for the service they provide at this apartment community.

I honestly loved this place honest review been here coming up 5 years I’m only leaving because someone in the building smokes weed and it comes through my vents and floods my apartment with it. I haven’t had any issues before this. Management is beyond great, maintenance is timely and efficient plenty of parking and they spray often for bugs I don’t have bugs because of this. I hate to leave but I don’t do drugs and don’t want it in my place.

I just moved out after a year long lease. They were prompt in responding to service orders in the apartment. The front office always had a friendly face in it. The mailing system is pretty smooth (Ive never lost a package). They keep the property tidy. Ive seen the front and back gate malfunction, and it be fixed within a day. The pool is cozy, but the hot tub doesnt work. Workout facility is minimal but accessible. Its right across from white rock lake, so the location doesnt really get any better. The residents are also friendly and a pretty diverse group of people.The only serious con was the parking set up-- which Ive found to be a pretty popular problem with DFW apartments because of zoning policies. I enjoyed my time with Coronado. Very professional. ✊Im moving on behalf of me and my fiancee moving forward💍👫👍

I wish 611 would leave. they have loud church services where they wail and scream and cry. They play bass guitar past 10pm. they own a pick up truck that is so loud it rattles all the walls. i wish unpleasant things upon them, In the karmic sense. Management is very quick to address concerns, with 611. As of late July, they moved and run their own successful congregation in Mesquite TX. I have never witnessed any drug related happenings, though the complex is in rapid decline. The current state of remodeling has become a steady annoyance for those remaining residents.

I advice people going to this apartment Complex to bare one thing in mind. No matter how promptly you pay your rent they dont like when u moving out. They will try everything to nail you with any little thing they find wrong in your apartment. No matter how clean it is they will always find something wrong. I live in this apartment complex for almost three years always pay my rent in time, but when it was time for me to move out they look for any little thing wrong with my apartment and they finally ate up the deposit and even charge me extra. i left the apartment even much more better than the way we meet it but i was still given all kinds of charges. People there is a very pretentious manager at the apartment. He will pretend like he is smiling with you but he is very cunning like a wizard getting ready to suck your blood.There is one lady in the apartment complex called Alex she is a hispanic, she is cunning too as hell,smiling at your face while stabbing you from the back.People be careful before moving in.

Im not sure why anyone would ever consider renting or visiting this place. Dont ever bring your friends over; they will tow their car from their unmarked parking spaces that dont have any signage indicating towing or visitor parking. This corporate apartment complex obviously has some type of deal worked out with the towing company, because they practically stole my car last night. The only signs nearby 200 feet were signs that stated HEAD IN PARKING ONLY, which, of course, is not relevant to towing, but rather to how you park your car within the spots.Why would you want to live at a place that is so adamant about towing cars day in and day out? Apartment complexes like these, that are ridiculous and unfair with their towing policies, are likely also going to be linked to other unfair policies and poor maintenance. Dont waste your time visiting this place and dont even consider living here unless you want your friends hitching rides up to South Dallas and standing next to barbed wire fences, waiting to pay their $160 fee for their that they paid for that was taken from them right under their nose.

After 10 years of Not Seeing my Son I suprised him at his Apartment, I Had a Great time Until it was time to leave 2 black guys were offering my Grandson Drugs when i Came Outside. I Called the office and the Young lady that answered the phone Apologized to me and Said they have had reports before that she will let the manager know of this Inccident. Aparently this property has allowed drug selling for a Long time. I will never visit my Son if it is in this Property they have a 2 month old baby girl and i Fear for her life if any shootings or bad drug deals go wrong.Please If you have Children and Care for your Family, Do not move here!

Yes I recently moved here and the Drugs have been a Problem. When I’m Sitting Outside I have got asked about where apartment #635 is. There is a lot of Traffiking, not stop knocking all day and night. I seen a recent post Catherine I agree with you and I would’ve loved for someone to have said something about this before. Will have to break the lease I cannot be in this situation. My Kids walk to school and we have to pay someone to watch them As they walk because of the Random cars coming In and Out. They are not allowed Outside eighter this is not a Family place to be. To what I talked to others here they say these people have been here for more than a Year and the Manager will not do anything about it. I have Called this so called (Curtesy Police officer) that Comes and she is a Normal security lady. When I moved here I called her 3 nights in a Row and all she said was that this has aldready been reported Gave me a Scared look and Just turned around and Left. I just divided not to call her Again Seemed like she was Scared of them. Will be moving out soon. I have never Gave a Review no matter how Bad a place is but I Did find it very interesting and Racist that this Person Spanky McGillicuty is Reporting a Hispanic family I know this because of the Apartment number he gave. Which he is not even in the same building. The price is right...for what you get. They are economical.Pros: Staff is awesome! They are friendly and complete your requests quickly! I enter in my maintenance request via their website the night before and the next day its done before I come home. Almost all the residents are families that work 9 to 5 jobs so Ive rarely had an issue where there was noise after 10pm. Its pretty quiet around here at night, even on the weekends! Ive never seen rats; as for cockroaches hardly ever (maybe 4 in the last 9 months, which is pretty darn great for low class apts). They keep up on the outside maintenance, every morning I see their employees picking up trash from the parking lot and around the apartments. These apartments are in walking distance to White Rock Lake where you can run on the trail, walk to a couple of liquor stores, and a good authentic Mexican restaurant across the street (theres also subway and a pizza place).Cons: Yes, the residents are families but theyre mostly hispanic families as in more than one family in a 2bedroom apt! This makes parking a nightmare! If you arent home by 5 forget about finding a parking space near where you live. The parking lot has had potholes for about 8 months that havent been filled in---really? a quick trip to home depot for a cheap bag of cement could easily fix that. The space between the parking spaces near the apts and the guest parking is so narrow that you can barely get out of your parking spot without hitting the car parked behind you in the guest parking. The walls are paper thin! I swear I live below elephants and next to an unhappy couple that yells at each other. I can even make out their full sentences without stepping near the wall. These apts are old so they are falling apart, there are loose boards and dips under the carpet which squeaks when you walk on those spots. I would not be surprised if one day I fell through the floor and into the apt below me. The workout gym is a joke, it consists of 3 machines that dont work and are so old and rusted Im afraid a cord will snap while I am using it and rip off a limb. The pool is at best a cesspool. The apts dont enforce their policy of requiring swimwear so people go in to the pool in their regular clothes: jeans, shirts, dirty underwear, etc. This causes them to routinely lock down the pool for cleaning, yes as in locks on the gate doors to the pool. The water is always dirty which matches the people that use it. I drive to another apartments pool across town or go to a friends pool. Rent is late after the 2nd--who does that? Everyone knows that after the third its late. This policy dictates the class of people that the company is accustomed to. My mailbox key seems to be a copy of a copy of a copy....I literally have to wrestle it out of the keyhole or into it as if I had the wrong key. People here dont really seem to care about their kids so the kids are usually running amuck, screaming and running up and down the stairs, riding their bicycles in the parking lot in front of moving vehicles, and leaving trash outside everywhere.Conclusion: If youre on a super tight budget and need something until your income level increases that wont put your life at risk, then this is your place. They are low class for low income people but its quiet and safe--havent heard of any robberies or threats on peoples lives. I am counting down the days until I graduate from my university and can get a better paying job so I can live better. Til then the nuances here are bearable.

We only lived for a year, we had great experiences in this place, we lived in apartment 621. In a safe, quiet place, sometimes partying some nights, the parking is good compared to other places that take advantage of the crane a lot, here we did not have any problem.The location is very good. The affordable price. There are no animals, only ants in seasons and common problems that were immediately solved with a call to the office. The girls in the offices are very kind and personable. We were always treated with respect and kindness and the maintenance gentlemen are also great.Attentive and excellent staff.I recommend living here
