These people are unprofessional!!! I have visited nail star a couple times. I always ask for Crystal this time I guess she was in a bad mood, then she charged me $160. I asked for Gold nails she gave me Chrome, any nail tech would ask if you wanted chrome cause it is more. When I saw the nails I was thinking it was a gold polish cause I never got chrome before. She knew what she was doing cause she never said anything, not even if I liked the nails.The color she gave me Is not even GOLD! Very bad service the place wasn’t even packed so I know there loosing customers.

This is my first time here. When I walked in I told her that I wanted a pedicure and full set she told me 30 minute wait. I went to go sit in my car because it’s COVID still and I didn’t want to be that close even with a mask. I came in no one has taken me back and 2 people walked in and they were able to be seated at the pedicure chairs. I have been waiting. At this point, I do not know if I even want to be serviced here.

First I want to say this is NOT my first time visiting Nail star. I asked for Crystal because she normally does a great job, I paid $160 to get a full set and a pedicure. First she want to put pointy nails after I told her tapered square. Then she asked the color I said GOLD. When they started the police or what it was was messing up so she took the polish and reapplied it. When she was finished I see she gave me chrome nails. First off Chrome is not GOLD and it cost more, I have never paid that amount ever for nails. Then her and the other worker kept laughing and talking did not even ask me what I thought about the service. Nail-star Is going down when I walked in they wasn’t packed and that’s not normal. I have them 2 stars cause everyone is saying they love my nails, but I know she messed them up

First time here. Located off of Salem Rd in Conyers, GA. Behind a KFC and across the street from a QT. Nice staff. No hours posted but I asked and they told me 10am to 7pm. Efficient and fast. I was in and out in an hour having both my nails and feet done. Sorry I couldnt get the price list. A basic pedicure is $25 and goes up from there. Gel is $2 extra. They have an array of colors, styles and polishes to choose from. They also do lashes and brows. Very nice. Check out my video and pics for more info.

I just got my nails and feet done here and the service was awful a guy who was inexperienced did my nails and they charged me $120.00 and the service is horrible. My nail is green underneath, my nails are lifting, and polish on toes Is coming off!!! To be honest I want my money back .

Always super friendly! I’ve been going here about 3 years and I’m never disappointed. I’ve tried several other nail salons in the area but never again! Tina and Crystal are the absolute best when it comes to trendy nail styles and designs. I love coming here to be pampered, it does cost a little more than other salons in the area but the VALUE supersedes the prices!!! Well worth the extra $$

I have been coming to this shop for a while but will never go back. Emily used to do my nails but unfortunately recently left. The atmosphere was never great but Emily did a great job so I dealt with it. The lady at the front and Christy are so rude and unprofessional. I have recommended the shop to others but they told me they would not go back because they are too rude. As I was leaving another lady was also saying how rude they are. I’m not spending my money where someone is disrespectful and rude for no reason. Too many other better shops around.

The young lady barely touched my feet, i am so mad right now and I usta love this place, i love the Mother of the owner, been coming since they left Covington but havent been here in years...I wont be coming back....young lady so called scrubbing my feet and looking everywhere else but at my feet. Very bad service from this young lady, and when i say she barely touched my feet, she barely touched them, so furious with them. Definitely not my money worth. has a cousin that comes from Decatur that i put on to this place, shes on her way.....but the right person will do her nails good, shell make sure of that....i just dont say nothing....just not coming back 👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎👎now im leaving

I want to nail star on a Saturday evening about 4 to have my lashes done and by 9 a.m. Sunday the next day they were falling off. Tried to call them and inform them that my lashes did not last long after paying $40 and a tip. I ended up going up there to let them know about it and just show them my life is falling off she asked me to wait about 5 minutes but, OMG I sat there like a dummy for 2 hours and I just walked out so I had to take them off and I promise I will never go back. This may not be the end though because I will eventually tell them what I thought about that business wasnt so great.

I came in and no one greeted me. When someone finally came to the front after about ten minutes I was directed to a nail technician who said she had two clients ahead of me. She never made eye contact or spoke to me directly. I watched her complete someone’s nails and wax someone’s eyebrows, mustache and chin hair. After she finished, she grabbed her cellphone and went to the back of the nail salon (break room?). After a few minutes, I asked another technician if she was coming back to do my nails. She then yelled from the back that she told me to wait and she had two other clients (both of whom she had finished). I immediately left because it was apparent she did not want to do my nails and had a poor attitude and customer service. I urge everyone to reconsider before coming here and spend their money where they will be treated with RESPECT.UPDATE: The name of the nail technician with the horrible attitude is Teena. Im in my car in literal tears right now. This is the second salon Ive been to in two days and Im usually use to them doing good work but today was awful. I was in the salon for 4 hours for a soak off and full set one of those hours I was waiting because they only had three nail techs and I was understanding. The shape in in consistent, bumpy and just an all around mess and this is after me asking them to fix it. He didnt fix it he only piled more acrylic on top so now its super thick. I have polish and acrylic all over my hands . Im beyond unhappy and frustrated. I went to cosmetology school this is a mess. Its not giving me the option to post pictures but I have several . Im literally crying looking at them. It seems like there is only one nail tech in there that is actually trained and doing proper work.

I haven’t had an issue here. All the employees who have helped me did a great job. Will continue to use their services

Bad experience, a “EXCELLENT” nail salon would ask do you like a particular color that you pick but the nail technician Jenny didn’t, she continued to paint, not only did she not ask, I still had nail polish around my nail that she didn’t clean up the FIRST time.. and then I got charged $10 for a color change/clean up on top of the $25 I paid, if that’s the case they should’ve gave me the gel polish instead of regular polish. Not only was the job messy but Jenny caught an attitude because I wanted my nails done CORRECTLY, even after the fact I wanted a clean up. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NAIL SALON!!!!!! TERRIBLE TERRIBLE TERRIBLE JOB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first and LAST Time ever going to this shop.... poor service and service is not worth the price. The nail tech cut my pinky with the nail file and tried to cover up the blood like I didn’t see nor feel the cut. Nails are not the same shape and I have cuts on 6 of my fingers. NEVER AGAIN.... The only thing good was the pedicure....

This place is great if you want acrylics they last super long about 2-3 months then your natural nail starts to grow out nails look great and for a medium length with diamond studs was only $75!!! That was amazing I highly recommend. all staff are nice and welcoming and know exactly what you want and how you want it☺️ I will definitely recommend spending your money here sis‼️💕

They do really nice nails, now that I know what to ask for, that is right for me. Also got my eyebrows tattooed by Ann or Annsbrowology, she did an amazing job and gave me the eyebrows, I have always wanted. Now I can toss those damn eyebrow pencils as my brows are perfect now.

They did a good job with my nails but there was some confusion about pricing. I will return because there are limited options in the area.

Went in to get my nails done today. I’m a faithful customer of nailstar for about three years now. I’ve never really been completely satisfied with my feet once there done but I get them done anyway because I’m addicted to Vivian doing my nails. She’s awesome. Long story short I got my feet done and I wasn’t satisfied with the polish so as a paying customer I have the right to say something but that’s one thing they don’t like is complaining. So she polished them over and the second time it was good and they continue with my service. Once I was done and paid for my service the owner comes outside behind me and tell me to find someone else to do my nails and feet and that I wasn’t welcomed in her shop anymore. Poor customer service and I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there. I wish Vivian would just branch off on her own. I’ll miss her but I guess the next couple weeks I’m looking for a new nail tech 😂😂😂

If Vivian was still here, I would give them a 5. Does anyone know what happened and why she is no longer there? Now I have to find another nailshop because she is gone. She was the absolute best. Does anyone know what happened to Tony? It seems like the good ones always leave this salon. Tina runs them all away.

Welcoming atmosphere and speedy service. The thing that I was disappointed in is that the nail shape is different on each hand,there is glue all over my nails,and I need more coats of polish. When I asked for more coats she said no it was fine.

I have been a customer for about 2 years and I have always been patient with them. I have had instances where I have waited over an hour and a half to be serviced and I did not say a word. Today has however left a bad reception for me. I Was told 1 price by the technician for my nails when time came to pay I was then charged an additional $35 to what I usually paid. I was absolutely floored, but still I gave her my card. When she came back I ask whats with the price difference she then tried to explain the math to me that she realized did not add up she then said oh sorry.... as a regular customer I am very concerned as to how a mistake as that could have been overlooked. If I had not asked about this price difference I would never have known that I was completely overcharged.Edit: When I asked the price I was told $45.I have never been charged $15 for a design on my finger, nor was I refunded for the overcharge. I simply left knowing I was overcharged. I did not receive a refund for anything.I’m not sure how you were able came up with a cash refund that was never given to me. Please feel free to check your cameras

I just moved to the area and I noticed a lot of nail salons. I went to a different one because it opened at 9, but I was there til 9:50 with no service so I went to this one and received service immediately. The customer service was great. I really enjoyed my pedicure with Tony. He does a great massage. I also really like the way my eyebrows look. Thank you both. I will be back!

DO NOY GET YOUR LASHES DONE HERE. THE LADY IS USING HAIR GLUE AND DRAWING IT ON TOP OF YOUR LASHES. Why would you charge $35 dollars to use hair glue. I asked for the manager and she stated thats all she has ever used and will use. She laughed at me and didnt care about my concerns. I asked for my money back and she began to pull the lashes from my eyes. I lost it. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. What happened to customer service and pleasing your customers. I am so over this place and will never come back again. I am very disappointed and this should have never happened. Do NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AT THE NAIL STAR.The manager has responded with exactly what I thought. She really is more concerned with me attempting to get something free. I had already paid for my services, and I asked for my money back after you tried to detach my lashes off of my face. I didnt want that plastic mess on my eyelids or those big flapping lashes speaking to everyone before I even get close. You are rude and money hungry. I said I was going to call the police not you. I wasnt going to allow you to just pull them when I know all you need is a hot towel and some oil and hair glue will become loose. The nasty lashes are in the trash. This hair glue may work for some but not for me and the least you could do is make people aware of what you are using. I did report this to the state board. You nail salons and techs get away with way too much and then you are rude about it. POOR POOR SERVICE. I AM BRINGING YOU YOUR LASHES TODAY THAT YOU JUST KNOW I WANTED TO HAVE FOR FREE. I am still rubbing little black balls of hair glue off of my lashes. DO BETTER!!!

PLEASE read this in entirety, especially if you are new to the area and looking for a nail salon because this one is NOT it. My last experience here was the final straw. Service had been noticeably declining in my opinion, and customer service is horrible. I like to get my nails soaked off not ripped off with nail tips because that destroys your nail bed; not that I should have to explain that if that’s what I want. There were multiple instances where I asked for my nails to be taken off ( because I know I had them for over 4-6 weeks) and the nail tech would ask me WHY do I want a full set when I can just get a fill in “because it’s cheaper.” I personally don’t care about “cheaper” when you sacrifice QUALITY and health of my nail/nail bed, but I digress. Those experiences aren’t even the reason I’m writing this review, I don’t even write google reviews, but I MUST speak on my LAST experience at this nail salon. The last time I came here I asked for my nails to be soaked off and I asked for a polish change on my toes. The lady directed me to a pedicure chair for my toes to be done. It was 5PM on a Sunday they close at 6, why they would do my GEL polish on my toes before allowing me to soak off is beyond me, but hey I tend to let the “professionals” do their thing. After the man painted my toes he told me it was $25, a lie. (I ALWAYS get gel on my toes there and it’s $20.) By now they are trying to rush me out the door, I ask what about my nails? 🙁 i again tell them I want to SOAK OFF MY NAILS AND GET A FULL SET WITH GEL POWDER, like I always do (so I’m fully aware of the prices). They directed me to a lady who I assume does NOT know what she is doing after this experience. THIS LADY CUT THE TIPS OFF MY NAILS AND PROCEEDED TO TRY TO PUT A NEW TIP ON MY NAIL WITH THE OLD GEL STILL ON MY NAIL BED. I told her she has to take the whole nail off (I mean why did I have to tell her that?) Needless to say I did NOT get the nails soaked off and you guessed it, she took the nails off using a nail tip and peeling them off (painful andCompletely damaging to the nail bed 🙃). She then proceeded to try to put acrylic on my nails after I had been charged for the gel powder and argued that it would be $5 more if I wanted powder... no ma’am. And if all of this sounds crazy the worst and most devastating part of this entire experience and the ONLY reason I’m writing this review sharing my experience is because after she finally finished applying the gel powder, she cut her finger somewhere in between that process. I know this because she proceeded to put oil in my hand and tried to rub it in WITH BLOOD LITERALLY DRIPPING FROM HER FINGER. I was completely horrified and of course did not allow her to touch my hand.. so with that being said you all spend your money here at your own risk. I have found a new salon in Lithonia, GA called Couture Nails & Spa. Customer service was impeccable and they cared enough to introduce you to your nail tech by name and made sure I was completely satisfied from the moment I walked in the door to the moment that I left. They even have a rewards program AND allowed me to set up my next appointment before leaving. My nails are beautiful and it’s less expensive than this place. You have been warned.

I would give more stars because my pedicure was great. However I received my pedicure. Then had to wait for nearly 45 mins for someone to come and do my nails. Unacceptable. I watched so many come in after to me to get served while I waited. I decided to not get mad. I just waited patiently and typed this review. The people attending to the guest need to keep up with who all needs to serviced. Its very unprofessional

I love giving five stars when they are DUE !! I have finally found my new nail home. I love this salon. I just moved to the area from atlanta so I was relieved to have found a place that does great nails, pedicures, AND eyebrows !! ALSO most importantly, the professionalism. They remodeled it looks brand new. Nathan did my nails they are just the way I wanted them. Ill definitely be back.

Nails were fine. However, make sure they dont put gel on your nails without asking while charging you more. Tech told me $35 for fill in and polish change on toes. Once done, price went to $48. Unacceptable. I will not return.

I have acrylics and she didn’t paint them that well and I left with my nails still wet. Also, a day later my nail broke. Definitely wouldn’t recommend if you want acrylics.

I recently stop going to my regular salon after 6 yrs & now I have found my new nail salon. Vicky was the absolute best... Customer service is very important to me as the whole staff was great!! Perfect experience on the 1st visit. I no longer have to travel to the other side of town. 2 mins from my house, cant believe i have been passing this place for so long.

Its like a factory here. Was totally ignored. People walked in after me and were seated right away. It would not have been a problem if someone would have acknowledged that I was even there but nope. 2 workers just lounging in the pedicure chairs. Other workers rushing around in a hurry to get no where. I finally asked the little girl at the counter when I would get my nails started and she asked others and they told her to seat me at a table. Sat at the table for 30 minutes without anyone coming to do my nails. I got up and walked out. This place is a definite pass.

I called kind of late, Im new to Georgia from California so Im really in need of a nail shop. So I called in and they said they closed at 7:30p and they will take a walk in up until then, ok so I get there at 7:08p now they did say Hello and the salon looked very nice I was very impressed with the nail color selection and I wanted S&S nails and it looked like they had lots of colors, so now Im very excited thinking yes Ive finally found a good nail salon, well here it is 8pm and no one has even attempted to do my nails and I sat back and watched almost every person look at me and say nothing to me. Now Ive worked in the cosmetology industry for years from the salon, to teaching and state board, and there is NO WAY that this was acceptable. By 8:15 or 8:20p I walked out and still no one said a thing they actually looked as if they wanted me to walk out so that they would not have to do the service. After having a long day dealing with other salons I really just wanted a little me time and my experience was horrible. However I will try them again only because I actually would like to see the art work from the nail techs hopefully my next visit will be better than the first.

They were extremely rude. One of the ladies cut one of my toes during my pedicure. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

I am new to Georgia and it was hard to find the right brow tech. This place is so welcoming and thoroughly sanitized. I suggest Linda for the best eyebrow job!

They reuse some of their products. Not very friendly. One employee used restroom and only used water to wash her hands. They were quick though. I was in and out.

Im a lot confused on how this place has such a high score. I went there a couple of days ago and I got a regular pedicure that literally took less than 10 minutes. I saw everyone coming in asking for Linda for pedicure because she did a great job on her customer that was sitting next to me. I complained to the manager and she didnt do anything. I will never return for any type of services. I was supposed to get me nails done but after I saw how I was being treated I changed my mind!! They have no customer service skills and I wont be spending my hard earn money no where its not appreciated.

Ive been going here on and off, mostly off, for 10 years because its near home. Tonight was my last straw. (The Boss) Blatantly lied when I asked to have Linda do my nails and pedicure when I came in. She said yes she will after I asked again. She spoke in her language sent me in her direction and a guy intercepted me and said sit her. He was preparing the Pedi bath. I sat and asked him again, Linda is doing me right. He said yes and finished the bath and told me to put my feet in. He comes right back with what he needs to do my feet. I let it go. I figure dont get angry. I took my husband and I there during the summer and he was rude whenever I tried to tell him what I wanted. Now along comes Kim to fo my nails insisting she knows what I wanted and not l listening. I ended up with no manicure because they could not repair a nail with anything other than acrylic. Very damaging to my nails so no. I called (The Boss) over and asked what other options they had. She said just add a tip, no cover. I said, If you cant fix the one nail a manicure is useless to me with my other 9 long natural nails. Now the pedicure is going on so I cant leave and its its to ok late to go elsewhere after. The guy tells me after she walks away, she the boss. In other words, I get who she decides to work on me. Its a wrap Boss. Your Blantant lie to keep me there, take my money and give me who you want to work on me is your last with me. Im the customer, not your child and you are Not the boss of me. Because I am a professional, I let him finish my pedicure knowing, I will not be back. No more chances. I will find a professional shop where they wont lie, while speaking in a language other than english, which is very rude, while serving customers.

The owner acts as though she’s doing her customers a favor & her customer service skills sucks. You’re charged an arm & a leg for their services & when its not to your liking, she gets an attitude. Also, I had individual eyelashes done by one of her associates & it was poorly done. Within 2 hrs, they fell right off. Since they were closed when it happened, I went back the following day letting her know what happened, & the owner was very nonchalant. I assumed that she will fix the issue as I sat & waited for over 30 mins..... that never happened, she kept taking other clients. I requested a refund which I never got back from her but I know how to deal with business owner like her.

Good nail shop with friendly people and fair prices. Sometimes it gets a little crowded though and there arent enough employees to fill all the stations which leads to a longer than necessary wait and a rush job.

Got my nails done Thursday paint last hours once I returned for repolish they argued me I needed to pay or get gel!! Didn’t care that I just literally had Paid and got my nails done.

This was my first time visiting Nail Star. I got SNS on my real nails on Sept. 30th by the person that uses booth #9. I hate my nails! A few on my nails were cracked before I came to the shop. A full set SNS costs $30 on real nails. I needed six tips to make all my nails an even length. The price be $45 for six tips. So I decided to cut my nails. She clipped my nail tissue with nail clippers. Ouch! As she begins to dip my nails I noticed that she dipped my uneven shaped nails as if that’s cool. I asked if she would fix the shape, her response was later. Okay, I’m thinking what kinda magic trick she bout to pull. As she begins to file my nails, the uneven nails got extra filing but they never began to look even like the rest of my nails. I had to ask her to stop because she filed so much and hard til the file started to rub against my skin. Displeased and pissed at this point I asked her if another nail tech could my nails because I did not like her work. She bagan to speak in her language to her coworkers and another female nail tech began to trying to talk to me. I showed her my nails and told her I’m not leaving until I get my nails fixed. My nail tech fixed her mistakes but now has an attitude because she had to do them over. That was my first and last experience at Nail Star. I’ll continue going to my regular nail place in McDonough...Amazing Nails!

1. Tina, the owner, is rude. During a customer complaint/issue she did not even come out the back she yelled thee resolution out from behind.2. I asked for multiple coats and was told no, because it would be too thick.3. Make you pay prior to end of service4. I told her I would not come back due to her poor customer service and she said ok

It seems to me the owner here tries to blame the customer for there mess ups. Take responsibility for your actions. Horrible. Will never go here.

Bad service, bad attitude, are unfriendly and paint the nail very bad the cute is old and the nail are left with bulbs

The staff was rude they let me leave unhappy with unfinished nails they have poor customer service will not return... they dont wash their hands they reuse their supplies total disaster

Customer service was absolutely superb as well as the work on both my finger nails and toes. I no longer have to search for the perfect nail salon.
