Republic Waste Service is the worst I have ever had to deal with. My experience with them is a night mare. Started out they didn’t pick up our garbage. So called them to ask them why, They said our bill wasn’t fully paid. I was on automatic pay. Why are he aren’t you taking the right amount. Any how we paid more. Next pick up day the same thing happened. DIDNOT pick up garbage. Called again ask why wasn’t our garbage picked up? Again they said you only paid parcel payment. WHY??? Told them again to take full payment. Again this pick up! Still not picking. I feel I am treated BAD!! I asked to change company. Was folded there is no other company. What should I do? HELP????!!!!!

Dishonest, unreliable, and greedy are all adjectives that describe this company. Avoid at all cost. Not only do they not pick up your trash on the scheduled day. You have to call them to reschedule and they still dont come 50% of the rescheduled times. Never have I paid for a service and had to hassle the company to provide the service I paid for. Avoid the headache and money grab go with another company. Heritage is a more reliable and affordable option.
I agree with some of the other comments, this is the worst garbage pickup service I have ever experienced. Our neighborhoods garbage pickup days are Monday and Thursday; it is late Friday afternoon and still on service.

Wednesday & Saturday are my pickup days; my trash has not been picked up on Wednesday for 3 weeks in a row. Yesterday, June 20, 2019, I decided to call customer service and report the inconsistencies with the pickup in my neighborhood. Bad Idea, because everyone in my neighborhood trash was picked up except mine. I guess since I called in and reported it, I have become a target. My account is in good standing. So why am I not recieving the services I am paying for?
Terrible customer service. Trash service is inconsistent and if you call and report it, they will still only pick up ONE can after not coming for a week. Very greedy in my opinion. We will be switching services.
If I could give a negative number I would to steal money from people and families is unspeakable!!! Dont use them they won’t pick up your trash and then won’t give you back your money!! Thieves!!!

My company has been with them for a little over a year and I lost my house, office and shop in the flood.... Long story short the dumpster floated away and I spoke the main lady in the Conroe billing and she told me a guy will com pick up and bring me a new dumpster on Monday. They showed up on a Saturday witch we werent open on Saturdays and Sundays. So I called them Tuesday and said hey nobody showed up Monday I am still waiting on my dumpster. She apologize to me. Anyways they shows up the very next day with no dumpster. just wanting to pick up the on one witch you cant get to it because my next door neibor built his pond up like 12 Ft in its just sitting on the edge you would need to get a wench to get the dumpster out. But nobody even tried. So last month in October I got a invoice a little bit over 300.00 and I called the same lady back. she told me to go ahead and pay the 300.00 and she will calling ling so I could get a credit back on the 300.00 and something dollars because Its not my fault that they cant get it out. So I went ahead and paid that money . Well its November and I just received another invoice and they went up on there bill another 30.00 AND NEVER CREDITED ME BACK MY MONEY! THEY STILL CHARGED ME GAS ON DAYS THAT MY COMPANY WASTNT OPEN AND THEY WERENT SUPPOSE TO SHOW UP ON AND STILL CHARGED ME! DO NOT USE THEM THEY WILL DO IT REALLY CHEAP THE 1ST YEAR AND THEN EACH MONTH THE PRICE WILL GO UP MORE AND MORE AND MORE!!!!!!!! REVIEW THE PICTURES THEY DIDNT EVEN TRY GETTING THERE DUMPSTER OUT
Wish I could leave zero stars. Nothing but issues from the start. In the end I got a bill for $130, was told my bill would be $18 when I canceled. Would love to know where the other $112 came from.
USELESS AND CLUELESS customer service representatives that cant give a definitive answer. I have been a customer for not even 2 weeks and I already want to cancel my service. The drivers are lazy and no matter how inexpensive the service may cost, its too much for the lackluster performance I have witnessed. Customer satisfaction is not paramount to you and it shows. Either retrain your staff or sell the company because you dont even deserve anyones patronage or money for the subpar job that your company does.
WARNING do not use this company if you have any other choice for trash services. I had them for less than a month before cancelling. My first 2 weeks they didnt pick up my trash so I had to call to reschedule. They also have a fee on your bill called total fuel/environmental recovery fee that apparently they use to scam you for how ever much money they want. On my first bill for 1 month of service it was $10 but when I got my bill the other day for the delivery of my 95 gal trash can it was a $20 fee! How is it double for a 1 time delivery which wasnt even delivered on time.
The longer you stay a customer the higher your bill gets. Not everyone is paying the same. They start everyone low and gradually increase your bill to see how much money they can get out of you. Evil approach
This is the most inept sorry Service that I have ever experienced in trash pick up. On multiple occasions when I have two trash cans out by the road they empty one and leave the other. I called last Friday and they told me they would send someone out that day or at the latest Monday and today is Wednesday and it has not been picked up and additionally today is the regular trash pick up day and once again they emptied one can but not the other Both are regular trash cans not recyclable so I have no idea why they would empty one can and not the other. So once again I just called and they said they are sending it to something called expedited so I guess we’ll see if they actually will send someone out to pick it up. The most ridiculous part is we don’t have an option to switch to anyone else so I guess they know that so they really don’t care about customer service. I own my own business and if I ran my business like this I’d be out of business.
The Conroe office is probably one of the worst managed services I have ever delt with. Ordered a commercial service, was told the dumpster would be dropped off on Thursday, no call no show. I called back in Friday morning and was assured that the rep spoke with dispatch and the first avaliable driver would have the can dropped off by lunch time, again no call no show. Called back in again and I was told drop off by end of day on friday, no call no show. Monday morning called and was told my request was sent to the highest levels and there would be no issue getting a dumpster to my location by end of day. Still no dumpster, no call from anyone at Republics, they wont return an email, I still am not sure why it has not been delivered. If I had any other choice of service I would go with that.
Had this company and trash was rarely picked up twice a week as scheduled...I was lucky to get mine picked up weekly...I would call the company and get nowhere I would email them and get nowhere...only time I got a response was when I refused to pay for service I was not receiving...even then was told the bill would be corrected (camera’s showed proof of my complaint) and I never received a callback or email...they just came and picked up their container...worst company ever
I tried to set up service with this company when I moved here. It took so long to get anything from them I set up with another service and had been using them for a month when this company decided to drop off a trash can 2 weeks after I cancelled with them and tried to charge me for it. Then set up a pick up date 2 weeks after getting that solved. Doesnt end there, a week after they finally pick it up they decide to send me a bill for using their service since I first contacted them about two months ago! I never even used this company and they are trying to charge me. Save yourself months of problems and go somewhere else.
We have had your services for 3 weeks and we still dont have trash cans. We called Wednesday to try and get our trash cans. They told us the only drop off days are tuesday. We explained we had trash piling up and we needed service right away we were reassured they would pick up our large boxes friday so for the 6th time (2 pick ups a week) I moved the pile of trash out to the curb. Came home to a pile of trash on my curb. They did not pick up again and I am very unhappy with this company right now

Incompetent business office. Threatened with collections though my payment has been made 3 times. Not sure how to have the very nice people on the front end (truly are nice) input the data correctly or have the system correctly understand the data. Be very wary of autopay - they dont take payment then threaten collections. Ridiculous!!!! Would give a zero if I could. Drivers are nice too - too bad their business systems are terrible. Only reason I have them is because of HOA.
I’ve been a customer for over 10 years and and until recently, the service was pretty dependable. Since August they’ve missed serving our house 8 times! I let the first couple of times slide because it was post Harvey and I knew they were swamped. But, since then, it’s happening regularly. Each time I call, I’m assured that the supervisor is notified and I’m told they’ll follow up with me. I’ve yet to hear from anyone. In the meantime, the cost for service has quadrupled. I’m totally fed up.
I have been trying to cancel my service since November last year and Im still waiting for some one to contact me, they do this to keep charging for a service you dont use anymore. Good luck in trying to communicate with somebody by phone, and you cant contact this company via email, unbelievable.
I would give them 0 stars if I could. Horrible customer service, mean, rude and lazy drivers who run their trucks into tree branches and not caring about anything but getting their round done.
I don’t even want to give them 1 star. I wished I could give 0 stars. Their customer service and communication is hideous. They left a nasty note on our trash cans because the cans were turned the wrong way and not two feet apart. I’ve used them for 11 years and never had this problem before. One time I gave them the wrong way and I got a not saying “ If your trash cans are not facing the street I will not even slow down. Two feet apart and cans facing the ROAD”. Looking for another service.
Is it possible to rate negative stars? Your service is laughable. We pay $90 every three months and you constantly miss our house just at random, fail to communicate holiday pickup schedules and then come on an unscheduled day when no ones cans are out. None of this is ever reconsiled and your costumer service representatives are rude and unhelpful. To top it off, today your trashy, sorry - trash collector employees didnt pick up my very full trash can (mind you not too full, because youd skip my house for that too) because it was 6 too far to the right of its usual spot, and that was too much work for yall. So now I have a very full trash can for 3 more days and guess what? Were still producing trash. Mind you, this is why we pay a service to collect it regularly but Republic Services seldom accomplishes their main purpose as a company. In my opionion they can simply be described as garbage, which I suppose its fitting for more than one reason.
They really should receive a rating of zero because thats how much service we got out of them after moving to a new address. They had 8 opportunities (EIGHT!) to pick up our trash through either scheduled pick-ups or rescheduled missed pick-ups, and they missed every scheduled and rescheduled pick-up. We had an account with them, we were in their system, and each time they missed picking up our trash I would call them and waste a good 30 minutes of my time each time I called. In fact the managers I would ask to speak with would never answer their phones and would never call me back even when I was told that I was put into the schedule to be called back the next day. We cancelled service with them and they wanted to pick up their trashcan from our address at a time that THEY scheduled, and guess what... they didnt even pick up their own trash can. I dont understand how this company can still be in business. This may be about the worst experience Ive ever had with a company.My suggestion: If you are needing a trash company, dont even consider them and waste your time. We found that the other company that services us (WCA) has just as good of rates, reliable service, convientient pick-up days, and added perks. If Republic Service is your only option, Im so sorry. I think it would be worth it to consider moving just to get away from them! Lol
Cancelled my service after almost 12 years. I don’t know what happened, but you really dropped the ball the last few months. I have been staring at overflowing cans at my curb for a week with promises to pickup up and then nothing. I am promised that today will be the day, but it’s too late. If they are still there tomorrow morning I am bringing them to your business office with a pile of additional trash. Wish I could give you zero stars!😡
Called and tried getting a new trash can months ago no one ever came out. I put my trash out at the curb Tuesday and later on I realized my can was gone. No one ever notified me. I called and sat on hold for 10 minutes and then talked to a nice women up north somewhere. Finally got one ordered and its going to take a week to get? What am I suppose to do with my trash until then they dont pick up bags. They need a lot of work on customer service.
Glad I checked reviews before calling them (again) to see about service. We have been at our new house for a year now and when we first moved here I emailed them to see about service. Never got a reply. My husband called and they said they couldn’t find our address. But they pass our house weekly. I order everything online and the UPS truck never has an issue finding my address. Frustrated because we desperately need a trash service and have been burning and hauling off trash for a year because we cannot find anyone! Please better your service so people will WANT to use you. Based off of these reviews, I’d rather burn my trash than pay this company.
Horrible customer service. Good luck actually getting a human being on the phone. When you do they are extremely rude and pass you off to another assocaite that is equally as rude. Very dissapointed is the services of Republic Services. Review does not even deserve 1 star.

If i could rate them 0 stars i would. So, my mud district sent out a letter stating they would be taking over trash services beginning January 1st. I called republic and they said they were aware and that they would be picking up my trashcan on December 28th. Well on Novemeber 28th i came home from work and my can was gone. I have been without a trash can since then and it is now December 12th. I have called multiple times and they keep telling me that one is on the way and a supervisor would contact me. That was a week ago....ive had a sick 2 y/o with EXPLOSIVE DIARRHEA and no where to put my trash bags. Ive seen trash service in Afghanistan 100x better than the bs we have to put with in regards to Republic services. Also, a supervisor has yet to contact me.
Terrible customer service only matched by their drivers extreme laziness!!!! Hoping there is another service in my area.. Read the reviews! Republic Customer service responds to all these complaints and obviously nothing is being done internally to fix them....

Im a disabled veteran and cannot pull my trash cans to the curb. They are always forgetting to get my trash and I have to call to have someone come back out here to get it. I have even gone two weeks with no service but they still get their money every month. Worse trash service I have ever had.
My trash can wheels came off and were left in the street by the driver.... drivers need to be more careful ....
