The lady was extremely rude and argued with everything I said, not to mention my dog could’ve painted my nails better than this

We originally weren’t sure about coming here after reading some reviews but so happy that we did! My bestie & I got mani/pedis and both received quality & friendly services. Our nails turned out beautiful & the staff was so enjoyable!

Thank you for giving my daughter and I wonderful service. Clean and friendly staff. Treated my 5 yr old mini very well. Pricing to paint her nails and toes was $25. It chipped less than 4 hours but service was great.

They were speedy, but the quality of service wasnt great. Its fine if youre looking for a quick pedi while youre waiting for a movie showtime or something, but I wouldnt make it my regular salon for thorough service.

I was treating myself for my birthday and casually walked in. I haven’t had my nails done In years so I’m like completely new. I wasn’t really sure what to ask for and tried to explain what i wanted (through pictures) and was sat down and moved along. While talking to the nail tech I explained more throughly what I wanted. The other man at the front started to shout and I was just embarrassed. I ended up getting acrylics and they were not at all even. I paid $68 and this is not worth it what so ever. The environment was awful and my nails are uneven. I do not recommend this place for first timers or if you wanted a nice get away.

Its nice to get conversation and compliments in English instead of wondering if theyre talking about you in their own language to one another🤷🤷🤷... Great experience👍👍

I do not recommend this shop at all!!!!!!! the nail techs have poor english yet they expect you to spend your money when you cant even understand them enough to tell them what you want! Also the nail Tech are wayyy tooo roughh she hurt my legs and feet so bad i asked could i pay whatever i have to pay for what she has done so far and then leave!!!!!!! She tried to use that metal calis scrubber on me when i have soft feet with no calis! it almost cut me! and she was too rough on my cuticles as well!!!!!! Dont do it

I would not have come here after reading the reviews, but I had a gift certificate so I had no choice. Denny was amazing! Best set of nails I have ever had. Unfortunately, most people only leave reviews when they are unsatisfied. He gave me just what I asked for and I will definitely be coming back. Do not let the poor reviews fool you!

I have been getting my acrylics done regularly for years now, and I have not had worse service. The nails were uneven in thickness, length, color, AND shape. I tried to call and get help because of the awful job that was done and was then spoken to rudely on the phone and refused a refund. I tried to call again later to speak to a manager and was denied that. After all of this they hesitantly offered to fix them, and wouldn’t listen to me while I tried to explain my busy work schedule and how I would much rather spend my time at a place where their idea of good nails matches mine. I simply wanted a refund because I spent $58 of money that I earned on something I hated. I do not plan on ever returning to modern nails and recommend that anyone planning on going here should go to Creative Nails of Gahanna instead where I have never been anything less than overwhelmingly amazed at not only their talent but customer service.

I loved that they had 4 different options for a pedicure. They were clean, wore mask and very nice (even cracked a few jokes). Me and my cousin went together for a girls spa day and were able to get pedicures simultaneously. We got the deluxe pedicure for $55 and the massage was amazing. The tech even asked me was she applying enough pressure for my liking. They did not disappoint.

I was the first appointment of the day. Extremely rushed. I had to keep pointing out where they missed applying the bonding polish. Did not allow for complete drying time under the light. Polish did not set correctly, will have to have someone else re-do. EXTREMELY rushed! Would not return!

So I read the reviews and thought Id give it a try. I was taking my 9 year old niece for a manicure and pink polish for her birthday. The man told me 18$. With no where for me to sit I stood behind my niece and the lady was being very rough with my nieces hand . They also tried to pick the nail color by just putting anything as I had asked for a nail pallet of pink polish they had. Long story short walked out of there paying 60$ for a nail job I could have done myself with less pain.

I went in to get my nail fixed that broke and instead of soaking the remaining nail off the lady preceded to pry the acrylic off my finger seeing that I kept pulling back to the point where she split my real nail in half. Then proceeded to spray alcohol on my nail that was bleeding so bad it filled up a whole paper towel.I do not recommend

Absolutely amazing! Had a Wonderful experience. Everyone that works there is extremely friendly and kind. I got my nails done as well as my eyebrows waxed and they were done perfectly! If your not coming here your missing out on top notch nails and wonderful people!

After looking around for a while for a decent salon that offers pedicures for a reasonable price, I finally found Modern Nails and I was very pleased with the service. I had to push back my appointment but the staff was very flexible and willing to fit me in that same day. I had a basic pedicure, which included a massage with hot stones and a hot towel wrap. Everything is priced fairly and the service is great! I will be coming back!

I called Modern Nails today for an appointment. They said to come on in. Everyone was very nice and respectful. The facility was clean. The prices are more than fair. They did a great job on my nails. I’m very pleased!

I didn’t not enjoy my experience. The man was rude and questioned my wonky finger, which made me feel insecure and not welcomed. They also made me leave with my nails wet, they did not offer any way to dry them and he messed them up before we even walked out of the door. I would not recommend this service.

The nest nail spa has an amazing staff and services. They are all about the natural nail, so you wont be smelling harsh chemicals or it being used on your nails. The lotions, scrubs, masks, and soaks they use are all locally made and they smell so good. All the nail techs are friendly and talented, you cant go wrong getting a service from here.

They are definitely worth the money. Not only are their nail services on point and great quality but every one of the staff are fun and full of cool personalities. I highly recommend them. I do not know a lot about getting my nails done and they were amazing and patient and explained everything as I asked.

Ive been to this place a couple times and I gotta say I really like the customer service. you can see how consistent they are with answering the phone and I have seen them with a lot of people waiting and they handle the crowd really well and acknowledge everyone. I did the dip powder and it turned out awesome and Ive gotten several compliments! I definitely plan to continue going here.

This place is amazing! I have the worst track record with pedicures but this place finally broke it. They were nice, friendly, and stayed 30 minutes after closing for my sister and I to get fantastic pedicures! Will definitely return and recommend to everyone!

This nail team is top notch. Ive had manicures and pedicures here, and the staff is always thorough. Also, the space doesnt have the usual chemical smell wafting through the air, and the massage chairs are new and comfy.

Personable staff. Clean space and good ventilation system so very little unpleasant smells. The first time I went I had a male tech and he was very good but this time the female tech left little air bubbles on my gel nails. Still recommend because they tend to be less busy on weekdays and it makes for a very calming experience.

This was my second visit. The first was a good experience. Cant say the same for my second time. The nail tech did not want to do her job at all. My pedicure was extremely mediocre, and the gel mani was a complete disaster. She literally only painted my nails. I was so displeased I had to go back to get the actual manicure. Which is why I gave them two stars. The gentleman could clearly see the woman did not cut my cuticles or the dead skin and was kind enough to do it for me. My paint and my nails had chipped within the first week. Definitely not a good experience. And also fyi they do not wax or do any hair removal not even eyebrows.

I was one of a group of women who went to get our nails and toenails done. Though a few of us felt that it wasnt the best experience we ever had a couple of women did receive good service. I on the other hand got the person assigned to me who was a very evil mean spirited woman. She pressed hard on my fingers and toenails through the entire experience though I yelled in pain a couple times. Who knew that putting cotton between my toes could hurt when she placed it there for my Polish to dry. She spoke to the other techs about me in her language in though they did not tell her anything back they didnt tell her to cut it out either. She frowned through the entire service. I had received compliments earlier in the day about how pretty my nails were and how pretty my feet are. So there should have been nothing to repulse her. All she had to do was my nails and toenails. Im not sure why shes there if she cannot be pleasant to customers. Further she told me to go on Amazon to get something to file my own heels. Coincidentally I have now done that so there will be no reason to go back to here. Lastly I have gone to other salons before but this place rushed my service on my nails and my toenails so that when I left I had places where they both were damaged. So in summary I was charged $85 to torture me and give me extremely sub par service.

I would give negative stars if possible. Absolutely the worst nail place I have ever been to in my life. Not only where the staff extremely rude, they rushed through leaving acrylic all over my fingers and under my nails. The nails go every which way and are all different shaped. I asked for matte.. He put one very thin coat on and so they still are basically all glossy. When I asked for another coat he simply said NO. Then he did gel polish after I told him no and said it was only $3 extra. Then they charged me double!!! I paid $65 for basic one coat, one color, nothing that I wanted HORRIBLE nails. He also wouldnt tell me the price until after he ran my card. I argued with them about how ridiculous all this was and two men SCREAMED at me. I finally just left. This place is nothing but a scam. DO NOT GO HERE!!

Did a really bad job when I told nail technician he left one of my nails Crocker instead of fixing it free of charge he charged me 3 dollars each nail. Honestly the worst nail place I’ve been to 100% don’t come here unless you want to walk out with ugly nails and bad service

After one week my full set started to chip and literally fall off! I have never had an experience as bad as this with a nail salon and I have been getting my nails done for 15 years. I recommend avoiding this place altogether, they have cheap products and they do a terrible job to be so expensive!

Ive been here many times for pedicures and theyre usually pretty good but today I went to get a full set and I have never seen something this bad. I asked for ballerina tipped short nails I got medium length nails that are shaped like duck feet and my cuticles are completely exposed

I got my niece and I full sets they said itd be $35 each and they charged me $40 each plus tax!! We didnt get anything special done just regular full set and what was suppose to be $70 turned into $96. We love our nails but I feel tricked and scammed. Definitely not worth 48 dollars each!!!!! Im very dissatisfied and wont be going there again!

They gave me super thin acrylics they lifted and chipped within days. The salon is nice but the quality of the nails they do is trashy and overpriced. You can go somewhere else for cheaper and get better quality nails. They also barely have any nice polish colors to chose from.

Will not go back. I got gel nails, and they bubbled and popped so there are little dents in them, and a couple of places have black hole like areas. Also, they got the gel on my skin, and as it is trying to come off my skin, it is peeling off my nails. When they took off my previous gels, they burned my nails and skin around my nails. My daughter got acrylics, and left with acrylic material all over her hands and down her fingers. We also had to repaint her nails, it looked so bad, you could see through in some places and could see lines from the brush. Also, prices are not what is posted on the sign. They are way higher. So disappointed.

Called ahead to ask if they did ‘intricate’ designs (all I wanted was an hombre). Got there and when I showed the guy the picture he told me they only did solid nails. He starts taking off my previous gel and burns me so bad I actually yelled. He cut me twice after that as well. I finally pick out three colors. Two blues and a silver. He comes back with one blue one silver and one ORANGE. I explain that’s not what I want and he argues with me about it. He had the numbers written down so I made him get the paper back out and showed him the number he wrote down was not the same as the number on the bottle. So he huffs and groans because he has to get back up and get me the color I asked for in the first place. He cuts me off and complains as I try to tell him what colors I wanted where. He only put two coats of color on 9 of my nails and by then I’m just so ready to leave I don’t even say anything. I then try to get up and he tells me to wait and grabbes a huge squeeze bottle of cuticle oil and gets it all over my hands. So I now have oily hands and have to pick up my purse and phone and pay. I had brought my little sister with me that day to get her nails done too and the guy who did her nails cut her a few times too. I paid over $100 for the WORST experience I’ve ever had at salon. I will not ever go back and I suggest anyone wanting good quality work never does so either.

My wife and her friend were screamed at and consistently upcharged by employees. Simple misunderstandings are fine but aggressively screaming at customers is unforgivable.

Do not go here! I was there for a quick pedicure and came out with an injured toe that I am still trying to heal. Had a large chunk that got taken out of my toe and when I mentioned I was in pain he said that the cut had already been there, which just wasnt the case. Then after paying I realized he charged me $7 more than the board said. So I walked about paying $37 for a 20 minute pedicure that caused me to lose a piece of my toe and havent been able to wear a shoe in 5 days.

I had a manicure done, first of all, the man cut my finger. Secondly, the Polish lasted less than 24 hours. By the time I got to work the next day, it was completely chipping off of both of my hands. And the man was so unprofessional he missd up my day The cuticle cutters also seemed to still have skin on them from the last person they used them on. DISGUSTING. I wish I can post my finger 👹👹👎👎👎

First time ever going there and it was the worst!! Paid an extra $5 for the callous removal, I didnt really have rough feet before, but he didnt remove it all. Feet still felt the same. Had my toes and fingernails painted, within 20 hours every single one of my fingernails was chipped or almost completely removed of polish. We paid $55 each and wont be coming back!! Better to read the reviews of places before going!

It was my first time there. I felt rushed and pressured. I asked politely about their sterilization procedure and was just given an abrupt We sanitize everything before being pushed onto a pedicure chair. I saw them put a blue tablet into the pedicure bath, so I thought Maybe this is the cleanser? and I relaxed. Then I observed around me that a lot of the technicians were wearing gloves, so I felt even better. However, I noticed one person finish their pedicure and get up, and then almost immediately another customer was seated there. They did not do anything more than drop that tablet into the tub. They didnt even drain the water or anything! Next, my technician was working on my feet and she kept pressuring me to choose a more expensive pedicure. I finally agreed to callous removal, even though I dont really have any - just because I wanted that fresh skin feeling. I expected to see disposable equipment, but the lady brought over stuff that I knew had been used on other customers. I worried the whole time about the cleanliness of the utensils. For the callous removal, she WENT TO TOWN on my feet - treating them like old lady feet with 4 inch dead skin buildup! I was in pain! She wasnt even paying attention to what she was doing, she kept turning her head to talk to people beside her. Then when she did the cuticle removal, she was so aggressive with that as well! Just chopping away at me like a piece of meat! Her polishing skills were lovely, and she was polite (though couldnt speak English), but I noticed a lack of care of sanitation AGAIN AND AGAIN. For example, after treating me, she left the tools just anywhere she fancied. On the floor, on the desk, in a drawer.....all these places without cleaning them first. Next, when we moved to do the manicure, I noticed she brought the same old bag of tools....this was about a 30 second gap, people. State of Ohio recommends cleaning utensils for a minimum of 10 mins. She was so aggressive with my nail cuticles that she cut me, too. This is a HUGE sanitation risk. How does she know I dont have a blood disease?2 days later: my nails still look totally fabulous, but surprise surprise, I am pretty sure I contracted athletes foot. If you are worried about cleanliness, do not go here. I just hope this is all I caught.

They do decent work and the massage chairs are nice. But you have to pay extra for them to just use a pumice stone on your foot. That should be basic and included in any pedicure.

First off, the staff took very long at least 15 minutes to even start on my feet. Upon starting on my hands, i got a gel set on my nails. About 2 days after our visit, my nails had already started to chip. I have never had gel polish do that before. also she didnt even cover the full nail, which i didnt notice until my nails have grown out.

Manicure & Pedicure a little pricey but it is in the mall so prices will be a little inflated. Didnt add enough coats i seee streaks and didnt smooth out the nail enough. I cut down nails myself. She wanted to charge for cut down and shaping. I had to argue out of the charge. Said cut down includes shaping. I said its not listed with tje price and if she cut she would have to shape anyway not chg me for cut dwn just shape as u noemally would. Started talking anout me in her language to others in the shop. Had to tell her to discuss issue with me in english. She didnt tell me ahead of time she was going to chg for cut & all other shops do. & never changed for cuttimg my own nails.

This place is not only extremely over priced but you get treated horrible.It was extremely cramped inside so I stepped to the side and out of the way of everyone. I was rudely yelled at my the older gentleman working to sit down NOW!Normally I would walk out after being treated so badly but I stayed. After getting a full set and gel polish is chipped off a few days later.This place does amazing work but the products they are using for the price you pay is ridiculous.32 for a full set and 40 for cheap gel polish.Take your money elsewhere!

I’m very upset with the work I had done. I went to get my nails done and the work was horrible, after two days one of my nails had broken off and two chipped and they are gel. So I went back to get them fixed and the service was horrible they painted right over the paint that was already there and the two day old paint is now peeling. The price is way to high I had to pay $60 dollars for this trash. I will not be going back there ever. I’m very mad about this.

It was ok. The staff was nice. My issue is that I asked for a base coat on my pedi, but was told she did it. That wasnt a base coat, that was a fast dry treatment of some sort. Unfortunately, without a base coat, polish doesnt look that great, and red polish in teo coats should be opaque. A bit pricey for what I received.
