I typically go to a different shop. However, that shop is closed on Sundays. In an effort to get a relaxing pedicure and gel dip I thought I would try Gel Nail. The technician that I had seemed to rush through my pedicure and attempted to had me pay, when I had to kindly reminder her that I also had requested gel dip on my nails. She rushed through my dip so fast that she missed multiple areas on my nails in terms of nail coverage. During the pandemic I learned how to do my own dip and home and mine looked much better than what I got and paid for. One thing I learned when doing my own dip is when the brush becomes stiff you shouldn’t just keep going. As you can see in the pics, the brush got stiff and she didn’t care enough to fix it and kept going.Let me be clear, I paid $100 for the services I received and was prepared to pay more. Several times I had to call out the lack of consistent dip coverage on my nails. After the first time one would assume the technician would have inspected her work. Unfortunately, she did not. I had to call out another nail that did not have consistent dip coverage, the technician almost acted as if she wanted to argue the fact that the nail was properly dipped. I had to point out the actual inconsistency, then asked clearly “is that nail or skin?” If it was skin, fine the powder would come off. But if it was nail with a thin layer of power then that would be an issue. So, I repeated my question and she said “okay” and began “fixing” my nail. At this point I was not leaving without it being corrected. I spent too much time and money there that day for it not to be done right. Unfortunately the pics show it still wasn’t done right.Do not, I repeat do not go there. There is so much more I could say that didn’t look or go right. I imagine other unfortunate client’s will cover that in their reviews.I typically will not leave a lengthy negative review, but I felt it necessary for others who may come across this shop and think they may give it a try. DO NOT!! You will be disappointed. Thankfully, I have all the tools I need at home to remove this clumpy and lumpy gel dip.

The one thing you ask for in a nail salon is detail. The nails are always different. Sometimes you’ll brush them off like the way the acrylic burns as she applies it like what’s wrong with that formula for it to do that. Then my nails are chipping after two weeks of wearing their GEL polish. I do not do anything that could chip my nails I do type but never had this problem before. Until the gel nails these last three months have been horrible. Every-time I go they have children there sometimes running around. Then they always have someone upset for logical reasons. One girl waited for two hours to have her nails soaked off. Another one was frustrated that her nail was injured. One thing is for sure we have to pay. You even messed up my shape just to say I should have reminded you that I wanted coffin. I mean come on now. This is your work that you claim to love. Annie does a good job but the acrylic still burns upon application which shouldn’t happen. Very disappointed I use to rave about this place. Sad to say I have to explore new places until I find someone who actually cares about the people who they work on.

Had an appointment at 10:30am for a full set. She was on time. However, the acrylic Was thick on some of my nails and and the shape was a little off. Overall pretty cool experience.

So Amazing, I’m in LOVE !!!! I’ve been to numerous salons and never found one that’d give me exactly what I wanted . I walked in and was greeted and helped immediately. Annie was so friendly and made sure I got what I wanted . Definitely will be returning 😍😍

I randomly walked in after so many bad experiences with my nails being done. I was waiting on a nail tech when I started talking to a lady and she was about to get a balance an her nails still looked great she told me Annie did her nails so I made an appointment to come back in an hour to get mine done. I wanted rhinestones an some clear polish she put on this pink she did a great job it’s week 3 an my nails look good I’m making an appointment with her this Friday I love how she took her time an quality over everything.Update:I’ve been going there for the last Couple of months and Crystal asked me if I wanted my eyelashes done and I never had them done before me and another lady was like sure will get them done we’ve never had them done before and she did them and I’ve been getting them done every three weeks sense and I love the way Crystal does eyelashes she is everything I recommend going to get your nails done there and your eyelashes they are everything Crystal & Annie does a great job with both love her!

I have been going to Gel Nails for about 3 years. I always make my appointment with Crystal for a pedicure and dip manicure.Crystal is fabulous. She is very courteous and does amazing nails. Have recommended several people to her.

I am new to the area from DC. I decided to have a basic pedicure and Fill in. On their list of services it states that the basic pedicure includes a lotion massage. This service was not preformed and I was argued down by one of the owners . I am use to service were the client is right and not met with Confrontation. My experience a customer did not feel valued. Will not be a customer ever again.

This is my first time going to Gel Nails and I will be back again! It’s a friendly environment and the people there really are professionals. They take their time to make sure everything is even and up to par.Update: this is my second time going to Gel Nails and they didn’t disappoint again! I wasnt too happy with my overlay that I received, the tech seemed to be rushing and my acrylic was sooooo thick! I went to another shop to have it removed, she introduced me to the dip powder and I LOVE IT! The tech that was sitting behind me at the shop kept bumping my chair every time he moved and looked at me as if it was my fault! I will not be returning sadly.

As a walk-in I was seated within 20mins of arrival. My pedicure was so relaxing I fell asleep and my tech even reclined my chair for me! I also had a balance and was lucky to get Ken, he matched my previous design and I was a very happy. It’s safe to say I will be returning.

My pedicure was great and I loved the experience. When I moved to get my manicure, that was a different story. The nail tech was polite and very social, but after a week all my nails started to lift. I would take the blame, but I work on a computer for work and I don’t do any “manual” work (I don’t even take out my own trash). Within 2 weeks, all my nails were off.

MY ENTIRE TOE NAIL CAME OFF... NOTHING HAPPENED IT JUST CAME RIGHT OFF... GO HERE AT UR OWN RISK!!!

I got off work Tuesday morning and decided to treat myself. I wanted to go somewhere really nice and after looking at the reviews for gel nails I thought this was the place to go. After being there two and a half hours I left with paint chips and huge bumps in my nails. By Wednesday my nail fell off and by Thursday another. I tried calling and left a message with no call back. I drove an hour to talk to them in person they said they would fix them with no charge if I came back at six pm. I come back and now they want to charge me money. Friends don’t waste your money. I’m a very tired healthcare worker who gets maybe two days off a week and they wasted my money and my time.

I scheudled and appointment for 12pm for nails toes and lashes because they couldn’t get me in earlier I show up and they tell me it’s going to be another 40 min wait. What is the point of scheduling an appointment if you don’t honor them. Will never come back here! If your a busy mom wife and business woman don’t count into his place to get you in and out in schedule!

Really enjoyed my service with Amy Le. For once, when you make an appointment, there is a business that actually honors and strives to make sure those clients are taken care of first. The tall glass of wine with the mani/pedi makes for a relaxing experience all around.

Thursday July 1,2021 went in as 1st time customer. Full set acrylic, polish change on my toes, facial waxing. Nails upon completion looked good, however didnt lighting after receiving eyebrows and lip waxing didnt show all the hair remaining mind u my body hair lightest blonde. Upon completion went to pay gave both nails tech Crystal and man did my toe polish change $10. tip. Not that I mind but had both her 6 year old daughter & 11 year old son there. When I go to pay for my services atm machine wasnt working ask the total he said $132.00 + $20 tip i hadd no way knowing any of pricing break down because it isnt listed or posted anywhere. Had the services been worthy of that total I would not be writing a negative review. Within 4 hours a bath and shower the Gel polish literally peels halfway off on both thumbs and begins chipping on almost all my other nails. I called the next afternoon less than 24 hours from time of service and explained what was happening, oh come in we fix for you. Once sitting back in Crystals chair she began to to tell me reason happened was due to my own error not putting my nails far enough under gel nail light, I tried explaining that had gel polish before and NEVER have i experienced this before and that just prefer removing the rest gelpolish and polish with plain red regular (cheaper than Gel polish, she flat out all but refused became dismissive said she thought i just changed my mind about the polish and design implying somehow I just wanted something for nothing I repeatedly tried explaining I am not trying to get over on her or anyone else I only expect services/products etc I pay for nothing less or more. After basically her arguing with me back in fourth for 20 minutes she asked someone for second opinion, I told her I did not want or need one just want remove remaining gel polish and she was admit about she would have dril off and that she wasnt going do that. Ended up only removing rest of 2 thumbs to redo and spot covered all other remaining nails that began chipping. Before I left she told me I can use regular polish at home to cover/ fix when that happens again. Seriously!!! By Sunday afternoon July 4th 2021 nails are again chipping. Thieu,, was very professional and peaceful I had the hot stone pedicure it was fabulous. A must have by Thieu. It’s worth it and I recommend this special pedicure. They take your temperature and take other safety measures to keep you safe do to COVID.

The service was a bad experienc. Nail technician very rude, language barrier. When asked what I didnt like, instead of fixing problems! He Argue with you. From pedicure to manicure. $92 services you do not offer water, soda or wine, before the weekend arrives your polished comes off and before you can make it to 2 weekend my medium length nails are broken 😫 The Owner/Manager you think steps in to help but didnt even offer any, not even for some other technician to fixed the bad technician work. Sad to say Columbus ohio my hometown! Has a lot of Nail Salons/Owners/Technician robbing a lot of customers 😐 with their over prices and bad service. This was the worst experience at a salon I’ve ever had. Not only was I disrespected by the lack of proper mask wearing but the service was unprofessional.

Just poor customer service. Didn’t say hello or nothing, just approached me with a temperature gun and told me to stand up so she could spray me with some machine. Then follow her and sit. When I took one sock off, first thing she’s telling me it’s a charge to take gel polish of 2 toes. I’m still waiting for at least a hello, how are you something. Them proceeds to hold conversation with coworker. Then she Just pushed or pulled my foot or leg all around. Was focus on her coworker more than me as a client. I’m in the beauty industry as well (esthetician) this experience was just horrible, I will not be returning to this place.

1st the salon itself is really cute, clean and they took great covid precautions. I didn’t drink but they have wine and champagne available. Quyen did my pedicure and gel full set w/ the bling. He took his time perfecting the coffin shape and placing the stones I definitely would recommend .During my visit a few ppl complained about the additional $20 for gel polish as the salon isn’t equipped with a drying station. For my standard pedicure w/ regular polish, a full set medium length coffin nail, Gel polish with bling on all nails I paid $135 after taxes. For the service I received this price is reasonable to me.

Made an appointment to get replacement gel tips and a manicure. While the nails were soaking a walk-in came in and was seated and nails completed. So even though we had an appointment the walk-in was serviced first. Thats a 30 minute wait for no reason. No point on making an appointment if they will service the walk-in first. Nice people though and clean store.

I have been to gel nails on numerous occasions, most of which I’ve been highly disappointed. Some of the nail techs here are nice and friendly, others are so-so and don’t care about what you would like done to your nails that you’re paying for. I received a total cost of $55 for my entire service and when I was finished I was told the total would be $85 for something that was “added” which I never requested or understood would be added. After reasoning back and forth with the owner for about 10 minutes, they offered to stop my service (a half-done pedicure) and allow me to pay the $55. So, I left Gel Nails with an incomplete pedicure due to their lack of organization. Not to mention, the owner told me I could have gone down the street. I’ve even brought other business to Gel Nails during a time when I was satisfied with their work. Unfortunately, every guest I’ve invited has had a complaint about their nails.

Gel Nails is very overpriced and the staff is unprofessional. They charged my daughter $80 for a full acrylic set: $60 for the full set, $15 for a design on 2 fingers and $5 for the length. The $15 charge for the design on 2 fingers is ridiculous! When I called I was told that the price varies for design which means they can charge whatever they want. Rip off!!!!

Over priced!!!...I received a manicure with no hand massage nor did they put lotion on my hands for $32 I will not be returning. + they put polish remover in the polish to stretch it out

Crystal and Ahn are very friendly and give the best pedicures! They always treat my daughter Faith and I very well. The shop is beautiful and they take all the necessary precautions to keep you safe and sanitized.

I always get my nails done in columbus and this was the WORST experience i have had. The man who did my balance did not listen to me whatsoever. He was rude, bitter and did not respect the customers money by the quality of his work. My nails messed up due to his lack of professionalism and he told me it was my fault for messing it up ( mind you it’s shellac you can’t mess it up once it’s dry). Later i drive home. almost two hours away and another nail completely peels off. I decided to go back the next day because i spent 70$ at this place. When i arrive they make me wait 30+ minutes for their mistake and continued to be rude saying it is my fault for the error. I will never spend a dime here again. The rudeness and lack of professionalism is ridiculous.

I had a SPA pedicure in mid December. My technician did such an outstanding job with meticulous attention to detail. My toes turned out perfectly, my callouses removed, and had a great sugar scrub and leg message. I have had pedicures all over the country and this was definitely in the top 10% of places I have visited.

Came here last month my first and last I had an appointment at 2:30 while I came in the gentleman rushed up with a huge smile and scanned my forehead then sprayed me and my fur slides without asking waited a couple minutes showed the picture how I exactly wanted my nails to be done so i showed the tech the picure from there own images lol sad how I wanted my nails to be done so she gets up to show her boss and she came back and told me that it will be $80 and she stands there still till i said to her okay no problem she must of thought I cant pay idk lol uhh thats not even the point the fact she did not know exactly what she was doing like it was her first time doing nails the fact the boss Stephanie had to keep checking to see if shes doing her job Ive noticed one of the nails that she was doing she wiped off with a paper towel and were talking about powdered nails wipe the powder off complained about the powder drying to fast cause she do nails slow slow is a no no for me stuck with powder residue on my finger nail had the Nerve to say Ill come back to that finger then when she did she wipes my finger off with the clear nail liquid used to apply the blue powder on the nail she got nervous and said I thought that was the polish remover didnt even apologize Wow the pink was more of a see through purple wasnt hot pink one nail was thicker then the other she got nervous more when her boss came up to talk to me about getting my eyebrows done and over filed my nail leaving one skinny then the other one I had scheduled an appt a few weeks back wanted Steph to do my nails but changed my mind nahh the fact she kept saying thank you for your time and patience and understanding im thinking at this point this must be her first time then her attitude changes back to back stating I need to relax my hand which my hands are already relaxed and i told her that. The only reason I could think is she may have been getting unpatient and I notice when people catch attitudes like that they clearly dont know what theyre doing and I noticed some technicians they do this when they greet you and get you to talk a lil and once they find you nice they think they can boss you around so the white nails with the glitter is what I asked for I wanted to do different colors with glitter not to copy the chick forgot the glitter she did the diamonds i told her to add more diamonds than just the diamonds she was adding this girl had the audacity to say i dont need that many diamonds on my Nails I asked for because it would be too much that would look tacky the intire nails looked plain and tacky and she didnt even do the Diamonds the way they were supposed to be done one Diamond was bigger than the other ones and for a female who likes a lot of diamonds you shouldnt have a opinion because you dont know what youre doing your opinion dont matter cause Im the one whos paying for it not you for the nails be done its your job to do the nails it took me everything in my power not to be rude or lose it but the fact that the whole nail job was already coming out tacky one of the ladys phone kept ringing kept going off which is cool but the fact that my husband text me this Tech had the audacity to snatch my hand a little bit and my hand was straight for her to do my nail i told her calmly mam dont do that ever took 2 hours for plain nails smh just everything about what happened was just really out of line and uncomfortable she was clearly having a hard time with my nails the fact there spraying somebody without there permission which I feel like scanning the forehead is all you need to do but if youre going to spray someone be professional and at least ask someone if they want to be sprayed before spraying them down especially their fur slides i had to wash my fur slides and these nails were no where near close to $80 Ive had better never again I rather go back to my old technician she does Great Nails she was closed during the crisis she just wasnt answering her phone but now she is.I do not recommend

A new girl started yesterday and did my pedi an she was amazing. I believe her name is Annie.She made me feel at home, she got my cuticles all the way together - an the best part about this shop THEY HAVE WINE lol . Enjoying a glass of wine with a pedi and your kids not there to bother you was heaven. Thank you gel nails/Annie for the great experience!

Made an appt for 2:30. When I came in, my temperature was checked and a checklist on my previous whereabouts was given to me. I also was asked to wash my hands before sitting down. Plastic barriers are up at every station. I believe his name was Danny who did my pedicure. He did a wonderful job and took his time with my feet.

I am very disappointed in Crystal Quach, owner of Gel Nails, Inc. My granddaughter came into the shop with me for my appointment and retuned yesterday on her own to get a balance. She shared photo of her request and before Crystal started to work, she saw the shape of granddaughters already sculptured nails. Initially my granddaughter thought they looked okay, but once she got to her car, she noticed they looked too thin. She called the shop not knowing that Crystal was the owner/manager and Crystal told her that because my granddaughter originally said her nails look okay, she was finished. My granddaughter called in twice again to speak with a manager and Crystal NEVER OFFERED HER TO RETURN TO FIXED HER NAILS. MY GRANDDAUGHTER NEVER USED ANY HARSH LANGUAGE AT CRYSTAL. SHE BELIEVED THAT THERE WAS A MANAGER SHE COULD SPEAK WITH. My granddaughter worked in retail and thats how complaints are handled. Instead Crystal threaten to call the police on my 17 year old granddaughter because she called three times seeking to get help. SHAME ON YOU CRYSTAL. You have lost my business and also of my mother who I bring in sometimes. Even the gel polishing you did on my granddaughters nails does not look that great. We are Christians and would never treat people that way. You made mistakes in polishing my nails too, but I never complained.

Crystal is great... I love the hospitality, and the vibe is always on point as well. I came in with 2 broken nails, and she fixed them with no problem. My nails look even better than before.

I made an appointment a week out for a balance and a pedicure with Crystal. During my balance appointment she got up a dozen times to answer the phone check her phone for messages or assist another nail tech in the salon. When she finished she then tells me whoever made the appointment didnt put down a pedicure and could I wait 30 minutes. Since I was already there I agreed. 40 minutes later she started the pedicure and was up out of her chair at least 6 times answering the phone and wondering thru the shop. I was never made to feel like I was a priority at all. I will never return to this salon after spending close to $100!!

I’m very impressed with the precautions being taken to prevent the spread of Covid-19. Barriers, vapor disinfecting each customer as they enter and social distancing all of the stations. Great job!!

Love this place! See TONY, he is the bomb dot com for real!! Appointments suggested but not necessary. If you plan on going in Friday thru Sunday or any holiday, make an appointment to deter any wait time you may have!! Very very clean sanitary and they take extra precautions since COVID 19 such as taking your temperature, etc.

Staff was very friendly and my nails looked okay. You could see all the brush strokes on every nail though. I got a full set and told her I wanted a shorter nail but ended up being pretty long. Also it was VERY expensive. $60!! I’m from out of town, never costs that much at home. $20-$30 and for a much better job.

So, in Columbus for business but did not have the chance to visit my normal nail salon before leaving my home state. Saw Gel Nails across from my hotel and decided to give them a try. Very clean and serene salon. Was serviced by Crystal who was professional and very nice. Felt comfortable enough to get waxing services and tech who performed my waxing was nice too. My nails are beautiful even though we could not quite find the right combination for a style detail I normally wear. I would not hesitate to go back for additional services if needed while here.

I started coming to this shop this year. I like GEL because they are quick. Sometimes too quick. Everyone is usually friendly. Wait time for me is never more than 15 mins, even if I walk in on a busy day, they dont turn me away. I was also one of their #1 drawing for free pedicures which I thought was pretty cool. Nice to see the fun stuff they do for customers. I would give quality of nails 3.5 out of 5. And overall experience is 3.5 out of 5 also. Shop is clean, decor is pretty and has a small bar. Hence my 4 out of 5 rating.PS: I wouldnt argue back and have a defense for every negative review. You are still a business and should maintain a professional environment. Youre not going to have 100% satisfaction. Those responses turn people off so I would think twice about it. Just some friendly advice. From one business woman to another.

Love Love Love this place. Elegant atmosphere. Super friendly staff. Super clean. They always get me right in. Love Crystal, she does my Gel nails every time, they are always perfect and they last 3 whole weeks, sometimes longer! Also have done some waxing which I was hesitant but they took great care of me.

I had 530 appt for manicure, eye brown shape & tint as well as eye lashes (for a trip the next day). I get to the salon to be told the girl that booked me isn’t in today. I received no call or notification until I drove to the salon. Very unprofessional & unorganized.

Meh! It looks really nice inside and the ladies seemed nice but the price seemed pretty high. For a balance with gel it was $45 before tax and tip. I did get a special nail shape though but it still seemed high for a balance. The total process was extremely quick. They did offer me some fancy water which was a nice touch. However I am really picky when it comes to my nails. The gel color had spilled off the acrylic onto my natural nail which bugs me a lot. Also I feel as though the acrylic should have been down further on my natural nail, it looks as if my nails have grown out when I just got them done.

I was going to gel nails for only my eyebrows at one point. Then one day decided to get my nails done and they are the bomb. My nails last longer than they normally do from getting them done somewhere else. Im a forever customer now. They are very friendly and nice I really recommend them.

59 dollars and didnt use hot towels or scrub my feet. Racist shop. Now since covid 19 they spray ppl when they come in but not everyone. Then when addressed its because they are low staffed. This place is a joke and they pick and choose to provide great service to who they want.Would not recommend at all!!!

Really like this place. Ive been a few times and the technicians are always pleasant, take their time, and do a good job. I will continue getting my nails done there.
