Applied to this staffing place because Ive been out of work for a few months and just need some help right now and I saw they had clerical jobs posted so I applied and the lady who did my phone interview was pretty rude and told me she wouldnt give me one of the clerical jobs because I dont think you would like it thereisnt the whole point of a staffing agency to help people find a job who desperately need one? so Im back at square one because this staffing agency just wont help.

I like most everything about this place. They actually worked with me on the hours I wanted to work.

We use Elwood Staffing at our Momentive Performance Materials site in Indiana. They are very prompt and send us some really good people. They are quick to send info on background checks, to ensure there are no issues with the people they are sending.They have also addressed COVID concerns, as it relates to their workers.They have been top notch on sending us multiple, qualified candidates!

You don’t have to understand what it’s like being dieabetic but for you to question my disease is truly unprofessional in every way. I’ve had a job since I was 16! The lady I talked to was very rude down to the point of not wanting to give me a fork lift position, even with 4+ years of fork lift experience! That’s fine, I don’t need to be discriminated against because I was born with dieabetes. Thank you Elwood staffing for making it clear that dieabetic’s are not good enough to work for you...

I was running late. I called and asked to reschedule. When I arrived Sarah had stated they did not even know I was coming and corporate had scheduled my interview. This was true. The application was running slow and my passwords were not working.The lady with the black short bob had decided she was not going to interview me at the sight of me. She asked me what I was doing for the past hour and told me i did not communicate with Sarah that my passwords were not working. I did communicate with Sarah and she did reset my passwords back to zero.Sarah was nice and helpful. The others were ready to get off work at 5pm.You have jobs to fill, I am qualified and ready to work. I will be e-mailing corporate.

This is my first experience with an employment agency so take that for what its worth- Im not familiar with the usual ins and outs of other agencies . However, I can tell you that my personal experience with this place has been wonderful. Adam was extremely kind, professional and helpful at setting me up with a great job in a matter of a couple days that I expect to be at for a long time in the forseeable future. You do need to know that what you get depends on what you put into the process. Fill out the online paperwork, the surveys, come in for the interviews and to complete the assessments, be punctual at arriving and even with returning calls and emails. Great place to work! Finding a job was fast and easy going through Elwood Staffing! I was able to find a job that was close to home and works best for my schedule! The staff were very professional and took time to listen to me to help me find my job that I love!

I have been to several temp places in Fort Wayne in the past 10 years.. I can say without a doubt Elwood is the best hands down!!!! They wouldnt hire me because I dont have a high school diploma or GED. What they dont know is that I have factory experience already, Im a dedicated worker and I show up on time. But theyll let people who no call no show and argue with the management work there. I think theyre unprofessional and inconsiderate to others.

If you are a service member just forget it, they’ll do anything not to hire you because of in frequent absence of work due to (duty) very unprofessional I would not recommend

My experience was quite the opposite from majority of these reviews. All I have are positive comments. I was originally located in a different city about 2 hours away from the city I wanted to work, because of which, they were extremely flexible with their service to ensure that not only was I comfortable but also stress free. I was greeted with a warm welcome and that stayed throughout the entire visit.....from the front desk to management. More specifically, Chris R. was very helpful and informative about the jobs available, even during my placement we stayed in contact. He was very responsive to phone calls and emails. I had no issues getting a hold of him when needed and thats what was important. I never felt abandoned after placement. Im very impressed with the service and do not know why theres so many negative reviews but I guess you cant please everyone.

I work at Cadillac Coffee in Fort Wayne, IN for Elwood Staffing and the people at Elwood are so nice and helpful. They understand that people need to make money. And they will work hard to find you a job.

THE WORST TEMPORARY SERVICE IN FORT WAYNE I have ever worked for the people in the office are rude and unprofessional honestly I believe it has something to do with the color of your skin I wouldnt recommend anyone I mean anyone to work for this company.. they treat there workers so bad and there is nothing you can do about it because the manager is only going to be there for her office staff .. its very sad some people are still treated this way
