This salon was professional, efficient, and clean. They are able to process so many people at once without sacrificing service or quality! The decor is tasteful and there are TVs muted with subtitles. They also have soothing music on in the background. The massage chairs are amazing! Will definitely be coming back!

I went here for the first time on 4/16/21 for a pink and white acrylic set, eyebrow wax, and toe polish. I was extremely impressed by the quality of service I received. Fast Forward to 5/7/21, I know I waited a while but I went back for a fill in. I originally wanted gel polish over my pink and white acrylic but after a test nail I decided against it because you could still see the white tip. I advised the nail tech I wanted to stick to my pink and white fill in. I had four repairs I also needed done. The guy repaired and filled my nails with regular acrylic over pink and white so now I have six pink and white nails and four regular nails. I stopped the guy and told him that’s not what I wanted. He offered to soak my nails off and start over but I didn’t have time. He charged me $45 dollars for nails I am getting soaked off and redone due to his lack of competency. I am extremely upset with the way I was treated after the mistake that was made on their end. Don’t go here

For $40 on a gel polish fill I’m not impressed. I use Posh Nails but normally only my side of town. I settled for this location because it opened earlier, I regret that. I walk in saying I have an appointment at 11 and of course they don’t see it. But they sit me down, and I choose my color but don’t get service until 20 minutes later after I got there early. The nail tech was good but then she didn’t clean the last polish color off well and when putting the new color on she didn’t go over the edges of my nails so now the left over paint from last time is in there. I had red before now I have orange and I won’t be returning here, I’ll just wait. She also didn’t shape the nails well.

My first time visiting and I needed an eyebrow wax. The guy told me to head to the back. I had no idea where I was going. And when I asked for more specifics, he looked at me and said nothing. I had to ask another employee. Will not be back. Only reason its a 2 star and not a one star, is due to my brows look great.Service is EVERYTHING THOUGH!

Best nail salon in Columbia! Always super friendly and do an amazing job every single time. Their dip manicures last me about 4 full weeks without chipping/breaking :) Seriously love posh, I recommend them to anyone looking for quality nails.

Probably one of the beat nail salons I have been to. They are always on time with their appointments, have great customer service skills, as well as just being a great group of people! I go regularly about every 5-6 weeks and my nails never lift, my pedicure always lasts even with regular polish. Highly recommend

I had a fill in and I go on a regular to get my nails done but I think they are getting to comfortable with the COVID restrictions. The nail technician placed another client right beside me. It was not within the 6 feet guidelines. I kept looking at them but didn’t want to tell them how to do their job, but it really rubbed me the wrong way that caused me to do the survey. Also the mail tech did my nails,and it was not as good as other technicians.

I took my out of state girlfriend here for a manicure/pedicure so she can get her gel nails redone. We made an appointment 20 minutes prior to getting here, but the door says they accept walk-ins as well. We were here around 1pm on a Tuesday and it was not crowded at all. This place is very nice on the inside! Very clean and I do like the decor! The staff are very friendly and helpful. While I wasn’t getting any service myself, they made sure that I was good and comfortable. Offered to get me a drink while I waited, or if there wasn’t any services I was interested in. There is a little bar area and I know they serve wine, not sure about any other alcoholic beverages, as well as coke products and water. I would absolutely recommend this place to any guys who are wanting to step up their game and treat their girlfriend to a mani/pedi!

I love Posh Nail Spa! I’m a regular customer here and they ALWAYS make sure I’m taken care of. Today, I showed up unannounced to have a couple nails fixed, and they were quick to help me despite me just walking in. They were so polite and eager to help me. If you live in the Columbia area and need a regular place to get your nails done, I would definitely recommend!

Do not go to this salon! One nail broke past the fingertip and 7 out of 10 nails had cracks two days after my manicure/dipping powder. The technician also hurt me while using the drill and didn’t seem to care. They would not refund the money and argued over fixing them for a charge. The manager hung up on me and offered no solution to the problem. They basically took $60.00 for a job horribly done. Not even professional. Also—during times of a pandemic, they are not sanitary. They use the same clippers for all customers with no sanitation process in between. They also use the same cheap nail file for all customers. I asked for a new file and the technician either did not understand my request or perceived to not understand the request. Also, only HALF of the technicians wore face masks. I didn’t even see one employee sanitize the blue light area one time while I was there. Do not go to this salon. It’s way overpriced and the service is awful. They have ruined my nails.

Do not waste your hard earned money on getting your eyebrows done here. I’ll let the pictures speak for themself. The entire inner corner of my eyebrow has been ripped off and the ends have been pulled out. I am very unsatisfied 🤬

I have lived all over SC and NC and Thao at Posh is THE best! She is quick, yet my manicure (dip gel) always turns out wonderfully, and she is so pleasant.The salon requires a temperature check upon entry, washing of hands, and has clients well spaced. I feel very comfortable and safe.

This place by far is the worst nail salon I’ve been to. Everything is so rushed and the employees are like robots, rushing to finish your nails to get to the next person. Also, they lie about pricing. I tried giving this salon 2 chances and each time I had to ask for my nails to be fixed after they were done, and I left still not pleased. I went to a new nail salon called Aria Nail Spa and they fixed my nails and now they look the way they are suppose to. Absolutely gorgeous! The gel actually reaches my cuticle now, unlike posh making it look like I need a fill in even after getting my nails done there. It was terrible. If I could show you pictures of a before and after you would be amazed!

Its tough in Columbia to find good services sometimes. But this place is always good with me. No long waits. Nice professional staff. Clean peaceful environment.

They put you under the light to dry regular polish and charge for gel. Fill in is 25 but they charge you and extra 5 to remove the gel polish. They always find a way to up charge

This was my first time here but the technician that I used was john.I did not get a manicure or a pedicure, I got a new set. I have been going to him for years at another salon and would follow him wherever he goes he is absolutely amazing. He knows exactly what I want without me even having to tell him!I have looked at several of the other reviews, and people are saying that their children werent welcome. just about every salon I have ever been in does not allow children unless they are receiving a service. if you are going to be bringing your child you need to ask up front, dont just assume that they allow them in.As for divots left in the nail bed anytime you take something that was glued on off its going to pull the top layer of the nail bed off. I have been getting my nails done for almost 30 years, and there have been very few instances where it was not a good experience, or my nails suffered.If someone is this concerned about it, they can buy pure acetone and soak their nails off before coming into a salon.

For the record, I would like to state that I have been to this business numerous times and received great service, including amazing nails. I asked for a full set. I wanted the nails to be short with a tapered square shape and sharp edges (tapered square means the nails are a rectangular shape AKA a square without a flared tip) When I sat down, I immediately informed the nail tech of how I wanted my nails done. The first time the nail tech did my nails the nails were crooked, the tips of my nails were filled unevenly, and they were so short that I could see my finger tips (she never even asked if the length was okay, she just cut them, and almost cut me in the process). After she finished the first set, I reviewed my nails and realized how terrible they were done; the nails were far too short, the shape was incorrect, the sides on my nails were messy, and the nails were crooked and filed unevenly. I went back in and asked for them to soak my nails off (I didn’t ask for them to be redone, nor did I care to receive a refund). The woman at the front desk, who is always sweet and most professional, said they would soak off my nails and redo them. Now being that the nail tech messed up my simple requests the first time, I was hesitant but I said I would let them try again. The same nail tech who did my nails the first time did them again, and somehow managed to do worse than the first time. The nail tech told me she understood my requests better this go round. She said they couldn’t do a tapered square but she could a coffin shape- I said this was fine. This time the nail tech did my nails too long, even after I asked her to shorten them. She also filed the nails and applied the acrylic in such a haste that a lot of my nails are crooked, uneven, aren’t the same length, and have dips on the surface. Not to mention, the nails are a mixture of a coffin shape and the shape I originally asked for (tapered square)!!!! . After the nail tech was done, I paid the 5$ increase (this was due to the coffin shape) and just left because I didn’t have more time to allow them to be fixed AGAIN. I’ll be attaching photos to this post. Notice how one pinky is coffin and the other pinky is tapered square. Overall a horrible experience and I would hope I am contacted to have this finally resolved.

This is by far the best nail salon in Columbia! I love this place! Their pedicures are amazing and they have a wide variety of choices that include wraps, massages, and paraffin wax. Their signature ones let you enjoy a complimentary glass of wine, soda or a mimosas. Their staff is friendly and do a great job! I recommend them to anyone!

Nail tech talked the entire time and didn’t pay attention to what he was doing. Massaged one foot, but not the other and rushed through everything. This was my first pedicure since quarantine and I’m extremely disappointed. I will never go back here and do not recommend any one else going there either.

Very nice atmosphere. They did my nails quickly and efficiently. The staff was very nice and polite. I gave 4 out of 5 stars because the middle aged man who waxed my eyebrows did a rush job. He didnt wipe off the brow pencil I already had on my brows before he started waxing, which resulted in my brows not looking uniformly waxed. I will return again, but I will not let that same man do my brows.

Everyone was great! Me and my boyfriend went today for Mani-Pedis and to get our eyebrows done. It was beautifully decorated, and they quickly did everything we wanted. They did a great job, and I recommend the hot stone massage. They were very clean and did both of our eyebrows greatly! We’ll definitely be coming back!! ☺️

I arrived at my appointment time but was not seen until 30 minutes later. I waited 30 minutes to receive a gel manicure that took 20 minutes. My friend received a regular manicure that took 10 minutes. I should not have paid for the service I received because I am extremely disappointed in the way my nails look. If you’re looking for quality service, do NOT go here. Will never go back.

Very friendly and my pedicure was amazing!

I made an appointment for three pedicures for my mom, my sister, and myself. I was prepared to spend well over $100 for those services. We walked in and my sister, for obvious reasons, brought her 6 month old baby with us. The man looked at us and said we dont do that and pointed at the baby. Shocked and thinking surely he isnt saying THAT as in the baby, we ask dont do what? and he then asks us to leave. I have never been here and this one time has caused me to never come back. What horrible service!

I had a full set of acrylic nails and a full pedicure with gel tips for the 1st time in my life done here. I have always been weird about people touching my feet, but they were so gentle and understanding and professional that I actually got to enjoy my experience and relax. The complimentary alcohol was also an added benefit to the pedicure, as well as the massage chairs, and the classy environment just cant be beat. Over all, I would recommend their services to anyone who wants their nails done over any other facility in Columbia!

Good service and friendly staff. A few suggestions: I strongly suggest that conversation unrelated to the business, between staff be curtailed. It isnt professional. The wait is reasonable, but dont sacrifice quality in order to service more customers. With that being said, my nails look good. Im definitely sticking with Posh!

Best nail salon in town and only one I go to! I highly suggest going early (or make an appointment) as they are always busy. They take their time and give a wonderful relaxing experience!

If you are worried about having a pedicure or manicure right now, I recomment this Posh location. Must have an appointment and wear a mask (you can buy one from them for $2). Take your temp upon entering. Ask you to wash your hands before the service. Seat customers every other station, unless youre a family group like mother/daughter. All employees in masks. Doing things right during this uncertain time.

I would give this place zero stars if I could. I am leaving this post for my mom. She has been a loyal customer of this nail salon for YEARS. Today, she went to get her nails done. She usually goes to Hannah, who is out on maternity. The manager refused to service her, telling her that shes too particular and she has to wait until Hannah comes back and asked her to leave. HOW RUDE!She has also noticed a couple of things since shes been going. They stopped asking her if she wants a drink, despite asking the white customers if they do. They also sit most of the black people in the back while they consistently put her in the back of the shop. I am typically the last person to pull the race card, but its safe to say that the management is racist and they have the worst customer service every. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.

Horrible customer service and not clear on prices.. I love getting my nails done so I don’t mind paying for them... with saying that this place literally charges for everything they do..take off nail cut down nail length charge if you want a coffin or Seletto Nail.. I only got mid length coffin nail pink and white and it was $85 dollars.. (mind you they didn’t even last long)when I asked why it was so much that’s when they told me the little things they charge for.. I go to a new place and get the same thing and a better experience and I love my nails for only $50.

Its a beautiful place and very clean; super friendly staff. I was offered drinks and seated immediately....just to wait. Yes I had an appointment; and arrived 10 minutes early but still waited past my appointment time. The guy doing my nails (Im guessing a manager), kept stopping on me to assist others coming in. That frustrated me as I had plans and hed stop to take payments or talk with other clients. Overall though good experience, they stay super packed so dont plan on going on your lunch unless you have an appointment!

I got a SNS (dip) manicure and the nail tech was nice and worked really fast. Friday was a busy day for me and I’m sure that my service took less than an hour and looked great. Since I’m new to the area, this will be my go to place!

When I went here about two weeks ago I had broke a nail and needed to get it fixed and I tell the woman abt it and she takes it off with another nail piece (which hurt very bad) but I was going to over look that then when she was doing the drilling to get the polish off and make all the nail okay she hits my skin like 5 times! And I told her abt it and all she said was “ok” but I was also going to over look that but between today and yesterday TWO of my nail have just popped off one while I was washing my hands like what the heck and the other while I was sitting down! This is a very bad place to go to would never recommend for anyone!!!!!

This salon does a wonderful job! I moved from Charleston and it was recommended by a neighbor. Its a gorgeous place and Im so happy I found a place to go that I love. I get the powder dip and have never had an issue and there are a ton of colors to choose from. The only issue is its so popular so it can get crowded, which I guess is a good thing!

I had an appointment. I got there a few mins. early and was seen right away. You have to apply hand sanitizer before entering, have your temperature checked when you enter, and wash your hands prior to service. There is also social distancing practices in place in the salon. The space is very clean. The staff is friendly. My tech was Kathy. I got a gel pedicure. She did a great job and I was out in no time! I will be going back.

The employees at Posh nails are SO sweet! They did a wonderful job on my nails and I am still excited about the way they look! Ive been going all over town trying to find someone to do a specific design on my nails, I tried this place and they nailed it! (No pun intended). My go to place from now on!

Horrible experience when I went to get Dips today. I’ve never been so rushed and overlooked at a nail salon. No customer service skills. Was told to put on my own lotion because it wasn’t included in the service. $45 for Dips is a reasonable price but no lotion or hand massage?! Are you kidding me? My technician was Michelle. Poorest attitude of anyone I’ve ever seen in a service industry. Save your money. Le Nails on Forest does a much better job and has excellent customer service.

Had a pedicure done today. Technician was going to fast with the sharp tools and my toe was punctured. She didnt provide any first aid. I had to ask her to use some alcohol. Spoke to the manager who is very rude. He said Im too picky. Ive been coming here for a year and never asked for any special services or treatment. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!👎

I would say that Kim(nail tech) was very observant and listened to what I wanted done. She took her time and I love my nails. The only reason why I’m giving three stars is because of the customer service I received at the front desk. I found him to be very rude and when myself and my friend had a question about the bill he gave us an attitude when we were just asking for a break down. Again Kim came over and explained it and everything was fine. I recommend this place hire a new front desk receptionist because most of the reviews are about him and it is bringing the quality of the business down when they actually have great nail techs.

Ive been to Posh a few times and have always had relatively good experiences. The shop is very clean and super beautiful-- it definitely has that luxury feel. Ive been satisfied with all my visits, but the shop ultimately lacks consistency. My first nail tech was a gentlemen who was very attentive, took his time, and did a great job. However, when I went to get a pedicure, the tech would get up mid-job to go attend to other matters. She also rushed me for my payment and literally took my card while my nails were drying and swiped it without me being present. Customer service is always a hit or miss, but at least the job is done right.

I really love Posh Nail Spa I do not visit other nail salons. Peter does a perfect job on my eyebrows every time!!! I really wish they would add an esthetician who does eyelashes!!! & add more nail jewels & crystals like provided at other nail salons so I dont have to drive across town for those services ☹ other than that they do a very good job in my opinion.
