Clean, reasonably equiped fitness center. Has regular pool and warm water pool. Steam room and hot tub. Also a couple of family locker cubicles.
Great classes and friendly people. The staff is very accommodating.
Great service. Our second child will be born at mercy Anderson. They are great to my wife.
Love this place. Great staff, always clean, fantastic locker room.
Love the aquatic classes and the variety of other classes. Staff always friendly
Im going to be a new grandma! My experience was wonderful!
Dr Malik is great.
My doughter had a appointment. Had to wait to go into Dr office,. Then had to wait for the Dr. They are very covid-19 carful. Saw a lot of cleaning between patients.
Lovely staff and plenty of options to keep fit!
Love this place. Super clean, friendly staff. Recommend to everyone!!
Dr mitts is very caring snd informative
Nice facility but easy to get lost in! 😳
I like it but its expensive.
Ill be back.
Very enjoyable health club. Private showers, great facilities, friendly front desk staff and trainers, great group fitness, tennis pros and facilities are awesome! We get a discount through wifes employment, but cost is a little high without it.
Love this place. Everything you need under one roof. Fitness equipment, classes of every kind, running and walking track, swimming, tennis, clean locker rooms etc. Its a great place with friendly professional staff. Other gripe? Overall cost of membership. But you get what you pay for here. Highly recommend.
Wow, best swim lesson experience! My son is a 6 year old with a few special needs, mainly sensory processing and anxiety, so just going in the water was a huge concern. We were paired up with a highly qualified teacher, Beth. She showed genuine care for my sons needs and the anxiety he had going into and under the water. She was calm and personal making the water seem calm to him. On our first visit she had him so relaxed he was floating on his back letting her pull him up and down the pool. I had never seen my son so relaxed! He counts down the days until his next lesson each week, it makes him so happy when its swim day! The pool is warm and the perfect size not to intimidate a small child. I looked at two other facilities before making the decision to do private lessons at Mercy HealthPlex Anderson, and Im so happy with our choice. Unfortunately, we are not members but, the pricing for a non member was still very reasonable. If your a parent looking for a professional staff and great facility this is the place to take your child!
If you have to go this is the place, Great Doctors
Staff is amazing at the desk. Therapist are great attentive and enjoyable to be around! Thanks bunches for all you do
Needs some repairs and upgrades, especially considering the high monthly membership fees. Apparently there is a new management company, so hopefully there will be improvements soon. If they get the place back to where it was a few years ago (or better), then I will revisit and upgrade my review.
Nice suburban hospital featuring a full set of health services. Staff are caring and attentive. I have been a patient there several times and felt that I received good care even though I try to avoid having to use their services! 😊
Visited for a tour. Decided not to commit to a required year long membership. Very pricey and none of the services that I would like are included in the cost of membership. The staff was very courteous and the faculty seemed well maintained though.
Staff is always so friendly and helpful! Therapist are amazing, they listen to whats actually goin on with you and work around the issues!
This place is seriously overpriced considering what a mediocre gym it is. First of all, a good quarter of their equipment is always broken at any point in time and they usually ignore me when I let them know that a machine isnt working. The treadmills and step machines need to be oiled so badly that they screech while in use and I can barely hear my own music. The locker rooms can be downright disgusting at times. The same glob of hair sat in a shower for over a week, leading me to believe the cleaning staff does a poor job. I refuse to take a shower there anymore because of how often the place smells like someone used a shower as a toilet. I dont recommend using the hot tub because theres usually floating bits of dead skin, not to mention Ive seen several older women take off their diapers then get in the tub. No thank you, I dont want to bathe in other peoples pee. Some of their group fitness classes are really cool but unfortunately most are in the middle of the weekday, so I guess they dont want anyone but retirees or stay at home moms attending. The only part I like is that its close to my house and so empty that I never have to wait for any machines.
Nice building. They seem to offer quite a few services. Unfortunately, you may have a walk from your car to the door. This place can be quite busy!
Had a great experience there with my daughter. Great care.
Always a pleasant escape
Great trainers and classes. Adequate parking. Nice amenities.
I have been a Member at the Healthplex for several years, the staff are all very polite and they have a nice indoor track. My complaint, as it has been for some time, is if you are a working professional, the swimming pool is essentially open Mon-Wed 9-10pm and Thur-Fri 8-10pm. Weekends are a crapshoot. There is a swimming schedule which they have posted which seemingly has nothing to do with reality, and shows an opening every evening from 6-7:30. There is not one. I assure you, there is not one. I have tested this theory many, many, many times. I’ve mentioned this in the past to the front desk, the staff is very nice and confidently state that the only hours the pool is closed are on the schedule. However if you actually walk back to the pool area, all six lanes are filled with children swimming, there is a man with a whistle around his neck and parents are on the sidelines watching their children. Perhaps this is some kind of rogue swim class. Whatever it is, it severely limits the availability of what I think of as a fundamental amenity at a fitness club.
Wasnt happy with Childrens cardiology. Wasted trip, money and time! Nothing was done about my sons chest pains and severe palpitations!
Mercy Health has been such a positive influence for me and for my husband! Though it is more expensive, Mercy offers something for everyone. I can swim while he sits in the sauna, or we can both pay racquetball together. We love the variety and so excited to start this year on the right foot!
We are not members, but I have sent my kids there for summer camps at the non-member rate. The front desk staff is rude and not at all consistent as far as allowing non-members in to drop off and pick up kids. I was told specifically to walk in to the left of the desk (the exit) as a non-member to drop off my kid. Sometimes I get confronted by front desk staff. Sometimes they let me proceed and sometimes they make me fill out a long form before I can enter. Today, I was confronted by the rudest lady Ive ever dealt with at the front desk, who acted like I was stupid and didnt know the difference between the entrance and the exit. I mentioned that the process is never consistent, and she snapped at me. I asked my husband if he has ever been stopped by the front desk when he walks in, and he never has. They never say a word when he walks in through the exit. So apparently they dont have a problem with a man doing it. I just think they need consistent procedures and they need to be less rude...we were potentially going to become members, but dont like how they treat us, so no thanks!
Its energizing, great atmosphere, I loved it cant wait to go back
Only one power rack in the whole place, and the two smith machines they have are pretty tightly crowded into a corner. Good luck getting any strength training routine done in under an hour and a half - what little freeweight area they have is monopolized by the same four to six people every time Ive visited. Its apparent this facility does not prioritize strength training. Most university gyms utilize space way better than this.
Out-patient surgery department has the BEST nurses, assistants, and best side manner. Thank you, Ladies for your patience, knowledge, and experience.
I dont like this gym at all. For one thing its dirty. The pools are particularly disgusting, especially the warm one that smells horrible (not just chlorine but something else, my kids think theyve seen older ladies use that pool as a bathroom). We tried private swim lessons at this place and they were a joke, we were constantly trying to swim around other people just handing out at the pool - I guess someone didnt explain the meaning of the word private to this gyms staff. Other classes they offer I find boring. I cant wait to get rid of my membership.
Very nice place and the staff are very knowledgeable and really into healing the individual here. Up to date equipment and peaceful atmosphere makes a great place to get healthy and stay healthy.
It is a gold level(rated) swimming facility. They have a top of the line club swim team! Amazing gym!
Great place, clean. Good doctors.
Its not clean. Ive never witnessed a person wiping down a machine after use and I have found candy wrappers in the treadmills that stayed there for weeks. Trash on the floor in the womens locker room. Half of the keypads for the lockers dont work. I moved and gave them a notice and paperwork for my change of address. I was charged for three more months and when my membership was finally cancelled. I was told it was a goodwill gesture.
Clean, lots of equipment
Love it everything is amazing the workers are extremely helpful everything you need and more is here only thing I wish they had is an ice bath similar to the jacuzzi just ice cold besides that they have everything you could ask for
This place used to be a well-run facility for working out. It was actually luxurious. Apparently it has changed owners, and it has become a place for kids to hang out. Everything about it now is geared toward children. The warm water therapy pool designed for adults who need it and who have problems with knees, hips, etc. has been overtaken by babies and small children. They even have baby swim lessons at the same time as aqua arthritis. If you want to waste $88.00 a month on a place where the pool is closed for kids swim lessons every Saturday and Sunday, as well as a place that is geared for children instead of fitness, by all means join.
Good place to go. Nice and great service
Following safety measures, clean, well managed
Very caring staff I would recommend this place there caring people there
Its ok. Not very clean, equipment in disrepair, staff doesnt clean up or organize the weight room.Locker room showers are pretty gross. For the price, it is a big disappointment.
Great indoor tennis, they have a heated pool (90 degrees), a lap pool, and a hot tub. The front staff are amazing, and thus place has one of the best tennis racquet stringers in the US.
The people I met here went out of there way to be friendly and helpful.
The facility has many activities, a nice gym, and a heated pool. The staff was very friendly.
Not as clean as should be... and they are $ GRUBBY HUNGRY about charging your ASS OFF when they need to show a little bit of mercy with people... especially when the people are just broken and trying to heal and get more healthy.... health-plex ;-0
Prompt, very friendly and gentle.
Great gym. Indoor track and basket ball court, lap pool + theraphy pool (warmer) with hydro classes, whirlpool, steam room and sauna, spa. Locker rooms with free day lockers or can rent one for longer. Towels, Shampoo, conditionner, body wash and cream are available for free. Large variety of classes, tennis, yoga, cycling, bodypump, too long a list. Just ask for a day pass and go try it.
Great open layout. Easy to park and get to entrance also.
I signed up my 12 month old son for swimming lessons that were supposed to be American Red Cross Certified. Instead we had a teenage instructor who had never taught swimming lessons for babies. So really we just paid $80 for my son to play in the water for a week. I notified Sarah Davis, the swim instructor coordinator, but never received a call back to discuss my disappointment. Very unprofessional to post an online description that was not even close to the actual experience. Sadly, we wont be back.
Excellent tennis lessons. The coaching is super. very experienced, very knowledgeable.
As a current member i have to question getting emails from Mercy Anderson Healthplex inviting me to happy hour and beer tastings. I think it sends mixed messages when a health club is inviting you to go drink alcohol!
Doctor Office is easy to access. Never used any other facilities.
My favorite hospital. They are amazing.
My wife had surgery and something happened and mysteriously no notes were entered in her chart but had to return ton the ER ther next day complaining about chest pain shortness of breath and lite headed and dizziness. And were told this happens usually from chest compressions.
Very happy with all my doctors and all mercy hospital services
I like my doctor, she is very nice and great at what she does.
Good place to work out.
I go to the Dr. here.....love the healthplex as well I have a membership here
I love Mercy HealthPlex in Anderson! Its not as big as the one in Fairfield but everything is just as nice....including the people! I met with Emma (a personal trainer) to help me set up my own routine and since I have lower back issues it was no small task. I am also meeting with Mary for a Yoga lesson tomorrow. I signed up with Moira, she was very kind and very relatable! Ive only been a member for a month but I feel like ive been going there forever!
Disgusting. Unless youre dying, keep driving to next closest hospital. I wouldnt take my dog there.
The rates are really high. for a family, we are paying $172/month. For that price, everything should be I excellent shape. It isnt. They have very worn out cardio equipment that desperately needs to be replaced. Good luck finding a decent treadmill. The weigh room is tiny. The only leg press they own is out of order. The worst part for moms is that the general childcare hours doesnt apply to infants. Infants can only stay in childcare until 8 pm, while childcare in general doesnt close until 845 pm. As a result, fulltime working moms who arrive around 7 pm only have an hour to work out before picking up their infant. That is hardly enough time for me to get a complete work out in. Plus, you have to call to reserve a spot for infants.Checking into the gym is annoying. Every member of the family has to have their own separate member card, even kids and tiny babies. My husband and I sometimes dont go to the gym together, so we cant keep the babys card on our individual keychains. We have strapped it to his diaper bag, which requires lugging the bag up to the counter to check him in.On a positive note, they have really nice locker rooms, nice lap and therapy pools, and a reasonably priced spa that is attached to the facility. The basketball court is nice and they have TRX stationss for suspension training. They also have a great selection of swim classes that we would like to take advantage of whether we are members or not.Overall, I might end up finding a new gym because I find the childcare inconvenient and the cardio equipment to be unacceptable.
Good experience with this facility
The people here are fantastic 🤘🏼
Katrina is the best swim instructor we have ever used!
Its your choice... exercise is your best medicine...do it...now!
Very nice clean facility
Great facility keeps in touch with the community.
Great weight room and basketball court
Nice place to work out, convenient location.
I am a Founding member and never plan to cancel. They could clean their locker rooms/showers more frequently
Lovely people
They are horrible doctors but Awesome nursing staff Doctor miss diagnose my mothers condition and cause her death
Great equipment and staff is always helpful
Wouldnt recommend Mercy for acute care/ICU trauma kind of stuff but ok for more minor health issues.
Great place for tennis.
Nice, clean state of the art gym, spa, pool, and tennis club
Very professional and personal
Over rated over price and not very clean
So much more than a gym!
The amenities make it worth the monthly fee
I was there for a sleep study for my brother.
Nice nursing staff.
This was suppose to be a review on the hospital. Oopps!
Not worth the price...Too Expensive!
Great services, friendly people.
Great facility and trainers.
Indoor track, clean facility.
Good overall.
Great place to workout!
Showing some signs of age but mostly clean and friendly staff
Expensive, very large but has the tiniest lifting area, and membership doesnt include everything.
Awesome service
Very friendly doctors & staff members at the occupational therapy group.
Amazing facility, helpful staff!
