The staff are all so friendly and helpful. The outdoor pool is wonderful, clean for a busy pool, and they have loungers out of the sun if you wish.

So far I have really only made use of the outdoor pool, which is nice.Most of the pool is shaded, which is a nice touch.It has 2 diving boards and clearly defined deep and shallow ends.*The outside pool is not wheelchair accessible, shallow end is 3 ft throughout.Between the deep and shallow sections are a few lap swim only lanes. I liked the separation of the 2 depths, makes it much less likely that your child doesnt sneak or otherwise end up in the deep end.Due to COVID-19...- You must make reservations online prior to your visit.-You are not allowed to bring guest at this time-Programs in general are limited, however slowly returning

I cannot say enough greatness about this facility. the staff & managers are wonderful. they go above & beyond when it comes to making decisions to please & accommodate their members. i love their pool(s) & have met many wonderful people here. this facility has changed my quality of life. i would highly recommend to all of my family & friends. i praise this branch of YMCA above & beyond, as they deserve it!!

Silver sneakers circuit n yoga are good. Yoga would serve more if it were moved to Monday Wednesday, or Friday.

We are new members but recommend the M. E. Lyons YMCA! The lap pools are great and plenty of options for the kids to do as well. Everything is super clean and the staff are very friendly. Some gyms and/or clubs make you feel uncomfortable. Not this place. Feels very family oriented and comfortable. So glad we have chosen this YMCA as our go to place for family exercise and fun!

They offer an adaptive swim lesson program for kids with special needs at a wonderful price and you do not have to be a member. My daughter has made immense progress in this program. I highly recommend this program and am grateful that my child will be safer around water.

The front desk staff is amazing and you couldnt ask for a better swim instructor than Ms. Anne! Im constantly impressed. The pools are always clean and we have had fun every time weve been here! My kids love the kiddie pool and kids club!

Good gym, that has a lot of equipment in separate rooms. this makes it more secluded, not jam packed most of the hours I go. most cases its empty, which is really nice. the Steam room temperature needs to be raised. feels like normal room temperature. members whove been going there for decades say staff worstened the steam room situation by lowering the temperature in the steam room for no aparent reason. coming from the downtown Cincinnati Y where the steam room is really hot, has been a huge drop off at this Y. my only complaint is that the steam room intensity needs to be raised drastically. the steam room is literally the only thing that keeps me with the Y. Overall this Y has a very welcoming environment, a bit dated, but its a good experience other than the steam room.

Our family loves spending time together at the YMCA. I am a single dad with 2 children at home. The swimming lessons were great and Luke was an awesome instructor. My 6 year old loves going to the kids play area and my son and I enjoy the cardio and swimming.

Staff is great. Classes are good. Love the pool.

I was hesitant to join the YMCA because, just looking surface level, it seemed like other gyms had better deals and memberships for cheaper. But after a poor experience at crunch fitness, I ended up joining the YMCA, and I am SO GLAD I did. It’s a clean environment, the staff is amazing and friendly, and the childcare is phenomenal (my 7month old is all smiles when I pick her up after) and every time I stick my head in kids club the child care providers are talking with, playing with, and/or holding children. Everyone is so delightful. I have absolutely no regrets about buying a membership at M.E Lyons YMCA.

The staffs are very nice. This Y just had new replacement machines 3 weeks ago. I used the swimming pool with my kids once, but we will definitely use it more in the future.

My daughter is enrolled in pre/k swim lessons. I appreciate the fun that keeps her wanting to come back for more mixed with a focus on water safety, which is the primary reason I enroll her month after month.

Swim lessons are amazing! My little boy built so much confidence. He did stage 1 & 2 over the summer.By end of stage 1, he was swimming underwater on his own for a few feet. He built more confidence and skills with Stage 2 and tested into his Yellow Band by end of the summer.We couldnt have been happier with his development.The swim instructors are all patient and encouraging. We saw several children over the summer who were TERRIFIED of the water and to be away from their parents. One little girl in our stage 1 class was screaming for the first few weeks. But by the end she was participating with the rest of the class. This speaks VOLUMES about the patience of the instructors and the LOVE they have for teaching their craft.We couldnt be more satisfied with the program and look forward to continuing with more lessons.

I have begun to visit this YMCA in order to swim laps with a colleague and work at losing lbs. First thing I noticed were the handicapped employees. I have been at another Y in Cincinnati for over a decade. I have never encountered a handicapped employee there. Good Job ME Lyons. About the facility: so far I am very impressed. Lots of people are using it. The upkeep is great. The showers and locker room is clean. The pool is 25 yds and the outdoor pool is 50 m, I think. The staff are friendly and overall I am looking it.UpdateI have been swimming here the past three or four weeks. The staff is still friendly. The facility is kept up nicely. The indoor pool is a good temperature. Now that I am older, the cold water can really make my hands and feet cold. Lots of lanes to swim in. Going to keep swimming here.

Went to water aerobics for the first time yesterday.Silver Sneakers scheduled activity.You participate and you will get a good workout.I can tell I used muscles that need toning.Met and made some new friends.Easy to find location.

Take the kids swimming. Have sitters for when i need the hour or so to myself in the gym. Everything is posted and family friwndly atmosphere.

Hello, My name is Aubrey and I have a bad review. So today we were going to the YMCA and we enter. We were going to the outside pool. We asked for our bands and now they have this book, And everyone in our family got the green Band but my little brother Ezra. And this lifeguard knows us by name because we come everyday. But she would not give Ezra a green band. Because he was not in the book. But everyday she would give us are bands because we were in the book. After that my grandmother asked if she can talk to the manager, She Said I AM THE MANGER. We are working on getting a refund or sewing them. DONT GO TO THIS YMCA!

I tried to ask some questions about joining the gym and the worker seemed agitated, in a rush, and unwilling to help. It seems the AMENITIES they offer are only available during open time. E.g. open swim. The worker would not answer this question directly, but from what I gather this is the case.

I just called the Y and asked a simple question about the pool hours and the girl on the phone was super rude, and just said 12. Then I called back and asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, they asked me which department and I said overall customer service, And without saying a word she transferred me over to a voicemail with no message on it. Very rude customer service, extremely disappointed.

The gym is well kept and the equipment is somewhat in decent condition. They do have a few interesting classes, unfortunately the choice of classes in the non working hours is slim and a person working with a day schedule might find difficult to join.

Pretty good, kids area was great. One suggestion is to add better grips on the wall. Kept slipping and falling.

Pretty good overall but like all Y they have maintence issues with the steam rooms. Sauna is pretty good though.

My kids love the downstairs Kid Zone, and I really enjoy the classes.

I had a great time swimming outside. I dont know why the indoor pool was closed.

We have put kids through swimming lessons here over the years. They have both indoor and outdoor pools with a number of other facilities (including basketball courts, gym and childcare). A valuable part of the community.

Best YMCA in Cincinnati, hands down. The pools are the best in the city. Anderson YMCA helped me decide to keep our memberships after some sour moments at the other Cincinnati YMCAs, especially Colerain.
