Very clean place which I appreciated. Nice technician too. But they didn’t clean up the extra coloring around my nails so it looks terrible. I didn’t look closely until I left unfortunately.

I love coming here. I’ve had my dip manicure done by both Julie and Brian and they came out perfect both times. They pay very close attention to detail and never a single flaw with my nails. Very friendly staff!

This honestly might be the best mani/pedi I’ve had in many years. Hien treated my ombré dip like it was the most important art project she’d ever had. I left there just amazed at how professional and perfect everything was.

I had a great experience and will definitely be back! Vy did my dip + tips manicure and she was fantastic. I showed her a picture of what I was looking for in terms of color and length and she matched it perfectly. I had an appt and was taken right on time on a busy Saturday.

The nail technicians here are great, its clean and my nails turn out amazing every time. The only thing that is consistently a problem here is the scheduling. Even if you make an appointment, expect to wait at least half an hour. They time all their services, this should be something they can easily fix, but they seem to regularly over schedule themselves.

This nail salon only has 3 technicians that can do acrylic or no chip or design! And they are OK at best.So if you want anything other than a basic manicure, do not come here! The quality is poor and the pedicure water is disgusting they use the same tools on everyone.

DO NOT GO HERE! Walked out after waiting an hour and twenty minutes! I wanted to try a new nail salon that offered hard gel extensions. This is what their website says regarding gel extensions: “Gel is a lightweight, natural looking, and durable form of nail enhancement. It will keep nails shiny even without polish. (Recommended for those who want a durable enhancement but do not like the look of acrylic nails) Gel has a more natural appearance.” Nothing in this description specifically says that they will only do gel extensions with a tip underneath. After waiting for an hour and twenty minutes to be seated, the woman who was about to start my nails told me she could not do it because they only can do that service with tips underneath. My nails are currently too short and damaged from acrylics to do tips + with past experiences gel extensions have fallen off more easily with this method. I pointed out how damaged my nails were and they suggested I get acrylics again? Clearly this business does not care about their clients’ nail health at all. I remained respectful while at the salon, but am extremely disappointed in the fact that they wasted such a big amount of my time. The front desk worker understood me and we discussed what I wanted multiple times while I was waiting. She told me that they could build the nail up fully with only gel, but the nail technician denied me. Many woman were waiting in the salon for lengthy amounts of time, too. Absolutely no respect here. The worst customer service I’ve ever had at a nail salon. I get my nails done very often but have been struggling to find a place that offers gel extensions. Glad to know I can cross another salon off my list of places to try.

Vy was a sweet, and hard working woman. She made sure my nails were beautiful and basically perfect! My pedicure with Chloe was amazing as well! Both women paid attention to detail! The place in general is clean and professional, I loved it. I’ll know where to go next time I’m back from Denver!

Decent overall job with the dip, however it wasn’t neatly done. The tech left dip under my nails and didn’t clean/grind it out. Set a timer before she started and so probably didn’t have time to clean out the edges and grind down the top evenly either.

Olivia did a great job, I love my nails. I come here often and everyone of the ladies that have done my nails always do a really good job.

Went on Memorial Day and they were only taking walk-ins, no appointments. Arrived shortly after they opened for a regular pedicure and gel manicure and didn’t have to wait. By the time I was done there was a wait for walk-ins.My nail techs were nice and checked to make sure I was happy with the color I chose, nail shape, etc. The finished product looked just okay, the polish for my gel manicure could’ve been cleaner around the cuticles and seemed very thick overall. By day 6 more than half of my nails were starting to lift. Some were already lifting so much they were getting caught in my hair while washing my hair. I’ve had gel before and they’ve always lasted me a few weeks before needing to be removed. By day 8 the lifting was really bad so I had to get these removed after only 8 days.

Normally my experiences are good but today the only issue I had was with inconsistent prices. I did a fill in and they gave me one price. Once I took a lot of cash out the nail tech behind mine saw and she intervenes by saying almond shape is more..i was so confused. Ive came here before for last 15 times and it’s the first time the price changed.

Best nail place I’ve visited in the downtown area. They do good work and it’s so relaxing to get my nails done here. This is now my go-to nail shop!

I’ve had a great experience every time i’ve been. the selection of colors is overwhelming but i appreciate it. all of the staff here are amazing and i’ve been to quite a few of them. i always do dip and it last forever, even with working in a restaurant full time.

Got the cutest nails done by Tina! Super affordable prices as well for downtown Chicago - $48 for a dip powder and they don’t charge to remove. This manicure is 3 weeks old and still looking flawless! Can’t wait to go back!

Went here on a whim cause my normal salon was closed. I have now found my new place to go to. Le did incredible on my gel pedicure & really took her time. would recommend 100%

During the week when no one is here it’s great. But they don’t honor their customers appointments when they get busy.. they’ll squeeze in whomever so you end up waiting over 30 min even if you have an apt. .. three stars is for poor customer service.

They just opened not too long ago. I had made an appointment for 3 through yelp on the day of and they answered very quickly and were able to take us.When we got there at 6 it was still a bit of a wait since they were busy, so we did have to wait about 30 minutes before they started working on us. Not too big of a deal since it was a busy time and they are new, just plan ahead and give yourself some time. They have a very wide selection of gels and dips. Very clean place also! Even though my first time here was a bit of a wait I decided to come back again for a second time and Im really glad I did.Le is wonderful, she does an absolutely amazing job!! I am so picky when it comes to my nails and she pays very close attention to detail to make sure your nails look perfect. I will continue to come back here to get my nails done. So happy I found my go to place! Everyone here is really nice.Also you can pay through Venmo!

This establishment is stellar. I had the pleasure of being serviced by Sara and Le who gave me the best mani/pedi Ive had in forever. Despite my late arrival they never made me feel rushed and stayed past closing to provide excellent service. Ill definitely become a repeat customer!

My new go-to nail spot! I come here for dip-manicures/pedicures, and I have yet to be disappointed with the quality. My nails can last almost 4 weeks without them coming off, and they are WAY stronger then any acrylic/gel manicure I used to previously get at other salons. I also feel the pricing is very fair for being in the heart of the city. You won’t be disappointed!

The mani- pedi was wonderful, clean and§ spacious. Exceptional service and the paraffin treatment is divine.

Just OK. The technician rushed through my mani/pedi and the quality of service was just OK - most of my nails had drag, the filing left the ends of my nails rough, there was little to no pampering along with mani/pedis that most salons offer and my friends who went with me received more attentive service than I did.

My new favorite nail salon!!! Ive been here a few times now and they have never failed to disappoint. I always get acrylic nails and the process here is very precise and done correctly by a professional. I have never had acrylic nails stay on (and look good) for as long as these ones have. The new interior of the store is also beautiful and has an assortment of for purchase items. Always easy to get an appointment and the whole process is pretty quick.

At first I was just excited to have a nail spot in such close proximity to my office but Top Coat has exceeded my expectations. My pedicure stayed longer than anywhere else I have ever been and even my friends gel mani looked amazing weeks later. Great selection of nail polishes too.

I was in Chicago for work and desperately needed a dip gel manicure. This place was nearby and had good reviews. My manicure took an hour and a half and looks very sloppy. The gel is all over my cuticles. It has only been 4 days and I can already tell these are not going to make it even a week. They were very nice but I was disappointed.

The salon was very clean and also very pretty! I really like how my nails turned out. If you’re a little iffy on your decision to try this place out, just take the chance! You’ll be pleased!

Its not my 1st or 2nd time visiting this nail salon. So, everytime I make an appointment - I have to wait around 30 min! That’s ridiculuos! What is the reason to take appointments then?????!! Time management - ZERO!!!! You’ll probably get service faster as a walk-in... or maybe in a different place if you respect your time!

Horrible quality and customer service.Waited about an hour for three gel manicures despite having an appointment. Manicures felt rushed and then after 9-10 days the base of the polish has already started peeling! Most gel manicures I’ve gotten last at least 3-4 weeks, this quality is so poor for paying $38 plus tip. On top of all this, the customer service from the guy manager was appalling. I called to discuss the issue with my nails not lasting to even two weeks and he was abrasive and said “well I can’t promise they’ll last forever. I don’t know what you want me to do about it.” He was extremely rude and aggressive. I will NEVER return nor let anyone I am friends with go to this place. HORRIBLE QUALITY, AGGRESSIVE MANAGEMENT.

I’m traveling and found this gem for a gel manicure- very clean environment, nice staff and an excellent manicure! Next time I find myself back in the area, I will absolutely be back!

This is the worst nail salon I’ve been to. I got a dip manicure and 2 of my nails fell off within the first week. When I went back to get them fixed I was told I would have to wait an hour. I am never going back.
