Came in midday and I had a problem. thought I needed a fill-in on dip powder when in reality, I had colored acrylic. CeCe got me situated, filled me in both literally and figuratively-- and NAILCESSITY just got themselves a new regular. friendly staff. personable staff. professional staff. and .... nails looking niiiiice.

This is a very good place to get your nails done. The workers are very friendly and you have so many color options to pick from. They can also work really fast (if needed) and still get a great job!Nailcessity is located on a very good spot. I come here very often to make my nails look beautiful. Highly recommended.

Absolutely loved my experience! The staff was friendly and helpful. I went in for a gel fill with a no-chip. My nails were pretty messed up from another salon and Nailcessity made them beautiful again! The shape is perfect, the only bad part of my experience was trying to pick a color... They have so many, it was hard to pick which one I loved the most! I have found my new salon

Nailcessity is close to work and they were able to fit me during a busy work week. The place is clean and there seem to be some regulars. They work fast and while its good for busy working professionals, this is the reason the quality of the work may be lacking. My no-chip was streaky and clumpy at the same time. If you need a quick manicure, theyll fit you in, but I wouldnt recommend it. Maybe other technicians do a better job, mine didnt.

I am a licensed cosmotologist and this is the only place that I will go to!! They use Barbicide and an autoclave to clean their tools which is the only thing that will kill germs.

Got a no chip, chipped within a week. The price was $35 (only if you pay with cash) but then $45 if you pay with card. So wrong.

MY WORST EXPERIENCE IN 20 YEARS! The male nail tech took 2 hours to file off all the acrylic I arrived there with. My natural nails were thicker than this fill-in I received. I asked why they were so thin & was told to wash my hands. I did so & as i returned 1 of the paper thin nails just broke off. He asked me if I wanted to leave it broken & he would just shape the tiny nail! (OMG!) He refused to add a new tip as requested & instead did a Build-out on the nail. I reiterated that all of the nails were so thin i feel my real nail. The nail tech ignored me so the manager had to force him to add a layer of acrylic which he did sloppily. Threw on a coat of equally sloppy polish, charged me full price aggressively and sent me off to stare at this mess for 2 weeks. The manager called me after and offered me a new coat of polish which i declined. Save yourselves & walk on by this establishment. 👎

This place is horrible! I went in for a pedicure and my toenails were improperly shaped. I also received a manicure which was a terrible job and chipped the same day. On top of that the customer service is not up to par....the women told me I would have to wait hours to get my horrible manicure fixed- how rude! I wish I had of never tried this place. The only benefit is that its close to my new job but Ill be going back to my old nail salon where they take their time and treat their customers with respect.

Just had my nails done by Cecilia, highly recommend. I had a fill in and two repairs with a no chip polish. Very knowledgable and friendly staff, great energy. I went in wanting to try glitzing up my nail a little just for fun and they did something very cute and elegant with very little direction from myself haha. Shape is perfect, and she took a lot of time and attention to making sure the nails didnt have that bubble effect that sometimes happens with fake nails. Thanks Cici!

What I got was the basic w a dry, hot stone massage. Ive gotten tons of different hot stone massages in my like and never 1 without some type of lotion or oil. Imagine a hot, rough stone pulled and dragged across your dry feet. The revitalizing gel was applied after the lukewarm (hot) towels. The scrub/mask was applied in small quantity and not rinsed off with water, but rubbed of w a (dry again) towel, to my discomfort. No cuticle oil was applied before cuticle care was administered. I was completely lacking the sent spritz, towels warm lukewarm not hot and there were no warm booties as stated in the pedicure description. My leg were massaged, but with gel and scrub rather than oil.Bottom line, was an unpleasant and uncomfortable experience and I feel like my feet are more sore now than before I got the pedicure. Tech only charged me $60 for the $65 pedi but I feel like they should have been paying me for the pleasure of torturing my feet.

I went to Nailcessity because it was close to my job. I made an appointment earlier in the morning to come around lunch time. The gentleman who did my nails was really slow. I wasnt really paying attention to the time because they were playing Friends with Benefits on the TV ( great movie btw, but not for a business) It took a little over a hour to get my nails done. (Fill-in) I usuallly get my nails done in Downers Grove but I had an event that day so was pressed for time. After he finished the cost was $40, I did leave a tip. I can get the same thing done and a pedicure at my usual nail salon at $43. I knew downtown prices were more but double, come on. My nails were dry as it seemed. about a hour later I noticed 2 nails smudged. After work I went back and asked to get these nails fix. they guy had a attitude and said I left so quickly. UMMMM you took over a hour to do my nails and I waited 10-12 min to dry. He fixed the nails poorly. Oh Friends with Benefits was still playing. This was last Wednesday, October 5th. today October 11th 2 nails have chipped. I want to go back but I decide not to waste my time on such a horrible salon. Stay away from this place.

Always has available appointments and will accommodate for walk-ins easily. Go to Nora for your no-chips shes great!
