Been going in for a few months now. Only reason I chose 4/5 is because I wish they would include a hand massage and cuticle treatment in the manicures, and the staff isn’t always the most friendly. Otherwise, the quality is amazing- especially for the price, and they’re easy to book appointments with.

Love love love this place! My nails are beautiful and the price I just couldn’t beat. The entire spa is clean and neat. My nail techs was patient and very detail oriented. I love how I everything was fast but not rushed. If there was a mistake or anything like that it was immediately corrected. I will definitely be back. Also an appointment is required so I advise calling the day before or early the day of for an appointment. I had zero wait time! I walked in exactly at my appointment and was immediately worked on. I absolutely love it.

This is my second time coming here but my 1st time taking the time to review them.I was talking to my very good friend about needing to get my feet and nails done since I wasnt happy with my previous nail tech... the work that my previous tech was doing wasnt lasting and thats horrible.So my friend told me about American Nails and her nail tech, Jenny, and how happy she is with her work. She made an appointment for me - they require appointments now - and off I went today.And I have to say, I was very impressed with the service I received there. When I walked in, they required for both me and my daughter (she wasnt getting anything done) to wash our hands.They got the chair for the pedicure ready for me and I sat for my first service. Jenny asked me what color I wanted from the wheels of color that she brought over to me and I showed her the color I wanted for my toe nails.After a relaxing time on the chair, she took my items over to her station and asked me what I wanted done for my hands... I showed her a picture of what I wanted and told her that I wanted to change the color to match my toes.She worked her magic and did it exactly how I wanted it - and I am so happy with her work!I cannot wait to go back to see what other ideas I can give her to work on my hands!

I did my nails with Alex he’s so good. They have a lot of good technicians. I’ve been coming here for 2 years😫 I love it! Not rip off pricing either. They actually care about their clients.

I’ve been coming here for 2 years! This is a great nail salon. It’s close to where I live. The staffs are friendly and very polite. The salon looks clean and has a very professional, yet relaxing vibe to it. (With a music 👍🏻) My nails always look great. Me and my husband love to come here every 2 weeks. Best teamwork ever ❤️

I’ve been coming here since they first opened the salon but I had such horrible service I won’t ever return. I am not one to leave bad reviews but I think others should be warned about the service here. I asked for French tips and even showed a picture of how I wanted my nails to look like and the technician put white French tips and clear top coat. It looked awful and cheap you could still the white part of my natural part under the white tip acrylics. He tried fixing it my putting pink nail polish on top of the whole nail and that just ruined the whole French style. He tried fixing it one more time and left the whole thing extremely messy. I asked for another technician to fix my nails and the guy first refused and insisted on fixing my nails and I had to refuse several times. He wanted to remove the acrylics but I did not want to start all over due to damaging my nails and more time would be wasted. Finally the manager “fixed” my nails and they still came out average. They put so much product on my nails and filed it my nails several times due to their mistakes. My nails were filed down and put underneath the UV light several times. They wanted to start all over and remove the white tips and put in clear acrylics. At that point I had spent 3 hours on nails that I wanted to cry every time I looked at them and my fingers were starting to hurt from all the filing and drilling they were doing. I just let them do whatever they could to make it better. I couldn’t choose the base color I wanted because of the white tips and they left it chunky from the top due to how much product they used on my nail. Everyone was coming up and talking in their language about the situation which would make anyone feel uncomfortable. No one apologized to me at all and I still paid full price on nails that don’t like. My nails are also going to be very damaged due to what was done today. I wasted so much time and money on a service that was very very disappointing.

Booked this place based on the pictures. Just wanted a basic mani pedi. But the service was subpar. My toenails were bulging, “no chip” on my pinky toes came off the next day.Was going to go back next day but decided it was a waste of time as I might be getting the same treatment.

Love this place.. my no chip lasted my entire tropical trip in the pool!

Did not give me what I asked for, and made my nails super uneven! Super unprofessional and didn’t listen to what I asked for. First and last time ever coming here. There’s even a speck of dirt inside the right pointer nail towards the cuticle. Can’t believe I was charged $55 for this mediocre full set. Told the people up front that I didn’t get what I asked for and they still charged me full price. I asked for a file to fix my nails since they were so uneven, and they just had me sit back down with the tech who messed up my nails to begin with. He said he’d have to cut them square since they were too short to shape any more (not true at all). I can’t believe the lack of professionalism at this place!

Moved to chicago a year ago and still needed to find a good nail place, so had a stepdaughter, step mom date and went to try this place out... and it was awesome, I loved it and will definitely go again.

The guy who did my nails was the first one when you walk in next to the receptionist. He did a really great job with my nails! I’d definitely return back I was very happy. He took his time and my nails are very neat.

I decided to stop in after reading through the reviews and I had a very pleasant experience here. My nails and feet were done by different people and they both came out perfect. I’m very satisfied with the work that I received. The prices are pretty typical; Not expensive, but the quality is definitely there. The only reason I did choose 5 stars is because Eric was just a bit rough when doing my hands although I don’t feel he did it intentionally. again my nails look fabulous and I do plan to return.

I literally take a whole day off just to go to this place, they do my nails quickly and absolutely perfectly. I’ve gone here 4 times and I’ve never been disappointed. I’ll keep coming back ❤️

First time at this salon and I came in for a full set. I was greeted as I walked in and the staff was very nice. They offered me some bottles of water and sat me with a nice nail tech. She was awesome and very helpful. Her customer service and attention to detail clearly demonstrate her intent. I really appreciate her excellent service and I love how my nails turned out.

American Nail Spa is a very nice addition to the neighborhood. A new state of the art nail salon located in the same shopping mall as Ross at the corner of Diversey and Pulaski. It offers parking with easy access entry, its very clean, the staff is professional and friendly. The Polish choices are huge and well organized. They also offer waxing. We were impressed and plan to go back. The pricing is very competitive. I suggest you make an appointment especially on busy days like Friday-Sunday. They are open 7 days a week! Cermak Fresh Market is right across the street.

I went there to get a fill in after a horrible experience at another nail salon. Amazing environment with amazing people working there. the gentlemen known as “Kenny” did such a good job. I advise this place for anyone looking to get a chill manicure or pedicure with an affordable price. Best place I’ve been to all my life!! Visit this place for a best experience! Im not a person who does her nails or pedicure often. Was Celebrating my 50th bday and decided to go. The gentleman did an awesome job and it has lasted for 3 weeks still looking fresh, going back to keep the nails and do fill ins. Very professional and kind staff.

Tony was super meticulous for my powder dip nails. Polish was smooth, not thick, cuticles were perfectly trimmed. So impressed! Salon is cute, clean, new pedi chairs with massage. Everyone is friendly and maintain a calm spa atmosphere. In the Ross plaza. Great add to the neighborhood !!!

So, the place is clean and their work is good but they suck on taking people you can expect to wait there 1-2 hours and they don’t take people at 6 when they close at 7 I get it you want to go home but you clearly have enough time!!! Most people get out at 5 and living in Chicago there’s traffic so you guys need to update your hours and stop being so rude about it.

I came here for the first time yesterday because the traffic was so heavy and my usual nail place is in Lakeview and was closing soon. I am not good with change and have been going to the same nail place since I was 13 so I was nervous to get a no chip here. I was so pleased I stopped in and tried this place. They took me even though they were about to close the salon was so clean and so beautifully decorated and the nail tech that did my nails shaped them perfectly and I am very very picky so I usually have something I do not like on my nails but this time not at all. I will def be going back here the service was great as well as the atmosphere. Def a place more people should try out

A nail technician filed my cuticles leaving me with scabs on multiple fingers from where she filed off skin. I told her it was painful and that she was filing my skin...she laughed. My cuticles are still sore a week later. The next technician shaped all my nails unevenly. This was very rushed, sloppy and painful. Never going back.

I have come here twice and both times I have not been disappointed. They take their time and always do a professional job. I brought my 7yo daughter and they were just wonderful with her. The establishment is always clean and the staff is always attentive.

Ive gotten my nails done a couple times thinking the next time will be better. But im done, I wont be going again. My no chip doesnt even last a week before a nail chips. (Im always careful, always wear gloves when using chemicals or washing dishes) also they can be more efficient when removing old no chip instead of soaking my nails for 30+mins

We were late and the greeter seemed rude even though we were trying to be polite and re-ask our questions in different ways to get an answer. That experience was only worth one star...but the service after that was definitely 5 stars.

Update:I have been going here for the past 9 months but one guy did my nails recently and the acrylic chipped off within 2 days. I went to have one nail fixed and the others started breaking off the next day🙄 so annoying. I have not had nails look like trash 3 days after getting them done. I would suggest sticking to the one person you like to do your nails because the others techs are not as good.They do AMAZING pedicures but only decent nails (sometimes they come out good and sometimes they don’t) they have a great selection of polish choices which is what keeps me coming back. They also seem pretty proffesional and nice. Love how clean the salon is and the decor is beautiful and modern.

I like the service but not from all ... I invited a friend I recommended her there to go with me and get her nail for the first time but the person that did her nail didn’t understand well what she what and just did a terrible job after we told him she didn’t what the white tip just acrylic with no chip French and didn’t even put her no chip just regular nail polish my friend was so upset it made me look bad recommend her there 🥺 but the 1 and 2 they do a good job .

The worst! I asked for a French with a light pink overlay, didnt get that, at all! When I made it clear I wasnt happy, was told they didnt have time to fix it. Still tipped him, but I will never return, nor would I recommend.

My girlfriend went there last week and she had a bad experience. The place is very clean but there’s a young lady who works there, and I’ll blame her for this bad review. The owner of that place can check the video recording on Monday (April 8th, 2019 between 11:35AM to 12:18 noon)... All workers were busy and that’s something we totally understand, even a young guy was so nice with my girlfriend and helped her to charge her phone on her waiting. The bad part was when one of the workers (the young lady) stand up and starts to clean her area because she had finished another customer, then my girlfriend though she was next because she had been waiting for more than 30 minutes in that moment... well the young lady went to the back of the place and started to walk, drinking water and keep watching my girlfriend expecting than someone else taking care of her, but she didn’t realize that my girlfriend was keeping an eye on her (this took more than 15 minutes) it was SO uncomfortable and of course, my girlfriend did feels so bad and discriminated and for that reason she left after waiting 45 minutes and with no service done. My girlfriend probably will go back there for a last chance due she loved the service she got months ago (the first time she visited that place) and depending of that, I’ll update my review.

I had a bad experience the first time I came here the guy was rude got mad when ever I tensed up because it was my first time ever getting my nails done and made sure I gave a tip by looking right at me when I payed, I gave him a 5 Dollar tip he didn’t seem very happy about it! I hated the customer service he gave but I gave it another chance so I got a fill in with another worker and they where very nice wish I could have gaven him a tip instead of the other guy. I’m coming back but I don’t like the extra charge for coffin! It’s a SHAPE that made me lose a bit of interest but this time i for sure WILL NOT be getting coffin.

They do lumpy nails. They are not well trained and they ignore you when trying to explain the issue with the nails. Have been there 3 times and each time have had problems with my fullset.

This place needs to update there update there hours...so disappointed. I was looking to get my nails done and showed up around 4:13pm on a Sunday. They were closed, didn’t take me even tho it wasn’t 5pm. They had enough time to do my nails. Not a great business if they don’t want customers. I would’ve gave them zero stars, but not allowed to on this page.

They’re so nice and friendly here so I hate not giving it 5 stars bc of it but the actual job done on my nails is okay. I’ve gotten two regular manis and neither time did they shape my nails, so they kept my natural nail shape which are kinda all over the place. Some being more rounder than the others. It also wasn’t the same nail tech w the issue. The polish application pooled a little at the end where it doesn’t look super bad but there’s no clean line to make it look more distinct and professional. They are generous w their less opaque polishes tho, i got pastel colors both times and they did three coats of only the color polish not including base and top. I think I will return one more time and maybe voice my concerns bc they really are nice and clean here so I’d like to give them another chance.
