I went here looking for a place, they were nice but, they took 170 dollars from me for an application fee. Promised to help find something that would work and I never heard back. I called and asked could they refund the fee since nothing was found or little to no communication. I was told yes then, completely never gave a anything back. Leon was awesome to work with. He was very nice and outgoing, making it very easy and comfortable to work with him. He was extremely quick at responding and was able to work around our work schedules and tight windows and fit us in to see units on short notice. We arranged multiple apartment viewings with Maureen and we had a great overall experience with the company. Life Savers!. This is the second time I have use this company. The first time was to find a tenant for a small rental property that I own. Really good experience. Tenant has worked out perfectly. Got to see how things worked from a tenant aspect. Thought my lease was up in July but was up in June. Set up appointment and had a place in an afternoon. Very low stress. Very impressed with atmosphere, and places to see. I am picky. I own one property that I rent for good prices but have big expectations on a low budget for myself. Have lived in Chicago for 15+ years. I think if you cant find a good tenant on your own or you are looking to find a place to rent this place is top notch.

I worked with Daniela S. to find an apartment. I was moving to Chicago from New Jersey which is a difficult move in itself. I had only one weekend, basically one day, in Chicago to find an apartment. I called into Live Here Chicago and got in touch with their updater to help my mom rent her apartment in Lakeview. I spoke to Andy and he helped me through getting my apartment listed is the term he used. He was very efficient in getting me the agreement to fill out with my mom and get back to him. He had a real estate broker help us come up with a fair price for the apartment.I printed out the listing and went over it with my mom who is out of state and ran it into their office (which is so cute, by the way) and dropped the agreement and a set of keys off with Andy. Not less than a half hour after leaving, I got a call that one of their agents wanted to show his or her clients the place. THAT SAME DAY!! My mom was tickled. Luckily, we gave them a set of keys, so they had access to the unit.Unfortunately, those clients didnt want the apartment, but 3 days later, I got a call from this lovely girl who handles the applications and paperwork saying they had a couple that applied for it. She sent over the information, my mom and I reviewed their application and that same day we gave them the go ahead to move forward with signing the lease.Everything was just so smooth, efficient, handled professionally and really enjoyed dealing with everyone here. I would definitely not only renting apartments through this company, but if you own an apartment to definitely consider renting it out through here.Side Note: All the employees I interacted with here are friendly, professional, and made this experience enjoyable and fun!

As you can imagine, it was difficult to get everything put together and processed in such a short time, particularly because the Manager of the apartment complex took a very long weekend, as did most people, but Alexis and Nikki (in the back office) kept in touch with me during the weekend and into the holiday. I was very nervous because I had a small budget and a small time frame, but Alexis stuck with and kept me informed the entire time. On top of that, the back office kept on the Manager so that I was able to move in early, sign my lease on site, and have all my paperwork filed and negotiated in a relatively short time. I decided to try out Live Here Chicago to find an apartment in Chicago since I was relocating from Ohio. Jessie was the agent to contact me, he asked about all the must haves and what areas my roommate and I were interested in. When we met for our appointment (which was 2 weeks away from our move in date), Jessie took us to numerous apartments and spent his entire day with us. Even when the apartment we were applying for got rented right before we submitted our application, he didnt give up, and instead drove us to another property which we LOVED. I had a great experience with Live Here Chicago. I worked with Brooke Fatal and she was awesome! I initially wanted to live in Lincoln Park and she found 10 places for me to see within a day. Then I changed my mind and decided on Gold Coast. Again, Brooke was awesome and found a bunch of places that fit my criteria and were within my price range. Brooke was always very nice and professional. Ive never worked with an agent that was willing to show me that many places. Brooke is a hard worker and really wants to help you find the perfect home.

Unfortunately they couldnt find anything within our range. Anything we found had tons of hidden fees and most complexes required a DNA test for our well-behaved, 5-year old pup. Overall we had a good experience and our rep was cordial and did his best to help, but the management companies they partner with seemed overpriced and misleading.

Rose was an amazing agent to work with. Her deep knowledge of the Chicago area and her commitment to finding me a place that I really liked truly showed. After we had a roommate back out, Nicole didnt hesitate to start the search over again with new listings with new criteria (even though we called her late at night frantic). Nicole even went by the building they chose after we left town to check on something we had been concerned about just to ease our minds. She was professional, knowledgeable and really knows the city and neighborhoods. Nicole is someone we would work with again!!

Looking for apartments in a big city is THE WORRRST - but Keith Bjorklund was truly amazing. He was extremely helpful finding exactly what we wanted, and incredibly honest, helpful, and pleasant throughout the entire process. The entire Live Here staff we interacted with was wonderful, and their application and lease signing process are very clear and quick. Highly recommend!

Call Rose Elipani...like, now.Im skeptical of apartment rental agencies, especially after my experience with Apartment Savvy, which was less than pleasant, to say the least. I met with Rose, and she was so wonderful. Im moving from the suburbs to the city, so getting downtown to see apartments isnt easy, but Rose made the entire experience seamless. I gave her my requirements: price range, parking, commute-friendly, safe, etc...and she had about 6 apartments to show me, all in the same afternoon. When we arrived at the last property, we were disappointed to discover that the keys wouldnt work...Now, most agents would have simply given up on that listing. Rose was determined...she made several calls, and finally was able to reach the current tenant, who was out and about on a Sunday afternoon. Rose drove to his location, picked him up, and brought him back to the apartment so that we could get in to take a look at the place. It was exactly what I was looking for, and I signed the lease the next day. Oh yeah, and, she drove him back to where he was running errand after we saw the apartment.Rose will go the extra mile for you. She really will. He went out of his way to help me find a place, called to give me updates, and was by far the most attentive rental agent I have ever used in Chicago (Ive used several over the years!). So apartment hunting alone truly sucks. Working with Keith at Live Here Chicago made it so much better. He worked really hard to accommodate my list if very specific requirements, and was extremely helpful without ever making me feel pressured. It was also reassuring to have someone I trusted to go to showings with me (and super convenient for this non-driver to be driven around). Ive worked with other businesses like Live Here Chicago, and usually Im really uncomfortable with the aggressive used car salesman tactics and hig pressure intensity. There was none of that with Keith. I felt safe and supported through my entire search. Ill definitely come back if I have to move again.

Your in Chicago and you need an rental agent, now if your me they need to be attentive, honest, hard-working ( someone wholl go all out for you, because they not only represent the company but they represent you the renter)etc etc. This was my experience with Thomas Sosa ( Live Here Chicago agent) he payed attention to what I said I needed and then he really tried his best to ensure I was satisfied .

Although the unit had sold, she was very responsive and helpful about setting up other viewings in apartments that fit those parameters, and in fact found us a better apartment than the one we were looking for. She was on our side throughout the leasing process as well, and helped us get a good deal on the lease. Could not recommend Brooke Fattal highly enough.

I called Rent Here Realty just a few short weeks before relocating to Chicago from Madison, Wisconsin. I was put in contact with a delightful woman name Rose. She helped to describe the pros and cons of different neighbors and was very good at keeping in contact before I came into town.We went out last monday to look at apartments. As you can imagine, it can be quite overwhelming looking at 6 different apartments in a four hour period. Rose was absolutely fantastic and a breath of fresh air. She helped to keep the different properties straight in my head. We had a fantastic relationship and she helped to alleviate stress, and made the experience quite exciting. They all have different ways of doing things they give you half stories like they dont tell you that youll need a co-signer till you give all your money make sure you have a co-signer who makes 5 times what you need for rent and credit score of 750 or better (basically you need to be rich to get a place with them ) and if you team up with a friend to split the rent youll may need 2 co-signers beware...

DO NOT BOTHER! What kind of real estate request 1st. month rent ever BEFORE the application process goes through!? I REEKS of SCAM! Also...so called realtor Hazel just sounded incredibly sneaky and dishonest, and when I inquired about the office address, she insisted that I meet her somewhere away from the office. DO NOT GET SET UP BY THESE PEOPLE!
