I decided to use Emirates to ship 2 suitcases from West Africa to Chicago because as a passenger I have always been happy with their service. Unfortunately, SkyCargo has been so bad that I am ready to give up on ever being able to obtain my shipment. I dont know the process or what forms are needed. There is no info on the website. I live 3 hours away and tried several times to call for info. However I was continuously transferred to people who could not help or unanswered phones. I drove the three hours to the airport to try to get my shipment but everyone was less than helpful. I had to raise my voice and explain to them that I do not know the process and they would have to provide some kind of information so Id know what to do. I was sent to the customs office despite the woman in the cargo area knowing very well that the office was closed. I feel helpless and just tired from the runaround today. This experience has completely tarnished my opinion of the Emirates brand.

Hit or miss with this place, can be 30 minutes or can be 5 hours. Majority of the employees are rude and insanely unproductive. Every warehouse worker takes a break after loading each truck.

Philipino lady at the front is always nice. A gem in that work environment. Sad to say they are also the slowest in all of Chicago. Truckers actually bring their own chairs to set in. They open at 7. You can be first in line and still wait 40 minutes for the forklift drivers to notice you. Then theyll do something else and nota acknowledge you at all. My guess is they need to be paid per truck!!!! Instead of hourly!

Office people are special as hell. For anyone goings its hot and no seats available. Forklift drivers are good people just the office need pick up there game is all. Waited 2 hrs for a small box due to there error.

I had adopted a cat from the UAE, and he flew in cargo today. I had no idea what I was doing or going when I arrived a very nice gentleman explained where I should go, so when I got to counter another gentleman came out and mind you his flight hadnt landed yet, asked for my paprework and assure me it would be about 45-50mins. Asked if i already went to customs (I had not) and told me he would take care of everything.I was really honestly impressed with how polite everyone was to me and how they kept me informed on what was going on, the terminal manager himself came out and let me know that my cat passed customs and asked the lady at counter to go ahead and process my paperwork so when the cat got to terminal I could get on my way home.Like I said I was very pleased with how everyone was so helpful.I would use this service again for sure.Christina Snider

Dirty bathrooms.I traveled from Dulles airport to Dubai in Sept 2017.Restrooms were filthy.I wanted to use the restroom before we took off so I was the first one to use those restroom of that flight. There should have been no excuse to not get it cleaned.Floors were wet with tissue paper on the floor, sinks filled with dirty water, toilet seats filthy with urine on it.I went to another restroom but they were even worse.Food tables / trays attached to seats had bits of food on them / dirty. I switched my seat as the plane had empty seats but the rest were dirty too.Then connecting flight from Dubai to Pakistan was even worse (dirty). Since the connecting flight was in 40 minutes, I couldnt waste a minute at the airport.I was the first one to go in the restroom but wasnt surprised as the restroom were as dirty and filthy as the first flight.Very limited food given.My advice:1). Use restroom at the airport before getting on the plane2). have snacks in your hand bag3). Cover your body completely as the plane is dirty / filthy.

This airport cargo facility is always busy.there is usually about a 3-4 hour wait from the moment you arrive and get on line to be serviced.Depending on if you are dropping off or picking up, that is where the window of time can shift.You can approce the line that is fromed in front of the dock areas (a little south of the building) from the north or south streets adjacent to the place. Once you see the line of trucks waitign to get on the final line, then you wait for an empty spot and then you go inside to the main office to check in and see if your pick up or delivery is ready. The office is located on the north east side of the building. To get to the office, you enter the bulding from the said corner and follow the path alond the wall until you see the windows. Approace the ladies and provide all the information. If your packages/cargo is ready youll be checked-in in less then 5 min. Once you get authorization, you are given a sheet to hand the forklift drivers and they will take you in the order you get in line that is formed in the cages. Once its your turn, just go in and let the dirver know what dock door yourre in and they will bring the stuff to you.You must have pallets to exchange or they wont give you your stuff.If you are driving a straight truck, they wont load it. You must do it.

I like this airline.The seats are comfortable. The service is really good there is no better than this airline. The movies are new and nice . The toilets are clean.

All this guys in cargo area whos loading and unloading trucks needs to be fired. Very slow, not acceptable in any way. Sometimes it takes 5 to 7 hours to load a truck. What kind of business is that??? And of course management doesnt know anything about that.
