This spa is like no other, absolutely beautiful!The treatments, the rooms the spa professionals everything was perfect!

I have been a customer for 8 years. The environment is very relaxing. They have the best spa music! I never wait long for service. Staff is very caring and they take their time. Your comfort is their number one priority. Prices for wax and pedicure services are reasonable for a spa facility. I never have issues scheduling an appointment.

The massage we received at Natural Elements was amazing! Bill did a fantastic job and we are looking forward to our next appointment. There was a miscommunication error on Natural Spa end with setting up a couples massage but I believe it was the manager who talked to us and apologized about the mishap and gave us a free service. Even with the miscommunication, I still believe they are five stars because of the environment, quality of the massage, and how they handled their mistake. We will gladly recommend them to anyone.

I get my haircut here every 3 weeks. The service is great and I usually get seen early. The staff is very professional and cater to some amenities I may want. They offer water, tea, and coffee while you wait. I have also received a spa capsule treatment which was very relaxing. The combination of steam and mist was relaxing and the salt scrub made me feel fresh all over.

I purchased a gift card for my mom for her birthday and when she called to schedule her services, she was treated so rudely that shes now asking me if I can get a refund for my money. They did not help her schedule an appointment at all. I guess they dont care since the moneys already been spent?? Really disappointed.

I just got the 60 min hydrotherapy. While I was waiting to be called the ladies we were waiting were praising the massages. I CANNOT wait to go back. If you are looking for an in and out place dont come here cause I promise you just wont want to leave. Its welcoming, its warm its intimate. This was the spa experience I was looking for. I call myself lucky finding it. And truly for the experience they are offering its affordable!!! Shout out to Kara, talk about personable, kind and friendly!!! A+ place. I was in town for an event and was desperately looking a place just for a shampoo and style since I had hand surgery. They were able to fit me in. From the moment I walked in to when I left absolute first class service. Juanita was great! She handle me with TLC. Knew I was in town and even described the hair products... all natural (Davines) and just loved it. My hair felt great even after 3 days... remember I had hand surgeryIm definitely going back the next time Im in town and now Im looking for salon with the same products up here in DC.. anyone?

Hands down one best messages Ive ever had. Arguably the best. Easily found my areas of tightness and pain and applied perfect pressure. Very conscientious of my a recent injury I told him about working the area with expertise. Highly recommend!

I received a gift card for this organization and decided on a massage and haircut. The massage was fantastic. The haircut, however, was nothing like what I asked. I ended up with the wrong cut AND wrong color. This was a huge step for me to have this service done, as I have not, in a long time. Nor do I have a lot of time to commit to this type of service. They did not charge me full price but are only giving me 30% off to fix it. The repair would require a new cut and new color service. Im very displeased with what I left with. The stylist was friendly and no one was rude to me but I did not leave satisfied.

I arrived early for my massage. I didnt sit more than 5 min when my therapist asked if I wanted to start early. Not only did she start early, but she offered to keep me longer if I wanted it because she had extra time between clients. Of course I took it. Virginia was very professional and caring. It was an advanced more technical massage and it was just what I needed to break through my migraine pains. I plan to come back for a regular beating. :)

I cant say enough great things about Tricia who has been my hair stylist for about 9 years now. She gives me a unique color that looks great on me while keeping my hair looking healthy. Tricia is amazing and understands curly hair.The staff is warm and welcoming. The facility is always clean. I leave there feeling pampered and relaxed.

I have been getting my hair done here, cut colored, highlights for years with the outstanding Trisha. Believe me she is great or I wouldnt travel from Yorktown to get my hair done. This last appointment I was early, so I asked if they could possibly squeeze in a 30 minute massage before my hair appointment. Well within a few minutes I was whisked away to the lovely massage room and had the best 30 minute massage I have ever had by Mary. Mary was thorough and talented and I have had a great many messages all over the world in my travels. I love this Spa and Salon and truly believe its the best in Hampton Roads.

Wow! I loved every minute of my experience at Natural Elements Spa and Salon which included 30 minutes in the spa capsule (I highly recommend!) followed by a 30 minute massage. All the natural in house made products they used on me during my time there were amazing! I loved them so much that I ended buying all the products they used. I also highly recommend Prudence! She is bubbly and gentle and creates a very relaxed comfortable environment. This was my first time for a table spa massage (only had a chair massage a few times) and I could not have expected better. I will surely be back again soon! I am so thankful for my gift card from Christmas that I got to use here! Great gift ideas!

Had my first wax. Virtually painless. The tech I had was very friendly. The staff was very friendly. I have my next appointment in a month. I would definitely try out the spa packages that they carry in the future.

My guy sent me here for my birthday, and I got a body scrub and massage. It was such a lovely experience. The staff members were very quick, welcoming and attentive. Rozalia was my masseuse, and she did a wonderful job keeping the environment calm and comfortable. I felt refreshed and relaxed for the entire day, then topped it all off with a deep comfortable sleep. Their products smell and feel fantastic, I must go back for a couple of those sugar scrubs. I just had the best massage that Ive had in years at Natural Elements. Cant believe how long Ive been in the area and didnt know about this place. The facility is beautiful and tranquil and the staff was very friendly. Not to mention that my massage therapist, Tanisha, worked wonders on my back. Definitely going there again and you should too.

From the moment you walk in this spa until well after you leave you feel relaxed. This was my first spa experience in years and Churice was amazing. I had many sore muscles from workouts and she worked out all of the kinks and had me feeling great by the end of the session. I was offered a facial at a discounted rate and thoroughly enjoyed this unexpected treat. I have already scheduled my next appointment and I will definitely be a regular client at this spa!!!

I dont think the service I received was worth the money.. I got my chin waxed and a small area under my chin and I paid 40$ !? When I got home I found myself still plucking hairs away so there was no thoroughness. I will not be returning to get waxed !! but the lady Kara was very nice & informative

I always have a great time! Shelia is GREAT and I had a wash, cut and style hair appointment leaving me with some pretty sexy layers for my medium long length hair! This spa is always friendly, clean and accommodating. My husband and I have had other services and plan to have more in the future!

I had my first appointment with Natural Elements Spa & Salon yesterday and Im hooked, I have arthritis in my left hip and lower back which was really bothering me. I saw the positive reviews for this Spa so I made an appointment for a 90 minute massage along with a hair cut and style. The masseuse (Carisa) was wonderful. Just the right amount of pressure. When finished with the massage, my arthritis pain was practically gone. She did a better job for me than the various physical therapists Ive been going to.And not to forget the hairstylist, Megan. My hair was cut two weeks before and the stylist there left my hair very uneven. Megan took the time to cut it the way I wanted it. She explained why my hair was breaking off. She put on a conditioner and I waited four minutes before rinsing. My hair so longer looked frizzed. It was so shining and healthy looking.

Great place, professional, clean, and my tech Brittany did an amazing Brazilian wax for me. I would recommend my friends to Natural Elements Spa.

I found Natural Elements listed as Chesapeake’s ‘best’ waxing facility for 2018. I’m in the beauty industry & was eager to read all the stellar reviews, as I’m new to the area & felt like I had found my new “one stop shop” for all my beauty/spa needs. Unfortunately, I was wrong.I hate to say this, but I received the worst wax I have ever gotten. I’m not sure if the aesthetician was just having a rough day, or what was going on, but the result was a sloppy & poorly executed wax to my lady bits....During past appointments at other businesses, the aesthetician would hand me a mirror at the end to assure that I was happy with the results. That didn’t happen this time & I didn’t see the result until I went to put my undies & pants back on.Unfortunately, I’m out $70 for a wax & $10 for a tip. In addition to a poor execution, I’ve also NEVER spent $70 on a wax, so I assumed I’d be receiving the best wax of my life (I usually pay around $50) but hopefully this serves as help to the owner/manager to ensure that all employees are confident, capable, and overall comfortable and education is continued to maintain top notch service and customer satasifaction to match the top notch pricing.I should also mention that I had a massage and hair cut scheduled for tomorrow, but cancelled those as I feel like I can’t trust the judgment of whoever hires their employees.In all, I’m super bummed, but gave the salon 2 stars as everything appeared super sanitary, it was just a really poor execution. I hope this review serves as constructive criticism & all parties involved can use my thoughts to improve.

Since my last post, I have been to Natural Elements on several different occasions. I have had a facial, a pedicure with some nice white wine to enjoy while i was relaxing but nothing compares to my massages with Virginia. Oh my goodness, that women is truly a god send. I walk in with aches and pains all over my upper back but i walk out of there feeling like a new person. She digs deep and gets to the root of the problem for sure. Thank you so much Virginia!!!!!! :) and thank you to Natural Elements for being such a great place.After months of searching and searching I finally found a spa that has great reviews, so i decided to make an appointment. I went to Natural Elements the other day for the first time for a couples massage. The Spa is amazing love the location and the ambiance, however, my masseuse was awful. :( Went for a full body and he only worked on my back, then flipped me over and worked on my quads and feet and he was done. Never touched the back of my legs or my arms, it felt as though he was nervous or a first timer. There was no pressure even though i asked if he could apply more but he never did. Awful! My wife on the other hand had an amazing masseuse and thats all that really matters. Shot out to Marteen! I will go again and request one of the ladies that I have heard about from a friend.

I really enjoy the service when I come here. However my latest experience getting a Brazilian wasnt that great. The young lady I normally see was out of town for the week so I went ahead booked it with someone else. Worse thing I could have done. The young lady was professional but she didnt do a good job on my wax at all. I still had hair left the wax felt like it was cold every time she tried to pull the wax off it was like she didnt know what she was doing. I have a pretty decent pain tolerance but I was just over the whole experience. Out of kindness I still left a tip but now I know just to stick to my favorite waxier next time. But all in all I would still recommend this spa to anyone I know and long as Im here in the area I will continue to go to natural spa elements for my spa treatments

Ive been to this spa once before and had a pleasant experience however I received a gift card for Christmas that I misplaced for quite some time and when I called to schedule services I found out that it had expired, so not only was I not able to use it but they didnt refund the person who purchased the card either..this is just bad business to me, someone paid for services, it should be refunded upon expiration if your going to put an expiration date on a spa credit. Moral of the story, if you receive a gift card, use it right away!

I get a monthly massage from Bill. I have a bad shoulder and always feel great after my massage. I sleep wonderful that night. Everything is always very clean and everything is very nice.

I had my very first (but certainly not last!) hot stone massage yesterday with Martene (sp?) She explained the whole process and was very thorough. That added heat was so very relaxing and made the muscles just melt with pleasure. I also treated myself to a pedicure with Brittni, who is always a pleasure. Natural Elements is my new favorite treat!

Best ever! Moved here nearly a year ago and needed to find a new salon. Went to one, so disappointed. Found NESS and that was it. Megan is a miracle worker!! My hair is amazing, I have more of it, am losing less and less of it in the shower or while blow drying and its all because of a system she recommended! No one wants to lose their hair, or begin to as I was. But its back baby! I love it. My daughter now goes there to keep her pixie cut the length it needs. Wonderful place, wonderful people, great atmosphere...just cant find enough adjectives to describe NESS. Best place in Virginia Beach/Chesapeake. Thanks for being there and for being so awesome!

Went in for a full Brazilian wax with Brittany. She was thorough and comforting. I had this service done in other spas this one is by far my favorite!

I am a kind of upset I didnt get to try your service. I sent a request for a couple massage and I got a voicemail earlier in the day saying you had availability to call you back. By the time I got off work and was able to call you didnt have any appointments. I understand that you get booked up but if I was left a voicemail to call back to confirm what times I wanted and I called back that same day you cant tell the customer hey we no longer have appointments sorry.

Disappointed! The facial was great, but they put me down for a manicure when I wanted a pedicure. The tech scrambled to set it up, but as rushed throughout and had an attitude. Plus the guest next to me just wouldn’t stop talking! For the price I’m paying, I could at least get headphones to drown out unwanted noise while in a SPA. I won’t be returning

I go to NESS for everything! Megean does my hair, and every time its perfect. The cut lasts for a long time, which is great because I dont come in as often as a person should. Ive sent my mom here to have her hair done as well, and the color was fantastic. Its been growing out, but you really cannot tell. Definitely will continue to go here!

Ive got some beef with Natural Elements recently and I will explain why.Let me preface this review by saying that Ive been going to Natural Elements for many years (minus the 4 that I lived in Georgia). I used to go just for swedish and hot stone massages a handful of times a year and never had any issues.Fast forward to 2018. I started getting prenatal massages 3 months ago. My first visit on 10/6/18 was with Mamie. She did an incredible job. I love the table set up that allows me to get comfortable with my growing bump. Special training is required for prenatal massage as there are additional precautions to take and Mamie was very clear about what I would expect prior to my treatment. From start to finish, I was relaxed and comfortable.I made a 2nd appointment on 11/3/18 with Mamie. The receptionist/scheduler even asked Mamie at the desk about her availability because she said she was only there on 1 Saturday each month. We collectively agreed on 11/3.When I returned on 11/3, my treatment had been rescheduled with Becca. I assumed that perhaps Mamie had a conflict so I decided to proceed because I had such a great first prenatal experience. This treatment was a huge let-down. I felt, like a previous review said, that I paid an arm and a leg for a 60-minute (actually 50-minute) lotioning appointment, even after I specified my pressure preference (same as with Mamie) and what area of the body I needed additional focus on. She did focus on my back, but never once touched either of my arms or hands. When I left, she was also keen on trying to up-sell me special pillows and aromatherapy items. I hate this tactic with a passion. I left feeling disappointed and didnt make another appointment right away.I eventually decided to book again online, hoping I could get in with Mamie. I booked the only other therapist listed online that was available for prenatal massage in addition to Becca - Laura Anne. I showed up for my appointment this past Sat 12/1/18 and checked in. I sat in the zen room until 5 minutes past my appointment time and then decided to check online to make sure I had the time right - my text message and online reservation confirmed 10:00 am... but I had been AGAIN moved to Beccas schedule. How this happened twice, I dont know, but it certainly upset me. They either needed to cop to changing my therapist without telling me or adjust their booking system because something is wrong.The reservationist was very understanding and accommodating when I explained that I specifically booked with someone else due to my disappointing previous visit. I was eventually seen by Laura Anne, who was fantastic, but I was still shortchanged on the appointment length. This seems to be a common complaint if you read their reviews on Yelp.I have made another appointment with Laura Anne, who I would highly recommend for prenatal massage in addition to Mamie - if she even still does treatments there. I cant seem to find her availability through the book online app. I have not yet decided if I will keep this appointment or take my business elsewhere. I consider myself to be an understanding individual since I have worked in customer service myself for years, but I am almost expecting my appointment to be screwed with if I decide to return.

I had my first trip to natural elements for a cut and color. I believe Meghan was the gal the I was set up with. The inside of the spa seemed awesome, which is the only reason I gave this place 2 stars and not one. I was sitting with the foils in my hair and my husband called. I was on the phone with him less than 3 minutes when she started pacing around with a dirty look on her face. I clearly noticed at which point I ended our conversation immediately. She came over briskly and said I was ready to rinse.As for the cut, nothing special and fairly average for a place like this where you pay for something incredible.The color was not at all what I asked for. It was bland and dull, and I mentioned over and over about copper tones and wanting something multi-dimensional and not boring. It just turned out brown. Now the color is already completely fading less than 2 weeks later. Highly disappointed in this.What really made me give such a bad review was the style at the end. I was asked if I wanted a lot of body and what I wanted done. I said yes, lots of body and wavy curls or in other words loose curls. She did a blow out with the round brush and sent me on my way. No hair spray, and my hair was flat as all get out. My bangs were not even curled so while the rest of my hair had a bit of a flip on the end my bangs had NO body and were straight/flat which looked absolutely terrible.I know she had an appointment 10 minutes after I left, which would explain why she rushed me out the door with such a bad style job. It is a little frustrating to pay close to $200 to get my hair done and I am rushed out the door for a wax appointment.Unfortunately I will not be back. My hair is nothing I mess around with and I am willing to pay good money for a job well done. As a mother of 3 this is incredibly disappointing because I rarely get a chance to have time for myself. I was really looking forward to having beautiful hair for my date night with my husband to accompany the cute outfit I purchased but unfortunately I was left highly disappointed. If you want to try the spa I couldnt say one way or another but I am not impressed with the salon portion.

One of the best experiences I had in awhile. I normally dont do reviews however this place does deserve one. I just had a couples massage with my fiancé and myself had the most professional ladies. Becca and Carisa, did AWESOME. They focused on our areas that were needed, and ensured everything was to our liking. I recommend this place for others to go by. The spa was clean and relaxing, the staff was friendly and very professional. This literally was a five star exprience and I will be going back for another massage.

When Jennifer left, I asked her who she would recommend that I sign up with to continue my peds and she recommended Brittani. I honestly feel that I won the lottery on this one ... Brittani was fantastic and I truly felt like a new man from head to toe. The entire staff continues to be the most pleasant and professional group that Ive ever encountered and they never fail to smile and to make sure that everyone is comfortable and well pampered. I found this place on google, the first time I went was bc they were the only ones that could get me in the next day for a wax. I didnt have high hopes bc every time I go to a salon/spa I get super annoyed at all the stuff they try to sell me on and its never a good experience. That is not their practice here, so I LOVE it!!! I went back to get my hair done, again not having high hopes bc I have trust issues with getting my hair cut, but Katie was amazing! No sales pitches, she was super friendly, took the time to explain how to apply oil so my hair wouldnt look greesy, and explained dry shampoo to me. I love this place, I will be going back for all my salon/spa needs!

I know that if I want my hair styled so that IT IS ME, Megeans my choice. I have been a faithful client of hers since she started at NES. She has styled my then short hair to now a longer length over three years. We opted to stop any coloring of it as I really wanted to see just how many silver strands I have.NES also has Neuma hair care products which work extremely well on my hair. My last visit, Megan recommended using the hair spray and provided the tip for application. Instead of spraying it on your hair, spray it into the palm of your hand and just touch your hair ever so lightly then use the hair dryer on the COOL setting to set it. WOW! I would be attending an event in another State that was hot and humid and my hair did not frizz and it was not stiff like so many other hair spray products.Thanks Megan! Shes a star!

Im updating my review. Ive been visiting Natural Elements since my longtime stylist, Katie, began working here around 2 years ago. Since then Ive had several massages, my nails done every three weeks, my hair cut and colored every three months, etc. Im a member of their Spa program where I get a 60 minute massage or standard mani/pedi every month for $59.99. I tend to go with the massage because I do shellac polish with Crystal.I love the location of the Spa off Eden Way by Taste and tons of other little places to eat. Its very easy to find, has tons of parking, and is surrounded by lots of shopping and food so you can make a day out of a trip here.Inside is welcoming and cute, the spa area is very nice and relaxing, the bathrooms are clean, they have nice products for sale, and the salon area is also well appointed, spacious, and clean.Katie is fabulous, she always has been, this is why I have followed her all around Hampton roads over the last 8+ years. Shes personable, talented and I trust her to help me make good choices with my hair. Recently, we cut off a good 8 inches of hair into an angled bob, dyed some of it bright pink, and highlighted my usual blonde! It was an adventure but its so cute and Ive gotten loads of compliments on it.Crystal has been doing my nails every three weeks for over a year and shes amazing. She is very good at what she does, my signature, black french tip manicure, she does by hand and its excellent. Im very picky about the lines and she nails it. She is a perfectionist so shell soak them off and re-do them if she doesnt think theyre perfect. We experimented a bit this past year for my upcoming wedding vows and played with some colors and combos and shes more than willing to mix colors or experiment with styles to help you figure out what you want. I love coming to see her, shes friendly and funny and the time flies while were talking.Ive had a bit more trouble finding a massage tech I like but recently Ive been seeing Becca who is new to Natural Elements and she is amazing. I had a 90-minute massage yesterday and I almost fell asleep on the table - thats never happened to me before!I really do enjoy this spa - when you enter you feel like they know you as they almost always greet you by name. The only reason Im not giving 5 stars is that their gel color selection is lacking. Its made up mostly of dark dark colors and theyre pretty drab and dreary - older if you know what I mean. I dont know many 30 year olds who want to paint their nails deep dark shades of browns and dark brownish reds and purple. Ugh. Ive been asking for months to get some lighter pretty gel pinks and reds and fun shades. Ill continue to pester everyone I can until they order some colors that have some happy vibrancy.... those dark dreary winter colors have to go. Have a couple but - come on - lets get some pink! Its nails after all.

A little pricey for the quality of work that was done -- $50 for a regular pedicure in which the polish was applied unevenly, the design on the big toe was simply two pale blobs of polish in opposite corners of the nail (it was supposed to be a summer-y flower), and a few rough areas were left unsmoothed -- but the technician was very friendly and was fairly knowledgable on questions I had that did not pertain to the pedicure (i.e., skincare and hair removal for pale, über sensitive skinned folks; sugar waxing; and how to choose a proper waxing salon). In hind sight, maybe all of my questions distracted her from applying my nail polish properly...Additionally, when I made her aware of my previous nail salon woes (sensitive skin + cheap products = itchy, painful hives/rashes for days), she provided me with the ingredients list for the exfoliant scrub and lotion she intended to use so I could make sure that I was not sensitive to them. I can verify that their products are made with high quality ingredients, which include all natural essential oils (they smell so good!); natural brown sugar for the scrub; no artificial dyes or perfumes; and no super strong, drying alcohols. My legs, feet, and sanity were extremely thankful for this, as my highly sensitive skin experienced no itching, burning, or rashes from their products. In fact, my usually super dry skin was actually a little greasy afterwards; not enough to be an issue, but a little slippery nevertheless.Overall, the spa atmosphere and staff attitudes were excellent. These two key elements are the reason this review is 4 stars instead of 2, and why I will go to Natural Elements Spa and Salon again. For my next visit, however, I will probably opt for the upper-level pedicure, since the foot/leg massage was practically non-existent for the regular pedi. Im hoping the polish/smoothing job will improve on my next visit as well, because if not I will most likely be in the market for a new spa.

Natural Elements is where I go for my spa treatments, I have had facials, mani/pedi, massages, and spa capsule at Natural Elements. I must say I have enjoyed each experience every time I go. Robin does my facials, I think her name was Ebony that did my spa capsule but she is no longer there. I just went there yesterday for a pedicure which was done by Erika, my feet felt wonderful and looked good.Natural Elements is good for having monthly specials on their website and last minute specials on facebook which I love. I love the atmosphere there its very relaxing, with the calming music piped throughout the roooms. After you check in you wait in the Zen room where they have various teas, water and other refreshments.This is the place to go to get pampered and to rejuvenate yourself.

The environment is very nice but I felt the services were mediocre and the prices were fairly high. Went to a different Spa and got the same services for $120 less.

Thursday, 1-14-16, was my first visit at the Natural- Elements. The hour-long pedicure session was an experience of being pampered from the beginning to the end. I am looking forward to my next visit.

$50 for a 30 minute spa pedicure. REALLY?When the appointment was booked, we were told it would last an hour. It was nothing more than a pedicure from the chain down the road. MOST disappointing.

Its well worth !
