BEST NAIL SALON EVER!! Personable, sweet, and my nails looked perfect and lasted a long time! They know what they’re doing! Definitely would recommend to anyone! I came here because my normal nail place was closed, I will never go to my old place again :)

Also, I believe he’s the owner but he did my hands hands. I got my pedicure on Saturday and got my hands done Monday. The owner saw I had a smudge on one of my toes and they redid the entire nail. I love them all so much. They’re so sweet and grateful people. Hard to find that at nail salons. I travel for a living and I’ve literally been everywhere. My new place when I’m in Virginia, I don’t care if I have to drive 2 hours, I will!

So- I’m tough on my nails, but I expect my gel manicures to last at least 2 weeks. Well, it took 2 years, but I’ve finally found the place that can do it like NY does it. Perfect manicure (Henry is meticulous), spotless salon, courteous and professional. Great selection of gels and I’m told they are getting all new color polishes in. They did a kids manicure on my 8 year old and they were very gentle with her cuticles (thank you, Gwen!). I’m so impressed. I will be back for a pedi next week. Thanks to a friend, I’ve finally found my nail salon. (Note: they picture is 4 days in. I work in a hospital- I’m constantly washing my hands and peeling stickers. I’m impressed! The color is a cat’s eye mood changing color- believe me, the color is better when my hands are cool!)

I used to love this place and have great experiences, today I went and it was embarrassing. The nail tech I got made so many negative comments about my nails, the shape, the fact I had a small blood blister under one. She got upset the way I was holding my hand, the way I had my hand in the UV light, and kept asking me to not move when I was really trying not to. Then I made the mistake of asking to get my eyebrows waxed which I have done many times before. She asked me if I was medication I said no, she’s like oh you have a spot and pointed to her eyebrow. I’m like yea it’s just a dry patch it’s ok. She took me in the room, went out, came back in, said I can’t wax cause of that spot sorry. Apparently she told the other techs this also because every one of them stared at me when I walked out. Absolutely humiliating

They do an amazing pedicure an excellent gel services! They really go out of their way to make you feel like family and always remember you when you come in. They make sure you like what they’re doing along the way instead of just at the end.

I’ve been going here for about a year now. I recently moved to Newport News but I didn’t find what I was looking for over there lol. Henry does an amazing job on my nails and he also fixed the shaping that another tech couldn’t get right at all! I left out of there very happy today🙂

This was my first visit. I live in Portsmouth and went to a nail salon near me and recieved the WORST service. I was so disappointed. Ive been getting my nails done for more then 2 decades, I know what I like my nails to look like. The minute I walked in I was asked what services I was getting and didnt have to wait. I had my eyebrows waxed and the women who did them was very professional and very gentle. Awesome lady!!! Henry did my nails and completely blew me away! He did an exceptional job fixing my nails. He did them the old school way and thats what I wanted to a tee. This is my new nail spot for sure. I appreciate the treatment and the professionalism of the staff.❤

I visited salon for the first time today. My experience went beyond my expectations. I am so glad to have met Jennie! She was very kind, genuinely caring, knowledgeable and professional. Customer service like this is rare anymore. I left today feeling calm and rejuvenated the way it should be. I must admit that I was long overdue for self care and she made sure to take the time to do what needed to be done.which I am thankful for. In addition, the salon is well kept and clean. They also offer good quality nail and skin care products of your choice. I will definitely be back next time. 🙂

Absolutely blown away with costumer service at GG nail spa. Henry was polite, professional and a true artist. I got a pedicure with full towel service and gel full set manicure for $73! The quality was there from start to finish along with how clean the place was. I cant wait to go back in 2 weeks

Excellent experience today! Had an appointment and rolled right in with no issues. David was great...professional, kind and efficient. My nails look wonderful. However, please know they only take cash tips-I felt terrible as I had none on me. Next time!!

Very disappointed in this salon. I went here Saturday on Halloween and 3 days later I have 2 nails already coming off. I called the salon and informed them of this and I was offered a gift certificate. I told Henry I didnt want to come back and I wanted money back. All he kept saying was he can give me a gift certificate. Henry kept talking over me anytime i tried to talk or ask a question. I told him I couldnt just go by anytime because I work and theyre not close to where I am. He never asked my name or anything but just kept saying to call for him and he can do whatever I want. What I wanted was for my nails to stay on for more than 3 days. I paid $50 for a brand new start from scratch acrylic set. They should not be coming off after a couple of days. I really wanted my money back and unfortunately I am out the money now. This salon had alot of good reviews and I had high hopes for it. But Im ery unhappy with this salon and definitely wont be going back ever again.

I’ve been coming to this nail salon since I moved to the area in 2018. I’ve had a good experience with mostly all of them. I avoid 2 of them but the others are great. Jennie is my favorite person there from nail services to wax services.

I am new to the area and have been searching for a good nail salon. So happy I found this one and Jennie!! She is seriously the best. She really cares about her clients and she takes her time and makes sure you are happy. I have never had a nail tech like Jennie that truly cares and goes above and beyond. She is just AMAZING!! I will definitely come back often!

I’m so sad to say I received the worst manicure in my life. I get manicures every 2 weeks; we moved to the area and I’ve been searching for “my” place to go. The technician wasn’t personable. When I stated the manicure (a dip manicure) looked awful, and explaining why, he said “you’ve got to be kidding me.” I was so shocked and upset I just paid and, unfortunately, had to find another salon down the street to correct the manicure. Fortunately, this experience I did find a salon-it just wasn’t this one.

I had a pedicure and manicure by Jennie, she was awesome! I will definitely be returning to see her! All of the technicians I observed while there were meticulous! John was working in the chair beside us doing a beautiful gel manicure and pedicure! Highly recommend this business!!

This salon is fantastic, the atmosphere is welcoming, and the techs are wonderful with people and children, we took my 2 year old daughter and 3 yr old goddaughter to get mani/pedis and the people were so patient and sweet! We will definitely be coming back!

First time visiting and it will be the last! Horrible customer service. At first they were very accommodating without any reservations. They allowed three of us to walk in for pedis and manis. My nail tech was a nightmare. The water was boiling hot, I asked to cool the water down and she didnt care. Second I asked for a deluxe mani and pedi. I received the basics. She even made me wash my hands in the foot tub. I paid for a deluxe mani and she refused to paint my nails with anything other then clear polish. After, my nail tech had me in tears for being so rough and mean the owner refunded $5 which is a slap in the face after they charged me $70.

I am visiting the area. I came here for a pedicure. Jennie did not make me feel welcomed. We’ve all been on a quarantine and it’s been a while. She was talking about my feet the whole time. I didn’t feel comfortable.

Absolutely loved the service. My mom and I had a appointment at 4 but we were taken as soon as we got there! They were so sweet and understanding about everything. They did an amazing job and was very efficient with their timing. We were in and out. I definitely recommend and will be coming back.

The salon is huge, fairly clean, and I never wait long for a service. Ive tried the following services here and had a good experience with all: Full Set, Regular Pedicure, Dip Power. Henri is wonderful and does a great job.

Great experience for my mom, sister, niece and me! They fit in all four appointments on short notice and the manicures, pedicures, and my full set of acrylics all came out perfectly! We will absolutely be back!

The place is clean. Been coming in since they opened and never had any issues. They use the disposable bags at the pedicure bowls and clean the bowls afterwards. The staff is always friendly. Gwen is amazing. If you need designs, see Gwen.

When I walked in I asked for a pedicure and acrylic nails. After my toes were dry my husband went to pay and they insisted I only said a pedicure. After spending two hours there I had to walk out and get my nails done elsewhere due to the fact I would have to continue waiting to get my nails done. Definitely wasn’t worth the 35 min drive from the naval base .

I completely enjoyed, my experience. They were nice from the beginning to the end. They smiled conversed with me. Everyone was pleasant. Would definitely recommend it to a friend.

I was just here and it is AWFUL! I would not recommend to anyone. I had a gift certificate which I gave them before my pedicure. After my pedicure they told me that they would not accept it. I had to pay the $35. I would have never gotten it done if they told me that ahead of time! I was there for nearly 31/2 hours with some family and it was horrible service! Will never recommend nor go back!

Reputation precedes itself. They treat you like a very valued customer. Five star reviews are well deserved. They communicate well. Its easy to find yourself falling for the up sells here. I appreciated the fact that Francis took his time getting my nails just right. He preciously cared for my feet like they had never been cared for before. I had a minor hiccup, but I have no real complaints.

Jenny did my nails on New Years Eve. She took her time and made sure to apply enough coats for my gel mani and pedi to last. I told her my hands are constantly in water and she certainly took that into consideration in the way she polished. My feet came out soft. She even did under my toe nails. My cuticles turned out way better than the condition they were in when I had come in. Bring cash to tip, as you cannot add it onto your card. The have an ATM in there. But I rather avoid any fees.

Super nice staff and comfortable location, but I’m just not happy with the job done. Got home to realize not only are my toes already messed up, but a completely different color was put on my nails when I wanted them to match. I wouldn’t normally mind but I’m getting married this weekend and now I have to redo it all.*Edit: The manager called and apologized and offered to fix, which was very nice. I’m already on the way out of town but appreciate the offer and know mistakes can happen!

Amazing pedicures! Jennie did a great job and paid great attention to detail. She and John stayed late to finish up for my mom and myself. They didnt rush us out and took their time to make sure we were happy. Jennie also did our brows - I am pretty picky about mine and was very happy with how she evened out the thickness without making them look thin. I will definitely be returning!

I got a pedicure and dip nails done by Henry today and to say my experience was exceptional is an understatement. The Luxury Pedicure was just what I needed and Henry took his time on my nails and proved to me that he truly cares about his clients. Great service and a great price

Today was my first time here. I had been going to another salon and my regular nail tech got promoted and although she referred me to someone else, I was not happy. I read a lot of reviews about how great Henry was and the hype is so true. I had been going to the Green Brier area to get my nails done, when Glamour Girls is right at my back door. The entire staff was friendly and all I can say is that my nails has never looked this good before. Thanks Henry and Glamour Girls my new home.

Its a nice looking place and everyone seems nice but I am frustrated watching them glue plastic nails on to my teenagers nails after i specially asked to the service of building a longer nail on a form so that she did not have a plastic nails glued to her real nail.She is to nervous to stop the person and say thats not what she wanted.She is 15 and actually works for her money that she used to pay for this herself. Its frustrating that this is an English speaking community and she is getting a service she didnt want because they cant understand what we are asking for.I was told the gel powder was not done on a plastic nails so thats what we wanted. I even explained that she has had the plastic nails glued to her nail before and she did not like it so we didnt want it yet thats what she is getting.

Gabrielle have been my nail tech for 5 plus years. She’s amazing! She takes her time, adhere to your scheduled appointment times, and don’t keep you waiting. I love the way she does my nails each time.

This is my go-to nail salon since its close to home, and Ive always had pleasant experiences here. They have a wide variety of colors to choose from, and the facility is very clean.I usually get a gel mani (I highly recommend Kim for this), but this time around I wanted a French ombre for a special occasion. Based on other reviews, I called to make an appointment several days ahead with Henry.Henry did an amazing job with my French ombre mani. My nails have never looked this good!! Kim did a fantastic job with my pedi, and she is very thorough and attentive to detail.

Never again.File kept hitting my cuticle during my manicure.Ended up bleeding when my granddaughter got home.Also was called dishonest by the owner.My granddaughter was 11 turning 12 the following month.I was given the discount but still called a liar.It was myself 2 daughters and 2 granddaughters looking for a relaxing Sunday afternoon.One daughter walked out.I will find a nice place next time.

I have mixed feelings about my experience... overall, place seems nice & didnt appear other ladies nearby had any issues. HOWEVER, my experience was different... older lady helped me and was VERY nice but she was very rough filing my nails which hurt & she cut my pinky toe so now Im living in fear of infection (due to all the horror stories you hear) and it hurts! I also got a gel manicure which looks nice from afar but has air bubbles/particles in it if youre actually looking and the clear coat wasnt applied evenly. I also bumped a nail or something and scraped a little paint off during the 1st coat of color... rather than starting over on the nail or trying to correct it she just kept putting polish on like nothing happened and its pretty apparent it doesnt look right. It was also the LONGEST experience Ive ever had. Even though I repeatedly said I needed to leave by ×pm she went over by almost 20 minutes (total time 2.5 hours for mani/pedi). It was a very time consuming process and my nail place doesnt take nearly that long... Overall, Im not ready to write the whole place off over this one experience but I will definitely only request a male for fear of getting her again...

They were friendly and did a good jobs with the Manis and pedis for me and my kids. I do wish they had a actual kid chairs for my daughters who love to get pampered with Mommy! After I finally picked my gel color out, they said the bottle was empty. Thats a little unsat to me. But overall it was an ok experience.

This was the worst excuse for a pedicure my family has ever experienced. My granddaughter was cut and bleeding, acetone was poured on my leg claiming it was oil(you dont keep oil in a bottle marked acetone), and the girl never apologized, and the one who was going to service my daughter would not let her use the color she chose, instead insisting she use other colors. She walked away from my daughter twice and then said she needed to do her appt and someone else would be with her in a bit. Someone else did her pedicure. Francis was the only one who was friendly and did a nice job. When we complained, we were offered a punch card for our troubles. We refused because we will never be back.

First time here and great experience. Will definitely keep coming back.

I love this place! After I discovered that my normal place was closed on a Sunday evening, I thought I would give Glamour Girls a try. However, when I pulled up, I noticed that it was just after closing time for them as well. They saw me leaving and stopped me and insisted I come. I got a mani and pedi well after closing. The also took there time to do it well. My favorite part is that they were friendly and inviting. They made me feel welcomed even though it was long after closing. This was 3 weeks ago and I’m back to get my nails done again. The mani and pedi lasted 3 weeks. This time I was brought right in, showing up 15 minutes early.

Cash only or if you use a credit card, theres an added fee. Really!!

Enjoy the service and the staff are always professional.
