I have a 2 bed, 1 bath apartment. I wished for 2 baths but working with my helper Daniel made it feel better! His personality alone sold me the apartment!!! 🙂 Hes extremely helpful and will answer your million questions with no attitude! 😃 Its a wonderfully nice, quiet place. Beautiful outside. Neighbors are nice. The inside, apart from being VERY spacious, has a great layout! New carpeting and setup for a washing machine and dryer if you want. My only issue Ive had so far is that theres only one outdoor trash compactor you have to walk to. Other than, Ive seen no problems! Excellent place to live! 👏 👏 👏
My 4 month old daughter and I was looking for our first apartment. Waverton Chesapeake was the first place I applied for, the process was easy and painless. Mr.Daniel sold us a two bedroom and 1 bath and I am very pleased with the customer service I received. No matter how many times I had to rewrite a page on the application Daniel was patient, kind and professional with me . The neighborhood is quiet and my neighbors are friendly. I am pleased with my experience.
All I can say is Great Job Daniel!!!! His professionalism, great job detail, and willingness to go above and beyond for his prospective tenants is such a great attribute for residents who are having problems finding housing. If I could describe Daniel in one word, it would be AWESOME! In this Covid Era people have lost compassion and empathy. Not Mr. Daniel. I showed up without an appointment but when he came out to greet me he remained pleasant and didnt turn me away. In fact we had a great conversation and gave me some good advice. I just moved here on 2/15 and I love every minute of this experience. Daniel worked with me to get into my apartment just in time for my son to be born. The apartment was clean with all new appliances and a cute welcome basket. I’m glad I chose this apartment to become our home.

My apartment has been infested with roaches for months due to a previous tenant and the management has done nothing to help. The entire building needs to be fumigated at this point. DO NOT MOVE OUT HERE. The management does not care about the residents and I wish I had never moved out here.

This was my first apartment, back in 2016. Loved this place! Kid friendly & pet friendly, maintenance staff was fast, kind, and respectable. I’ve recommended many comrades to Waverton while stationed in VA

Im rating this review a 5 star solely based on the help, kindness, patience, compassion, honesty, understanding, and communication skills of Roxanna Anderson the Assistant manager, and Manley the maintenance supervisor. Ive been dealing with a smell in my apartment on top of other underlining issues that were present before I moved in. These concerns have been communicated to the property manager Ms. Ridley and the previous assistant manager Katherine on multiple occasions. Its been a year later and I was still baring with these problems in my unit because I didnt feel like I was being taken seriously. It wasnt until I spoke with Roxanna who was a big help in this process of ratifying the problems in my unit. She answered every time I called, e-mailed, etc. she was kind, patient, and empathic to my problems. I felt heard. I did speak with the property manager Ms. Ridley however, I felt more compassion from Ms. Anderson. Once management realized and remembered the unit I moved into after the previous tenants then it seemed that my concerns were taken seriously and things moved swiftly at that point. Ive heard from my neighbors that the previous tenant did not take care of the unit. Clearly that was becoming apparent over time with me in the unit. It would have been nice if Ms. Ridley acknowledges my concerns as being valid since she is the property manager. Ms. Anderson and Manleys communication and customer service skills were outstanding. They made sure I knew everything that was happening and going to happen every step of the way. Because of Ms. Andersons kindness and sympathy I decided to renew my lease and stay another year. Everyone in that office should take notice of Ms. Andersons customer service skills. I hope shes around for as long as I reside here and after as Im sure other tenants would say the same. Both Roxanna and Manley deserve a pay raise.Thank you again guys!

I’m currently working on and in the process of moving into Waverton and Daniel has helped me and has been patient with me every step of the way. There has been so many bumps in the road and obstacles for me that I wouldn’t have been able to overcome if it wasn’t for the patience of the staff. Now at first I thought I was getting the run around. I know there’s a whole pandemic going on and so I decided to hang in there and be consistent myself and everything has worked itself out so far.

Showed up for my scheduled tour just for them to tell me there were no available apartments to show and to just fill out an application. Wasted time and gas. Customer service is terrible! Stupid and unorganized.

I recently had a bad experience with another apartment complex in Chesapeake, i went to inquire about an apartment at Waverton on 10/15/16 the two young ladies in the office have the greatest personalities, they made me feel welcome just walking in the door,, i mean they were just great and i was so impressed with them i was ready to sign like yesterday!!!! there really should be more leasing agents like these two wonderful ladies, it makes the whole stress process of trying to find somewhere to live much easier..To the management of Waverton youll have the greatest agents in this office and thank you for them, i plan on making Waverton my home in the very near future.....

The property manager schedule for me to put in an application for a two bedroom 11/13/2018 that she stated opened 12/15 and said to come on 12/20 to view the apartment Nd put in the application and said if that date wasn’t good then let her know. I let her know and never got a response. I went there today to check on the status since they don’t answer the phone and she had the nerve to have an attitude as if she didn’t make the mistake. Kaylin said well if i scheduled it in November my bad but it’s sold already what more you want me to do. Even after i explained to her why not Call and say that ? Her response is I’m the only one working what you want me to do. I send that email to everyone. RUDEEEEE get her out of there
Good question posted from a reviewer asking, if the office staff every answering there phones. NO they dont (rarely), you have to call several times for someone to answer, which is very unprofessionally. Cancel trying to call them soon as they open or during lunch hours, maybe they need to consider hiring an receptionist, however they do seem to be friendly once they answer. And one last thing, to make a long story short, i wasted alot of time between 2 months thinking i was going to get approved for my apartment, but didnt. The apartment pics online did seem to look nice, tho they upkeep with grounds lawn need to be better. Guess it wont meant for me to move out Waverton.
The mangement suck it took them three weeks to tell me im over income..mangement is lazy..they pick and choice who they want in the apartment..if you give them a hard time because they are lazy doing there paper and you confront them on it..they deny you..i asked to see my information they told me they cant let me see my own paperwork..why is that? I know why because something fishy going on..If you want to live there you gotta kiss mangement tail..

RENT NEVER STAYS THE SAME EVERY MONTH ITS HIGHER THEN LEASE AGREEMENT THEY DO NOT SPRAY OR KEEP UP WITH APARTMENTS ONLY COLLECT MONEY OFFICE STAFF ARE VERY RUDE AND IGNORANT. THEY WILL TAKE YOU TO COURT AND KEEP CHARGING YOU MONEY TILL YOUR LEASE ENDS AND I HAD TO MOVE DUE TO OVERLOADS OF PEST AND INSECTS THROUGH OUT THE WHOLE LEFT SIDE COURT. TO MUCH MONEY TO WASTE ON ONE PLACE THEY TAKES 1100 TO 1200 OF YOUR MONEY EVERY MONTH OF UNEXPECTED CHARGES NOT THE PRICES YOU SEE ON APARTMENT GUIDES.

Really bad they dont help us just because we are spanish people, the manager is racist people they take application just from black people .
Could be improve by adding a small basket ball court for the teens..and improve the small lake.
Office staff is lacking only concern is your rent money Dorothy Riddley the manager dosent know her own tenants and can care less about your concerns maintenance sucks lacking very poor service apt.units are leaking and drug dealing going on property as well and the office is aware of this concerns trust me this is a family place PLEASE STAY AWAY.....
