The apartments were taken over and renamed Starling Village and since then they got a new water company which is charging way more money then the last one. I got my first bill and they want to charge me 162.72 for water and sewer which is ridiculous especially since the time it was for I was in Illinois. I got a second bill 2 days ago and its even higher in price but says I used less water then the first one. I should beable to see the meter that is suppose to be mine. I have contacted the office and they took a copy of my first bill but I have not gotten any buddy calling me back. Also on the web site it says water and sewer are included.

For a senior place, it was ok . Now that its under new management they took the rent up 80$. Who does that?!!. Advice, look elsewhere

I moved here to be closer to my grandchildren and it seemed to be a nice place. The neighbors are very nice. However, this past month I paid my rent as usual, always on time, and they lost my check. I dropped off another check. They found the first one and tried to cash it after I had to pay to stop payment on it. Now I was told they may charge me $50 insufficient funds fee. Are they kidding? THEY LOST THE ORIGINAL CHECK! Who does that?

I would sincerely like to thank the staff at this community. I have been working with them to get my stepfather residence there. Rachael first off all was very helpful with the very first stages. Emily however is the superstar with finishing everything off and getting him his own place. Thank you all for everything. You Rock!!!!!

There was a deadly lightning caused fire here three years ago that completely burnt nearly the whole apartment complex down. Several people died and several other prople were seriously injured in this deadly lightning caused apartment fire at this apartment complex. So dont live here unless you want to die in a deadly lightning caised apartment complex fire

Nice Senior Building 55 + This Building has 3 floors & a Elevator.The Staff has Trips to the Grocery Store twice a month, One trip to the bank, a month.Maintenance is on duty 24 hrs !Driving into the Main Entrance is 8 Mile Speed Limit .

While my mother loved her final days and was so proud and happy to have her own place. My mother unfortunately passed 6 days after she moved into her apartment. She paid a deposit plus 1st months rent. They consider her passing as a lease break and are keeping all the deposit money which is $1500. No sympathy, Complete and total disregard for the suffering families. Heartless.

This place is very well kept, my grandmother use to reside here.

I went with a friend whos looking to rent there. The facility looks great and it also looks peaceful. Ive discovered that facility houses over 500 seniors.The interior of one the units displayed seems very spacious! The management seems very caring and very sincere! Id highly recommend this facility

A nice place and very affordable

Worst people ever to deal with. My mother had to present tons of documentation ... every time she goes there, something else is required. She also told me they were asking her how much money she had in her purse when she went there. Why do they need to know that? Here we are only a few days from move-in and they need more paperwork. She applied for a one bedroom and when they said an apartment was ready she was shown a 2 bedroom so she will have to pay another $100 a month. My mother had to put one of her dogs to sleep because she could only have 1 dog. She sold over half of her belongings and has cancelled her lease where she is currently living. Now we are not even sure if she will be able to move in. --- I will update on what happens next week. .....So we got my mother moved in with no problems. The inside of the unit is like new. New carpet, all new appliances, and new paint. Very nice. Only one problem. Her air conditioner was broken. We put 2 trouble calls in, one Saturday and one Sunday. An entire week later it is finally fixed. She spent the first night at my house because it was so hot. The next day I went out a purchased a portable air conditioner for $400 which she was running all week.

Crummy realtors...units smell...desperate need of repair...management sucks..Looks unsafe....amenities just are not here.Bad deal high rent...look elsewhere.
